One of my favourite rappers of the moment has dropped another track to build the steady increasing hype for his next studio album, Oxymoron. ScHoolboy Q has linked up with his TDE/Black Hippy cohort and man of the moment Kendrick Lamar to bless a Gwen Bunn & T.H.C track called Collard Greens. This sounds different to anything I’ve heard either artist rap on previously, but I like it. Sounds authentic and like both artists had fun on it, the last two verses especially show this. Listen to the track below and look out for Oxymoron which is coming soon, I definitely will. Thoughts?

Kash Wallis is back! We haven’t heard much from the South London rapper due to our own inactivity (upgrading the site means hiatus right now, smh) but he blessed my Twitter yesterday afternoon with this song entitled “Real Enough”. If you’re a Mobb Deep/Q-Tip fan then you’ll know why I got excited as soon as i pressed play; Kash basically made his own version of their 1995 single Temperature’s Rising. With a wavy sing-song chorus, he done The Infamous and the UK justice, not conforming to sounding like an imitation US rapper. Props to Kash. Look out for more stuff to come from him soon. Thoughts?

Previously, I introduced the readers to a rapper hailing from Baltimore called OG Dutch Master who reps the #NewBaltimore movement. Well he’s back with new music and a new visual! Entitled “My Last O” he keeps it short and sweet with a freestyle type rap accompanied by a greyscale video. Simple, but it works for me. Thoughts? Let us know after the drop.

Here’s some new music for you. Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland we have a rapper who goes by the handle of OG Dutch Master. After the success of his most recent mixtape, Art Of War, he decided to treat his fans to even more music in the form of a short EP known as 3.5 Gramz. Dimez is taken from that EP and Dutchy has recently dropped the visuals to this track.

Produced by Randy Savage, the beat and lyrics combined gives the track a Jet Life Recordings feel, reminiscent of the likes of Curren$y, Young Roddy and Smoke DZA. It’s a smooth track that’s been given a simple music video to accompany it, the video does nothing to hurt the laid back feel of the track at all.

I felt that it’s only right to keep you guys up to date with what is going on with TheBluMile.

As many of you have noticed already, TheBluMile has been quiet for the past 6 months. This is not only due to other commitments such as completing our final year of the dreadful slavery they like to call University but also making sure that our return is harder and more advanced than before.

We’re still about!

So expect to see us at many events/shows around town.

Most importantly, we will still be delivering content. More likely to be about events, competitions, give aways and any thing that we’re personally involved in, rather than regular news.
