Like a donkey on the hayrack

You know that metaphor of the donkey and the haystack? When you have a choice between two Donkey haystack, but can not decide which to choose? Excessive choice, too many options and too many possible izzidov us very limited and sometimes confusion. And if you are distracted from the mule two haystack, I would now be put on the hay. I'm totally confused and paralyzed. The ideas we bring new ideas. When I start working on one, I raise the meantime, tens of others. And I start thinking about them, and thus suffer first. Where it leads? The limitations and confusion, creative paralysis. In my head I imagine everything about what I do know the result, but I can not get to do it. Since too many questions. Too many options. Too many different ways. I do not have a map to see which path leads where. Sometimes you also want to possess it. To someone just told me: "Choose this and be OK. All will be well over, if you go this way!" Regrettably, such a voice is never heard.

I know you do not know how to organize time and I know that I am sometimes a bit too lazy. But I also can be too much a perfectionist. Particular design. Where are the times when we were simple things like when I write something and it was cool when I create something and it was good enough? Always see that something is missing. Always something changed. And when this is changing, pass the basic necessity of this project. Too many ideas, too few resources and time. Lack of energy, lack of incentives. Maybe the lack of confidence.

Operation Placebo - done!

In Friday, 09/03/2010 I had really a great event. I've seen a band called Placebo on the stage. I have already planned some time in between was thinking that nothing will, but in the end it all work out well.

And while it is us (I went with a colleague) occurred placebo effect. After a few so sure that it is slowly becoming a reality. And similarly, the Odilo. Departure bus from Ljubljana to Italy was at exactly 15.00. It would be surprising if 't was at 14.30 in the OMVju in Novo Mesto. From Ljubljana, my coach and all the rest went for several minutes after the third. A good 25 minutes to Ljubljana. Across Slovenia were congested. On the highway NM-LJ could not. Cool. The first good point. And luckily we left. And then to clear my head remember the petty problem - I went to Italy without any identification. Shit. What happens now? Moments of panic and calm again. Think of how I came back to New City, where other goodbye at the border with Italy. A are positive thoughts prevail. And to my great happiness, we still come across the border. It is true that a new trip to Italy very comfortable and rarely checked passports and identity documents, but on the day of the concert was apparently a bit decided to check passing. Bus stop in front of us. But we happily drove past. Cool. Two birds with one stone. And no bloody battles.

And we came to the town Codroipo, located between Trieste and Udine. Corn and potato fields, everywhere you look. Abandoned houses and few remains of the Roman Empire. I was wondering where the hell are we. And then we came there. To the one of the most beautiful villas that I have ever seen. In the middle of nowhere behind giant Roman villa (hot domek Roman worthies), surrounded by walls that are planted with very densely statues. Magnificent sight, indeed! :) The picture is below.

And we were there. First, there were few in an hour but it has accumulated a few thousand. And he was a party. Placebo concert was really excellent, instrumentally they were fully captured, it is seen that the unique band that can live show quality, which we hear on the album. I have noted lightshow. Amazing lightshow, projection of videos on a huge network of metal and reflectors that give you the feeling that the really heavy substance abuse. Show has a nice appearance fused with the band, all the performers (three band members and three session muzičarji) were dressed entirely in white. Scenes lightshowa and their white clothes were really cool. Res.

Lead vocalist and bassist are for each and every song replaced the guitar. Each had two at your roadija who are giving a him. Also, for each song. So yeah, the concert was seriously excellent. Except that it lasted only an hour and a half it was cool. This is the band happens if the tour is a daily occurrence. It is no longer as much energy, no more intimacy. And it is felt. But Fuck, it was cool. Adaptation even played Nirvana - All Apologies. And they have adapted perfectly.

One more check mark on my list of concerts that I want to attend. Now - MUSE, here I come!

Anger

I am angry. I'm sad. It does not make sense anymore. My eyes look different. I thought I was the only one. I thought I had finally won. I thought the fight was justified. I thought that was true. Winners write history. Who is the winner then? Where am I? Where Am I? Is there anything which is mine? The sky was without clouds. I always have been. I want to walk out of this exhibition. This art is more like me. Misery. I'm just a pile of meat, which can hold the bones together.

Why? Why? How? I do not know. In fact, I never knew. In fact, I tried not to know. I can not. Too much.

I had a pencil that had a cap. I thought I could just open the cover and see that the color of his pencils. But it was not.

Yesterday I had the honor to perform at the Festival of acoustic music "FAG Žalec 2010" in Žalec. It was great, great stage, sound system and a team of organizers and performers has been exelent :) In short, it was a great night on which it was worth it:)

Library: part 2

Cool. Yesterday I was in the library and I paid the debt of 5 years old and now I can rent the book again. The feeling is incredible! I almost forgot how it works, but to go to the library and you borrow a book. After such a long period of expulsion, I already got that bit in the library can not do more than just look at the shelves and imagine how it would be good to have something from it in the hands of the home and what they read. Do not get me wrong I quit reading or bred resentment against the books. Quite the contrary. Due to inability to hire me even more stuck ... Any views on the shelf of literature on music and history of computing has attracted me a little sad and nostalgic. And of course a lot of desire and its ability to borrow to take something from this. And now, as this again after five years we can do very happening. Amazing, free. Access to other worlds to me, a little more open and accessible. Cool.

And I'm so mad when people tell me: "Hey, that cover of Green Day that you performed was awesome!" What??? So now I have a little speech on my gigs before I play this song, introducing John Lennon to this world.

How to describe your life with five songs

Everyone has their own story. And each song has its own story. Human characters and stories are often very similar, so often found together. Do you ever find that while listening to music while reading books or listening to, and read your feelings and life story? Probably almost everyone can find what song in which he appears to have written in his life ....

Is this only satisfy their loneliness, or give rise to even more depression and unfortunately I do not know. But I know for sure that it considers songs such great help. Poems are my personal and the national anthem.

Music may be the largest drug and exit, or the biggest pain. If you have your favorite songs to listen to as much as possible and realize that you are not alone. In listening to these songs you move to a world that is known only to you and which one you can not take it. Here you are at home!

Someone said once: The question is whether people listen to sad music or sad music makes a sad man. What do you think?

EOD band info - Camelot

I decided to blog a few contributions to present individual bands and artists that you can hear on my compilation album THE EVOLUTION of Dreams (at an advanced EOD). So I wrote some pretty short on any basis, adding some pictures and links, and tried to remember how little it was:) nostalgic write, not what:)

And this will be the first band, the first of the sides and with whom I recorded my first demo - Camelot.

About the band:

Camelot Group was formed in December 2005. The first band presented their ideas pursued muzikalicne Christmas George (bass), Nicholas Ernest Padevski (keyboards), Jose (drums), Tilc (sax, vocals) and Mitch (guitar). After a while George Christmas has left the group and was replaced by Gretel Christmas (bass). In such places, the group made their first real products, the most epic song instrumental exit Apollo 13, where in 25 minutes of musical genres and different styles of playing a mixture of different music and effects.

After the suspension was put together Camelot again in July 2006 and the group is again joined by George Christmas (bass). New songs were created and the visual and ideological basis of the group.

Alteration to the wind is from the old figure was little. The group remained only wasp (drums, sax, vocals) and Mitch (guitar, vocals). They were joined by the King George (guitar), Eko (keyboards) and Jerry Matic (bass). 13.2.2007, the first time in the sports hall and again Štukelj Leon embarked on the path to the goal. They created what copyright repertoire included songs, unfortunately, since all one shot only - Take Me As I Am. This figure was the strongest group. Toured all over Slovenia, in different locations, the largest concert was certainly the planet Shower in Novo Mesto and in Maribor in the competition hall Štuk ILA International.

The group fell apart in the middle of the summer of 2007 because of disagreements within the band, and differences in musical tastes and goals. They broke up amicably.

FAG - Festival Akustične Glasbe 2010

In še uradni opis:

Poletje bo minilo, kot bi psa sunil v rit! Da pa se bomo imeli česa veseliti tudi po dopustniških dneh, vas že sedaj nadvse vljudno vabimo na dvodnevni FESTIVAL AKUSTIČNE GLASBE "FAG Žalec 2010"!

Dogodek smo razdelili na dva večera:

- prvi koncert bo v petek, 27. avgusta ob 20h v dvorani KuD SVOBODA v Grižah. Nastopili bodo odlični izvajalci, ki pa so ...bili žal še premladi, da bi nastopili na zloglasnih žalskih akustičnih festivali v letih med 1979 in 1984, jih pa preveva podobna odbita senzibilnost, ki je prevevala že takratne protagoniste.

Z nami bodo:

eksotično - tripaški duet Danijela Jerković & Alojz Studen - Luj,
osebno-izpovedno-zabavni Aligatorji,
filozofsko navdahnjen Tilen Hrovatič,
odfukanci Krtkenmal
in karizmatični Martin Ramoveš!

- drugi koncert bo dan kasneje, torej v soboto, 28. agusta ob 20h v dvorani Doma II. slovenskega tabora v Žalcu. Nastopili pa bodo tisti veterani, ki so uspešno oplodili že žalske akustične festivale v osemdesetih, so pa še vedno živi, aktualni in akutni!
