Nintendo 3DS is a groundbreaking hardware
release that brings 3D gaming to the handheld market for the first time.
The fourth major release in the DS product line, the Nintendo 3DS
utilizes 3D Slider functionality and an improved top LCD display to
present a glasses-free 3D effect on compatible games, while giving
players the option to moderate the effect as they see fit. Taken
together with additional features including full analog control in 3D
game environments, motion and gyro sensors that transfer the movements
of the handheld into the game, 3D camera functionality, an adjustable
stylus and full backwards compatibility and you have not only a
must-have system, but a revolution in handheld gaming.

Real 3D Graphics. No Glasses Needed

Introducing the Nintendo 3DS system. Experience incredible gameplay
featuring real 3D graphics that do not require any special glasses or
additional accessories. Nintendo 3DS is a breakthrough in portable
entertainment, a truly cutting-edge piece of hardware that has to be
seen to be believed.

Hardware Features

3D Screen

Like previous handhelds released by Nintendo, the Nintendo 3DS
incorporates both an upper and lower LCD display in a clamshell layout.
The lower screen features familiar Nintendo touchscreen technology, is
3.02" (2.42" wide x 1.81" high) with 320 x 240 pixel resolution and is
capable of displaying 16.77 million colors, but the groundbreaking upper
3D screen of the Nintendo 3DS system is where Nintendo opens up a whole
new world of eye-popping gameplay possibilities. This 3.53" display
(3.02" wide x 1.81" high) is capable of displaying approximately the
same 16.77 million colors, but with 800 x 240 pixel resolution. 400
pixels are allocated to each eye to enable 3D viewing. This stereoscopic
3D display gives objects within the gameworld a feeling of space and
depth that extends far into the back of the screen. This amazing depth
of field effect vastly increases the ability to see the position of
characters and obstacles in compatible game, making many game
experiences even more intuitive for all types of players.

3D Depth Slider

A built-in 3D Depth Slider along the right side of the top display
allows you to immediately adjust the intensity of the 3D settings on the
Nintendo 3DS system to your liking. The 3D effect can also be turned
down completely if the player so chooses. All Nintendo 3DS games and
applications can be played in 2D, and look better when played on the
Nintendo 3DS than any Nintendo handheld before it.

Motion Sensor and Gyro Sensor

Portable play control reaches a new level with the Nintendo 3DS' Motion
Sensor and Gyro Sensor combination. Together these precision built-in
features allow for new and unique gameplay mechanics as the 3DS reacts
to real-time motion and tilt. Whether players are twisting their systems
side to side, or moving it up and down, their motion-compatible
Nintendo 3DS games respond instantly.

Circle Pad Analog Control

With the Circle Pad, located above the + Control Pad, Nintendo 3DS
offers full analog control in 3D game worlds. Combined with the touch
screen, traditional buttons, camera and microphone input, and advanced
motion control of the Motion Sensor and Gyro Sensor, the potential is
extraordinary.

3D Camera Functionality

Along with a
digital camera facing inwards towards the player, the Nintendo 3DS
system features two outer cameras positioned along its upper edge when
device is open. These two cameras see the world in 3D, much like the
human eye, allowing for the creation of 3D photos - and a similar 3D
effect to that seen in Nintendo 3DS games. All cameras feature 640 x 480
resolutions with single focus lenses that use the CMOS capture element
and an active pixel count is approximately 300,000 pixels.

Adjustable Stylus

The adjustable Nintendo 3DS Stylus takes the idea of touch control to a
new and even more user-friendly level. Once removed from the holder,
the stylus length can be adjusted to your liking with a simple push or
pull. Now anyone can achieve the optimum level of comfort while playing
games that use the stylus.

Cradle Charging

Dock your
Nintendo 3DS system whenever you are not using it in the included
Charging Cradle to keep it powered. You can then leave the system on in
Sleep Mode while charging, so that it can communicate via the SpotPass
feature at any time of day or night.

Other Key Features

StreetPass

Social and wired like no Nintendo system before it, Nintendo 3DS brings
fellow players together in exciting new ways with StreetPass
communication. Set your Nintendo 3DS to Sleep Mode and carry it with you
wherever you go to exchange game data like Mii characters, high scores,
and custom characters with other users you pass on the street. You
control what data you exchange and you can exchange data for multiple
games at once, making virtual connections with real world people you
encounter in your daily life.

SpotPass

Nintendo 3DS
includes SpotPass, a feature that lets Nintendo 3DS detect wireless
hotspots or wireless LAN access points and obtain information, game
data, free software, videos and so on for players even when the system
is in sleep mode.*

2 GB SD Memory Card Included

Every
Nintendo 3DS system comes packed with a 2 GB SD memory card. You can use
this SD memory card to store your 3D photos, and sound recordings
created on the Nintendo 3DS system, and music** from your PC. You can
also use it to store games downloaded from the Nintendo eShop. The
Nintendo 3DS system has SDHC card compatibility to increase your storage
space even further.

Backwards Compatibility

Almost
all existing Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi games can be played on a
Nintendo 3DS system in 2D. With backwards compatibility, your existing
portable games look and play just as well.***

Wireless Communications

Nintendo 3DS utilizes a frequency of 2.4 GHz, enabling local wireless
communication among multiple Nintendo 3DS systems for game play and
StreetPass, as well as access to the Internet through wireless LAN
access points (supports IEEE802.11 b/g with the WPA/WPA2 security
feature). Recommended distance of wireless communication is within 98.4
feet. This can be shorter depending on the environmental situation.

What's In The Box

Nintendo 3DS system, Nintendo 3DS charging cradle, Nintendo 3DS AC
adapter, Nintendo 3DS stylus, SD Memory Card (2 GB), six AR card(s)
(view the cards using the outer cameras to play supported AR games),
Quick-Start Guide, Operations Manual (including warranty).

Product Description

The company that changed the world of video games with touch-screen
gaming in 2004 and motion-controlled gaming in 2006 now pioneers the
next dimensional shift. With the announcement of the Nintendo 3DS,
Nintendo introduces portable entertainment in 3D without the need for
special glasses. Nintendo 3DS includes two screens. The bottom touch
screen makes use of a telescoping stylus that is stored in the unit
itself. The top screen displays 3D visuals to the naked eye. The system
also has a 3D Depth Slider that lets players select the level of 3D they
enjoy the most. The 3D effect can be ratcheted up to the highest level,
scaled back to a more moderate setting or even turned off completely.
In addition to the familiar + Control Pad and button controls found on
previous Nintendo hand-helds, Nintendo 3DS now also includes a Circle
Pad, which provides a full 360 degrees of direction, giving it the
freedom and precision needed to play games in 3D worlds. A built-in
motion sensor and gyro sensor can react to the motion and tilt of the
system, so whether players are twisting their systems side to side or
moving them up and down, their motion-compatible Nintendo 3DS games
respond instantly. Each Nintendo 3DS system comes pre-loaded with a
variety of fun games, applications and features, such as Nintendo 3DS
Camera. One camera points at the user, while two additional cameras
point outward. These two outer cameras take photos in 3D. The fun,
built-in game "Face Raiders" asks users to shoot at funny depictions of
their own faces. Nintendo 3DS, when put into Sleep Mode, can act as a
pedometer, while letting users earn Play Coins for the steps they take
that can then be traded in for additional content in compatible games
and applications. By accessing the Activity Log, users can check their
steps as well as their play time. With Nintendo 3DS Sound, users can
enjoy sound-manipulation tools or rock out while listening to their MP3
or AAC music files.

LG Optimus V Prepaid Android Phone for Virgin Mobile (Wireless Phone Accessory)

I have never had a cell phone plan, and I don't plan on having one any
time soon. When I first started using cell phones, the curse of prepaid
services were the phones. Companies like Net10 had fantastic deals,
but the phones were always cheap and disposable, which of course is the
great part about prepaid service. I'm not stuck with a phone for two
years and if I need one, I'm not worrying about the price.

Another great part about prepaid service is that I will never have
to speak with a representative. Virgin Mobile is an easy set up and
upon start up, the phone was quick to activate and start my service.
This two reasons are high on my list for why prepaid trumps contract
phone plans.

When this phone was announced, I was a bit skeptical. I was worried
that it would be a watered down version of the LG Optimus S, but I am
happy to report that it is essentially the same device. The following
will mention the look, feel, and speed of the device.

The touch screen: Nimble! Going from screen to screen is fluid,
transitions are visible. For every single touch and swipe, the device
is right there with you. There is no lag to be found. However, there
are times when I'm playing Angry Birds, and there is considerable lag.
It usually happens for the first thirty seconds of the game.

Screen resolution: High quality but with the plastic front, it
cheapens the device. However, I am not complaining. Zooming in and out
on a webpage, you might notice that it's a little pixelated when you
get close to the text.

3G capabilities: Testing this against my friend's iPhone, it's very
fast. I was incredibly surprised by the responsiveness and how quick I
could go from webpage to webpage. But, I will say that there are times
there is absolutely no service. After looking through forums, one easy
way to fix this is by activating the phone again. I did this once, and
it helped tremendously.

App store: Although it's not as big as Apple's app store, it has
everything one would need. The great thing about Android is that if
there's something you don't like, you can change it. Widgets are
absolutely one of the best features about Android's app store. You can
even change the web browser if you don't like it!

This phone does not support Flash, so don't be disappointed.

Navigation: A dream. It works better than my Garmin, the voice is
loud and concise. I will say that after plugging it into my auxillary
connector that it does sound a little muffled. But I'm not disappointed
at all. The maps are amazing. There was one time the directions were a
little funky and another that it was taking a while to acquire
satellite.

Camera quality: I have to say, the quality of the camera is amazing.
With auto focus, it's great. And with the camera apps, you can create
some great effects.

Overall, this phone is a great value. I talk a lot, so I use the
unlimited everything plan for $60.00. It's not a bad deal considering I
would be paying well over $100.00 anywhere else.

There are a lot of other prepaid services you might want to consider
if you want to go prepaid. If you aren't someone who talks a lot and
just need a phone, Net10 is the perfect service. But if you do talk a
lot and browse the internet, then services like Boost Mobile, AT&T
GoPhone, Straight Talk, and Virgin Mobile are great alternatives to the
high cost of contracts.

The problem with prepaid still? The phones need a lot of work, but
this is the first I've seen to make a huge step toward a great future
with prepaid service.

I love this phone. It has efficiently replaced my iPod and GPS
Navigator. Put in a 16gb micro sd card, and you're set. Apps like
Double Twist make music listening a great experience (and for $4.99, you
can sync your music wirelessly, listen to radio stations, AND podcasts)

If your car as an auxillary connector or even a tape adapter,
connect your phone, and you can listen to Navigation WHILE listening to
music. I know it's a weird thing to obsess about, but I always thought
it was one or the other. Directions are precise, so I'm not constantly
looking at my phone wondering where I am.

Streaming on Pandora and NPR is great. However, after a few hours,
it completely stops and you have to get back into the app. It's not
terrible, but I like to listen while I'm at work.

The Android App Market has everything you're looking for as long as
you know how to search. I would recommend joining forums, because
that's how I found out about different apps. One I love in particular
is the WiFi Hotspot widget. With a simple click, you can connect your
laptop and computer to the phone's 3g network. Other apps like Car Home
allow you to travel and easily find navigation, music, and manage what
apps you need on the go.

Depending on where I am, Youtube can lag a little. I expected this.
But for the price and the fact that I have completely replaced a few
gadgets I own, this is totally worth it.

2010 was supposed to be the Year of the Tablet.
That did not really happen — the flood of product was reduced to a
trickle, as many manufacturers awaited a more tablet-friendly operating
system from Google. So, once more, with feeling: 2011 will be the Year
of the Tablet. Several new models have either been released, or are in a
very advanced state of preview. This interactive guide can help sort
through the latest offerings. Use the checkbox at the top of each
listing to select it for comparison. And check back frequently — this
page will be updated as new information or models are released.

Apple introduced the second version of its iPad on March 2. The
newer version is slimmer, lighter and has both front and rear-facing
cameras. The devices can be bought to operate on either AT&T or
Verizon's 3G networks. Competitors are cropping up with increasing
frequency, but the iPad remains the dominant tablet on the market.
Motorola introduced its tablet, the Xoom, at the 2011 Consumer
Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The tablet is the first to run the newest
version of Google's Android operating system, known as Honeycomb. It
was named the best gadget by the show's official awards. Motorola said
that the tablet will be available in the first quarter of 2011, but has
not given any details about its cost.
Refusing to cede tablet ground to the likes of Apple, Google and
Microsoft, smartphone maker Research In Motion has been developing the
PlayBook, part of its BlackBerry line of devices. The PlayBook will be

The Galaxy Tab from Samsung is one of the few real competitors to
Apple’s iPad. Available through all four major cellphone carriers, the
Galaxy runs on Google’s Android 2.2 operating system, which means it
comes with some features — turn-by-turn navigation, voice dictation,
Flash support — that either cost extra on the iPad or are not available
at all. Prices vary depending on the carrier, but expect to pay between
$400 and $600. The original tablet had a 7-inch screen, but Samsung has
since introduced versions with 8.9 and 10.1-inch screens as well.
Pelican Imaging's "array camera" will mean thiner devices, and new imaging tricks.

The next generation of smartphone cameras might actually be 25 cameras rolled into one. A company called Pelican Imaging
recently announced it had developed the first prototype "array camera"
for mobile devices. Instead of using one lens, Pelican uses an array of
multiple lenses; it combines all the data from these multiple viewpoints
and then builds a single high-quality image.

Since it uses software to
process the image, this is sometimes called "computational imaging."

Why does the invention matter? Here's one very simple reason: it
could cut down on the width of your iPhone 7, say, or other smartphone
of the future. More intriguingly, though, the computational approach
allows all sorts of interesting manipulations. It enables "foveal imaging,"
for one, a type of focus that more closely mimics how the eye actually
sees. And it could even give you the ability to alter the focus of an
image after the image has been taken.

(Outlets from CNET to Engadget have been drooling over that one, in particular.)

Pelican Imaging was founded in 2008
and has received $17 million in venture funding to date from investors
like Globespan Capital Partners, Granite Ventures, InterWest Partners,
and IQT, according
to CrunchBase. And it has a truly stellar supporting cast, in the form
of three recently-announced members of its technical advisory board.
Marc Levoy, a computer science professor at Stanford, co-designed the
Google book scanner and helped launch Google Street View;

Shree Nayar of
Columbia co-directs that university's Vision and Graphics Center and
its Computer Vision Laboratory; Bedabrata Pain, CEO of technology
consulting firm Edict Inc., co-invented active pixel sensor technology
that helped inspire today's mobile phone cameras.

For Levoy, Pelican's prototype is exciting because it miniaturizes a
type of technology already proven on the larger scale: "We have been
investigating these aspects of computational photography in our
laboratory at Stanford for a number of years, through the Stanford
Multi-Camera Array, which is big, slow and expensive," he said
in a release. "Pelican's solution is small, fast and inexpensive -
which makes it a very exciting technology." Nayar goes so far as to call
Pelican's technology a "paradigm shift in imaging and video" likely to
"bring computational imaging applications to the mass market."

But it's not just people on Pelican's payroll who are shilling for
the novel protoype. Om Malik at GigaOm thinks that the new array camera
helps explode what he calls
"the megapixel myth"--the notion that "the more megapixels we have on
our mobile phone camera, the Pelican 1510-004-110 Medium Carry-On Case with Padded Dividersbetter our photos will be." A higher number
of smaller lenses may be the real path forward--making Pelican's new
camera more than the sum of its parts.

One of the world's first 4G LTE Android smartphones, the HTC ThunderBolt 4G for Verizon Wireless takes advantage of the fastest, most
advanced 4G network in America. It's powered by a lightning-quick 1 GHz
Snapdragon processor and offers a vibrantly colorful 4.3-inch Super LCD
multi-touch display. Capture brilliant photos and HD 720p video with
the 8-megapixel camera on the rear, and enjoy video call capabilities
with the front-facing camera. And with the Android 2.2 OS, you'll be
able to experience the full Internet thanks to its support for Adobe
Flash 10.1--enabling you to play games, watch videos, and more.
The
Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network provides speeds up to
10 times faster than Verizon Wireless' 3G network. With 4G LTE, you'll
enjoy simultaneous voice and data capabilities, allowing you to check
e-mail, browse the web, download an app, and check directions on Google
Maps while on a call. Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network
currently reaches one-third of all Americans, with plans to expand the
network to the company's entire 3G coverage area over the next three
years.

access to the popular Google mobile services millions use every day,
including Google Search by voice, Google Maps with Street View, GTalk
instant messaging (with presence capabilities), YouTube, and Picasa. The
ThunderBolt 4G also provides easy access to both personal and corporate
e-mail, calendars, and contacts supported by Exchange Server and Gmail.
And through Android Market, you'll get access to thousands of useful
applications, widgets, and fun games to download and install on your
phone, with many more apps being added every day.

the next generation of the popular HTC Sense mobile experience, the HTC
ThunderBolt 4G automatically delivers your most-wanted information to
your screen. It offers even more ways to stay connected--including
FriendStream, which delivers Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr updates in a
consolidated view. And you'll be able to pinpoint the location of a lost
phone on a map, send a command to make the phone sound an alert--even
while on "silent" mode--through the htcsense.com web site. If needed,
you can also remotely wipe all of the phone's data with a single command
in addition to forwarding calls and text messages to a different
number.
Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network

The
Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network allows you to download photos, apps,
and games in seconds and entire movies in minutes. LTE (or Long Term
Evolution provides significantly increased upload and download speeds
over 3G networks, as well as significantly reduced latency (or lag
time). Verizon Wireless expects 4G LTE average data rates to be 5-12
megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2-5 Mbps on the uplink in
real-world, loaded network environments.
With these blazing fast
speeds, you'll be able to stream HD movies without the annoyance of
constant pauses to buffer the video stream--as well as quickly download
HD-quality movies right to your phone in minutes. Additionally, you'll
be able to download a new song file in about 4 seconds or upload a photo
to your favorite social networking site in about 6 seconds.
And
with video chat capabilities via the 4G LTE network, you'll see callers
face-to-face while you're on the go. In addition to chatting with other
compatible smartphones, you'll be able to video conference to users on
PCs.
The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE mobile broadband network will
also redefine the mobile office for business users. Business
applications that used to require wired networks will be untethered
forever, allowing you maximized productivity and efficiency while you're
out of the confines of your office. Enhanced security lets you tap into
most VPN networks with less waiting, and faster responsiveness enables
you to upload 10 MB presentations back to your team in less than 25
seconds.

IPad 2, Tablets Will Wound, but Not Kill Laptops: 10 Reasons Why

Apple's iPad 2 has been an absolute retail success. The device is still extremely difficult to find on store shelves, and those who order it online still need to wait weeks for it to arrive on their doorstep. That success, combined with the sheer number of tablets expected to launch this year, has just about every analyst saying that the tablet market is poised for a sales explosion. And over the next several years, consumers will continue to jump at the chance to buy an iPad or similar device.

That success has caused some to speculate about the future of notebooks. Traditionally, notebooks have been the mobile companions for consumers and enterprise customers alike. In addition, their sales history has proved that the market is keen on those products. But a new report from AppleInsider, which cited "supply chain" sources, reveals that demand for PCs is rather "weak" right now. And the publication's sources say that it could be due to the sheer number of people opting for tablets.

It's an interesting report, and on one hand, it might make some wonder if the notebook's days are numbered. However, laptops are here to stay. While devices like the iPad 2 are undoubtedly hurting notebook sales, these mobile devices won't eliminate their chief competitor.

Here are the reasons why:

1. The enterprise

Although an increasing number of companies are warming to the idea of bringing the iPad 2 or another tablet into their corporate networks, the vast majority of companies realize that notebooks are still relevant and necessary. Employees must be able to have access to Microsoft Windows when they're away from the office. And they also need to be productive. Tablets don't afford those opportunities in any sufficient way right now. Until they do, the corporate world alone will be keeping notebooks afloat.

2. It's too hard to type

One of the biggest drawbacks with tablets is that they don't make it easy for users to type. The iPad 2's virtual keyboard is arguably the best on the market, but it still can't compare to an old-fashioned physical keyboard. Yes, consumers can buy a separate keyboard access for the iPad 2, but it's not ideal. Having a physical keyboard built-in is another reason notebooks continue to be relevant.

3. The operating system isn't powerful enough

As nice as iOS is, it can't compare to Windows or Mac OS X. It simply doesn't have the kind of firepower that customers are after. Mobile operating systems are built to be lightweight and capable of engaging in simple tasks—like email, surfing the Web and watching video—as efficiently as possible. The operating systems lack worthwhile file systems, a more robust interface and all the other things that people will find in the operating systems running on notebooks.

4. Windows is still important

Following that, it's important to keep in mind that Microsoft's Windows platform is still important in today's tech industry. Microsoft's operating system is running on the vast majority of computers around the world. It's a platform that people are comfortable using. Perhaps most importantly, it's the operating system most folks use every day at work. Until Windows somehow loses a significant portion of the OS market, notebooks will be here to stay.

5. Notebook prices are coming down

No matter the budget, consumers and enterprise customers can go out right now and find a suitable notebook for a fine price. Dozens of notebooks are available on the Web for as little as $500 for a solid option and even less for more outdated products. That's an outstanding value, considering the cheapest iPad 2 starts at $499. When it comes to customers evaluating how far their dollars can go with either a tablet or notebook, it might be hard for them to choose the former. At this point, notebooks are the value kings.

6. The market for productivity

In the enterprise, much of the focus for IT staffs is productivity. They constantly evaluate how much they can get out of employees with the technology they have in place. One of the biggest issues with devices like the iPad 2 is that they can be productivity drains. People are using them to watch Netflix content, listen to music and play games through the App Store. Moreover, usage on a tablet is a bit more difficult to track. Yes, all those nonproductive exploits can be engaged in on a notebook, but companies can do a better job of modifying actions on a notebook than they can a tablet. And they're fully aware of that fact.

7. Apple isn't universally beloved

As nice as the iPad 2 might be, to say that a single device will ever be able to kill off an entire category of products is ludicrous. Apple is not universally beloved by the market. In fact, there are many folks out there who are decidedly anti-Apple. So, although the iPad 2 is hurting notebook sales on its own, the chances of it actually killing off notebooks are nil.

8. Tablets themselves aren't universally beloved either

The same can be said for the tablet market as a whole. When sales figures emerge and iPad 2 units aren't on store shelves, it's easy for some folks to think that tablets are catching on with everyone. But they're not. In fact, there are millions around the globe who have tried tablets out and determined they weren't for them. And for the most part, those people who don't want tablets are turning to notebooks to satisfy their mobile needs.

9. The market is too big

According to market research firm IDC, more than 93 million PCs shipped around the world during the fourth quarter of 2010, alone. That figure, which included desktops, mobile PCs and mininotebooks (but not tablets), easily bested the 15 million iPad units Apple sold last year. It also easily bests Gartner's estimate from last year, saying that nearly 55 million tablets will ship in 2011. Although notebooks didn't account for all 93 million PCs shipped in the fourth quarter, it made up a sizable chunk of it. And that was just one quarter. To kill off notebooks would be a feat unlike anything ever witnessed in the mobile-productivity space.

10. Power, power, power

As mentioned, the operating systems available on tablets are not as powerful as they could be. But it's not just that. Tablets themselves lack the power that notebooks offer. Devices like Apple's MacBook Pro are suitable for resource-intensive tasks, like editing video and even high-end gaming. The iPad 2 can perform those activities on a much simpler level. Serious users who need a high-end processor, ample RAM and a big hard drive won't find those in a tablet. And until that changes, notebooks will be here to stay.

source : www.eweek.com

Iphone 4 for CDMA not able to hold popularity android

Washington - The presence of the iPhone 4 versions of CDMA are well received by consumers in the United States market. Smartphones are marketed operator Verizon Wireless is raising the sales of the iPhone 4, but can not stem the breakthrough smartphone based on Android.

Xbox 360 also offers special access to the third party services like Netflix streaming media in the United States or Sky TV in Britain.

Xbox 360 officially launched on MTV on May 12, 2005, with detailed launch and game information was revealed later that month at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The console sold out completely for release in all regions, except in Japan, and in January 2010, there were more than 39 million Xbox 360 consoles worldwide. Xbox 360 is currently available in two configurations-the "Shopping" and "Elite"-each with its own choice of accessories.

Development

Known during development as Xenon, Xbox 2, Xbox FS, Xbox Next, or NextBox, Xbox 360 was conceived in early 2003. In February 2003, planning for the Xenon software platform began, and headed by Microsoft vice president J Allard. That month, Microsoft held an event for 400 developers in Bellevue, Washington to recruit support for the system. Also that month, Peter Moore, former president of Sega of America, joined Microsoft. On August 12, 2003, ATI signed on to produce the graphic processing unit for the new console, a deal that was announced two days later. Before the launch of Xbox 360, several alpha development kits that look using Apple's Power Mac G5 hardware. This is due to Power system PC 970 processor running the same PowerPC architecture that the Xbox 360 would eventually run under IBM 's Xenonprosesor. The core of the Xenon processor was developed by using a slightly-modified version of the PlayStation 3's Cell processor architecture PPE. According to David Shippy and Mickie Phipps, of IBM employees who "hide their work from Sony and Toshiba."

Specification

Let's quickly go into the guts of the Xbox 360 console. In the 360, you'll find three custom IBM-designed PowerPC-based symmetric processor cores running at 3.2GHz.Unit graphics processor is specially designed unit designed by ATI running at 500MHz. Microsoft claims that Xbox 360 can process more than four times the number of polygons as the original Xbox console. You'll also find 48 parallel shader pipelines in the GPU ATI. The console itself is using shared memory architecture that is built around 512MB of GDDR3 RAM.

When we talk about Xbox 360, we'll talk about High Definition (HD). Because all games are designed for the Xbox360 is required to be developed for the resolution of 720p and 1080i. They are also optimized to display the 16:9 widescreen format. This does not mean that you really need an HDTV to run the Xbox 360, although games and multimedia you will look much better if you have an HDTV it.

The console has three USB ports that are designed to allow you to easily connect the various accessories and devices including portable music player. This includes the Apple iPod and Sony PSP - well at least until the company decides not to make devices compatible with the 360. What does this mean - you can stream music and photos from this ware portable directly into your 360 via USB port.

Xbox 360 Package

Initially, the Xbox 360 will come in two different packages - the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Core System. Core systems are exactly that - what you need at a minimum to enjoy the Xbox 360 console (or so they say!). These include:

· Console

· Wired Controller

· Composite AV Cable

Xbox 360 package (otherwise known as a premium package by some) comes with:

· Console with Chrome Finish

· Hard Drive

· Wireless Controller

· Xbox Live headset

· Component HD AV Cable

· Ethernet cable

Which plan should you buy? If you do the math on the cost of additional components, then the Xbox 360 package is a winner. If you even want to even consider playing one of the original Xbox game, you'll need a hard disk which means you might as well go for the Xbox 360 package. I can see the core system to be one option if you want a second or third home systems 360 to the network environment or to stream content from one room to another.

Dashboard

Dashboard interface has been completely redesigned for the Xbox 360. Now use a vertical tabbed interface that you can flip through using the controller's joystick button or the remote navigation buttons. Microsoft has often been criticized for their poor user interface design but the Xbox 360 UI a step ahead of the rest. Tab is intuitive and easy to navigate. The options are clear and easy to read - especially on wide-screen display for the Xbox 360 was designed for.

Based on a pre-production Nikon D3100

Nikon has developed a habit of making very attractive entry-level DSLRs, which are rarely the best specified but cleverly designed so that they're easy and enjoyable to shoot with. The D3000 fitted this pattern perfectly, a gentle refresh of the D60 (which was itself a slightly updated D40X), it added ease-of-use features to make it a pleasant little camera despite a specification that was beginning to look rather out-of-step with the rest of the market.

The D3000 sold well, despite its rather aged 10 megapixel sensor and lack of both live view and video. However, there's only so long that clever product design and feature integration can make up for a specification that looks dated. So with this in mind, Nikon has announced the D3100 - probably the biggest refresh of its entry-level offering since it really attacked the low end market with the original D40.

The D3100 is built around a 14.2 megapixel CMOS sensor (possibly the one seen in Sony's NEX cameras?), bringing not only live view but also Full HD video capture to Nikon's entry-level model. This not only makes it the company's second-highest pixel-count SLR (after the D3X) but also makes it the first to offer 1920x1080 movie recording. It can only record clips up to ten minutes long but it's still an impressive feature addition at this level.

The body gets a slight refresh, gaining an extra button to the left of the screen, a drive mode switch at the base of the mode dial, a sprung lever to engage live view and a direct record movie button. There are also revisions made to the feature-teaching, hand-holding 'Guide Mode' and an additional autofocus mode to allow better focusing in live view and autofocus during video shooting.

Nikon D3100 Key Features

14.2 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor

3.0" LCD monitor (230,000 dots)

Image sensor cleaning (sensor shake)

11 AF points (with 3D tracking)

IS0 100-3200 range (12,800 expanded)

HD movies (1080, 720p or WVGA)

7040 is a compact and affordable, monochrome digital copier and laser printer, ideal for small offices or home offices. It combines crisp, high-quality laser copying, printing and color scanning into a compact footprint, with print and copy speeds of up to 23 pages per minute. Additional features include a 35-page automatic document feeder for multi-page documents, a 250-sheet adjustable letter/legal size paper tray and a single-sheet by-pass tray, ideal for letterhead, envelopes and thicker media. For connectivity, the DCP-7040 also includes a USB interface.

this printer is working fine . Everything is intuitive setup, operation etc. The only thing I don't like about it is the scanning capability. It has some adjustments in the software but it always seems to come out over-contrasted no matter how you fiddle with the settings. Other than that I would recommend this printer to anyone. BTW, if you are using this on a network you'll have to get a USB print server, it doesn't have a built in network card, which is why it's cheaper.
You Need A Portable Data Logger

Love techy gadgets? How about a watch that can locate places with the touch of a button, record the GPS data of your trip with its built in data logger, which records not only location, but speed and altitude too. Sound amazing? This watch exists and will also tag photos and log your location, so friends can then view your paths on Google Maps or Google Earth. All this and the time of day. It's like having a "black box" strapped to your wrist. And this will help finally help you achieve that coveted "Superhero of Cyberspace" status you've been dreaming about.
A data logger is used in a variety of applications such as drive-time vehicle monitoring, environmental monitoring, structural health monitoring, and machine condition monitoring. This is usually a stand-alone device that requires a data acquisition system as a connection to a computer to acquire data. The stand-alone aspect of a logging device means that it has its own memory that is used to store any acquired data. This memory can be very large to accommodate many days, or even months, of unattended recording. In these cases, they typically feature a time and date recording aspect to ensure that each recorded value is associated with a date and time of acquisition.
If you're the town weatherman, a hand-held data logger is practically a necessity. Think of all the temperature or humidity readings you can capture from the palm of your hand. Device capabilities are so far advanced that thinking for ourselves is almost out of style. And these handy little gadgets don't even need us anymore. Environmental monitoring companies utilize them for long periods in harsh or remote locations with little or no human supervision. In these types of situations, it is imperative that they will not fail to log data for any reason. And they won't. Unlike computers, a data logging device is not afflicted with problems that might affect a computer in the same situation. A computer crash could ruin an entire experiment. The capability of these techy gadgets is constantly advancing as well. Use them to update your website on the weather. Kids have a science experiment? They will be the most popular kid in their class for life if you let them use your toy. Paranoid of "the big one?" Your trusty data logger can send you an email with any seismic activity in the area. You just might save the day!

It comes with 2 sets of Cases and Screen protectors. The case is very soft and fits perfectly to my Ipod Touch 4, it protects the device very well, and to keeps you off the scratches from the Hard case. (the hard cases normally scratch your device easily)

The screen protector also fit nicely. However you'll notice some scratches on the surface of the protector after several days usage. What a big deal for it, it did its job to protect your device, and the minor scratches will be disappeared when you turned on your device. Don't worry about it, for such the low price, I wouldn't say anything against it. Don't spend $15 or even more on the screen protector. You won't regret to buy this combo deal.

you can buy this case ipod with this link.
