1) After you define a releases tree in the Releases module, you continue the

application testing process by specifying ........

a) Requirements

b) Releases

c) Plan Tests

d) Either B or A

2) Requirement topics are recorded in the Requirements module by creating a requirements ......

a) graph

b) tree

c) Path

d) plan

3) The
requirements ....... is a graphical representation of your requirements
specification, displaying the hierarchical relationship between
different requirements.

a) graph

b) plan

c) Path

d) tree

4) For each requirement topic, a QA tester creates a list of ....... in the requirements tree.

a) detailed requirements

b) detailed specifications

c) detailed plans

d) detailed sub-requirements

5) Each requirement in the tree is described in detail and cannot include any relevant attachments.

a) True

b) False

6) After
defining your requirements, you can add traceability between the
requirements. When analyzing the impact of a change proposed in a
specific requirement, ....... shows the other requirements that the
change might affect.

c) traceability

d) cross-links

7) QA managers assign the requirements to releases and cycles in the releases tree in the Releases module.

b) False

8) The
assigned requirements are then used as a basis for the test plan in the
Test Plan module. The tests you create during the test plan phase are
then linked to these requirements to create ......

a) linkages

b) linked-requirements

c) requirements plan

d) coverage

9) QA managers review the requirements, they change a requirement from a Not Reviewed

status to a ..... status once it is approved.

74) A ...... link is included in the e-mail, enabling the recipient to go directly to the test.

a) Link To Test
b) Move To Test
c) Go To Test
d) Test

75) In the Test Plan module, you create ....... by selecting requirements to link to a test.

76) Alternatively, in the Requirements module, you create ...... by selecting tests to link to a requirement.

a) RTM
b) requirements coverage
c) test coverage
d) SRS

77) A test can cover more than one requirement, and a requirement can be covered by only one test.

79)
Requirements coverage is created automatically when you convert a
requirement to a test. Therefore, even if you have not yet added
requirements coverage, it may already exist.

a) True
b) False

80)
You can also define requirements coverage by dragging a requirement in
the requirements tree to the coverage grid. The requirement is added to
the coverage grid without its child requirements.

a) True
b) False

Search Trends -- Yahoo or Google ?!?

I guess everybody knows what the best search engine is, right?? Now, dont u say Yahoo. Yahoo was good, a few years back, when we din't know what "Good" actually was :) Since the inception of Google they have made tremendous progress. The search results are getting better everyday. Though I have to accept, sometimes for researching some technical stuff, I do use Yahoo. But yahoo has a bad habit of throwing some absolutely irrelevant results which annoys me to the core.

Recently I read an article on Yahoo's search trend. The author was having a go at yahoo users. :) But sadly, thats true. yahoo doesn't seem to be bothering too much about it. They already seem to have said I QUIT. Anyways, below are the search trends for 2008 in yahoo !! Quite surprising to say the least..

1. Britney Spears
2. WWE - Who the fuck still watches this shit?
3. Barack Obama
4. Miley Cyrus - Looking for her naked pictures?
5. RuneScape
6. Jessica Alba
7. Naruto - Is this the Asian anime porn?
8. Lindsay Lohan - People are still into her? WTF?
9. Angelina Jolie - She has the body of man! OMG!
10. American Idol

Its pretty close to the Top 10 of Google searches from 2005.

1. Janet Jackson
2. Hurricane Katrina
3. tsunami
4. xbox 360
5. Brad Pitt
6. Michael Jackson
7. American Idol
8. Britney Spears
9. Angelina Jolie
10. Harry Potter

Seems Yahoo users are 3 yrs off the pace !!! Coz, 2006 results of Google are much much better. Take a look.

1. Bebo - Britain's answer to MySpace
2. Myspace - Murdoch's answer to how to make money online
3. World Cup - France's answer to where head butting is acceptable
4. Metacafe - The other YouTube
5. Radioblog - Where bloggers practice extreme annoyance and how to crash Firefox
6. Wikipedia - Where wikiality and truthiness prevail
7. Video - Because searchers don't know how to be more specific
8. Rebelde - What's better than Catholic schoolgirls? Catholic schoolgirls in Spanish, apparently.
9. Mininova - Next year's acronym magnet (DRM, MPAA, RIAA, DOJ)
10. Wiki - Because the downside of Web 2.0 is you have to say things that sound silly.

Take a look at my screenshot.

Notice anything different?

They’re making the player wider and everything below it. They’ve
narrowed down the stuff on the right (related videos, info, more from,
etc).

Well these are good changes, my friend. I like it! Wider screen is
always better. But, are these changes temporary? Like are they just
playing around or will these changes stay for good?

Anyways, I’m off. And until then I wanna hear what YOU think about this. Good? Bad? Excited?

51) Each requirement type with risk-based quality management enabled supports either.

a) risk analysis or risk assessment
b) risk breakdown or risk assessment
c) risk breakdown or risk review
d) risk analysis or risk evaluation

52) Performing a risk-based quality management analysis for an analysis requirement involves the following steps

a) Determine Risk groups, Define Testing Policy Settings, Finalize Testing Policy, Analyze Testing Strategy
b) Determine Risk Categories, Define Testing guidelines Settings, Finalize Testing Policy, Analyze Testing Strategy
c) Determine Risk Categories, Define Testing Policy Settings, Finalize Testing guidelines, Analyze Testing Strategy
d) Determine Risk Categories, Define Testing Policy Settings, Finalize Testing Policy, Analyze Testing Strategy

53)
An ...... requirement is a requirement belonging to a type that
represents higher levels in the requirements tree hierarchy, such as
the Folder type.

a) analysis
b) assessment
c) Policy
d) Test

54)
An ....... requirement is a requirement belonging to a type that
represents requirements that are children of analysis requirements and
at a lower level in the requirements tree hierarchy.

a) analysis
b) assessment
c) Policy
d) Test

55)
For each assessment requirement under the analysis requirement, you
determine the Risk Category. The Risk Category is composed of two
factors.

a) Business Probability and Failure Criticality
b) Business Vitality and Failure Probability
c) Business Criticality and Failure Probability
d) Business Criticality and Failure Possibility

56) The Business Criticality of a requirement has three possible values:.....

a) Critical, Important, Nice to Have
b) Critical, Importance, Nice to Have
c) Critical, Important, Nice to Had
d) None of these

57) The Failure Probability of a requirement has three possible values:...

a) High, Standard, Low
b) High, Average, Low
c) High, Medium, Low
d) None of these

58) Quality Center defines four Testing Levels:.

a) Full, Partial, Basic, and Low
b) Full, Partial, Basic, and None
c) Full, Half, Basic, and None
d) Full, Partial, Critical, and None

59)
The Business Criticality of a requirement is a measure of how likely a
test on the requirement is to fail, based on the technical complexity
of the requirement’s implementation, without consideration of the
requirement’s impact on the business.

a) True
b) False

60) The Failure Probability of a requirement is a measure of how important the requirement is to your business

a) True
b) False

Quality Center - Question Set 5

41) By default, Quality Center sends e-mail in HTML format. To send
e-mail as plain text instead, edit the ……. parameter in the Site
Configuration tab in Site Administration.

a) EMAIL_FORMAT
b) EMAIL_FORM
c) MAIL_FORMAT
d) QC_MAIL_FORMAT

42)
You can copy a requirement within the same project or between projects.
Which of the below items are copied at the time of copying a
requirement.

a) Test coverage.
b) defect linkage.
c) risk-based quality management data
d) All of above
e) None of above

43) You can also move a requirement to a new location in the requirements tree by dragging it..

a) True
b) False

44)
You can delete a requirement from the Requirements module. Deleting a
requirement does not delete its child requirements, tests coverage,
requirement traceability links, and defects linkage..

a)True
b) False

45) There are two methods you can use to create tests from requirements:

a) Convert Requirements to Tests & Generate a Test from Requirements
b) Convert Requirements to Tests & Convert a Test from Requirements
c) Convert Requirements to Tests & Generate a Requirement from Tests
d) Convert a Test from Requirements & Generate Requirements to Tests

46)
When analyzing the impact of a change proposed in a specific
requirement, the traceability links indicate the other ...... that the
change might affect.

a) tests
b) requirements
c) tests & requirements
d) None

47)
...... links indicate requirements that affect a selected requirement.
.....links indicate requirements that are affected by a selected
requirement.

a) Trace from, Trace to
b) Trace to, Trace from
c) From trace, To trace
d) None of above

48) When a requirement changes, Quality Center alerts the affected requirements. The alerts can be seen by.......

a) Author of the requirement
b) users authorized by the Author of the requirement
c) all users
d) Administrator

49)
while Defining Traceability Relationships, You cannot add a requirement
traceability link by dragging a requirement from the requirements tree
to the appropriate grid..

a) True
b) False

50) While
viewing Traceability Impact, the Impact Analysis tab helps you
understand the many associations and dependencies that exist between
the ........ by displaying them in a hierarchical tree structure.

a) Tests
b) Requirements
c) Both
d) None

Football Frankenstein - A Crash Course in Football

Can you become a top sportsman in a year, starting from a fairly bog standard position? Arton Beleci clearly thinks so - he is attempting to become a Premiership footballer within a year by applying neuro-linguistic programming or NLP to copy and acquire (as best he can) the skills of the likes of Zlatan, Ronaldo, Messi, Drogba and co.

Fat chance, pal. I'm saying this coz I'm partly J :-|

Seriously, though, I will be keeping an eye on this and checking his website
every so often as I will be intrigued to know how well he does. I think
his chances of becoming Premiership standard are near zero, as much due
to his age (23) as anything else - something he himself identifies as
a possible hurdle. Instinct, rather than any expertise, tells me he will
vastly improve and may even win himself a pro contract further down the
leagues - why? His sole aim over the course of the coming year will be
to improve his football skills - of course he'll get better. I'm a
better tennis player than when I started tennis lessons about 10 yrs ago
- it's simply practice. The best players function on instinct. For one
reason or another they know what to do without being
neuro-linguistically programmed with the necessary data - he will get
better but will not become the perfect Frankenstein Footballer as the
BBC put it. In addition the best players have physiological abilities
that complement their skills. Pace, agility, acceleration and
especially height (or indeed lack of it) will be hard, if not
impossible, to acquire within a year.

It's not as if this means
anyone can follow the dream anyway, apparently he has "assembled a team
of world-renowned experts and [has] been pulling this together for 18
months". Book your holiday days now then. I have long been sceptical of
the idea that to be a good pro you have to be a footballer from an early age - this guy could prove that well and truly correct even if he doesn't become a Zizzou.

I

It simply deserves a thorough dissertation to do justice to it. Please be patient and persevere through the review – I assure you that your time will be worth it! ;)

Let me begin by saying that what I expected to see was another super-hero movie with a clichéd storyline containing all the usual elements – the good vs. evil thread, the proverbial love-interest in distress, the megalomaniac who turns evil with excessive power, the humble common-man who rises above the mundane to become the hero, etc. All done and redone rather thoroughly by a dozen film-makers in twice as many films in the past decade itself. In short, I expected to see the quintessential masala super-hero movie with oodles of feel-good patriotism and boisterous bravado, none of which I thought would justify the 20 bucks I spent on renting the DVD.

To begin with Batman has alwes been my most favorite Super hero. Coz he does all the crime stopping without any super powers at all :) He is just James Bond + a Mask n Suit - the chicks :P And moreover the villains in the Batman comics are all weird and super cool. No other comic series has the kind of variety of villains that prevail in Gotham City. Simply put I couldn't believe myself that it took me so long to watch this movie finally.

What I saw here was a gravely serious and supremely grim tale of a city going through dark times – besieged by violent crime and corruption – which is further exacerbated by a maniacal madman whose primary objective is the spread of absolute anarchy. What I saw was a movie which transcended the level of all other super-hero movies by providing not only a scintillating visual spectacle, but more importantly also a character driven analysis and a deep psychological treatise on the best and the worst amongst us and the factors that motivate us to be either supremely good or maniacally bad. And let me say that it was worth more than the 200 odd bucks that PVR charged !!!

Plot-Summary: The story begins with a violent bank robbery orchestrated by a masked man who calls himself the “Joker”, (played previously by the legendary Jack Nicholson, who pales in comparison to the portrayal here by the Late Heath Ledger). We are given an indication of his ruthlessness and his anarchist methods, when he double-crosses his accomplices, killing them mercilessly and takes all the loot away. Right away, we know that this is a man who has a very black heart and whose mind leans towards the maniacal. Then, we are introduced to members of “The Mob”, whose wings have been clipped by Batman’s heroics (Batman played by Christian Bale). The Mob’s operations are shut-down and its members indicted by the legal acumen of Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), the newly appointed crime-intolerant District Attorney (D.A.), with the help of a beautiful assistant Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal). “The Mob” have an interest in seeing Batman dead/disbanded. The Joker suggests that in return for half their financial assets, he neutralizes Batman, to which the Mob reluctantly complies. The rest of the movie chronicles the war (and its many casualties) between The Batman and the D.A. Harvey Dent on one side and the Joker on the other. As the war progresses, we see the balance constantly tilt in favour of the evil, helping to maintain the tension and the overpowering sense of gloom that serves as a harbinger of a dark future. We witness the transformation of good men, by circumstance and tragedy, into evil beings, consumed by the blind-anger of revenge.

One question that may come up in your mind – “So What?! This doesn’t seem new at all.” I beg to differ – it might not be completely “new” and it is very much the story of good vs. evil at its core. But, it is the manner the story unfolds that leaves you spellbound and deeply unsettled and disturbed. Beyond the evident storyline is a careful examination of the psychological and moral conundrum that Batman and Harvey Dent face as they go about dealing with crime in the city. Harvey Dent is the kind of hero that Gotham City deserves – fighting crime with legal recourse, but the vigilante Batman is the one that it needs currently. The Batman feels that Dent’s methodologies are indeed more suitable for a civilized society, but is forced to don the mantle of an outlawed vigilante. Both of these men face tough choices when they are confronted by an evil madman who is not motivated by money or self-advancement, but by the pure black desire for absolute chaos. The Joker threatens the city with increasing violence as a bait for Batman to reveal his true identity. This is when the troubling conundrum comes up – should Batman give himself up to prevent bloodshed and cause a moral victory for the anarchist ideology or should he risk bloodshed in order to subdue the Joker?

On the performances/casting front: Christian Bale as the Batman/Bruce Wayne manages to switch rather effortlessly in the two personas – being the persistent but placid Batman, while also being the flamboyant millionaire. Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, the crime-tough D.A. gives a moving performance as a good, earnest man who when befallen by tragedy, transforms into an extremely violent vigilante. Gary Oldman plays Commissioner Gordon with all the marks/nuances of a seasoned top policeman. Maggie Gyllenhaal plays Rachel Dawes as a mixture of toughness and tenderness – portraying her confusion of feelings towards two great men (Bruce and Harvey) who play a central figure in her daily life. Though cute little Katie Holmes would have better suited for this role.

But the one that beats ‘em all, is the portrayal of the Joker by the Late Heath Ledger, whose performance is stellar and superlative. It is not everyday that one gets to experience evil in its purest form. Throughout the movie, I found myself spell-bound by this Joker, grudgingly admiring his capacity to transcend mundane criminals into the stratosphere of evil. I couldn’t help finding him more humanistic and dynamic than the “good” but rather rigid Batman, whom I found rather placid. This ambivalence of feelings is a testament of Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker – Ledger manages to make a character whom you should despise into a character whom you are mildly amused with and whom you begin to even unintentionally admire! His is truly a spine-chilling performance that just sustains the movie with constant climatic tension throughout.

At 2hours 45mins, this movie is indeed unusually long for hollywood’s standards, but never did it feel long. There was never a dull moment in the movie and the screenplay kept things tight and ensured plenty of action n pace. The direction and cinematography is spot on, managing to capture a range of emotions on different characters, all from the most strategic angles. The special effects were spectacular and complemented the stylish action on screen.

There are a lot of moments in this movie that gives you goose-bumps and spine-chills. Most of them have the Joker and Harvey featured prominently. These two characters – brought excellently to life by Eckhart and Ledger – completely steal the show from the Batman. Particularly memorable is the moment when the Joker tells Batman that “when the chips fall down, these so-called ‘civilized’ people will become wolves and chaos would ensue”. Later on, when such a ‘chip-falling’ situation occurs (not revealed because it would be a plot-spoiler), in a spine-chilling moment, we realize that the Joker’s prediction might come true – that chaos would indeed ensue. It is in these moments that you come to grudgingly agree with the Joker, as he reveals the hypocrisy and the self-advancement of each individual even in a civilized society to the point that it threatens to become barbaric. In that moment of epiphany, you realize that The Joker is simply a doppelganger of the Batman – the evil complementary alter-ego which completes the whole.

As a testament to the movie’s resonating power among movie-goers, the I.M.D.B. already features this movie on its Top 250 movie list at the 1st position – the top of the pedestal (as of July 20th, 2008, 8 p.m. I.S.T.). It has managed to secure a cumulative rating of 9.7 (higher than movies such as The Godfather & The Shawshank Redemption). Whether it is worthy of being christened as THE Best movie of all times, is not as relevant as the troubling questions it raises (which have tremendously profound parallels to real world situations including world politics). This movie truly deserves to be in the league of the best movies ever made as an unusual entrant – a super-hero movie which crosses its genre and becomes a poetically grim dissertation on the dilemma that we all face – whether it is prudent to become evil in order to fight evil. And yes, Heath Ledger deserves to be at least nominated (if not win) for the Oscars for his haunting performance – it was his parting shot which deserves to be honoured.

Bottom-line: An absolute jewel – this is indeed on my top movies list, amongst other gems and cult-classics. It is a definite must-watch, worth each and every cent!

Changing Templates Again :)

Somehow, I never seem to be satisfied with any template design I use. I had actually started out with the Minima Black. Then thought it was time to move on to a more customized template. It was a claret n white themed 2 column template. A couple of months and i was already starting to get bored of it. That made me move to a 3 column template for the first time. It resulted in a messy cramped layout which somehow lasted for a month. (That was mostly coz I was busy during that period and couldn't get time to throw it off.)

After a lot of search I thought that Vista 84 theme that I m currently using was the best I ve come across. It took me a lot of time to get it customized properly !! Almost a week, I must say. But it was good, neat and professional. But one big problem !! It was not with the template actually but my company's stupid security policy that made the Menu Bars and Headers replace with SESSION TIMEOUT instead. That was so annoying. Whenevr I open my blog, all I see is just the post content and rest all would go missing. I dint know how to over come it as well. :( Though I loved this template, I thought it was about time I found one that would appear properly in the Wipro backbone :-|

Antonio Lupetti is one of the best when it comes to blogger guru !! This man is just amazing. Any question and you are bound to get a solution here. Simply a genius. In fact, I wasn't aware of his works until I found about him through another of those frequently visited site from Amit Agarwal. I was checking his site for some good templates when i came acroos Mr. Lupetti's name. And boy am I glad I saw that. His template was just mind-blowing. Very clean, whitish, professional. And guess what, he has made its source code aboslutely free for anyone and everyone to use !!! :D

Just got it downloaded. Hopefully I can get my blog updated with this new template by this weekend. Hoping it doesn't give me a lot of problems with my widgets. Cia till then..

FIFA 09 - PS2

Finally, the long awaited day has come. Unfortunately due to my onsite assignments, I could never get my hands on FIFA 08. But I happened to play a lot of it on XBOX 360 back at my cousins place. It was hard for me 2 use the XBOX controller. When I hrd about the improvements being made for the 09 version, it was jus thrilling. I mean, the AI, off the ball, tricks, collision etc. etc. have all been improved. The trailers look amazing though i know the PS2 version would be a bit scaled down frn the so called nex-Gen consoles. But sadly, now they have stopped selling the pirated PS2 DVDs here in bangalore and the cost of an original one is around 2000 odd !!! No mater hw gd I m a fan of this game, the miser in me came to the fore' and stopped me frm buying it.

Now, after hrs of searching in all the forums, one fella has jus agreed to sell me the one he has got for abt 800 bucks including the shipping cost. He said his console din support PAL games and so was selling it. Heck; watever. i jus bot it. I m still unsure if it wud work in my console. Hoping for the best. I m due to get the game by tomorrow. Here is a small jist of the said features:

Key Features

• 500 New Animation Sequences — The largest overhaul of the football animation system delivers more responsive, intelligent and realistic physical action. Players move more fluidly around the pitch. Smaller, nimble players possess quicker first steps and have the advantage in sprints.

• New Collision Detection System — With 360 degree coverage players behave according to their physical attributes. Stronger players now possess the strength to knock down smaller players during collisions or use their body and arms to shield the ball in challenges.

• New Shielding System —Player strength and momentum determine outcomes in challenges. Slow the pace of a game with increased control shielding the ball, enabling you to bring support players into the action. Plus, players can push off defenders to create space—at the risk of being called for a foul.

• Pro Skill Moves — Four new skill gives you a total of 32 tricks in your arsenal, making it easier to recreate signature moves of the real-world superstars. Now perform scoop turns, rainbow flicks, heel-to-heel knocks and ball rolls just like Ronaldinho.

• New Controls — Pass, shoot, and score using a graduated control system. Start with the simplified two-button control system and then learn more controls at your own pace on-the-fly. Now even players new to the game can challenge the best.

• Be A Pro: Seasons — Pick a professional player or create a player and test your soccer ability over four seasons. Master positioning, improve your attributes and develop into an elite player. Co-operate with up to three friends fixed to their player on the same team, but compete with those same friends on individual challenges. All performances are tracked through detailed statistics.

• Be A Pro Camera -- The unique player-focused Be A Pro camera debuts on PlayStation 2 to immerse you into the action. The new camera tracks your player, re-creating the excitement as if you were on the pitch yourself.

• Manager Mode – Featuring new options for pre-season friendlies, and the ability to create formations to customize your club for each opponent.

• Tournament Mode – Play 61 tournaments, including 42 officially licensed ones, or create one of your own.

• Challenge Mode – Take on the challenge of overcoming a variety of difficult scenarios to earn rewards and unlockables.

• Complete Authenticity — Over 500 licensed teams and 30 leagues all accurately represented with correct kits and badges.

All these look cool and exciting. But still there are a lot I would love EA to incorporate in their next version atleast. Here are my questions !!!

(a) Will there be a 'DIVE' Button?

(b) Will there be away fans this time EG away fans wearing there team colours EG. EG Nike, Adidas, Puma, ETC....?

(j) In manager mode.. when making a transfer will you be able to add in a player plus money for a player...or do a swap deal... swapping a plyer for another player EG like arsenal did Ashley cole for Gallas, Baptista for Reyes..?

(k) With players like Ronaldo.. will you be able to recognise how good he is.. rather than it bein the same as FIFA 08 with league one players bein as fast as him...?

(l) Will there be a viewable Ref, Linesman, and Fourth Official?

(m) Will online games go to extra time and penaltys if its a draw?

(n) Will penaltys be awarded if a player handballs the ball in the box?

(o) Have nets been fixed?

(p) Will multiple players be able to get a yellow/red card aswell as the original player who got booked or sent off EG Players arguin with the ref may also get booked?

(q) In manager mode.. will you be able to see latest scores from other games when your near the end of the season EG results depending on your status EG If you win and another team Wins or loses the outcome may be good or bad for you...?

(r) Will you be able to create a manager.. if so will he be viewable on the pitch during a match?

Thts all my questions for now, If EA can Plz answer these, i understand if you cant yet but if you can tht wud be awesome for this game !!! I have been a huge admirer of the Aussie cricket team over more than a good 10 yrs !! Don't ask me y being an Indian I support the Aussies.. Just like in Football, the way I started supporting Chelsea coz my Bro supports Man Utd, I went with the Aussies coz my Bro was a huge fan of English cricket. Well, David Boon's moustache could be another reason :P Back in 1995, was the beginning of the Golden era for the Aussie cricket. In Taylor, they had an astute captain. From 1996, they just went on battering n humiliating all the teams until now.

With the current under going series of India, it mostly looks like India has sealed it. Score Update: Aussies need 304 runs more with 8 wickets remaining in abt 75 odd overs. Well, I dont think they wud jus get that.

Anywes, the hot discussion in the world of cricket, other than IPL n 20-20 or the CHEERLEADER's outfit is THE DEATH OF AUSSIE CRICKET, just like the one the Mighty Windies faced around 13 yrs back when they were routed 5-0 by the Aussies at their own turf !!! But y r they saying it? Bcoz India managed to win this series (despising to say this) comfortably?? Or is it bcoz India won the 20-20 cup ?? Or is it coz the Indian fans are alwes at their Outrageously Optimistic best ??

The latter reason seems to be the most relating to me. Coz in 20-20 no one can assert a superiority. If a team needs to win a 20-20 cup, u need more of a luck than talent unlike the longer versions of the game. That was so evident in the IPL. Technically gifted batsmen failed where as the sloggers fared better!! So if anyone is commenting that with this series loss to India, the Aussies are exposed; then think again coz I beg to differ !!! When exactly have the Aussies performed well in India. Only once in their history have the Aussies EVER won here and that was the last time they came here (That too a hardly convincing win). Even if they manage to draw a series in India, they consider it to be a morale booster.. But other than that, I dont think there has been any sort of blemish in this awesome side. They have talented cricketers all through their rank. YES, with the retirements of McGrath n Warne they have lost 2 legendry bowlers n match winners. But the Aussie team WAS n NEVER will be a one-man show unlike the Indian team. Accepted, this current Indian team is more than a one-man show. But don't write off the Aussies. They have an excellent structure with their Cricketing Academies and sports in general.
With the impending retirement of Hayden and d already retired Langer, Gilchrist, Martin etc. any side loses quality batsmen, but then they another 100 haydens lined up in their backyard in the form of Phil Jacques, Hussey brothers, Shaun Marsh et al. They have quality pacemen coming through as well. The only one who I must admit cannot be replaced is a certain SHANE WARNE. Coz he simply is a once-in-a-lifetime cricketer. An absolute legend. Just like there are no 2 Bradmans (or shd I say 2 Tendulkars for all the Indians) in this world, there just cannot be 2 Warnes' as well. It may tk sum time or may be a decade bfor they find a quality spinner. Until then they hv the part-timers n the pace batteries to wilt any batting line-up in the cricketing world.
Every single person who doesn't support the Aussie team would luv to see them Crash n Burn. That in itself demostrates the ruthlessness with which the Aussies have gone about their business. They don't just win. They win on the field and off the field as well. Their bullying tactics are world renowned. They mentally sap u up. So much that it has made Botham to make a pretty bold prediction of 5-0 in favor of the English in the upcomin Ashes series. I can only laugh at such pathetic predictions y the so called Greats of the Game. Well, I still dont think he would quite match up with Sunny Gavaskar in it. I dint mean the greatness but I was referring to the stupid remarks made to the media. Sunny - Hats off.. U r an absolute legend in it. Hmm, let me c. The last couple of series bfor the Indian tour were with the Bangladeshis n Windies. Both were a clean sweep if I remember and both were away tours. Not bad for a dying team I suppose. Come the Ashes, we will know the actual extent by which this Aussie team is dying, if in fact that is happening at all. I for one am looking with real eagerness towards this. In fact, for the nth time, it is again a chance for Tricky Ponting n his boys to show y the Aussies have, are and will alwes be a touch of class above the rest :)

My prediction: 2 - 0 in favour of Aussies with 3 other drawn. Watch this space out. If rain helps them out ;) This Aussie team has been the THE BEST THERE WAS, THE BEST THERE IS and THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE..
