Just a reminder that the Big Table will be open for brunch and lunch this Sunday from 11 -2 . The third Sunday of the month is coming up and we are preparing for our Brunch. We will be serving top round of beef with a little German Chocolate Cake ( My favorite and its my birthday) Also there will be our famous egg fritata, biscuits and gravy and all the trimmings. Looking at a beautiful week this week. Need to enjoy it with your favorite people having a nice lunch at the Big Table. Enjoying a fresh casserole of the day tetrazzini and beef stroganoff or keep it simple with a half and half . A little corn chowder or white bean 'n chicken with our famous Big table salad. ( A mix baby green salad covered with strawberries, pears , feta and toasted walnuts........) Then there is always a nice quite dinner of Crab cakes, Fillet of beef or a Pork Schnitzel followed with a luscious piece of Chocolate chess pie or better yet a piece of coconut cream pie. Big Table come see us for your Valentine treat........

Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice Soup today to sooth the soul on such a rainy day. Or maybe you would like to kick it up a notch with a spicy vegetarian black bean soup. Either will comfort you on such a miserable day. Our casseroles are the popular Chicken Tetrazini and and a really nice Chicken Divan. Sandwiches for the day are the chicken salad, Reuben, Club wrap and roast chicken. But if you can t make lunch David is serving fresh Salmon this week and a really nice pan seared filet with balsamic mushrooms. Be sure to get by and see us here at The Big Table. What a nasty day outside ..good for hot soup and baking. Made a Creamy Tomato soup today and White bean and ham for the hearty. Baked a pineapple upside down cake for the first time. It is like candy...I love a good pineapple. Also made a coconut cream pie because it seems to becoming the pie of choice these days. How bout a nice warm bowl of soup and a sweet piece of pie @ The Big Table. See you there!

GOOOOOD MORNING CHATTANOOGA!!!!!!!!

The Big Table is hosting their Sunday Brunch today from 11 -2.
Need to get by and enjoy all your favorites. Dave's famous biscuits and gravy, French Toast, Apple wood Bacon, Hash brown Casserole, Grilled Asparagus, Ham and Cheese Omelets, Egg Fritata, and Garlic Roasted Pork Tenderloin. We are also serving our daily lunch menu. I hope that you will come by and enjoy. It has been a good week back and thanks to all our customers that have come by.

As we are preparing for the snow???? Come and get a nice pot of homemade vegetable soup to get snowed in with. Made some Poppy Seed Chicken today with a nice mushroom Marsala sauce. Not sure whats next on my agenda but I am sure it will involve cooking up something. Big Table is Host the Sunday Brunch This Sunday the 15th 11 - 2. Looking forward to biscuits and gravy, egg fritata and a Roast Pork tenderloin.. so i will be making Cuban sandwiches as well . Oh don't for get the Big table banana pudding...yummmmmmmm

The Big Table is back and had a great first day. Been backing up a storm today, Carrot Cake, Key lime pie, and Chocolate chess. Made a few really good casseroles, Spinach and Sun dried tomato, and Beef pot pie. David is bringing back the fillet this week. Made everyone's favorite yesterday apple pear chutney to go on the Pane or a grilled pork chop. You need to come by the Big Table and enjoy some favorite foods and company.
Hosting the Big Table Brunch on Sunday the 15th, open from 11-2.

Jumping to New Year

We are open for lunch and dinner today and the rest of the week. Made a creamy pot of potato soup today and the Black bean and chicken is another house favorite. Trying to mix things up a bit with a little Mexican Lasagna and our regular Chicken tettrazini. David is already in the kitchen working on dinner and planning a wonderful meal for New Years Eve. Come by and see us where the soup is always fresh and Hot. The Crab cakes are being made daily and the New York Strip steak is grilled to perfection.

In cooking, some days you have the feel and some days ....well. But to day I am feeling it. Made a beautiful shrimp chowder for lunch along with a three bean and ham soup. The casserole today is a "Cordon Bleu" which is a glorified macaroni and cheese with ham and the cheesiest cream sauce ever. I hope that you can come by and enjoy some of this loveliness. Last week was full of holiday parties that were all very successful and scrumptious. Thanks to all for the support especially Sphere one for all the repeat business. This week will be filled with orders for Christmas dinner items and a few deliveries. If you need a casserole or a pie get your order in by Wed. and we will be glad to have it freshly prepared for pick up on Friday. Our Holiday schedule is, closed Dec.24 thru Dec.26th . We will reopen on Wed. Dec. 27th for regular hours. We will be open for New years eve, serving dinner specials until 9. be sure to come by and see us here at The Big Table.

The Holidays are here and we are hosting our third Christmas party tonight @ The Big Table Too. Just made a coconut cream pie for the occasion and David has fresh crab cakes on the menu with a Pan seared Rib eye all complimented by his blue cheese mash potatoes and a wonderful vegetable saute.
