RJR Safety Corporation sponsors the newly concluded Association Of Safety Practitioners Of The Philippines Inc. (ASPI 7) on October 1, 2010 at the Cebu Orchard Hotel, AS Fortuna St., Bakilid, Mandaue City. This year's theme is: "Sustaining Responsible Safety Work."

As one of the sponsors the company is allowed to showcase their products. Here are some of the photos taken during the successful Safety Forum.

Among other supplier only RJR Safety Trend Trading Corporation is noticed to have a wide display of their Personal Protective Products. At the near of the forum conclusion the company gave safety spectacles through a raffle.

"Fax tone, please!" - A Sulit Encounter

“Fax tone, please.”

I put down the receiver and waited for the paper to come out from our fax machine. Eventually it came out clearly and this was the message:

“Earl, we need to have new product line in the body harness category. Search for it please!”

This was the command that changed my view about online advertising, social networking, and online marketing.

It all started that day in April 2009. Hi, I am Earl Pablo I am a small time sales & marketing assistant barely making ends meet. I am in our office early that day, April 13, 2009 to be exact. I am a man who don’t believe in any business superstitious. Why I am saying this? Central Visayas Gets P18 Wage Increase

Employees who are getting a daily wage of P267
will now enjoy an increase of P18 making
a daily minimum of P285.

The Wage Order No. 15 comprises the
whole region 7 including the industrial
and agricultural sectors.

The wage order will take effect 15 days after,
so that would be on September 2010.

Although I see it as not so commendable
but thanks to the effort made by the
Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB).

My surroundings aren’t happy
with the increase, they say it’s a mockery
but in the end they will accept it no matter what.

Pacquiao: Fighter of The Decade

The Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) has voted Manny Pacquiao as Fighter of the Decade, topping six other boxing icons namely: Bernard Hopkins, Joe Calzaghe, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez and Marco Antonio Barrera for the prominent award.

For the years, Manny won the following world titles: junior featherweight, featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight, junior welterweight and welterweight, and flyweight making his total title haul at a record seven.

The Pop's reigning diva Beyonce reaps six (6) Grammy awards on Sunday. Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" was song of the year. She just makes a history since no other woman since 1958 garners 6 awards in a single night.

The Grammy's biggest awards are as follows:

1. Album of the year - 20-year-old country chanteuse Taylor Swift
2. Record of the year - "Use Somebody" - Family rockers Kings of Leon

MJ's Choreographer Teams Up With Cebu Inmates

Michael Jackson's choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid teamed up with Cebu Inmates for a "This Is It" practice and routines. These inmates become a sensation when they danced MJ's "Thriller" and some other moves.
