Sarah for you non-fans is the wife of the head pastor in a cultish, anti-vampire church known as The Fellowship of The Sun. She is about as vanilla as you get and when it comes to her husband, as with most super positive, flawless people, things aren’t always as they appear. She may be cute and bubbly but she will stake a vampire without hesitation. Her husband’s a douchebag but they complement each other perfectly.

The reason why this show is so hot is not so much the blood sucking but for the characters involved, some of them being quite a treat on the eyes. True Blood offers up more than Vamps as you will see Shifters, Werewolves, Were-panthers and even some Greek Mythological creatures tossed in.

Here I thought that Gangs started in prison, the streets and other places of harsh realities. Who would’ve thought that sending your kid to a University may get him beaten, branded and raped (allegedly)!?

I have never understood fraternities, while in the business world and life their members may tout all the wonderful things they do in society, the kids in the University system paint a very different picture. When I was in school all I saw of Fraternities was a collective of guys throwing signs, stomping around, barking and being drunkenly obnoxious. The Sororities weren’t much different as more than a few women that “crossed the line” turned into completely different creatures after donning the mantle. It’s obviously a form of tribal fellowship that isn’t meant to be understood by us outsiders. I get that, which is why I have always reserved judgment on their practices, it’s their thing.

On another site a brave individual did an article on the parallel between Gangs and Fraternities and it turned into an angry mob within the comments as members of Frats came in to defend their honor. The explanations of Frat activity was in the tune of community service, a big brother system and self esteem. People like me who have dealt with them externally tried to keep them honest with flashbacks of the buffoonry and assholery we were subjected to from their chapters within college. There seems to be a serious disconnect between College frat boy and Professional frat boy. Something leads me to believe its just short memory.

Recently the University of South Florida became another in the long line of Universities to be embarrassed by Fraternity hazing rituals. Interestingly enough, the organization (Omega Psi Phi) a black Fraternity, took it outside of campus to allow non USF Omega’s to assist in this abortion. The school has suspended the Fraternity but it is a mere Band-Aid to an issue that has been going on too long – Hazing.

They did it to me so I’m gonna do it too!

Let’s be honest here, there is no real reason for Hazing outside of “it was done to me so I have to do it to someone else”. Humiliating someone is one thing, it can be looked back on and laughed at with your new “brothers”, but when you’re forcing objects up someone’s ass, damn near raping them with a paddle or beating them down gang style then how is that creating a brother out of an individual? Sounds to me like that’s making someone into your prison bitch. Is this the type of thing that parents look forward to when they rush their children off to college?

To this, the only gripe I had with the article which compared these people to Gangs was the fact that gangs actually allow you to fight back (gasp the thought!) Yes, you are beat into a gang but holding out earns you respect, shit even the military hazing allows you to fight back without penalty. How is bending over and “taking it” (for up to four months) while some dude beats you to an inch within your life comparative to a gang “beat in” or “sex in” (some women get into gangs via this method)? It doesn’t compare, Frat boys aren’t Gangsters.

USF’s Omega Psi Phi – A microcosm of a larger issue?

“A lot of African-American fraternities have an issue with physical hazing” – Lawrence Ross Jr.

These guys brand their future members, beat the shit out of them and all for what? The freshman groupie sex, alcohol and perks later on in life from people with the same brand and scars? I’m sorry but somehow I can’t get behind it, it just seems like punk behavior for a garbage excuse. If you want a ride-or-die clique, earn one the old fashioned way or join a gang. If you go to a College and find yourself sore in the booty, swollen and branded like a slave cow – barking then you only have yourself to blame in this light. Hazing isn’t cool people, cut it out.

I don’t mean this as a slight to people who organize out of tradition and influence, but for those who aim to hurt others under the protection of a Greek letter and his/her fellow cowards with a faux Gang mentality. Do better people.

Rapper Clifford “T.I.” Harris was arrested Wednesday along with his wife Timika “Tiny” Cottle on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines. The couple was driving down the streets of Hollywood California when the police pulled them over after the smell of marijuana came from their rental. I have to say that this does not look good coming on the heels of the multiplatinum star being on three year probation after being released from a seven month jail stint for illegal firearms possession by a convicted felon. In his short come back since leaving the halfway house in March, T.I. managed to marry his longtime girlfriend, complete King Uncaged (the latest addition to his discography), and star in and executive produce the box office smash, Takers. Now he is possibly facing a multiple year jail sentence if convicted.

One has to wonder if T.I. learned from his mistakes in dealings with the law in the past. If the tour to various schools speaking to hundreds of kids about the importance of education and saying “no” to drugs and alcohol was just an angle to lessen the prison term. If the MTV reality show, “T.I.’s Road to Redemption” where he had cameras follow him as he inspired young kids to stay off the streets was just a ploy to make a little extra money for Tiny to spend on the kids while he was locked up. This recent stint with the law could possibly end his career as a rapper and actor as the terms of his parole may have very well been violated – he was ordered not to commit another crime (FAIL!), not to possess illegal controlled substances (FAIL!), and to actively participate in a drug and alcohol treatment program (FAIL!). Nobody is big on listening to a 30-something rapper make his big comeback, and let’s face it, Hollywood does not like to rub elbows with those rowdy rapper-turned-actors, especially ones with illegal gun convictions under their belts.

What may be interesting to see in this situation is how the celebrity thing will tie into it. How will T.I.’s outcome differ from Paris Hilton’s latest brush with the law? The previous charges for both celebrities are definitely not similar, but the fact remains that both have priors and both were initially stopped by the police for the smell of weed coming from their cars. Nonetheless, it appears that the consensus on the web from the fans of the rapper is much disappointment. It seems that they truly believed his life was turned around a lot of young people looked up to him as a role model. But not even six months back in the game, he may have very well derailed his new direction of getting to the top to stay.

Before I begin, let’s review the definition of two terms I have been toying with, just to be sure I am choosing the most appropriate one to capture the analysis of some “explanations” I have had to respond to over time. So keep in mind the following definitions, and just to let you know, I have decided to go with “Creative Thinking” as the reason grown-ups say the darnedest things!

Critical Thinking: The mental process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information to reach an answer or conclusion.

Creative Thinking: The ability to create.

Now, I was intrigued that 20 words were used to define “critical thinking”, not once repeating the word “critical”. Yet creative thinking called for economy of words (4 to be exact), and included the verb of the word in question “creative”.

The interesting thing is that one of the most distinct differences between man and animal is our intellectual ability. As humans we have the ability to think critically, think creatively, reason, negotiate, assess, analyze, and make decisions. No matter what tricks you teach your pets, your Macaw can say “Hello”, and the dog will fetch your paper, you will never be able to have a dialogue with these creatures. You will get no verbal response to your question “why?”

Over the years I have heard some creative “reasons” for why; and many of you who supervise, teach or parent others will also have a litany of creative excuses for tardiness, absence, and lack of productivity, or willful disobedience. In fact, many of us have spun a few ourselves! Yes, we have all had situations that demanded immediate responses, and chances are we did not respond appropriately each time.

So my sharing of the following excuses (made by adults) in different settings should not seem so far-fetched. You should draw your own conclusions and your own interpretation as you examine each scenario.

Scenario excuse #1:

“2 weeks ago I pulled an all-nighter completing my sales report and spilled coffee on my laptop!! Mac repair shop just contacted me and informed me the damage was “catastrophic”! They informed me I have lost all files and it would be more cost effective to purchase another laptop. I cannot access anything on that laptop including my report that is now due!”

Scenario excuse #2:

I am late for work because last night I went to the casino and lost the last $50.00 I had. When I woke up this morning, I realize I did not have any gas and I had to borrow some cash from my aunt who lives 45 minutes away.

And this one takes the cake!

“Even though the assignment was late, can’t really remember why, I feel I should get some credit for completing it. I still put in the work.”

Folks, stop insulting my intelligence. these ludicrous excuses are not cute. Be a critical thinker and take freaking responsibility!! Mediocrity is not acceptable. Make success a habit.

What was the last creative excuse you used or heard?

Known by some as Joe Bananas (A name he abhorred based on the connotation that he was crazy), Giuseppe “Joseph” Bonanno saw over 95 years on this earth while living a life of crime and privilege. If that isn’t amazing enough, you could factor in his survival within the American Mafia and seeing it change three times over. From being raised within the principles of Castellamarese’ men of honor, to being the youngest of the five bosses on The Commission, boss Joe was respected by gangsters and lawmakers alike. Hailing from Castellammare del Golfo, Joe Bonanno and family first immigrated to Brooklyn, New York when he was 3 years old and then again at 20 after both his parents died (His father was an important mafia leader in Sicily).

When Joe came to America, he was tutored by the infamous gangster Salvatore Maranzano. Don Maranzano was a man with qualities that Joe admired and eventually took on himself, qualities such as education, keeping a guise of royalty and sticking to a type of philosophy that bordered on ruthlessness and admiration all in the same breath. Maranzano showed Bonanno how to earn, how to profit and even how to kill. Bonanno became Maranzano’s bodyguard, his student and his friend, an honor which placed him in the middle of one of the mafia’s bloodiest battles…

The Castellammarese War

In the late 1920′s Joe Bonanno like most young gangsters was bootlegging liquor. The money from illegal liquor was so much that Dons became millionaires overnight and of course it meant blood feuds for rival families. One such feud was between Joe “the boss” Masseria and Salvatore Maranzano. Both old men of the old mafia ways who had carved out a path to money and power in America through gambling, racketeering and now the bootleg markets. When the war between the Masseria and Maranzano factions began in New York City, it quickly spread and involved all the major cities in the United States. Joe was a soldier for Maranzano during this war and the feud continued until a wildcard known as Charles “Lucky” Luciano presented itself – but that is another story.

Youngest Boss of The Commission

When Maranzano was eventually murdered, Luciano opted out of the role of “boss of all bosses” and established The Commission. It was to be a council of five to decide on mafia principles, executions and judgments. The five bosses who ran it would be the supreme justice of organized crime and would be the deciding factor in anything major within the families. The men elected to these seats were Charles “Lucky” Luciano, Joe Bonanno, Joe Profaci, Joe Scalise and Paul Gagliano. Though many of these heads changed throughout the years for a variety of reasons not limited to death; Joe Bonanno retained his seat as the youngest elected commission member and was eventually the only original commission member remaining.

The commission worked very well for organized crime up until the faces at the seats began to change. When Albert Anastasia (head of Murder Inc., the Mafia’s assassination squad) started wanting non wise guys killed there became a separation in ideals that eventually got him killed. Joe loved Albert and was one person who could reason with the Mad Hatter (name coined for Albert Anastasia, also known as Lord High Executioner). Joe saw the death of his friend as a move for power by the conniving Vito Genovese and Joe Profaci so he was forced to act.

Kidnapped… Allegedly

Now this period of Bonanno and The Commission is one of debate. Some sources believe he tried to plot his way into being boss of all bosses over his associates and was found out so he faked his own kidnapping to escape Mafia wrath. However according to Joe in his biography, his uncle Stefano Maggadino kidnapped him for almost a year to save him from his fellow bosses who had put a number on his head. Whichever source is true, it is known that Joe was missing in action for a period of time whilst another war erupted through his son Bill Bonanno who stood up as boss in his stead. When the smoke cleared and the bodies were buried, Joe re-appeared before the commission to explain his absence. The commission deemed it best that the old boss retire given the uncertainty of his motives.

Don Peppino – A Man of Honor

It goes without saying that Joe Bonanno was a remarkable man. He retired with family to Arizona where he had more than a few run-ins with the prying FBI. “He sold his regal house in Hempstead, Long Island, and a fourteen-room farmhouse near Middletown, New York. Severing all ties to New York, he exiled himself to Tucson where he had maintained a home for health reasons since the early 1940s. Although he was finished as a majestic godfather in the East, Don Peppino continued to dabble in lesser rackets in Arizona and California with his sons.

He died at age 97 after recording his side of the story in his autobiography aptly dubbed “A Man of Honor” which pretty much sums up his long life. Even mayor Rudy Giuliani who rarely has anything good to say about mafia members has a kind of reverence for the old Don when it comes to mentioning him. Being one of the men to finally bring Don Joseph Bonanno to court after he refused to break omerta, Giuliani describes him as being almost regal in his methodology and a man of the old world. To live to such an old age after a life that cannot be described as careful or easy is a wonder upon itself, the youngest to ascend and the oldest to go, Giuseppe “Joe” Bonanno was indeed a badass and an extraordinary man. Many will say he was the last of his kind, dapper, commanding respect with his pinky ring in sway.

I have to say that I have a special place in my heart for all the fathers I see randomly on the street who are actually spending quality time with their kids. Too many fathers are always placing the blame on something/someone other than themselves as to why they are not “able” to be the type of father they want to be to their kids. If you find yourself in a situation where you are not able to spend the type of time you would like to with your kids, such as living in a different city/state, there are definitely alternative ways to fill the void in their lives that is felt with your absence. Men need to stop making excuses for their lack of parenting and start thinking outside the box in order to let that child know, more importantly feel, that they are loved.

Let me preface this by saying that if you are one of those dudes where your child’s mother is just (‘scuse me) a bitter bitch who holds your child hostage until you come back to her, then just take her to court and get mandatory legal visitation. Then you can use these techniques.

Reach out and touch them

Most kids these days already have a cell phone they use for their personal calls. Therefore, your relationship with the mother has absolutely nothing to do with your keeping in touch with your child. Little things mean so much to these kids and simply picking up the phone and talking to them no less than once a week will let them know 1) that you are thinking of them often, and 2) that you care about how they are doing. Remember this does not have to be a meaningful conversation to you, but it has to be one for the child. Ask them what happened in school, their latest likes in music, what they ate for dinner, etc. You would be amazed at how boring small talk to an adult will yield animated conversation with a child of any age.

Watch a show together

Most kids have a favorite TV show or will learn to love a kid friendly show that you watch. This is a great outlet for quality time. Even if you are not in the same city as the child, you can promise to keep up with it and talk about it on the phone (see above). From the day that child was born you were made to sacrifice so even if the show is horrible, suck it up and learn to love it for the sake of the bigger picture. I can personally vouch for this method, as my daughter and I spend quality time at least once a week watching a show that has been mutually agreed upon. Granted, I don’t care much for the show, but she loves it, so I watch and pay attention. This also opens up the perfect time for discussions and teaching afterward that normally would be awkward to bring up such as social issues, feelings, and confidence. Pick a show, make a date and make it a priority. This is a “do not disturb” time for the two of you and the child should have your undivided attention. This means turn off the cell phone or make the call a short and sweet “I’m watching [fill in the blank] with my kid and I will call you in a bit”. Show the kid that this time together is more important than anything to you and it will mean the world to them.

Create something special between the two of you

Whether it’s some sort of hand shake, a phrase that you both say, or an inside joke, your kid will always remember it and cherish the memory well into their adulthood. Creating something that’s just between the two of you will let them know that they are special to you. Something like ending every conversation with, “I love you more” to their, “I love you” will stay with them for years. Taking the punchline of a joke on a movie that you both saw and applying it to your life while with them is another good way to bond. No matter what it is that you do, the point is to have something that only the two of you will understand and know.

Give them a gift on a non-holiday

All kids love gifts, and let’s face it, they all expect gifts on holidays, birthdays and special occasions. So getting a kid an “I was just thinking about you gift” will make them feel extremely special. I’m not talking about spoiling the child, but even something as simple as buying them a $5 gift card at the local Target or Walmart, will make them smile (note: if your child is already spoiled, $5 will never be enough). A little girl will love a stick of lipgloss or nail polish and a little boy would love an action figure or Nerf gun. And all children love money. Bring them something you know they will like and it will stay in their mind forever.

A lot of dads will tend to only spend quality time with their kids when it’s their “turn”. Don’t make this the norm. These kids see and feel that you only care about them when they are around, and the “out of sight, out of mind” feelings of insecurity rings true to them when it comes to you. On the contrary, if they know that you care about what’s going on in their lives then they will feel very secure in your feelings for them. If you truly want a relationship with your child then the process to getting there is priceless. Don’t underestimate their longing for your time, as any amount of time that you give them, as long as it is quality time, is seen by the child as golden.

In this article I will be making reference to nerds, in fact the word count on nerd will be astronomical after I have finished saying what it is I have to say. That being said I wanted to preface this with a distinction, I am not referring to fake nerds (Olivia Munn), wannabe nerds (since nerds are all popular now), or geeks (sports stat guy and computer fix-it guy). I am referring to introverts, people who look down when they walk, wear high-water pants and hate/fear people. The guys who stare blankly at you because they haven’t had enough people experience to know that doing so is considered rude. The guys who are so full of themselves on a topic that they see everyone else as complete idiots. THAT is the nerd of which I will be referencing today.

Examples of this Nerd of which I will be referencing is: Rodney from StarGate Atlantis, Kaylee from Firefly and Dwight from The Office. With the advent of popular “cons” all around the country, nerds have begun to seek each other out in order to worship their niche loves together sans ridicule from everyone else. This is short-lived however since advertisers have figured out that these things bring about tons of people *cough* customers so the once private gatherings have become the whored out advertising gathering that is Comic-Con. In the past a nerd could go, run into an equally awkward babe and stumble into some nerd sex one way or another. Now, not so much, but I intend to give you nerd, the answer to your aching loins.

Luring A Nerd Girl to Notice and Talk to You

Listen up nerd, one of the reasons you are being called a nerd is because of that huge brain that you assume you have. The same goes for the authentic nerd girl dressed like Tali at the con that you are visiting. Nerd expert Batman333 advises that nerd girls are best approached through topics that both you and she are passionate about. You can break the ice by telling her how closely she resembles the character that she’s cosplaying, this gets you props for complimenting her hard work (because it’s probably handmade) and complimenting her looks, cause we all know that Tali is all sorts of sexy.

Batman333: Balance out your conversation with her on what you’re interested in and what she’s interested in. Some girls are into chivalry but nowadays women are so independent that you can’t be clingy. Nerds make that mistake of cowering over the first girl that gives them any kind of attention and it eventually scares them away.

When you talk to a woman the first few exchanges should be inquiries that allow her to express her interests and the level at which she is committed. Once you find similarities in passions you will find that she is much easier to talk to. I would go up to the sexiness dressed as Morrigan and start up conversation about Morrigan, it’s super easy:

Example of The Dragon scamming on a Cosplay Hawte

Greg Dragon: Hey good job on that kickass costume
Nerd Girl: Thank you, which character are you?
Greg Dragon: (Explains character and origin)
Nerd Girl: Wow cool, love the detail, do you come to — con every year?
Greg Dragon: Actually this is my first year but I’ve been itching to try my hand at cosplay and this is the first one I could get to with my schedule. Are you a Dragon Age player? Dumb question, I know but the girls I know aren’t big fans of Morrigan.
Nerd Girl: Are you kidding me? Morrigan kicks ass, blah , blah, blah

Consider the ice broken and if I don’t stay on Morrigan for an irritatingly long time, I can get her to keep talking eventually exchanging the Facebook, number and email. Hell she may even tell me her server and character name on World of Warcraft… I’m just saying.

Tone The Arrogance Down A Bit

Super nerds, you know who you are – the world sees you as funny and weird but to the girl you are talking to you may be a bit too arrogant. Arrogance is as far away from sexy as the heavens are from the core of the earth. We get it, you have an enormous ego and an overblown perception of yourself worth. Can you mute your ongoing blabber for a bit and play the quiet thinker? You out of all nerds may be the hardest to help because even as you are reading this you are convincing yourself that you have it figured out already.

Women are women, nerdy or not and you have two things going for you; you’re intelligent and you have male privilege. When you have those two things and you rush into a conversation with a woman cynically pretending to give a shit about her life while finding ways to proclaim your greatness then you will chase her away faster than a speeding bullet. Slow down, say hi, let her talk to you and for once in your life listen. If you can hide the arrogance and angst at the idiotic human race, you may just hold her long enough to actually like you.

So in the words of the great Nathan Explosion: Go forth and conquer! Nerdlings and snatch up one of those sexy cosplay traps chicks I see on Kotaku all the time. Just remember courting is like a videogame, it is a social experience, and you gain levels by trial and error. Whatever you do, do not give up, or it will be game over and an endless life of fapping to Sailor Moon reruns.

Many times you hear people say that they need to get into shape for summer or for vacation so that they can have a good time without the hassle of paying attention to trifles like health and wellness. What I find strange about this sentiment is that fitness is a lifestyle and not an activity, but the information spread through the media would lead us to believe that getting in shape is an activity. The other thing about vacations is that the people who frequently do the cliché activities are walking/talking proof that America has an obesity problem. Unless you are one of those that are the example, you should look at it as motivation to get right.

Theme Parks and Obesity

I started dubbing morbidly obese body-types the “theme park body” due to what I see whilst people-watching at any number of theme parks. People get bigger and bigger, are allowed on less structures and rides but bring the kids out nonetheless to enjoy themselves en masse. Along with fun rides the theme parks have 100% bad sh-t for people to consume so it becomes a literal paradise for unhealthy eaters and lushes who cannot go a day without a keg of beer. The next time you go to Bush Gardens, Disney World or Universal Islands of Adventure, stop take a look around and take it in. Now try and find something that lacks sugar, fat or grease and try to prove me wrong.

Of all the vacation areas for people trying to get in shape, the theme park is the biggest minefield with casualties of the diet war walking all around you. In order to do well at these places you need to use your fellow man as motivation, eat a large healthy meal prior and purchase some bottled water to help you along. Save the meals for when you leave the park and if it’s meant to be an all day fare then plan ahead to make this your cheat day.

Long Cruises

Cruises are great, they really are, you get catered to 24/7, you can meet new people and you are on your own time without much interference. This can be disastrous for your diet or a godsend. The problem with Cruises is that they tend to have endless food which leads to people developing a buffet mentality. The buffet mentality is that “I paid a lot of money for this food so I am going to get over on the establishment by force feeding myself what I assume to be 3 times my share”. People pull up to the restaurants on cruises like hogs at a trough, slapping back cakes, pies and alcohol like no tomorrow, only to waddle off to bed to digest it quickly in order to eat some more.

For a person trying to diet and do well, a cruise can be a blessing. You can maintain 6 meals a day (utilizing room service), you have a variety of healthy and unhealthy food to choose from and you have a gym sans membership fees and shirtless douchebag looking for attention. Not only do you have a run of the food and gym services but you can maintain great exercise by walking the length and breadth of the ship looking for activities.

Just remember, the key to staying on point with your diet plan and fitness lifestyle is to plan ahead and improvise when necessary. Sure it can be hard at times like in the case of theme parks but if you know ahead of time what you will be getting yourself into, it ceases to be tough and you can control your eating and activity time.

Okay look, Die Another Day left much to be desired in a Bond movie. I mean it had the debonair Piers Brosnan as 007, token black (kiss my ass colorists) Bond girl hawte Halle Berry and one epically cheesy Ice Palace that turned the first decent half into a laughable kickback to the Roger Moore smear on the series. It left fans with a bad taste in their mouth for James Bond but I remember the buzz about Halle who kicked ass as the sexy Jinx. The beauty went on to star in a movie called Cat Woman which featured a badly animated version of the villainess doing Capoeira in a designer cat suit. This abortion for lack of a better word made Batman nerds very angry. And let’s not forget that she was miscast as the African bombshell Storm in the X-Men trilogy which made nerds wince even more than Cat Woman did.

Halle – A Victim of Bad Action Roles

So to say Halle’s run with action roles has been awful is the understatement of the year, STILL how can we forget Jinx? People were so mesmerized by Halle’s real breasts being exposed on Swordfish that they missed the fact that she was a femme fatale across from Hugh Jackman. Ask anybody about Halle and action and you will either get a recounting of Billy Bob Thornton giving her a porno caliber bit of love in Monster’s Ball, or her headlining that awful Cat Woman movie. I don’t think it’s fair to Halle, hell Jessica Alba does all action roles, manages to screw every single one of them up in the sequence and still gets more love than the seasoned Berry (okay not recently). Halle is athletic, she’s a diabetic who manages to maintain a perfect figure even after motherhood, and she did a lot of her stunts in Die Another Day. While I find her dramatic acting to be… suspect, she’s a much better lead in action roles than many of the women that are trying to do so now. Big ups to Zoe Bell… a woman who should be our go to action queen but that’s another post.

Angelina – Proven in Action, Tempered in Drama

Angelina on the other hand is the total package; it is a curse that lands her numerous critics whose lack of finding flaws in her professional work has led them to attack the person instead through speculation. Angie is beautiful, has limitless acting chops and has proven to be a bit of a man eater (let’s see any of you hot blooded males can resist the lips and eyes). This has detracted from her kickass roles in movies such as Wanted, Tomb Raider, Salt, and Gone in 60 Seconds, the list is endless. After her stint as Lara Croft it seems that Tom Boy Angelina took over and every new role has to have her bloodied and scrapping (choke out scene in Salt for the win). She is also one of the only people to pull off the spy vs spy love story successfully with Mr. and Mrs. Smith across from Brad Pitt.

So in my dream movie you would put the proven player (Angie) and the struggling player (Halle) together in an all out action movie. It would me Charlie’s Angels sans the corniness. I can see guns blazing, knives slashing and the heroines showing the Lady Dragon qualities of fire and beauty in harmony. Haters be damned it would sell. Hollywood needs to make this happen! I mean at the end of the day we are seeing remake after remake after remake, the mainstay femme fatale Milla Jovovich is stuck in a tired loop of Resident Evil sequels, so taking a risk on two Academy acclaimed hawtes just does not seem like much of a risk to me.
