The Scientists Take Over: C. S. Lewis Denounced Transhumanism in 1945

The fact that a technocratic system of government is being constructed is becoming clearer by the day. We see daily open proclamations for the earth to be geo-engineered, humanity to be medicated through the water supply, and the very genetic code of the planet re-written. As Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote in his 1970 book Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era, “The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values.”

George Orwell, C.S. Lewis, Aldous Huxley and H. G. Wells were all contemporaries. Each of them, through their various literary works, contributed to the debate – or lack thereof – on this rising power structure. In their lifetimes, the project for the technetronic era was set into motion.
C. S. Lewis’ 1945 book That Hideous Strength ties in ideas that he put forth in another of his works titled The Abolition of Man. Hideous Strength is a work of fiction set amidst a supernatural battle between good and evil. However, as you will see, George Orwell himself saw “nothing outrageously improbable” in the mundane plot of an elite group of technocrats to seize control of life itself. Lewis’ work is a classic example of art imitating life.

Lewis’s thought as expressed in The Abolition of Man, as well as That Hideous Strength was clearly influenced by the rise of the so called “Science of Man” that took place during his lifetime. The same can be said for the other previously mentioned authors. This great work to discover the inner workings of man in order to better control him was initiated by the immense wealth of the Rockefeller empire in the early 20th Century

That Hideous Strength revolves around the National Institute for Coordinated Experiments (NICE) and the organization’s plot to seize control of all life.

Lewis writes, “What should they [the elite] regard as too obscene, since they held that all morality was a mere subjective byproduct of the physical and economic situations of men?… From the point of view which is accepted in hell, the whole history of our earth had led up to this moment.”
What exactly is this profound moment Lewis refers to? In short it is a time when mankind transcends biology. It is a revolution against the natural order. Interestingly, Lewis was one of the earliest writers to denounce transhumanist philosophy. He wrote in Hideous Strength (1945), that the elite of society will merge with technology and eliminate the masses which they call “dead-weight.”

“A few centuries ago, a large agricultural population was essential; and war destroyed types which were then useful. But every advance in industry and agriculture reduces the number of work-people required. A large, unintelligent population is now a dead-weight. The importance of scientific war is that scientists have to be reserved. It was not the great technocrats of Koeingsberg or Moscow who supplied the causalities in the siege of Stalingrad. The effect of modern war is to eliminate retrogressive types, while sparing the technocracy and increasing its hold upon public affairs. In the new age, what has hitherto been merely the intellectual nucleus of the race is to become, by gradual stages, the race itself. You are to conceive the species as an animal which has discovered how to simplify nutrition and locomotion to such a point that the old complex organs and the large body which contained them are no longer necessary. The masses are therefore to disappear. The body is to become all head. The human race is to become all technology.” p. 156-7

These ideas are ever more prescient today. Bill Joy, the cofounder of Sun Microsystems, published an article in 2000 titled “Why the future doesn’t need us.” A recent conference in Russia hosted the herald of the transhumanist era Ray Kurzweil. The Global Future 2045 Congress spoke of “The critical moment… when machines take on an artificial intelligence that matches or exceeds the brainpower of humans. No one in the academic community doubts that this will happen – the question is not if, but when.” Eventually, scientists “…will focus on improving humans…”
The Global Future conference also discussed the rise of “new barbarians” that are “easily deceived.” “Their video-game mentality means they could easily start to wreak havoc…” As Svetlana Smetanina reported from the conference, “If the proportion of people like this comes to encompass 50 percent of the Earth’s population, then a new “middle ages” are almost guaranteed.” Are these individuals the “dead-weight” to be rid of?

George Orwell, famous for his stunningly accurate portrayal of a future police state in 1984, commented on Lewis’ book Hideous Strength. His commentary was published in the Manchester Evening News in 1945 with the headline “THE SCIENTISTS TAKE OVER.” Orwell wrote,

“All superfluous life is to be wiped out, all natural forces tamed, the common people are to be used as slaves and vivisection subjects by the ruling caste of scientists, who even see their way to conferring immortal life upon themselves. Man, in short, is to storm the heavens and overthrow the gods, or even to become a god himself.
There is nothing outrageously improbable in such a conspiracy. Indeed, at a moment when a single atomic bomb – of a type already pronounced “obsolete” – has just blown probably three hundred thousand people to fragments, it sounds all too topical. Plenty of people in our age do entertain the monstrous dreams of power that Mr. Lewis attributes to his characters, and we are within sight of the time when such dreams will be realisable.”

Indeed we are living in a time when these dark dreams are completely realizable. To a great extent they have already become a vivid reality.

I enjoyed this song because it reminded me of our situation with God. When I heard this song, and listened carefully to what was being said, I started thinking about how I felt about God during most of my life; really not liking God and hating Christians. I didn't want to love their God! And that's the whole point, we don't really ever have to love him. But if he's the only thing that is, and will be, and is the key to fulfillment in life as we are created to love him, then who can really ever love us? All flesh will will fail us, even our own. When he pulled the wings off the fly, removing us from the heights of glory in Eden, it was for our benefit. He limited the effects of our creative potential, putting space and time in order to temper the effects of our thoughts. He also protected the whole of mankind, yet born, from being separated from him for all eternity.

Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:22–24 (ESV)

But, many never ask why, and just simply hate Him. When on the cross, people said that he could save others, why not save himself. Oh, if they only knew that he was there to save them, not the other way around. For pities sake, they should save themselves.

“He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him. For he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ ” And the robbers who were crucified with him also reviled him in the same way. Matthew 27:42–44 (ESV)

He created us for his joy and his pleasure and joy. He has great plans for us, and he loves children, who play and play. And for those of who love him, we say he never missed a note, we love his song of salvation, it is not off key.

Introduction: Analysis of Team Jacob

"It all begins with a choice...."

The public fascination with Twilight is certainly a modern phenomenon, but hardly a new one. For at least the past 60 years the media and public have been consuming modern depictions of creatures from ancient lore with increasing gusto. What interests me is that not only does the phenomena persist, but how these creatures have been romanticized; transformed from ghoulish creatures of death and destruction into sympathetic love interests.

I am a product of the 80's and grew up from a very young age with movies like 'Teen Wolf'. I can tell you, I WANTED to be Teen Wolf. I mean, who wouldn't want to go from zero to number one hero. When I was 11, I also spent a lot of time at the library and because of my fascination with these kinds of creatures I eventually found books on magic and sorcery. I went deeper and found books that dealt specifically with the history of lycanthropy and studied the ancient rituals that people would undergo to provoke the transformation. As a result of my early inculcation to werewolves, vampires and witches in conjunction with a fractured home life, I was impacted in very powerful ways. Fantasy and reality were blurred. I realized I wasn't a werewolf, a vampire, or had any magical powers, but if given a choice at that time I would have given up my humanity for them. It is at this point people are most vulnerable, because one's identity begins to fracture instead of coalesce to accommodate the various expressions of self that we need to operate in society; ergo the phenomena of the private and public expressions of self. When that process is fractured by trauma, especially sexual, the spirit of the beast moves through the spaces between personalities to plant the seed in people's hearts. Through ritual feeding the beast wrestles control of the personality by way of its hunger in order to inflict terrible violence and slaughter.

The more I learn about human nature and alternative history I am convinced that werewolf lore is not so much speaking about 'magic' per se, but used as symbolism to define a psycho/spiritual state of individuals who perpetrate acts of violence so egregious they are hard to define. It is my hope that by taking you through the history of were-ism, its transformation and recapitulation, you will see the modern connection and understand the occult and esoteric truth and unveil its mask: that in fact lycanthropy is directly speaking to spontaneous acts of violence, particularly against women and children. I believe there are reasons for the phenomena and that it is not a coincidental by product of our animal heritage that will be weaned out by evolutionary shifts. Rather, it is a spiritual reality we are warned about through scriptures that becomes realized corporeally and that the servants of the beast are actively trying to unleash its spirit in us and through us.

Historical Were-ism

Stories of were-ism or animal transformation can be found in almost every culture spanning continents across time. This rules out cultural cross contamination and points more to the fact that this phenomena is innate in all human beings. To be fair, I do realize that hunter-gatherer and horticultural social orientations have traditions where they take on aspects of the animal.

I do not have a problem with representing affinity with animal traits that are necessary in the context of tribal survival, or paying respect through ritual and dance - and admitting that does not mean that I necessarily endorse it either. There is a higher truth that orders over, but yet incorporates nature; it is not advisable to worship nature itself as nature is also created, withers and will die.

For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more? He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3)

Regardless, it is not the positive aspects of animal symbolism that are actively promoted in our culture, it is the darkness.

I also want to point out that these tribal traditions also speak to the dark side of animal metamorphosis, and the lack of balance in representing indigenous culture by their western fetishists is alarming as it paints a false reality and debases the culture they lift up as beacons of wisdom. However, because we live in the age of Western Imposition it is critical to understand the roots of Western conceptions of were-ism; which is overwhelmingly dark, unlike its indigenous counterpart that has some redeeming qualities.

Tracing the Myth through Time

The first instance of were-ism, specifically the wolf metamorphoses, that appears in mythology is in Book I from Ovid's Metamorphosis, which is an anthology of myths and creation stories re-appropriated in order to deify Julius Cesar. It was completed in 6 A.D. It is well worth the read if you have the time and interest. It begins much the same way the Bible begins, but the god who brings order to chaos is called the unknown god. The elements, land, air and water are separated and creation begins. Man is the crowning achievement of creation, but something is terribly wrong and man becomes violent. Jupiter threatens to wipe man out with a flood, and it is here that the story turns its attention to Lycaon, the King of Arcadia, who presided over barbarous cannibalistic practices. He was transformed into a werewolf by Jupiter, who was angered by human sacrifice. His sons offered Jupiter, disguised as a traveler, a banquet containing human remains. They were also changed into wolves and Jupiter then precipitated a great flood to cleanse the world(1):

"When the noise had subsided, quieted by his royal authority, Jupiter again broke the silence with these words: ‘Have no fear, he has indeed been punished, but I will tell you his crime, and what the penalty was. News of these evil times had reached my ears. Hoping it false I left Olympus’s heights, and travelled the earth, a god in human form. It would take too long to tell what wickedness I found everywhere. Those rumors were even milder than the truth. I had crossed Maenala, those mountains bristling with wild beasts’ lairs, Cyllene, and the pinewoods of chill Lycaeus. Then, as the last shadows gave way to night, I entered the inhospitable house of the Arcadian king. I gave them signs that a god had come, and the people began to worship me. At first Lycaon ridiculed their piety, then exclaimed ‘I will prove by a straightforward test whether he is a god or a mortal. The truth will not be in doubt.’

"He planned to destroy me in the depths of sleep, unexpectedly, by night. That is how he resolved to prove the truth. Not satisfied with this he took a hostage sent by the Molossi, opened his throat with a knife, and made some of the still warm limbs tender in seething water, roasting others in the fire. No sooner were these placed on the table than I brought the roof down on the household gods, with my avenging flames, those gods worthy of such a master.

"He himself ran in terror, and reaching the silent fields howled aloud, frustrated of speech. Foaming at the mouth, and greedy as ever for killing, he turned against the sheep, still delighting in blood. His clothes became bristling hair, his arms became legs.

He was a wolf, but kept some vestige of his former shape. There were the same grey hairs, the same violent face, the same glittering eyes, the same savage image."

There are several biblical stories that are contained within this myth:

Since Ovid wrote well after the Old Testament it is unclear to what degree Judaism influenced the creation story, but in the New Testament Paul certainly makes the correlation and highlights specifically the fact that Romans paid tribute to the Unknown God of Ovid's Metamorphosis and attempts to reveals that God to them:

So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “ ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “ ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’ Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.” (Acts 17:22-31)

Another ancient document, 'The Natural History' by Pliny the Elder, published circa 77-79 A.D, makes a reference to the history of the Versipellis, known today as the werewolf. Pliny was incredulous about the existence of the werewolf, which is strange because he seems to believe in other fantastic creatures without batting an eye. Regardless of his skepticism he does give the traditional history which is essentially a recapitulation of Ovid's account:

"That men have been turned into wolves, and again restored to their original form, we must confidently look upon as untrue, unless, indeed, we are ready to believe all the tales, which, for so many ages, have been found to be fabulous. But, as the belief of it has become so firmly fixed in the minds of the common people, as to have caused the term "Versipellis" to be used as a common form of imprecation, I will here point out its origin. Euanthes, a Grecian author of no mean reputation, informs us that the Arcadians assert that a member of the family of one Anthus is chosen by lot, and then taken to a certain lake in that district, where, after suspending his clothes on an oak, he swims across the water and goes away into the desert, where he is changed into a wolf and associates with other animals of the same species for a space of nine years. If he has kept himself from beholding a man during the whole of that time, he returns to the same lake, and, after swimming across it, resumes his original form, only with the addition of nine years in age to his former appearance. To this Fabius adds, that he takes his former clothes as well. It is really wonderful to what a length the credulity of the Greeks will go! There is no falsehood, if ever so barefaced, to which some of them cannot be found to bear testimony.

So too, Agriopas, who wrote the Olympionics, informs us that Demænetus, the Parrhasian, during a sacrifice of human victims, which the Arcadians were offering up to the LycæanJupiter, tasted the entrails of a boy who had been slaughtered; upon which he was turned into a wolf, but, ten years afterwards, was restored to his original shape and his calling of an athlete, and returned victorious in the pugilistic contests at the Olympic games."

Luciferian Connections

It is also interesting to note at this time that Ovid died in exile, circa 17 A.D., in an area that is now known as Romania, which also happens to be where many of the tales of werewolves and vampires of modern lore are centralized. The Romanian government renamed a town of Canara to Ovidiu in his honor. Romania is also the territory that Prince Charles, of the House Windsor (founded 17 July 1917 by King George the V, in order to obscure their German ancestry), has recently laid claim, via blood linage, to Count Vlad Dracul (the dragon), the father of Vlad the Impaler. I will flesh out the significance of this later. Though I cannot resist mentioning that Prince Charles also has a passion for the Carpathian Mountains, which brings to mind Nicolae Carpathia who is the Anti-Christ of the famed 'Left Behind Series'.

I wonder how much Tim Lahay and Jerry Jenkins knew when they outlined that series, because if we review a synopsis of Carpathia one can't help but see some similarities between the accounts of Ovid and Pliny about who the werewolf is: especially with the predominance of Jupiter as the god of the one who becomes the wolf.

We also see Nicolae and The Carpathian Mountains resurface in connection to a modern day sorcerer King; Jean-Bédel Bokassa who was a friend and ally of Nicolae Ceausescu, a Romanian politician who built a powerful cult of personality and had such titles as "Geniul din Carpați" which translates to "The Genius of the Carpathians". Jean-Bédel Bokassa was also accused of cannibalism.

At first glace it is unclear why I mention this as significant until one knows that luciferians through history equivocate Jupiter/Saturn with Lucifer. In Arthur C. Clarke's 2010 you see this quite plainly, as he is a Luciferian of the highest caliber and one must always look at his work through this lens to really understand it:

The book ends with a brief epilogue, which takes place in AD 20,001. By this time, the Europans have evolved into a species that has developed a primitive civilization, most likely with assistance from a monolith. They are not described in detail, though they are said to have "tendril"-like limbs. They regard the star Lucifer (formerly the planet Jupiter) as their primary Sun, referring to ours as "The Cold Sun". Though their settlements are concentrated primarily in the hemisphere of Europa which is constantly bathed in Lucifer's rays, some Europans have begun in recent generations to explore the Farside, the hemisphere facing away from Lucifer, which is still covered in ice. There they may witness the spectacle of night, unknown on the other side of Europa, when the Cold Sun sets. The Europans who explore the Farside have been carefully observing the night sky and have begun to develop a mythology based on their observations. They correctly believe that Lucifer was not always there. They believe that the Cold Sun was its brother and was condemned to march around the sky for a crime. The Europans also see three other major bodies in the sky. One seems to be constantly engulfed in fire, and the other two have lights on them which are gradually spreading. These three bodies are the moons Io, Callisto, and Ganymede, the latter two of which are presently being colonized by humans.

Humans have been attempting to explore Europa ever since Lucifer was created in 2010. However, none of these attempts has been successful. Every probe that has attempted to land on Europa has been destroyed in the atmosphere; as it is later shown in 2061 and 3001 manned spacecraft that attempt to land have been instead diverted by an external force. The debris from every probe falls to the surface of the planet, and the debris from some of the first ships to be destroyed is venerated by the Europans. Finally, there is a Monolith on the planet, which is worshipped by the Europans more than anything else. The Europans assume, correctly, that the Monolith is what keeps humans at bay. Dave Bowman and HAL lie dormant in this Monolith. The Monolith is the guardian of Europa, and will continue to prevent contact between humans and Europans for as long as it sees fit.

This synopsis becomes even more chilling when one understands that Europa (Europe) is an ancient Phoenician Goddess depicted as a woman riding a bull, or a beast. Though not called Europa in The Book of Revelation, we do see a picture of a woman riding a beast, and typically a woman can by a symbol of a country/region:

But the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come. This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. (Revelation 17:7-10 ESV)

Renaissance of the Wolf

It is unclear how the story of the werewolf transitioned through the Dark Ages as there is very little documentation during that period of slow decay. There is one reference circa 970 A.D., toward the end of the dark age about the Son of Simeon, King of the Bulgarians, a mighty magician who was able to transform himself into a wolf whenever he desired. We also have another reference to Vseslav of Polotsk, circa 1039-1101, another sorcerer King who is said to have transformed into a wolf, as recounted in "The Song of Igro's Campaign, Igor son Svyatoslav and grandson of Oleg" - excerpt from line 660-665:

Vseslav the prince judged men; as prince, he ruled towns; but at night he prowled in the guise of a wolf. From Kiev, prowling, he reached, before the cocks [crew], Tmutorokan. The path of Great Hors, as a wolf, prowling, he crossed...

The most powerful resurgence of the werewolf lore occurred during the medieval and renaissance period. Coupled with the unification of the old Roman Empire by way of the Vatican, subsequent witch trials and black magic mania, there were vicious consequences that are all too well known and documented, so I will not reinvent the wheel, but I do want to take another look the circumstances around the events because we see a different story unfold when looking at the major players that helped precipitate that horrid period. The Renaissance period is essentially defined as a time when former Roman territories that make up Europe rediscovered their Roman and Greek roots; intellectually, spiritually and scientifically. What I find interesting is that during this time lycanthropy was used as a diagnosis of individuals who performed outrageous and heinous crimes: usually rape, incest, slaughter and cannibalism or a combination of all four perversions. Overwhelmingly, violence perpetrated against woman and children are found in almost every case of lycanthropy of this period. Here are the most famous and well documented cases that were recorded.

1521 - Pierre Burgot:

A werewolf burned at Besançon, France, in 1521 together with Michel Verdun. In his confession, Burgot stated that 19 years earlier he had been collecting his flock of sheep during a great thunderstorm, when he was accosted by three demon horsemen, clad in black. One of these demons asked what troubled him, to which Burgot replied that he was afraid that his sheep might be attacked by wild beasts. The demon told him that if he would serve him as master and renounce God, Our Lady, the company of Heaven, and his baptism, all his sheep would be safe. He would also have money. Burgot acknowledged the demon. Later, in company with Michel Verdun, he attended a Sabbath of warlocks, where he stripped naked and was anointed with an unguent, after which his limbs became hairy and his feet like those of a beast. Verdun also changed his form, and they both ran like the wind. They committed various crimes, tearing a seven-year-old boy to pieces, killing a woman and abducting a four-year-old girl. The unfortunate girl was fully eaten by two of them.

1572 - Gilles Garnier, the hermit of Dole:

According to his testimony at trial, while Garnier was in the forest hunting one night trying to find food for himself and his wife, a spectre appeared to him offering to ease his troubles and gave him a magic ointment that would allow him to change into the form of a wolf, making it easier to hunt. Garnier confessed to have stalked and murdered at least four children between the ages of 9 and 12. In October 1572, his first victim was a 10-year-old girl whom he dragged into a vineyard outside of Dole. He strangled her, removed her clothes, and ate the flesh from her thighs and arms. When he had finished he removed some flesh and took it home to his wife. Weeks later Garnier savagely attacked another girl, biting and clawing her, but was interrupted by passersby and fled. The girl succumbed to her injuries a few days later. In November, Garnier killed a 10-year-old boy, again cannibalizing him by eating from his thighs and belly and tearing off a leg to save for later. Finally, he strangled another boy but was interrupted for the second time by a group of passersby. He had to abandon his prey before he could eat from it. Garnier was found guilty of “crimes of lycanthropy and witchcraft” and burned at the stake.

1589 - Peter Stubbe - "Werewolf of Bedburg":

In 1589, Stumpp had one of the most lurid and famous werewolf trials in history. After being stretched on the rack, but before actual torture commenced, he confessed to having practiced black magic since he was twelve years old. He claimed that the Devil had given him a magical girdle, which enabled him to metamorphose into "the likeness of a greedy, devouring wolf, strong and mighty, with eyes great and large, which in the night sparkled like fire, a mouth great and wide, with most sharp and cruel teeth, a huge body, and mighty paws." Removing his belt, he said, made him transform back to his human form.

For twenty-five years, Stumpp had allegedly been an "insatiable bloodsucker" who gorged on the flesh of goats, lambs, and sheep, as well as men, women, and children. Being threatened with torture he confessed to killing and eating fourteen children, two pregnant women, and their fetuses. One of the fourteen children was his own son, whose brain he was reported to have devoured. Not only was Stumpp accused of being a serial murderer and cannibal, but also of having an incestuous relationship with his daughter, who was sentenced to die with him, and he coupled with a distant relative, which was also considered to be incestuous according to the law. In addition to this he confessed to having had intercourse with a succubus sent to him by the Devil.

1598 - Jacques Roulet:

Again in 1598, a year memorable in the annals of lycanthropy, a trial took place in Angers, the details of which are very terrible. In a wild and unfrequented spot near Caude, some countrymen came one day upon the corpse of a boy of fifteen, horribly mutilated and bespattered with blood. As the men approached, two wolves, which had been rending the body, bounded away into the thicket. The men gave chase immediately, following their bloody tracks till they lost them; when suddenly crouching among the bushes, his teeth chattering with fear, they found a man half naked, with long hair and beard, and with his hands dyed in blood. His nails were long as claws, and were clotted with fresh gore, and shreds of human flesh.

This is one of the most puzzling and peculiar cases which come under our notice. The wretched man, whose name was Roulet, of his own accord stated that he had fallen upon the lad and had killed him by smothering him, and that he had been prevented from devouring the body completely by the arrival of men on the spot. Roulet proved on investigation to be a beggar from house to house, in the most abject state of poverty. His companions in mendacity were his brother John and his cousin Julien. He had been given lodging out of charity in a neighboring village, but before his apprehension he had been absent for eight days. Before the judges, Roulet acknowledged that he was able to transform himself into a wolf by means of a salve which his parents had given him. When questioned about the two wolves which had been seen leaving the corpse, he said that he knew perfectly well who they were, for they were his companions, Jean and Julian, who possessed the same secret as himself. He was shown the clothes he had worn on the day of his seizure, and he recognized them immediately; he described the boy whom he had murdered, gave the date correctly, indicated the precise spot where the deed had been done, and recognized the father of the boy as the man who had first run up when the screams of the lad had been heard. In prison, Roulet behaved like an idiot. When seized, his belly was distended and hard; in prison he drank one evening a whole pail full of water, and from that moment refused to eat or drink. His parents, on inquiry, proved to be respectable and pious people, and they proved that his brother John and his cousin Julien had been engaged at a distance on the day of Roulet's apprehension.

"What is your name, and what your estate?" asked the judge, Pierre Hérault.

"My name is Jacques Roulet, my age thirty-five; I am poor, and a mendicant."

"What are you accused of having done?"

"Of being a thief--of having offended God. My parents gave me an ointment; I do not know its composition."

"When rubbed with this ointment do you become a wolf?"

"No; but for all that, I killed and ate the child Cornier: I was a wolf."

"Were you dressed as a wolf?"

"I was dressed as I am now. I had my hands and my face bloody, because I had been eating the flesh of the said child."

"Do your hands and feet become paws of a wolf?"

"Yes, they do."

"Does your head become like that of a wolf-your mouth become larger?"

"I do not know how my head was at the time; I used my teeth; my head was as it is to-day. I have wounded and eaten many other little children; I have also been to the sabbath."

The lieutenant sentenced Roulet to death. He, however, appealed to the Parliament at Paris; and this decided that as there was more folly in the poor idiot than malice and witchcraft, his sentence of death should be commuted to two years' imprisonment in a madhouse, that he might be instructed in the knowledge of God, whom he had forgotten in his utter poverty.

While all these accounts can be contested, and are contested by modern witches, claiming that many of these confessions were given under extreme torture and are unreliable because they were giving the tortures what they wanted to hear; fantastic tales of demons, Satan and magical transformation. As to the actual victims? They were more than likely killed by a wild animal and not a person. While I admit that this may be the case, I wonder why are they typically women and children? If it is animal attack we should see at least the elderly, or infirm among the victims, but there is no case of were-ism during this time that substantiates that. There is a very specific demographic involved here. However, these are not the only cases we see where violence is afflicted on women and children in particular. There is another famous account, and while the perpetrators of the crime did not transform, they were fueled by occult practices.

Gilles de Rais, 1404–1440:

A member of the House of Montmorency-Laval, Gilles de Rais grew up under the tutelage of his maternal grandfather and increased his fortune by marriage. Following the War of the Breton Succession, he earned the favor of the Duke and was admitted to the French court. From 1427 to 1435, Gilles served as a commander in the Royal Army, and fought alongside Joan of Arc against the English and their Burgundian allies during the Hundred Years' War, for which he was appointed Marshal of France.

In 1434/5, he retired from military life, depleted his wealth by staging an extravagant theatrical spectacle of his own composition and dabbled in the occult. After 1432 Gilles engaged in a series of child murders, his victims possibly numbering in the hundreds. The killings came to an end in 1440 when a violent dispute with a clergyman led to an ecclesiastical investigation which brought Gilles' crimes to light. At his trial the parents of missing children in the surrounding area and Gilles' own confederates in crime testified against him. Gilles was condemned to death and hanged at Nantes on 26 October 1440.

In 1438, according to testimony at his trial from the priest Eustache Blanchet and the cleric François Prelati, de Rais sent out Blanchet to seek individuals who know alchemy and demon summoning. Blanchet contacted Prelati in Florence and convinced him to take service with his master. Having reviewed the magical books of Prelati and a traveling Breton, De Rais chose to initiate experiments, the first being in the lower hall of his castle at Tiffauges, to summon a demon named Barron. de Rais provided a contract with the demon for riches that Prelati was to give to the demon at a later time.

As no demon manifested after three tries, the Marshal grew frustrated with the lack of results. Prelati responded the demon summoned, named Barron, was angry and required the offering of parts of a child. De Rais provided these remnants in a glass vessel at a future invocation. All of this was to no avail, and the occult experiments left him bitter and with a severely depleted wealth.

In his confession, Gilles maintained the first assaults on children occurred between spring 1432 and spring 1433. The first murders occurred at Champtocé-sur-Loire; however, no account of these murders survives. Shortly after, Gilles moved to Machecoul where, as the record of his confession states, he killed, or ordered to be killed, a great but uncertain number of children after he sodomized them. Forty bodies were discovered in Machecoul in 1437. The first documented case of child-snatching and murder concerns a boy of 12 called Jeudon, an apprentice to the furrier Guillaume Hilairet.Gilles de Rais' cousins, Gilles Sille and Roger de Briqueville, asked the furrier to lend them the boy to take a message to Machecoul, and, when Jeudon did not return, the two noblemen told the inquiring furrier that they were ignorant of the boy's whereabouts and suggested he had been carried off by thieves at Tiffauges to be made into a page.In Gilles de Rais' trial, the events were testified to by Hillairet and his wife, Jean Jeudon and his wife, and five others from Machecoul.

In his 1971 biography of Gilles de Rais, Jean Benedetti tells how the children who fell into Rais's hands were put to death:

[The boy] was pampered and dressed in better clothes than he had ever known. The evening began with a large meal and heavy drinking, particularly hippocras, which acted as a stimulant. The boy was then taken to an upper room to which only Gilles and his immediate circle were admitted. There he was confronted with the true nature of his situation. The shock thus produced on the boy was an initial source of pleasure for Gilles.

Gilles' body servant Étienne Corrillaut, known as Poitou, was an accomplice in many of the crimes and testified that his master hung his victims with ropes from a hook to prevent the child from crying out, then masturbated upon the child's belly or thighs. Taking the victim down, Rais comforted the child and assured him he only wanted to play with him. Gilles then either killed the child himself or had the child killed by his cousin Gilles de Sillé, Poitou or another body servant called Henriet. The victims were killed by decapitation, cutting of their throats, dismemberment, or breaking of their necks with a stick. A short, thick, double-edged sword called a braquemard was kept at hand for the murders.Poitou further testified that Rais sometimes abused the victims (whether boys or girls) before wounding them and at other times after the victim had been slashed in the throat or decapitated. According to Poitou, Rais disdained the victim's sexual organs, and took "infinitely more pleasure in debauching himself in this manner ... than in using their natural orifice, in the normal manner."

In his own confession, Gilles testified that “when the said children were dead, he kissed them and those who had the most handsome limbs and heads he held up to admire them, and had their bodies cruelly cut open and took delight at the sight of their inner organs; and very often when the children were dying he sat on their stomachs and took pleasure in seeing them die and laughed”. Poitou testified that he and Henriet burned the bodies in the fireplace in Gilles' room. The clothes of the victim were placed into the fire piece by piece so they burned slowly and the smell was minimized. The ashes were then thrown into the cesspit, the moat, or other hiding places.The last recorded murder was of the son of Éonnet de Villeblanche and his wife Macée. Poitou paid 20 sous to have a page's doublet made for the victim, who was then assaulted, murdered, and incinerated in August 1440.

I could go on as there are many accounts of these types of cases that span history and if the reader wants to explore that more on their own they will find a similar pattern during this time. Though not particularly related to this project, I do want to mention that while researching the history of this I could not help but stumble on more famous examples of brutality; Nero, Tiberius, and most notably, Caligula. Of course, Caligula was eventually executed by his own inner circle after a 4 year reign of terror, but I took note that there is virtually no response from the religious or spiritual establishment regarding his, or any Emperor's behavior at all. During the age of the Church we do see the rot exposed, so the Church became a counter balance to the kind of perversions that power and lack of restraint are capable of producing. It is a Jesus stated:

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet." (Matthew 5:13 ESV)

Salt was valuable because of its preservative qualities. It is not necessarily just that it makes one thirsty, which is the modern popular interpretation (though I think its valid, and interesting), but its real value at this time was that it stopped corruption so meat (the flesh) could be kept for longer periods of time. I believe the corruption was not just political, economic and social, but spiritual. We also see an interesting example of this in Genesis:

"And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth." (Genesis 6:12 ESV)

This was a time before the revelation of the Christ when there was only a glimmer of the Gospel encoded into nature and within the protoevangelium. The reason I note this as important is because if we look at most major civilizations we see the corrupt state of those in power, as the law (the restrainer) has no power over them and they are able to act unrestrained. The ethics of our age, that so many take for granted, is a Grace of God because true evil has not been known like the time of Genesis where the corruption of the flesh was total and complete. To a large degree it has been restrained, and I believe supernaturally by the Spirit of God:

"For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way." (2 Thessalonians 2:7 ESV)

We also see this promised by Jesus:

"Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged." (John 16:7-11 ESV)

Is this to say the "Church" is exempt from corruption and perversion? Hardly! It is never wise to quickly aggregate something as dynamic and fluid as 'the social' into static blocks or categories. That is simply laziness. Jesus also warns us of this truth MANY times, and for this particular post I think the wolves in sheep's clothing is apt:

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." (Matthew 7:15 ESV)

...or the Birds that come to pick the seed of the Gospel out of the hearts of men:

“A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it." (Luke 8:5 ESV)

Jesus explains this in particular:

"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved." (Luke 8:11-12 ESV)

If Jesus uses the example of Birds in place the Devil, I cannot help but think of the parable of the mustard seed:

"He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches." He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measure of flour, till it was all leavened." (Matthew 13:31-33 ESV)

I wonder if these parables are warnings. One would not think so, and again, I think there are wonderful examples that people can bring through these parables, but given that in the parable of the sower the bird is equivocated with the devil, followed by a parable of a woman who hid leaven in flour, indicating a sneak who intentionally ruined the bread over time, it is more than likely a warning, or perhaps giving us a condition of the future church. Leaven was a symbol of sin, and I do not think Jesus would have changed that given his observance of the Law and especially Passover (a highly prophetical ritual) where you eat un-leavened bread. It was also used as an allegory for his crucifixion and communion, as he was the sinless one. I also find the word association between these parables very telling. If you notice in the parable of the sower, as the seed was sowed it fell along the path and was trampled underfoot then eaten by the birds. We also see the same language used as the eventual fate of the salt:

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet."

We do see a prophecy within the parables of the New Testament about the Church that's not too positive and given that we have nothing but history to view the Church, it is an apt description too. For isn't it exactly what has happened in our age, the Salt has lost its Saltiness, largely in part of the representation of the Church by its own practitioners. It is these events, the Witch Trials and Spanish Inquisitions, that are pointed to as the most barbaric bloodletting at the hands of the Church in history. And that's largely true, to a degree. Not every person accused of were-ism was burnt at the stake, but committed as insane, as in the case of Jacques Roulet. Also, not everyone who practiced the occult was burned at the stake. Certainly there were political assassination by accusation, people who wanted their neighbors property and others who were simply opportunistic sadists that rode the crimson wave to satiate their perverse desires. But, upon closer inspection, there is more going on than just simply 'The Church gone wild'. Despite what we have been taught and feel we know without a doubt to be true, there is a secret history we have not been told about that frames these events within a larger context. The truth is that we largely see the practice of the occult coming out of the Aristocracy or land owning lords, while the peasants, un-propertied, unrepresented and uneducated are burned at the stake.

The Hidden History of the Witch Trials

....a doctrine which is everywhere the same and everywhere carefully concealed....

There were also people who openly promoted the occult during this time, seminal being "The Three Books of Occult Philosophy", written Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa circa 1486-1535. He was able to publish works on the occult and able to navigate the halls of power in order to survive; protected by rulers such as Henry the VIII. In fact the book was dedicated to Charles the V, The Holy Roman Emperor and from the most powerful dynasty of Europe in that day and for several centuries: The Habsburg Dynasty. What's most unsettling about Agrippa's work is the use of the Kabbalah, Jewish mysticism, as a method of dealing with higher order of magic; contacting demons and angels. It is his work that most influenced what we see today as magic, and interestingly many of the modern symbols associated with Satan; an entity he documented how to contact and felt was redeemable.

This tradition was continued by others, such as John Dee, consultant to Queen Elizabeth I (daughter of Henry VIII) and the one who, through astrology, picked the date of her coronation. We also see this with Eliphas Levi, who was not a Jew, but a pseudonym used in order to give his writing on magik more 'umph'. He also influenced The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which gave us such wonderful characters such as Aliester Crowley. In the opening lines of his work, 'Transcendental Magic, its Doctrine and Ritual', he tells us the truth:

"Behind the veil of all the hieratic and mystical allegories of ancient doctrines, behind the darkness and strange ordeals of all initiations, under the seal of all sacred writings, in the ruins of Nineveh or Thebes, on the crumbling stones of old temples and on the blackened visage of the Assyrian or Egyptian sphinx, in the monstrous or marvelous paintings which interpret to the faithful of India the inspired pages of the Vedas, in the cryptic emblems of our old books on alchemy, in the ceremonies practised at reception by all secret societies, there are found indications of a doctrine which is everywhere the same and everywhere carefully concealed."

Of course the symbolism has gone from the temple walls to our t-shirts. Needless to say, occult influence was wide spread and people like him were in demand. Having a magician, sorcerer or influencers over nature in the halls of power is not anything new, one only has to think about every major society in history, from the Aztecs to the Pharaoh's of Egypt. Each had their own priest class that was similar, but markedly different than the priest class as outlined in Judaism and Christianity that forbids tampering with such things, and for good reason, as it usually ends with slaughter and perversion. It is the ancient priest class that has kept alive the perennial philosophy threaded through so many distinct empires across space and time. However, what we see happening during the 1400-1700 is a shift in the justification of magic, as magic is really only natural science, as Agrippa is so quick to point out. There is the use of geometry, physics, chemistry, et cetera, but upon closer inspection, it is not just about science exclusively. There is a spirituality and spiritual consequences to their work. We also see this with something like Star Trek, which claims to be a pragmatic show about the advances of technology that has overt spiritual messages and themes in virtually all is franchises.

The public then, and now, is grossly unaware that there were two worlds co-existing at the time. You have The Holy Roman Emperor and other members of the Aristocracy actively supporting individuals who publish works on the occult for their own use while the people who are ruled under them are systematically allowed to be tortured and then burned for even a hint or suggestion of involvement in the occult. That side of history has been intentionally blotted out and laid exclusively at the feet of the Church, I believe, for a very specific reason. This is pretty radical, but I can come to no other conclusion other than that the period of the Witch Trials was actually an occult ceremony implemented on a mass scale.

The beginning of the witch trials seems to have started around 1184 A.D. as a response to the rise of Christianity's old friend Gnosticism, in the form of Catharism. Many of the old ideas from antiquity survived and thrived after the Crusades, of which many of the crusaders were French. Not only do we see a mysterious explosion of Gothic architecture, without predecessor in France, but an explosion of Gnostic ideas and practices around this time. There was a power imbalance that lead to the expulsion of the Knights Templar (Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon), who was headquartered out of Jerusalem and had gained land, money and influence with Rome. They had outposts and buildings all throughout Europe and Ethiopia. On Friday, October 13, 1307, the orders were given to take them out. They were tortured and burned at the stake. This is where we get the cultural phenomenon of Friday the 13th being an evil, or unlucky day. This should be a telling sign of who actually won the day, as today it is celebrated by the depiction of a killer of children. A faceless man who is killed and continually resurrects. The Templars were eventually disbanded in 1312 and driven underground.

The reason the Templars is of the utmost importance is because much of the magical systems we see coming from the advisers to Kings are perversion of Kabbalah, Jewish mysticism that dates back to King Solomon, from whom the order hails. The resurgence of Kabbalah, and Gnosticism, transition of architecture and banking in the medieval period has the finger prints of the Templars, who were driven underground. The order survived, infiltrated the halls of power and under their guidance unleashed the horrors of the Witch Trials on the public, while they were allowed to practice sorcery unscathed. Human sacrifice is an intrinsic practice of the occult/nature worship, and though I have not done an exhaustive study, I would not be surprised if many of the decrees outlawing sorcery were executed on important occult holidays. I also find it ironic and sickening that Henry VIII's Act of 1542 was the first to define witchcraft as a felony, a crime punishable by death. It was forbidden to:

... use devise practise or exercise, or cause to be devysed practised or exercised, any Invovacons or cojuracons of Sprites witchecraftes enchauntementes or sorceries to thentent to fynde money or treasure or to waste consume or destroy any persone in his bodie membres, or to pvoke [provoke] any persone to unlawfull love, or for any other unlawfull intente or purpose ... or for dispite of Cryste, or for lucre of money, dygge up or pull downe any Crosse or Crosses or by such Invovacons or cojuracons of Sprites witchecraftes enchauntementes or sorceries or any of them take upon them to tell or declare where goodes stollen or lost shall become ...

Also The Witchcraft Act of 1562, passed early in the reign of Elizabeth I is a farce given that her advisor, John Dee, chose her coronation date through astrology and was a notorious practitioner of the arts. We also see occult books dedicated to Charles V, The Holy Roman Emperor, without consequence. The biggest farce of all is that upon closer inspection we see occult and Kabbalistic tendencies of Witch Hunters themselves. An unusual case is Jean Bodin, who was an influential thinker, both political and economic ("Quantity Theory of Money"), and torchbearer of humanistic rationalism. Despite all his secular rationalism he wrote the seminal work on demonology, De la démonomanie des sorciers (On the Demon Worship of Sorcerers), that helped to fan the flames of Witch-hunts in general. Some question how this could come from such a rational person, an early acolyte of the enlightenment? There is a work I've yet to get a hold of that attempts to deal with this question: Humanism and Satanism: Jean Bodin's Contribution to the Witchcraft Crisis. It is one of those 'mysteries' that historians have a difficult time wrapping their heads around.

Either (a) the more involved he became with the inner circles of power, saw first hand that in fact sorcery as he understood it did exist, blew the whistle and the subsequent carnage of his work was honestly unintended. Or (b) he was fully aware of what he was doing and in fact goading the Church and intentionally fanned the flames of witch hunts to keep scrutiny off the aristocracy and hidden fraternal orders, which were made up of the economic, philosophic and scientific elite of their day. I am leaning toward the latter because the more you get into his later work you see kabbalistic tendencies and sympathies. In his work Six Books of the Commonwealth, Bodin makes an argument in Book III, Chapter VII: "Concerning corporate associations, guilds, estates, and communities", defending the Templars and essentially praising their ability to govern through corporations, colleges, communities, and societies. And interestingly, their ability to overthrow governments. Europe, with a relatively small population, came to rule the globe through these vehicles shortly after this publication.

The gain of this deception is multi-fold. It trods the seed of The Gospel under the foot of men so the fruit of the spirit is sparsely expressed during this age, while creating a blood soaked soil for a different kind of seed that has fully taken root and blossomed; secular humanism. There was an estimated 40,000-60,000 deaths related to the crimes of witchcraft and were-ism. The passive observer assumes that these deaths were the fault of religious ignorance, and that is partly true if one does not fully realize the level of deception and duplicity in the ruling class, and certainly if they knew who their adviser were. The thousands of deaths were, to the degree one realizes the depth of 'the art', a sacrifice in order to birth the spirit of an age. It is a farce of the early Church, which was seeded by the blood of the martyrs. Many of the victims were executed and tortured in similar ways as the early Christians. It is also retribution for the death and eradication of the Templar's at the hands of Christendom. In its place a system has emerged that has taken millions upon millions of lives, unceasingly and without mercy since. It has removed all restraint and gives us a justification and rationale for our participation of slaughter by way of bureaucracy. Hannah Ardent would call this process 'The Banality of Evil'. It also helped to fuel the anti-Semitism and persecution of the Jews throughout Europe. Much of the magical symbolism was appropriated from The Kabbalah by men who were not Jews. Regardless of this fact, many Jews suffered terribly when Spain undertook its own inquisition, which did not directly target at the Occult, but the Jews. The movement really gained steamed around 1480 and laid waste many thousands of lives. European anti-Semitism continues to this day.

The Spirit of the Law

Given all I've said, I do have to point out that there is scriptural precedent in The Bible about putting to death practitioners of the dark arts. It states quite plainly:

“You shall not permit a sorceress to live." (Exodus 22:18 ESV)

Being largely a book of Law, it's more clearly defined here:

“When you come into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD. And because of these abominations the LORD your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the LORD your God, for these nations, which you are about to dispossess, listen to fortune-tellers and to diviners. But as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do this." (Deuteronomy 18:9-14 ESV)

It is very difficult to put this in perspective, and even saying that is totally nuts. What perspective do we need to justify killing someone for practicing their beliefs? There's a couple of reason why this is difficult to understand. First, we have been inoculated through media. We all grew up with a re-defining of what the Witch is.

Certainly, there's the Wicked Witch of the East, but by and large we have shows like Bewitched, I Dream of Genie, Charmed, et cetera, that paint them in a different light.

Its morality is very gnostic.

All of this, of course, is fantasy. We do not really understand the kind of sorcery that existed in those times, but we have glimmers of it that poke through every once in a while. For example, the plight of Albino's in Tanzania, who are hunted and killed because Sorcerers believe that they possess magical properties. Fingers, ears, penises, are used as charms to bring fortunes to the wearers. We also see the trend raising in Uganda, with reports of increased child sacrifice. We also see something very similar in the account of General 'Butt Naked' in Liberia, who has admitted to murdering children, drinking their blood and eating their hearts, and urging his child soldiers to do the same. This ritual, he believed, would make them impervious to bullets. Hence his nick name, 'Butt Naked', as he went into battle without clothes. He also said that he made a pact with the Devil, or what he understood to be the personification of evil. It is estimated that he killed about 20,000 people, roughly 1/3 of the number of people killed throughout the entire history of the Witch Hunts.

I could certainly continue with this exercise for a long time because it's cross cultural/continental. True sorcery and necromancy is never pretty. The Bible is not talking about our garden variety goth or wiccan; they are simply deceived. It is speaking to the nature of the crimes listed above, which are found among the druids and other nature worshipers the world over throughout history. Also, it was not enough to just accuse someone of sorcery, as often happened in the Witch Hunts, but the claims had to be investigated diligently and substantiated by two or three witnesses:

“If there is found among you, within any of your towns that the LORD your God is giving you, a man or woman who does what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, in transgressing his covenant, and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or the moon or any of the host of heaven, which I have forbidden, and it is told you and you hear of it, then you shall inquire diligently, and if it is true and certain that such an abomination has been done in Israel, then you shall bring out to your gates that man or woman who has done this evil thing, and you shall stone that man or woman to death with stones. On the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses the one who is to die shall be put to death; a person shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness. The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst." (Deuteronomy 17:2-7 ESV)

Another difficulty we have is understanding the context of an ancient agrarian society. A city was comprised of anywhere between 5,000-20,000 people. We are not talking New York City or Los Angeles. If children start missing and someone is running around with a penis necklace, you've got a serious problem. There are also no prisons to put people in 'time-out' for decades like we do today. It is critical to understand the Law within the social, economic and technological context for which it was intended. If there was a situation where you had a Jeffery Dahmer running around armed with a cultural and religious justification (many moon and sun cults justified human sacrifice) for his actions in a town of 5,000-10,000, no jail or prison to speak of, in the middle of nowhere, yeah, you're going to take him out. In fact, given the time and context it is pretty impressive that capital punishment was tried before judges after it was investigated diligently and only if there were three witness. It is unfortunate that people do not recognize this as an incredible leap forward and take for granted the age we live, which is the fulfillment of the Law juxtaposed against The Gospel of Christ that reveals to us the Spirit of the Law. With that said, I also have to question if human justice is perfect in any form? Jesus spoke to this quite clearly:

Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. (Matthew 5:25 ESV)

Now, I must point out that since a biblical justification was given for the atrocities of the Witch Hunt it is shocking that the whole of the law was not applied. In fact, it was advisers to the Kings and Queens who helped form these decrees that were the real occultists and published their works in order to further an agenda I doubt they could clearly see or even fully understand. The decrees were justified by sensationalizing horrific killers that have always existed through history, across economic boundaries, by transforming them into caricatures of werewolves. We have an admonishment and warning in 2 Timothy that, if incorporated into a larger framework, would have save a lot of lives and altered the course of history:

Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the world of truth. But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have swerved from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some. But God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from inequity."

Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:14-26 ESV)

The Trance-Formation of Man

When looking at the end of the passage from 2 Timothy there's an inference that though people are responsible for their actions the worldview, or 'spirit of the age' was a driver behind those actions. Not everyone suddenly goes out and does something totally nuts, those actions are the culmination of many choices, decisions and events that happen in a life. This is why we are urged to pursue the things of righteousness and practice faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Those that do not practice those things, but their opposites, increasingly succumb to the power of the prince of the air:

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. (2 Timothy 3:2-5 ESV)

We are given specific warnings about the state of individuals as the days march ever closer to the time where the fullness of sin is reached. It is the final moments before the judgments are poured back onto the Earth that are typically known as the 'Last Days'. I would argue the last days started at the fall of creation as the world has always had difficulty, but as we march toward the fullness of sin, the characteristics listed above, though always present, will be endemic of society across the world. This is certainly evident today, and it's global. In fact, many of the characteristics listed are encouraged! Some look at the past 100 years and wonder how things turned so quickly. It didn't happen quickly, again, seeds were planted long ago, watered by the blood of innocents slain by western leaders who opened themselves to the imps, much like the small figure around Cesar Augusts' feet, who are unseen, unknown little figures who direct the leader subtly and carefully. These advisors answer to a different master and carry out his will:

Lower Right Leg: Power and Principality

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 ESV)

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44 ESV)

What I find interesting is that during the medieval period, before the witch trials, is the rapid rise of religious architecture of mind boggling design without a known prototype. The reason I point this out is because, though seemingly christian, many people barely take note of the grisly creatures found on so many of the temples and cathedrals, or if they do notice, think they allegories warning us about demons and devils. That is true, to an extent. Many of the cathedrals and temples display busts of demons from the Goetia, or The Lesser Key of Solomon. In some cases all 72 demons are represented on these cathedrals without displaying a single crucifix.

The public thought they were churches, but in fact, they were temples dedicated to demons where black masses were held. I know this sounds radical, but evidence is stacked against any notion that these places were churches of a Christian origin.

This was also captured in the movie adaptation of Umberto Eco's Novel, "In the Name of the Rose". Umberto also wrote Foucault's Pendulum which deals with similar alternative renaissance history. There is a scene where the novice monk (a son of a powerful land owner), Christian Slater, is baffled and terrified when he stumbles on the images at the monastery he was staying. Again, ALL of the busts and carvings are from the Goetia. There is also another monk of a Satanic Order (Templar Assassin's), played by Ron Pearlman, who was later burned at the stake. If you haven't seen the movie, he does do a satanic ceremony and he comes from an order of political assassins that uses a framework of socialist rhetoric. They make him seem like an idiot, but if you listen carefully you will hear him speak multiple languages fluently and reconstructed together coherently. He bows and kisses the robe of the monk in White (The White/Black dualism), who is the new order of the enlightenment, played by Sean Connery.

Though I do not agree with his conclusions, Chris Everard has done an excellent job of exposing the true nature of many of these building. Also, Graham Hancock's Sign and the Seal: The Quest for the Lost Ark of the Covenant, Chapter II Holy Ark and Holy Grail, will give you much more information on these cathedrals. If you have a hard time believing this, please research it for yourself and make up your own mind. One of the Cathedrals that's reviewed in the video below is the Narbonne Cathedral in the south of France, placing it directly during the height of the Templars influence. This is not the only temple by the way, there are many others, and again, keep in mind these building literally popped up over night with no predecessors:

The reason I mention the buildings built is not only does it coincide with the history I have presented so far, but it also informed the average person of the day and also gives more credence to my premise that there was deliberate deception on the part of the power elite.

Part of the way these things are hidden is by placing it in plain view and calling it one thing, but knowing it to be the complete opposite: A manipulation of gnostic dualism principles. These buildings substantiates what Eliphas Levi revealed as well:

"..the cryptic emblems of our old books on alchemy, in the ceremonies practised at reception by all secret societies, there are found indications of a doctrine which is everywhere the same and everywhere carefully concealed." - Eliphas Levi

This constant exposure essentially implants images in people's minds. It is an archaic form of mass hypnotism. The basic premise of hypnosis is that when a steady and rhythmic influx of stimuli assaults the audio/visual center of our brains it essentially mutes the stimuli and stores it in the subconscious mind so that the conscious / social mind is unencumbered and free to operate in social spaces, thereby leaving the subject open to suggestion or implantation. It is the subconscious mind that drives the conscious mind and effects behavior. Occult, esoteric and demonic symbols were implanted in Cathedrals, churches, paintings, making them present in subtle forms in everyone's environment. It has spread and it's present almost everywhere today.

Quite literally the area and people of Europe were (and are being) bathed in very specific occultic imagery constantly, which is essentially what we were told by Arthur C. Clarke: "Europa which is constantly bathed in Lucifer's rays" - we would call this 'Product Placement' today, which measurably affects people's behavior and molds perception. This is the 'magic'. When we think of magic we think of either sleight of hand or something that is happening supernaturally. The real power of the occult is neither; it is really just psycho-physical manipulation through pharmacopoeia (drugs), consistent subliminal messages either though images or sound, then subversion and incorporation of cultural super-structures which act as massive conduits that spread and legitimize its message. We have been warned about this in various ways in modernity, mainly through media. For example, Jerzy Kosinsky, who at the age 22 earned two degrees in history and sociology, who also married an American Steele heiress, Mary Haward Weir, gives us stunning insight and a warning at the end of 'Being There' where the industrialists are discussing who to run for president. They are wondering if the public is ready to receive the one, the light - Lucifer.

This is the scene where they are discussing their plans. What I could say about this movie and book is a whole post in itself, but for the purpose of this post, what's important is to bring cohesion and show continuity of the message. Rand is also a play on Rand Corp., one of the most vicious and powerful government think tanks that exists.

Is it any wonder that the Bible instructs us to guard what we see? It makes a correlation that what we see and hear affects our heart, and that it is from the heart that actions come:

My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you. Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil. (Proverbs 4:20-27 ESV)

If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. (Matthew 5:29 ESV)

“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! (Matthew 6:22-23 ESV)

The Wolf Metamorphosis and Gnostic Dualism

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20 ESV)

Understanding the hidden world that existed before and during the time of the witch trials is important because it frames our understanding of events within the true context. It also could help explain the relative explosion of very violent acts from the average citizen that were ascribed to werewolves at this time. If we look at some of the case histories we see similar threads:

1. Drugs/Ointments
2. Sexual Deviancy/Violence
3. Ceremony/Initiation
4. Constantly bathed in Occult Symbolism and imagery in their local environment.

While there have always been people who inflict terrible suffering and violence on others, and especially from people who have no restraints (economic, religious, social), there is an increase of a particular kind violence from the average citizen from late 1400-1500's and on. Reading the case histories, we also see that these people seem to be overcome by something and then once the appetite is sated, it fades and then 'they' come back. The cycle then repeats and the number of victims increase as they lose control to their appetite as time goes on. This cycle is also noted by the FBI's own analysis on serial killers. As an aside, I cannot help but mention that the characteristics of psychopathy in the FBI's documentation are essentially similar description of Lucifer/Satan in the bible.

Saturn

As we see the occult symbolism spread, Christianity virtually laid waste and under increasing assault from the occult/scientific priest class and in its place the rise of spiritism and theosophy, we also see an increase in the number of serial killers, of all types, in society. I will spare you the statistics and details; I can't help but cry when I see them. If you are interested, I ask that you do your own research in this area, which will only verify what I am telling you. Here is one resource that lists modern day cannibals, and that is just one resource. There are many others. To call it an increase is an understatement, it is more like an explosion.

I believe that there are several reasons we see such an explosion. Not only did European power and influence spread along with increasingly sophisticated modes of social control through psychology and sociology, but an increase in population, economic disparity and technology; in particular print and then the moving pictures. When we see the moving picture technology begin to proliferate society we literally see an explosion of the serial killer, and since it has gone global and more sophisticated, we see a raise in violent acts in society in general. Today we call them 'Lone Wolves'. I cannot help but make the correlation that to the degree of circumference luciferian and occult symbols influence can reach in conjunction with weakening social structures we see an increase of violence in the general population. I am not saying that everyone within the sphere of influence turns into a crazy person, again, I've stated in the beginning of this post that there are specific conditions necessary for the person to act out:

"...because ones identity begins to fracture instead of coalesce to accommodate the various expressions of self that we need to operate in society; ergo the phenomena of the private and public expressions of self. When that process is fractured by trauma, especially sexual, the spirit of the beast moves through the spaces between personalities to plant the seed in people's hearts. Through ritual feeding the beast wrestles controls of the personality by way of its hunger in order to inflict terrible violence and slaughter."

What I have attempted to do was explain in more detail what the spirit of the beast is and make the case that its servants ritually feed the spirit of the beast in people's hearts by deconstructing the pillars of society and surrounding us on all sides with their art. We are now literally enclosed in the ritual through strategic use and placement of magic sigils while exposing us to the most extreme violent images daily, if not hourly. Today it is coupled with institutional drugging of millions of children:

It is the ritual magic that went from the caves (in reference to Plato and other mystery school ceremonies), to temples, to the walls, to books, then media and now on our t-shirts. It is literally everywhere. And I do have to point out at this time that it is not only sexual violence that fractures people's minds, but alcohol (a.k.a. spirits, interestingly) and most especially drugs:

Though the werewolf diagnosis has been relegated to fantasy its essence survives in movies. In most werewolf movies the perpetrators are mainly men, though you do see a woman werewolf, it is seldom. They remain predominately and overwhelmingly male. They mainly attack women and children, and it is highly sexual. After they kill, they go back to human form. From mania to the rational mind, able to walk among us.

Something has happened in the past three decades or so. The wolf story has been flipped on its head and we are made to sympathize with the wolf, or see the wolf is the hero, not the villain. The trend started well before Hollywood, with people like Mary Shelly, Bram Stoker (who had an interest occult philosophy and possibly a member of the hermetic order of the golden dawn), Charles Dickens, J.M Berry and Hans Christian Anderson, who are all contemporaries. To what degree they were aware of what they were doing, we can never know, but what these people did in effect was to re-write many of the ancient myths, stories, and romanticized them; transforming the ghoulish into the desirable. They turned the hunters into the hunted. This was a trend across the creative spectrum at this time and is typically known as the romanticist movement. The romantic period is defined as follows:

It elevated folk art and ancient custom to something noble, made spontaneity a desirable characteristic (as in the musical impromptu), and argued for a "natural" epistemology of human activities as conditioned by nature in the form of language and customary usage. Romanticism reached beyond the rational and Classicist ideal models to elevate a revived medievalism and elements of art and narrative perceived to be authentically medieval, in an attempt to escape the confines of population growth, urban sprawl, and industrialism, and it also attempted to embrace the exotic, unfamiliar...

By reframing these medieval images in a romantic context, the essence of the creature changes from horrifying, bizarre and strange; for example the mermaid, who in legend are totally scary and murderous half human-half fish freakoids:

To something completely contrary to its true historical context:

By flipping around what was recognizable as evil and communicated caution has confused the reality of what these things speak to, the 'essence' of the thing. If it ever is communicated in pop culture now it is only through the spectacle of the technological phantasmagoria and fashion.

This process effectively mutes, or completely shuts off our psycho-physical and spiritual red-alert mechanism. People no longer act accordingly because the reality becomes unreal due to over exposure to the fantasy. When the percentage of the population that is susceptible is trance-formed into the image of the beast, the population around them doesn't know how to react. For example, in Tenerife, an island off the coast of Spain, a Bulgarian man decapitated a woman in broad day light in a busy shop with people around and no one did anything. The man ran down the street, screaming, with the head. It took a while for people to react and stop him. When it first happened people said that it didn't look real, or that they thought they were watching a movie. He also claimed to be a prophet of god:

This is not the first time something like that has happened. In Canada a young man was decapitated on a greyhound bus late at night and then cannibalized in front of everyone. Again, witnesses described as though it were a movie and took a while to react. Li, the man who perpetrated the crime, said he was acting on God's orders:

Also, recently in Bend Oregon, someone stabbed himself to death during an open mic night. People clapped as he lay prostrate on the floor, blood streaming from his wounds, because they thought it was a performance or theater. Of course they realized later that it was real:

Again, we also see something similar when someone started shooting at people randomly in Hollywood, Dec 8th 2011. This news clip is completely bizarre. A man hanging out of his window shouted at the shooter to shoot him, that he wanted to die! Then told the shooter that he came from God:

Of course violent things have always happened in society, but the degree of intense, random violence from the average citizen is a growing trend with no sign of letting up, rather, it seems to be speeding up. Now, thinking back to the case studies of the average citizen of the medieval and renaissance age, they were approached by people in black, given some type of ointment after being put through some type of ceremony, then released back out into the public. We have something very similar happening today, most especially in the cases where people spontaneously decapitated and/or cannibalized someone. They were almost all under the care of a psychiatrist, or on intense psychotropic drugs. If you pay close attention to these people and follow their cases, they were known to be extremely disturbed but then released back out into the public. In the most extreme cases I listed here, they claim to be agents of God, effectively diminishing the Gospel by associating it with violence which reinforces the negative media spin about Christians and also hardens people's hearts to receiving the gospel message.

The process of flipping Good and Bad is a principle of gnostic dualism. If you look at the picture of Baphomet you will see black/white dualism; the white/black crescent moons, serpents, et cetera.

The modern occultist will reference the illustrator's (Eliphas Levi) explanation that the Baphomet is a symbol of nature. You also see white black dualism in the form of yin-yang, also commonly displayed with the dragon. The yin-yang also has a very naturalistic explanation:

"While "yin" would be dark, passive, downward, cold, contracting, and weak, "yang" would be bright, active, upward, hot, expanding, and strong. The shape of the yin and yang sections of the symbol, actually gives you a sense of the continual movement of these two energies, yin to yang and yang to yin, causing everything to happen.(3)"

I do not doubt the more natural explanations, but when investigating further you will find that there is another aspect of its use that has some disturbing implications. While both symbols are said to be explanations of the natural world, and that certainly makes sense, the symbol's appearance in literature and structures well before its popularization belies the exoteric explanation.

For example, you see the yin-yang represented on a door handle of a catholic church built around 1600-1700. For more information on this reference (I could not find the specific church) watch The Wine of Babylon / Total Onslaught - Walter Veith. Though I do not agree with 100% of everything he says, in that I do not have the same vitriol he has for the Catholic Church, he has however done his research and created an excellent resource:

Not only do you see it represented on churches 300 hundred years ago, you can also see it places where you would least expect to find it. For example, the logo of the Klu-Klux-Klan, which is an organization that was steeped in theosophy and occultism from its inception.

The idea of the inter-connectivity of race and spirit was re-popularized by Blavatsky as she described in great detail a hierarchy of spiritual/physical evolution. On the top being the Aryans: Caucasian/Indian/Persians/Asians (the seat of creation and civilization), and at the bottom of physical/spiritual evolution, African/Arab and indigenous hunter-gatherer groups. The Mesopotamian and Asian region was the birth place of gnostic duality and this is why you see the black/white dualism in her and other's work. Because it was promoted by theosophy and their myriad offshoots and merged so well with the 'scientific' understanding of race devised by contemporary secularists in order to justify slavery and colonization, many of the symbols not only survived, but thrive to this day; such as the ouroboros (serpent eating its tail), swastika, om, 'star of david' with the white/black dualism and the ankh. Blavatsky's work influenced not only Hitler, but Persia as well, hence the name change to Iran, which translates to Aryan. Aryan is also a definition of the God of the Aryan people, Ahuramazda, which the car company, Mazda, derived its name and symbolism.

Ahuramazda is the uncreated God as described in Zoroastrianism, a.k.a, Mazdaism, the religion that birthed the Manichean philosophy and where we basically get the idea that there is a battle between Sons of Light (order) versus the Sons of Darkness (chaos). Persia (Iran/Aryan) is where chess was developed, which of course is a game between white/black dualism. You also see the same principles (white/black dualism) in the game Go and Backgammon. I am not making a case the Zoroastrianism is totally all bad or that white/black dualism in itself is 'evil', or that the naturalistic implications of yin-yang aren't valid. What I do believe happened is a perversion of its principles that created a dynamic that effectively manipulates mass population commonly known as the Hegelian dialectic, or problem-reaction-solution. By creating chaos you drive people to a solution to order the chaos; a solution and order that was always desired but could never be achieved without the chaos.

I think this is something the Templars learned, maximized, and continued to refine through a network of fraternal societies that systematized it. This is the reason why I think we see, in some of the cases of renaissance were-ism, a deliberate manipulation of the individual. Do I think these poor souls were approached by literal demons clad in black and the ointments were magical? Not exactly. It's more than likely the men clad in black were practitioners of the occult who manipulated fragile people through drugs and horrifying costumes/rituals to push them into committing heinous crimes in order to achieve social chaos that resulted in a violent reactionary movement in the Church, a response that was completely managed by the same occultists who were publishing their work on the occult and acted as advisers to the power elite.

Ordo Ab Chao: Order out of Chaos

I know that this can be difficult to believe, but a real world example I can think of is WWI. It was precipitated by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The assassin, Gavrilo Princip, was a young and unstable individual who was easily managed by a secret society of assassins known as the "Black Hand", headed by Dragutin (Dragon) Dimitrijević.

The same individuals created a second society called the "White Hand", which was 'opposed' to the Black Hand, but in effect had the same assassination policies and actively worked to remove and put into power individuals who formed the history of the Balkan region that has lasting affects to this day.

Political assassinations have always happened throughout history. The difference now is that it is done by proxies. This creates a space of plausible deniability for the perpetrating power or group that benefit from the assassination and subsequent chaos. The skull and cross bones was a symbol of the fraternal brotherhood of assassins which has evolved through history, on the seas controlling shipping interests and on land. Today, because the population is so large and they are so few, it is now necessary to control us in the same way they have controlled the political and economic situation from the 1400's on.

It is these societies in particular that funded, trained, researched and executed programs that went from laser focus projects and individuals to mass scale psychological warfare. Many asylums were literally compounds funded by the government. The fall out of the programs in the general population is collateral damage that they use to justify greater social control and surveillance. Again, this is difficult to believe because it denotes an intentional conspiracy which is hard to prove because documentation is difficult to obtain.

Regardless, secret society (White/Black Hand and Skull and Bones and others) activities were legitimized as extra governmental organizations that evolved and today are known as the C.I.A and F.B.I. - The project to manipulate human consciousness, that I believe was at the root of the cases of were-ism in the medieval and renaissance period, continued and is known today as MK-ULTRA, which was a secret CIA project to produce citizen assassins through the '...use of many methodologies to manipulate individual mental states and alter brain functions, including the surreptitious administration of drugs and other chemicals, hypnosis, sensory deprivation, isolation, verbal and sexual abuse, as well as various forms of torture.' It is not a coincidence that LSD was one of the main drugs used in MK-ULTRA, which was also intentionally promoted to the general public in the 1950's.

Interestingly, a book that was published in 2010, that has nothing to do with WWI or international politics, called White Hand Society: The Psychedelic Partnership of Timothy Leary & Allen Ginsberg is about the following:

Sadly, the book is actually favorable of the trend. Today we do not have 'demons' clad in black running around handing out ointments in order to manipulate human consciousness, we have the appropriation and subversion of cultural movements so people willingly take mind altering drugs and then are used by proxy to spread their message and implant sigils into popular culture in order to literally enclose the general population in magikal circles.

The pentagon, C.I.A., MI5 and other intelligence agencies (the network of fraternal brotherhoods) employ similar templar and black magik methods to manipulate information, mainly through the media, in order to control the general population. This is known as COINTELPRO, which is a manipulation of information in order to generate confusion and ultimately psychological fatigue and apathy. We are in an age where the same type of medieval techniques used to unleash the spirit of the beast in individuals has been refined and polished. Taking another look at the list of conditions necessary to induce psychosis is it any wonder why we see the systemic and surreptitious and overt administration of drugs and other chemicals. Television is known to induce hypnotic states, in fact, they are intentionally designed that way.

Many are now addicted to television and computers so now even social interactions happen in isolation. In effect, many people are sensorily deprived or the inverse, over stimulated, and many have a deep rooted sense of isolation. Coupled with all this, if not directly, we are certainly indirectly exposed (via the hypnotic television, movies and gaming) to verbal, sexual abuse and torture beyond anything human beings in history were exposed to. Is it any wonder why we see an increase in random violence?

What I hope to get across here is that the argument and debate about the effect of violence in the media is managed as well, since the problem is multi-fold and multi-dimensional. It is all these things in conjunction that produce an effect in a percentage of the population. They are intentionally trance-forming people in order to release the latent beast nature in human beings and nothing will change until people understand the problem in its true context. People do not literally transform into the wolf, like the movies would have us believe, but the essence of the wolf is released and results in terrible suffering and violence. I will end this section with the interview between James Dobson and Ted Bundy conducted hours before he was executed. Bundy actually warns us about what's happening in society and the effects violent pornography and alcohol produced in him. Interesting things to note: You will notice that Dobson has a difficult time understanding why other psychologist and institutions are not willing to admit the correlation. If you have read everything up to this point, you will not be so confused. You will also see the 'essence' of the werewolf syndrome, as I've described it, in Bundy's own account. Despite his warning, the message was sidelined and ultimately forgotten.

The Howling and Bundy Correlation

There is one werewolf movie in particular that does attempt to substantiate many of the topics raised in this post so far, and that is 'The Howling'. It does a great job in making the correlation between pornography and were-ism, or pornography and sexual violence. In the beginning an anchor woman who has become an obsession of a sexual offender agrees to assist the police in a sting. The meeting place is a pornography shop. Of course she is isolated from all help and witnesses the stalker transform into the wolf amid a back drop of violent pornographic images. I also thought it was interesting that the wolf pack was headed up by a psychologist and behavior expert, who was caring for the stalker. He himself is a beast as well and you see occult ceremonies taking place at the compound which is later burned to the ground. And last, it gives us a stark warning at the end and explains that there does exist a secret society that is attempting to unleash the beast within the general population. That in fact, the choice has been taken from us. People of course mock it as silly, conspiratorial nonsense. The media head tries to cut her off the air and finally succeeds after her transformation and assassination is broadcast live. It cuts to a scene in a bar where people discuss whether it was fake or not, while the wolf priestess sits among them...and smiles.

The Wolf and Industrial Music

I know that there is a lot of information in this blog, and there is much that I have left out, but my hope is that by taking you through the history you will understand what someone like Nikolas Schreck is talking about in the above clip. Without a background education into occult 101 it really becomes difficult to understand the world view he's coming from. It is also important to understand that he's not a 'lone-wolf', but part of a tradition of 'black-clad' demons who are intentionally working to subvert specifically Judaism and Christianity (it's interesting that he does not mention Islam at all...but that's a whole other topic). There is tremendous documentation from Christian sources that talk about the occult in the music industry, so I will not cover that in this post. But the above clip reinforces my premise as he is very candid about what they are doing, and in fact working behind the scenes to alter people's world view.

You will also notice that he references the general malaise of society, confusion about race, et cetera, essentially chaos, and promotes himself as an agent of order, a new order. He also references the Thule society, which was the occult society that helped give shape to the Nazi party, that Hitler was a part of, and the reader should have a better understanding why race matters to these people and how they justify their actions. Of course, every ethic he listed is the antithesis of Christianity, which is basically the definition of anti-christ; in place of Christ. Industrial music is a horrifying genre of music, and most avid listeners and fans are extremely anti-christian: violently and angrily anti-christian. Many people would write off the above video because it was on public access and not 'main stream', however, Schreck is responsible for mentoring Brian Hugh Warner and helped to create the persona 'Marilyn Manson'.

Shcreck is married to Zena LeVay, the daughter of Anton Levay, the founder of the Church of Satan. The name 'Marilyn Manson' is a merger of two of Schrecks interests, Manson, whom he knew personally as he performed a black magic ceremony in prison with him and wrote a book advocating his philosophy, and Marilyn Monroe, who was Anton LeVay's lover before she shot to fame. If you listened to the Schreck interview, some of what Marilyn Manson does begins to make more sense, and you quickly realize that Brain Hugh Warner is a proxy for Schreck who remains to this day out of the public spot light and little known. The idea that Brian came up with all this stuff on his own is patently false.

Fruition of Nikolas Schreck of Radio Werewolf

Schrek's influence and project is also felt in some of the most disturbing movies of the 90's: Seven, and 8MM. Both associate Christianity to the murders. Again, we see in 8MM a connection between violent pornography and violence. The movie is about a private investigator, played by Nicholas Cage (an avid occultist by the way), hired by the wife of an industrialist who found a snuff film (a pornographic film where the woman is mutilated, tortured and killed during the sex act) in her husband's safe shortly after his death. During the investigation Cage begins to be transformed as he goes deeper in the underground world of pornography. Toward the end of the movie, when Cage finally tracks down the 'video artist' who produced the snuff film, the soundtrack is dominated by industrial music; the kind Scherck was producing and promoting a decade before. To me this demonstrates that they achieved their goal of taking the music, which at the time of the interview was relatively obscure, into the main stream. Of course, the killer's Mom (who is a Christian), has no idea that her son, who looks like an average Joe, is a sadistic porn actor who participates in the most brutal kind of slaughter. When Cage finally has the upper hand and has the killer down on the ground with a gun to him, he wants to know one thing....why? To which the killer says, there is no reason. I do what I do because I like it. Don't try to make sense of it.

While the movie was revealing and an attempt to take issue with the connection between violence and pornography, given what I have outlined in this post, the violence perpetrated begins to make sense. The director, whether intentionally or not, continues to promote the spirit of ignorance that the general public has to the reality of what is going on. We have been given a world view based in evolution, which at its foundation insists that there really is no purpose in creation. Everything we see is just random acts that are governed by blind forces. There are no intentional connections or actions. However, it should be clear by now that there is something going on that is incredibly intentional. Most people would call themselves agnostic, meaning, they don't really know what to think about God, are completely ignorant of, blind to, and resistant to evidence that shows a continuity of spiritual agenda that extends through space and time. These are the people who are most easily manipulated, because even being shown proof they cannot and will not see the intentionality of events all around them. They have eyes, but do not see. They have ears, but do not hear. The black priests, the Servants of the Beast, prefer it that way and this is why agnosticism is cultivated and promoted. While the general population, whom they care nothing about, is made to feel agnosticism is rational, reasonable and logical, the architects of society are highly religious, highly spiritual, highly educated in both secular and occult philosophy and magik. They also often have a higher moral fortitude, while promoting and encouraging amoral activity in the general population. They are incredibly determined and intentional in everything they do, as the stakes are high. How high? Your soul. That is what the beast wants. YOU are what this is all about. Here is the song that was played predominately in 8MM. It tells you quite plainly what the beast is after. Listen and decide. The choice is yours to make.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 ESV)

Conclusion

This material was very heavy for me to go through. It turns my stomach and sickens my soul. If you are reading this because you searched out key words on the occult or looking for pictures and you know nothing about God, please watch The Father's Love Letter. It is a message encoded into the bible for you. It will show you God's true character, not the image that has been implanted in your mind by media and the servants of the beast. It is the balm for the soul.

I have used non-academic tools and references in order to show that it is possible for the layman to research this without having to be a part of a University system, or purchase books to research. This series, The Servants of Twilight, will continue with an analysis of the Vampire. I chose Twilight because it is something that people are familiar with and it also demonstrates the complete transformation of these creatures. Also because the wolf and the vampire are the two faces of Satan/Lucifer, who work in tandem as they are the black/white dualism that is at the heart of the Hegelian dialectic and problem-reaction-solution. They, acting together, are the spirit of duality, the light and the dark, the chaos and order. Satan is the prowling lion who devours, while Lucifer appears as an angel of light. Satan creates the chaos that no one can solve, so Lucifer can come as the Son of Perdition with the answers. This is the reason why both the werewolf and vampire work in tandem, as demonstrated in Dracula, who was able to transform into the Beast and the Nobleman. I am also giving homage to Dean Koontz's work, The Servants of Twilight, which is an excellent book and interesting movie that deals with a similar topic and shows us how we are being manipulated into having sympathy for the devil by flipping around and confusing the light and the dark. The second series will be up no later than March 2012. I will follow up with Servants of Twilight: The Conclusion, after Part 2, as there are things I would like to clarify that will bring all these points together into a cohesive and hopefully prescient matter: How this relates to the end times and Israel. In the End: A Letter

I was thinking about everything we talked about and have some final thoughts on the matter. The vitriol we feel toward the bankers and the lawyers (modern day sophists) who create the net that catches men is just, as they contrive laws in their favor at the expense of the mass. But, when I thought about it in terms of what was written in the gospels, relating it to our present time, what came out to me was Matthew, the tax collector. He was despised and hated because the tax collectors exacted more than what was necessary, creating a tremendous burden on families and individuals. Of course the technocratic has usurped the theocratic state, but the essence of our times have a similar spirit. People were upset because Jesus brought Matthew under his grace, for how can there be forgiveness when justice must be satisfied? Does forgivness trump justice?

What came to mind was my attitude and demeanor, and I realized that a demanding justice will always be inherently violent and the violence consumes itself like the ouroboros; in that it necessitates itself for its own consumption. The poison of the serpent is this: It is its own consumption. The ultimate consumption. Regardless, there is still the paradox: how can forgiveness and justice be present in the same space? Thoughts churned and I started to think that maybe my perception about the relationship between justice and forgivness is skewed. We do not struggle against a 'system' per se, but against social constructions designed by men who lack love in themselves. Their crimes are not against us, they are against themselves. They have killed love in themselves, and this is the tragedy because they were once children, filled with awe and wonder, but over time, in a thousand different ways they have slaughtered the love in their hearts and they do not possess peace. Their crime is twofold in that their system strangles the love in ourselves and robs of us peace as well. My anger and frustration melted into pity. I realized that justice, though not necessarily always seen, is being exacted and my compassion for the child-men who have pierced their hearts was also present. Justice and forgiveness co-exist, given the proper context.

This was obviously not on my mind earlier today and am grieved that I got swept away in a demanding justice and lost the proper perspective. I am sorry that I got as upset with you as I did. It is shameful and wrong. You are my mother, who brought me into this world through your love and sustain me to this day by it as well. I broke the law, which is love, and did not honor you today. But, it is a reminder that I must hold steadfast and not let the fleeting vapor, this passing world, strangle my love. I know it is forgiven, but I wanted to let you know the other things that go on in my mind, positive things. Speaking of thoughts coming to mind, just now, while writing this sentence James 1:2-4 popped up in my head:

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."

I feel I can say that I am now counting this situation for joy. Love has won the day.

All My Little Words: Redux

*This Blog was inspired by this song. I posted the song twice in order to encourage the reader to listen before and after. The lyrics of the song are posted at the end of the blog in order that you read them and hear the song again in the spirit that inspired this entry.*

Like The Wind

Sometimes spontaneous insights come in the most subtle forms in my everyday life. It's never a pillar of fire or burning bush. I'm not sure I can handle that kind of thing. I would probably have a heart-attack or something, and besides, I think there are more interesting things about God other than his omnipotence; which is clearly displayed throughout all of nature. His Spirit speaks to me more and more about the things I don't know that much about: His character. Now, I listened to the song I posted at the beginning of this post many times before, but something switched in my brain and I thought about the song as if God were singing it to me. The Spirit put the Book of Hosea in my mind, as if the essence of the song and that book were one in the same. What struck me when reading through it was the subtle Gospel story that unfolded. I'm not going to review the whole book, I'll let you read it for yourself if you're interested, just a few things that stuck out to me. For instance, at the beginning of the book Hosea is asked to take a prostitute as a wife. She then gave birth to children, and each child is a condemnation against Israel:

The first son: And the LORD said to him, “Call his name Jezreel, for in just a little while I will punish the house of Jehu for the blood of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel. And on that day I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.” (Hosea 1:4-5 ESV)

The first daughter: She conceived again and bore a daughter. And the LORD said to him, “Call her name No Mercy, for I will no more have mercy on the house of Israel, to forgive them at all. But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and I will save them by the LORD their God. I will not save them by bow or by sword or by war or by horses or by horsemen.” (Hosea 1:6-7 ESV)

The second son: When she had weaned No Mercy, she conceived and bore a son. And the LORD said, “Call his name Not My People, for you are not my people, and I am not your God.”

After the children are born, God follows up with this:

"Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And in the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, “Children of the living God.” (Hosea 1:8-10 ESV) **Blogger's Note: None of the verses were taken out of order, or out of context. I broke them up to help separate out each point which will be expanded on later.

Schizophrenic God?

It's difficult to understand why God would tell Hosea, a prophet, to marry a prostitute who then gives birth to the condemnations of Israel. Before throwing out the Old Testament in all its barbarity, I want to suggest to you that there is more going on here than what one reads on the surface. If there is one thing that I cannot emphasize enough, to the tremendous failing of the modern Church, it is the lack of understanding and fleshing out the multi-dimensional essence of the inspired Word. It is impossible to understand the Bible if one is reading it from a one dimensional perspective; engaging it superficially and then reorienting the content to equally superficial knowledge and understanding. Let's be honest, many Christians have not really studied the Bible, and if they do, they prefer to remain in the waters of the New Testament and then flounder when trying to reconcile its apparently new message with the Old. As a result, the Old Testament is largely ignored. And if you don't believe in God, well, you've got a different problem because your perspective on the content will be with an eye to justify your unbelief. No matter what side of the fence one is on it's time to be honest here; The Old Testament, at face value, is pretty scary, brutal and doesn't always make sense. There are lingering questions that many have difficulty with, such as:

Who knows if it's even translated correctly?
What's the difference between the Bible and Mythology?
Why was God so angry all the time?

Since the Old Testament is read through those filters it's little wonder why the content is pretty difficult to grasp. I understand this issue deeply since I used to be on both sides of the fence: as an adversary to the God of the Bible and then as a Christian attempting to navigate the cultural performance while trying to understand the OT in a modern context. It has been my experience that if one does not entrust his soul entirely to the Gospel it will be impossible to understand the OT in its proper context. This spiritual state is not something that's exclusive for non-believers, in fact, many Christians struggle with this and as a result fall away from or pervert the faith. Scriptures must be illuminated by the Holy Spirit, acting within you, who gives understanding. We might not see truths in scripture even though it is right in front of our eyes, but if you persist in engaging scripture, participate in fellowship, worship from your heart and keep knocking on the door for God to open your eyes, you will see it. It is hidden in plain sight. The truth of this reality is found in the New Testament:

....after the the crucifixion there was much confusion and great sadness. Read the following passage with my argument in mind:

That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.

And he said to them,

“What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?”

And they stood still, looking sad.

Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him,

“Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”

And he said to them,

"What Things?"

And they said to him,

“Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning, and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see.”

And he said to them,

“O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?”

And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther, but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight. They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” (Luke 24:13-32 ESV)

Multi-Dimensional Layering: Scripture and Harmonic Resonance

I find it interesting that people who were part of the proto-church, who were learned in the scriptures, who had seen Jesus and possibly even walked with him had their eyes kept from recognizing him. They also had no idea that the scriptures and prophets were speaking of him despite the fact that Jesus reiterated that truth throughout his ministry. I also find it interesting that he is the one who opened their eyes to another layer of reality by illuminating the subtext of scripture and adding a powerful dimension that inflamed their hearts: himself. Scripture wasn't just words, but Words that expressed themselves in reality. Quite literally, the Word became Flesh:

The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:9-14 ESV)

As an aside, if the inspired word plays itself out in reality, this statement blows my mind, "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." This is an incredible open invitation to every human being, but only to those who desire it, but more on that another time. I think the important point in this is that God will not just sonic boom the sky, set the heavens on fire in order to impress you to win your attention, rather, illumination requires faith in action. This begins by submitting oneself to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and receiving the free gift of salvation. Once a believer, there are several queues we must take from the encounter retold above as a means to drive more depth into our understanding of scripture and our relationship with God:

They were in Fellowship: They were walking together, discussing the things that had happened. I can only imagine what they were talking about. They no doubt had heard of the resurrection, as indicated in the story, and could possibly be discussing what that meant. Was the body stolen, or was it true that he had resurrected? They were discussing these things amongst themselves, and this is something that we need to be doing if we want to come to deeper layers of understanding and application. It is also a promise of Jesus: "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20 ESV).

They were open to a stranger: How often do we scorn someone for 'butting' into the conversation. No doubt their eyes would remain closed if they had responded with, 'Hey Buddy! This is an A/B conversation, so C your way out of it!' The fact that they engaged the stranger without scorning him for not being aware of the incredible events that just took place speaks to the kind of people we need to be: gracious and humble. We have possibly missed out on many wonderful experiences and insight by closing ourselves off and clothing ourselves with the mantel of apathy. We need to keep our hearts open to the stranger, to both individual and ideas.

They pleaded with him to stay: After Jesus went through the scriptures with them and they realized that he was revealing truth to them, they asked him to stay. This is something that we accomplish through prayer and worship. We must continually seek the face of the God, inviting God to be with us and to walk with us. He will not impose himself on a soul. To do so would be violence against your will, and that is something God will not commit. Our will is necessary for God to act in a meaningful way in our lives. Our willingness to be in communion with God is necessary to have a relationship. It was after the communion act, the breaking of bread, that their eyes were opened and they could see him. They were astonished.

God will not impose himself on a heart. He will not rip open your harden eyes. A soul must be moved, agitated, like breaking up hard soil in order to make it soft; able to receive holy seed planted in the garden of your heart. I want to make myself clear: I do not want the reader to assume these bullet points are necessary for salvation. I am speaking about characteristics that cultivate a positive relationship with God that begins by first accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Our salvation is an act of faith, and it is faith in action that will grow the seed in your heart in ways you cannot imagine.

Unfolding God Though Space and Time

The reason I chose to use the word 'harmonic' to describe scripture is that in points of space and time the Word fulfills itself in reality; this means that its truth actually exists in two points of space/time simultaneously. We like to call this prophecy. This is why I said earlier in this post that many people don't understand what the Old Testament is saying; they are not looking for Jesus in them and since they are not looking for him, their blinded eyes only see the violence and the seemingly petty decrees of a vindictive God. They reject it out right as if they are morally superior to God, as they surely wouldn't inflict that kind of suffering on anyone, ever! I can safely say that I understand this position because if the spirit had not put the Book of Hosea in my heart while listening to a secular song I'm sure I would not have understood what was going on at the outset if I had just opened the Bible to that particular book at random and read it. Nor would I understand it if I didn't first understand myself in context of The Cross. So, what does that mean?

First, what struck me was that God commanded the prophet to marry a prostitute. A prostitute in scripture spiritually speaks to the idolatry of our hearts. Given the context of the OT, God made a covenant, a promise, to Abraham. The promise was the reason why God got his people out of Egypt and why God married himself to the people of Israel. This is where we get the idea that the people of God are his Bride. If you have never heard any of this before I invite you to research it for yourselves. It is an exciting study. But generally speaking the Bible says that we tend to go our own way; worshipping everything from ourselves to nature, science, the occult, politics, money, on and on it goes so I'm sure you get the point. We fornicate spiritually, in that we take into ourselves the shadows cast by nature and it results in increased orders of sorrow. We break continually the first 4 commandments, which put sucincently, means we do not love God. Instead we are exploited by other things that we feel will benefit us in specific ways. It is the interchanging dynamic of the physio-psycho exchange that is similar to the act of prostitution. It is important to highlight that Gomer was a Gentile. So the book of Hosea begins by the prophet marrying a gentile prostitute; if you're unfamiliar with this stuff, that's like super bad. It is important to note here that in the New Testament, the Church (composed mainly of Gentiles) is referred to as the Bride of Christ.

After the marriage, there comes the children, each of who's names condemn Israel. First, putting an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel, except for Judah, through who God will save, and interestingly not by military means. And though salvation will come through the house of Judah, they will no longer be called his people and he will no longer be their God. What is very interesting is despite these judgements, the number of Israel's children will be like the sand of the sea, and those who were NOT his people will be called Children of the Living God. Now, even if one does not believe the bible is the inspired Word of God, I would like to flesh out several things at this point:

1. We know that Jesus came first for the Jews, as he came through the Jews, and then the gentile:

"I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” (John 10:14-18 ESV)

And from there he arose and went away to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered a house and did not want anyone to know, yet he could not be hidden. But immediately a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. And he said to her, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.” But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs.” And he said to her, “For this statement you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter.” And she went home and found the child lying in bed and the demon gone. (Mark 7:24-30 ESV) **Blogger's Note: This passage used to offend me when I was a new believer. It is important to understand this in context with what was prophesied, that the gentiles would be grafted in, by faith in him would be called the Children of the Living God.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 ESV) **Blogger's Note: Greek is generally used to denote gentile.

2. He knew he would be rejected by them, and as a result Jesus cursed Israel before the crucifixion because they did not bear any fruit:

On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry. And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. And he said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it. (Mark 11:12-14 ESV)

Then a little later on...

As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots. And Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered.” And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. (Mark 11:20-22 ESV) **Blogger's note: Most scholars feel the Fig Tree represent the nation of Israel, and I tend to agree.

3. He was of the House of Judah:

For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. (Hebrews 7:14 ESV)

4. Salvation came through him:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 ESV)

5. His kingdom would not be established by military means:

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.” (John 18:36 ESV)

6. The children of Israel would still be like the Sand of the Sea:

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9-10 ESV)

We know for a fact that the temple of Jerusalem was destroyed shortly after Jesus was crucified; regardless if one thinks of him as savior or not, fiction or fantasy. History shows this to be true. God has fulfilled his word. There are no more 'tribes' of Israel. God has fulfilled his word. We know that Jesus said that he would not cast any out, but to all those who called upon his name he gave the right to be called Children of God. God has fulfilled this word as well, and certainly we would be hard pressed to number all the Christians who have lived and died up to this point. This speaks to the alliteration of 'the number of his children will be like the sand of the sea', in other words, uncountable. There are other aspects of the Book of Hosea has that indicate a tremendous truth in what we now call the age of grace; where anyone can come to God freely and openly and become a Child of God, a bride of Christ.

So What's the point?

It is my hope that what seems on the surface to be brutish and bizarre in the OT, understood within the context of the Gospel and what Jesus did, begins to come into clearer focus. What we could not see before becomes evident in light of a relationship to God through Jesus. It is almost my multi-purposed hope that highlighting the fact that what was written has become real will give the believer a great joy. This should flame our hearts because his promises are true - not just in a social justice sense, but in a spiritual sense as well. We will live because he lives. There is a place for us in death, because he said he is going to prepare a place for us. If it wasn't true, he wouldn't have told us.

I also hope that this gives the skeptics reason enough to pause and consider again the bible as the inspired Word of God. Even though we cannot see his resurrected body for ourselves, and even though we cannot poke our finger into his side to believe, we have the Word and the sure word of prophecy that can be reconciled in very specific ways to major events that have transpired in history. Despite what one believes, Jesus did open up Judaism to the Gentiles, the Jews rejected him and shortly after lost their land, temple and tribe identity as described in Hosea - the only tribe to survive and by proxy many others, was Judah, the house of Jesus; it's hard to say that Hosea was written after the fact. The spirit of God, a down payment on the promise, is the force that opens our heart to the mystery of scripture. It is the spirit of God that whispers to our hearts, that speaks even through secular means to help us understand the scriptures which all speak about Jesus. This too is another promise of God that is true:

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." (John 14:26 ESV)

Most importantly, it is my hope that you come to understand that God loves us more than we can ever imagine. That we are incredibly precious to him, as he sees something so grand and amazing in us that he sent his son to die on a cross so he could gain us. It is difficult for us to believe because we feel the exact opposite about ourselves so much of the time. But despite the lack of appreciation we have for others, and even ourselves, he has known since the foundation of the world what it would cost to have us with him. We have the sure word of prophecy and our testimony. I urge you to consider all these things and to open your heart to Jesus' invitation of Eternal Life. He will not take away your personality; he will enhance it. He will not speak to you through a screaming preacher, but through your favorite songs. God in no way will be violent with you, nor make you sprint when you need to walk, or tear you apart for the mistakes you will make along the way. Believe him when he says that in no way will he cast you out, as in Hosea, he married a prostitute, who didn't love him, but chased after other things. Rather, we love him because he first loved us. If you come to him, hand your life over to him, he will form it in his image subtly and carefully. His words are true. It is my hope that this exercise helps demonstrate that reality.

There are questions I still have. How could it be that His Word has become real? How is it that God says, and it becomes? I do not know, but it is true, and we should all respond to him as there is another truth that's equal in its horror as grand as his grace and mercy. There is a hell, an eternal separation from all that is good and we each have sinned and are headed there, unless we are born again by his spirit. Sadly, many will choose not to accept his gift. Even in the face of evidence and even though they might feel in their hearts they want to come. To come to Christ is the beginning of a Love story that was written before creation. We have our creativity, our love, light, every good thing that is, or ever will be, in God. Do not push away his hand. Do not set him aside. Do not tell him to butt out of your life, because he will, not only in this life, but in the life to come. He loves you and it breaks his heart that despite all that he has created and done, to the point of dying for us, that you will not. It seems for all His little words, many will die never knowing the love of God. Do not be one of those. Come to him, while you still can. Come to him, and live a life full of meaning, community and revelation. Come, into the heart of God. Come, lay your head on his breast and accept his divine kiss, for you are his splendid butterfly.

A Functional God?

Interesting. God as muse? God as functional art? God as political action? Perhaps Religion, re-linking, is an apt descriptor as every example is of what man creates to provoke our souls to consider the divine - however - it is usually channeled in the opposite direction in that we marvel at the work and possibilities of what man can accomplish with the divine as muse. Our creative principle is innate and evidence that our anima is fueled by the breath of God blown into our mouths by way of his divine kiss.

And while we rearrange the material play-ground God has given us, extending our minds into reality, none of the forms listed (while admirable and speaking to our divine inheritance) provoke my heart to pour myself out. The greatest symphony, while stunning, cannot heal my dearest relationships. The grand cathedrals cannot give me hope in the darkest night. For all the myriad re-arrangements of nature man can produce, God has accomplished beyond measure in the temple he made without hands. And even though not visibly present, its effect transcends space and time to touch my heart, kissing me again with lips dripping with grace and mercy.

Foundational World Views

The evidence for intelligent life in the universe is dwindling. To some people this is a most depressing idea because it means there is a vast amount of space and it's virtually wasted solely on us. The idea that we're alone in the universe is an assault on the modern psyche because for a generation we have been told stories about alien life and the possibility of first contact and how that would re-write history and even religion. There is even a mathematical equation that shows there are literally thousands of civilizations out there! Proof of alien life, or first contact, would be akin to the revolutionary shift in foundational worldviews which were at stake in the debate about the helio and geocentric models. It speaks to the position of Man in the Universe and ultimately our purpose, if any. The essence of the debate can be reduced down to this: Are Human Beings special and unique and was creation made for them alone?

The Heliocentric model was not created

by Christians or Jews. Rather started with Greeks, and was approriated by

the Church in Rome as a Holy doctrine.

There was a time when people felt the geocentric view indicated that Human Beings were the center of the universe and the heavens revolved around us, while the heliocentric view would indicate that the Sun is the center thereby reducing our importance on a cosmic scale: positioning as it turns out is important, but being 'center' is not. The existence of alien life, while a very modern concern, has similar implications for many.

For most secular people the idea that the universe was made specifically for us is rather absurd, as it seems like an awful waste of space. At one point I definitely agreed as I practically grew up on Star Trek and science fiction. The idea that we're not alone is a completely natural position for me. I really like the idea that the universe is dotted with uncountable civilizations, that we'll share information and be part of a larger community. However much I enjoy fantasy and wish it were reality, there is growing evidence that galactic fellowship as represented in science fiction is probably not true as there are specific conditions necessary for life to arise, and not only for life to arise, but specific positioning and parameters necessary in order to observe the universe. In fact, the more we learn, the more our existence becomes even more radical. So, we might actually be 'alone' in the Universe. For people without God, this is incredibly depressing since this means we experience pain, suffering, murder, depression, strife (you know the drill) and it's all pretty much meaningless; or there is a perverted sense of cosmic justice that's totally unclear.

Why These Worldview Matter

And though we are increasingly becoming aware of the vastness of space and the outrageous odds that we even exist, we are still drawn into petty issues like freaking out over losing 5 seconds on our commute; which the distance of doesn't even register on a universal level, let alone an earthly one. Our situation in modernity is rather pathetic and mundane, so it goes that if everything we see was created just for us than it's most certainly a waste.

We've lost our moral bearing,

our fears and alienation are exploited,

as well as our labor.

And it's right to feel that way.

We can only operate through the slavery of debt

We will age and die; and there is no escape.

Given our situation it is reasonable to want something greater than ourselves to frame our experience in a meaningful context.

In fact, it was the reason why I never really entertained the idea that we might be alone in the Universe, until I watched a lecture by Dr. Hugh Ross. I have to admit I was impressed with his knowledge and presentation. Now, there are many people who attack him as a hack and a fraud. I just want to point out that's a natural disposition of many scientists. That is how the 'englightened' engage in debate. It's all rather nasty, so if you research him try to look past the rhetoric as even the great names such as 'Einstein', 'Tesla' and many others had such detractors. No one has all knowledge and so we are piecing this thing together, climbing on the achievements of the generations from ages past. What is important is consensus. The article confirmed the data he presented, and by secularists who froth at the mouth when 'God' is mentioned; so they certainly do not advocate Dr. Ross.

What impressed me while watching his online lecture is that not only does he possess scientific integrity, but he also shared a perspective that I had never considered: If the universe was made just for us then its vastness is not a waste of space, but rather it speaks to the incredibly high value that human beings have. I realized then that the idea of our value has always been at the heart of the debate, from antiquity to modernity. Our value as sentient beings is what's at stake. The world has always had problems, but the lack of human value has led us to a dangerous precipice, of which only an act of God can pull us back. It is my prayer that this message infects the dangerous meme that secularists have embedded in the modern framework*; that we go from a culture of death, despair, and alienation, to a culture of value, respect, hope and purpose.

*The notion that there is nothing in death permeates our media in subtle ways. Watch 1:39 seconds in. This is the narrative that's being sent, and if you watch the story arch from this moment on, he acts accordingly: disassociated, which is the mental state that plagues a great deal of people:

Paradigm Shifting

I appreciate Ken Wilber's work in regards to the integral nature of our experience. We obviously differ theologically, but that doesn't mean mutual ground can't be found: We must understand our context within a dynamic, holistic context. No one should understand this better than the Christian.

It has been my experience that the degree to which you feel you are living a meaningful life is directly related to the level of value you perceive you have physically, psychologically and spiritually. This is why our labor, relationships, and cosmological context are all incredibly important to our over-all well being. It is these spheres that are perpetually under assault, in every age, but today they are under siege. What's particularly grotesque about the modern experience is that our labor and relationships can only be understood within a commercial context and our spiritual context within the material: pantheism, or universal expression. Our families, our first encounter with the social life, have been decimated and as a result we see the social (civil society) disintegrating. Our labor is dictated by the extent to which loans can be secured, not what we can produce. As individuals, we are plunging ever closer into the shadow of death and all you can see is a future darkness. If everything we see came from nothing, back to nothing you go. Or you might believe the inverse, you are an expression of an impersonal universe that cannot care and never really be known except through your personal experiences. You feel that you should be doing good, but the only problem with that is despite your efforts you don't really do too much good - no better or worse than the next person, right? Never before have all quadrants of human existence been mortally wounded at once so don't fret, it's not exactly your fault. We simply have faulty foundations. This predicament is exactly what Jesus was speaking to when he was addressing the crowd:

"Therefore, whosoeuer heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I wil liken him vnto a wise man, which built his house vpon a rocke: And the raine descended, and the floods came, and the windes blew, and beat vpon that house: and it fell not, for it was founded vpon a rocke. And euery one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall bee likened vnto a foolish man, which built his house vpon the sand: And the raine descended, and the floods came, and the windes blew, and beat vpon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it." Matthew 7:24-27, ESV

Read it again but substitute the following words:

The House=Life

The Rock=The Living God

The Rains=Alienation/Depression

The Flood=Debts/Financial Trouble

The Winds=Death/Illness

The Sand=Philosophy of Man/Atheism

Now, I'm going to type it again using the direct symbolic meaning:

"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his Life on The Living God. And the alienation fell, and the debts came, and illness and death blew and beat on that Life, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on The Living God. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his life on the philosophy of man. And the alienation fell, and the debts came, and illness and death blew and beat against that Life, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."

Isn't that exactly how you feel. So lost when these things start to befall you, especially all three at the same time! God knows what our experience is and what human experience would be in the future. His Word is the Living Word that transcends space and time to speak to us even still. It is sad not too much has change since the dawn of civilization, but God's Word speaks to that too:

"The thing that hath beene, it is that which shall be: and that which is done, is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing vnder the sunn." Ecclesiastes 1:9, ESV

While there might be nothing new under the sun, I do not take our situation lightly. It's true that the human experience has been wrought with pains and sufferings, but there is no doubt that we are experiencing them more acutely today. It's almost as if the magnitude of our technological and industrial grandeur matches the suffering we experience under its misuse. Now, at this point I can probably guess what you're thinking (besides thinking that I'm a crazy person and wondering why you've even read THIS far, ha!).

The idea of God is so broad, who can define it? There are so many competing ideas who's to say which one is correct? These are difficult question to answer directly, but what I can say in response is that to find the answer you must ask yourself different questions. What does your foundation worldview do for you? Do you feel free? Does it validate all spheres that pertain to our happiness, or does it validate one at the expense of another? You might have work or feel financially secure, but have broken relationships. Or you doing great and are dumbstruck by a sudden death or illness.

You can really pick any permutation, but we are always deficient in one sphere or another. The moments that are good are when all these quadrants are in balance: When mind/body/spirit enter synergy.

This post cannot encompass all four quadrants in depth, but brings to question to the cosmological foundational worldview we have been given. It is my hope that the reader will at least consider a God who is actively interested in their life, as he is the author of life and the Master Architect of the Heavens and Earth. And not only come to realize God in your life, but come to Love him, as he Loves you beyond measure. The secular scientist can appreciate the mechanics of the heavens and the earth, but the Lover of God can praise it! Trust me, there is a difference.

Bloggers Note: I was reading through Leviticus and thought Chapter 25:8-55 was particularly prescient and applicable to our world today. I wondered what kind of blessing would be poured out on the world if it was applied globally. I also wondered if anyone else had a similar idea. I did a google search for Global Jubilee and I found this article. I thought it was wonderful, so instead of reinventing the wheel I decided to repost it here. Enjoy!

The Global Financial Crisis (GFC) of the past few years has ravaged many households. Millions are living in dire conditions not dissimilar to those experienced in the time of the 1930s Great Depression. Over 42 million American households today rely upon food stamps.1 That is an increase of 44% since the start of the GFC (considered to be early September 2008 when the firm of Lehman Brothers collapsed). One of the busiest times of the month for Wal-mart is now early in the morning on the first day of the month, when the food stamp cards are transactionable.

The GFC is not over; it is still morphing through various stages. Lately, financial troubles are ripping through parts of Europe. Much more trouble surely lies ahead elsewhere. The GFC indeed could represent a preliminary phase of the global economic travails that ultimately manifest in the final economic collapses detailed in the book of Revelation. However, events can unfold in unexpected and deceitful ways. A deceptive aspect of the times is that even as many more people have fallen into difficult circumstance, perhaps losing all or a considerable part of their savings in the real estate crash, the wealthy seem to be doing fine. Yes, many wealthy people also suffered loss throughout the GFC. However, as a group, they nevertheless today account for a greater share of national wealth than likely ever before in America’s history. According to one recent estimate, the richest 20% of all U.S. households now account for 84% of all wealth.2 Another survey dating back to 2006 data, focusing on the top 0.01% (1 hundredth of 1%) of the U.S. population, shows this group earning 976 times the income of the bottom 90%. That ratio by far exceeds the extremes of 1928, the last peak period of an extreme wealth distribution in the U.S. Therefore, even while we see luxury goods in high demand today, we also observe that the majority of households have reduced their overall spending … even on staple goods.

We live in a period of time where the financial world has become decoupled from the real world. In other words, the realm of financial wealth and asset markets has become its own master, seeking to insulate itself from the real-life underpinnings of the day-to-day world of labor, income and massive household indebtedness. Today, rather than money being in the service of mankind, societies have been taken into the bondage of servicing money. Whenever such a state of affairs has occurred in past history, it has ultimately led to a demise of that society. Unless things change, this same outcome is likely to befall America, Canada and a host of other countries. In fact, today these conditions impact the entire world, not just individual countries. The globalized financial edifice is looting entire countries, progressively forcing governments to appropriate taxpayer monies to bailout banks and global sovereign bond markets.

The Façade of Rich Hopes

The topic of wealth … should we even discuss it? According to the prophet Amos, perhaps we shouldn’t. He said: “Therefore the prudent man keeps quiet in such times, for the times are evil” (Amos 5:13). To have any opinion on the accumulation of riches in these times is to be branded of a particular political persuasion—perhaps Democrat, Republican, Libertarian … even a Socialist or a Communist. It is a particularly treacherous topic in North America. Why? Because the ideas of opportunity for all … the freedom to excel … property rights … human rights … etc. … run deep. These represent the very foundation of the American Way. It is not that any of these notions are unreasonable or reprehensible. They should be upheld. However, along the way, the object of worship has changed. The focus has turned from these ideas to the acquisition of money and wealth itself—in short: greed and humanistic materialism.

None of these comments are meant to support any one particular political view. They are simply Biblical statements of fact which confirm the vulnerabilities of the human heart to corruption. We are therefore speaking here of human affections, not political philosophies.

Capitalism and Other Views Not Sanctified

For some, the objective of the maximization of wealth is a religion itself… an “ism.” Anything that would stand in the way of this Mammon edifice must be struck down and removed. To them, money exists for its own sake. All policies of state and matters of human life must be in subservience to increasing wealth. And so, increasingly for the entire world, wealth has been transformed into a highly visible financial form, one that is narrow and deceiving.

Without naming names or politicizing the views being expressed here, it is very evident that many rich and powerful individuals, the corporate sector represented by the large multinational corporations, as well as the parasitic financial community (collectively referred to as Wall Street), are run by the interests of money. They have tremendous influence and lobby hard to continue the pursuit of even more wealth. That societies may be crumbling; that the global economic standing of entire nation states is being sacrificed; that an ever larger portion of humanity is being enslaved are just part of the competitive scoring game. Quoting Dr. Michael Hudson, in America: "We are dealing with shameless demagogy. The financial End Time has arrived. […] The argument is made that ‘The rich create jobs.’ After all, somebody has to build the yachts. What is missing is the more general principle: Wealth and income inequality destroy job creation. This is because beyond the wealthy soon reach a limit on how much they can consume. They spend their money buying financial securities – mainly bonds, which end up indebting the economy. And the debt overhead is what is pushing today’s economy into deepening depression." 3

Being or becoming wealthy is not a sin, though few are able to remain untainted by its influence. On the other hand, desiring to be wealthy or to oppress others in the effort to attain or preserve wealth is a sin. Such motives, if not curtailed, lead to destruction, as the Bible outlines. In fact, it could be considered a physical law that applies to anything that draws the affections of mankind. “[…] Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs” (1 Timothy 6:10). Today, we see ample evidence of the destructive trends of wealth hoarding at work.

The Bible’s View on Today

Let’s allow the Bible to speak of the indictments and judgments that applied to Israel and Judah during similar times of elitism and economic oppression. Please read these statements and compare them to conditions evident in our day: Son of man, say to the land […], There is a conspiracy of her princes within her like a roaring lion tearing its prey; they devour people, take treasures and precious things and make many widows within her. […] Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain. […] The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the alien, denying them justice (Ezekiel 22:24-25, 27, 29). Hear this word, you cows of Bashan on Mount Samaria, you women who oppress the poor and crush the needy and say to your husbands, ‘Bring us some drinks!’ (Amos 4:1). ‘So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, […] against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear me,’ says the LORD Almighty (Malachi 3:5). For I know how many are your offenses and how great your sins. You oppress the righteous and take bribes and you deprive the poor of justice in the courts (Amos 5:12). Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it. They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance” (Micah 2:1-2). Do any of the conditions or attitudes exemplified in the Spirit-inspired statements of the prophets cited above, apply in our day? Most readers will likely agree.

Moreover, an attitude of rapaciousness and an incessant striving for gain is rampant. Attitudes such as these were also spoken against by the prophets. Consider Nahum indicting the brutal Assyrians, saying, “You have increased the number of your merchants till they are more than the stars of the sky, but like locusts they strip the land and then fly away” (Nahum 3:16). Today, avaricious actions such as these take different forms. For example, a company is taken over, its assets stripped, laborers downsized, and then it is laden up with debt to pay out gains to its acquirers. Not only do actions such as these undermine the strength of these companies, but also entire nations. As well, the obsession of multiplying wealth for its own sake, was also deplored by the prophets. Said Isaiah: “Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land” (Isaiah 5:8). We see here that the objective of gaining wealth—of piling up and hoarding riches—is not to be the leitmotif of life. The incessant striving for “growth and increase” virtually ensures that a large number of poor will result, destroying society.

Points to Ponder

This writer believes that the conditions of materialism and economic oppression witnessed today—even in such advanced nations as the U.S., Canada and others—is at least as rampant as during the times that the prophets sounded the warnings and indictments against Judah and Israel. The divide between the rich and poor has become extreme. No Jubilee Year is practiced as in ancient times of the Hebrews, where all liabilities are forgiven and the forces of exponential gain are again reset to zero. (“In this Year of Jubilee, everyone is to return to his own property” (Leviticus 25:13)). In today’s world driven by global materialism, there is no rebalancing of wealth and property other than through eventual calamitous financial busts and economic depressions.

To date, global leaders and finance ministers from the major nations have no answer to the Global Financial Crisis other than to reshuffle debt and to shift liabilities upon governments and aging populations. There is no possibility of a voluntary Jubilee Year. The net result is even greater financial slavery for the average citizen; even greater relative wealth of the “haves.” Yes, some leaders speak of a return to “stewardship” and stopping the march into greater indebtedness. However, for the most part, societies and their leaders will opt for policies that seem the lightest ... that promise deferral of the ultimate consequences, even if only for a period of months.
But surely, the judgments that were carried out against Israel and Judah for their economic sins could never happen to the U.S. or Canada, for example. Many refuse to believe that today’s generation will not be absolved of its idolatries and sins, on the good credit of prior generations that may have founded their nation upon Christian principles. Or, they may think themselves impervious to judgment because of the great evangelical outreaches and good deeds to the rest of the world that were birthed in their country.

They forget the lessons of ancient Israel and Judah and the principle illustrated in Ezekiel 18. Here Ezekiel provides a detailed illustration of the accountabilities of fathers and sons, concluding that each generation must answer for its own conduct. For example, the sins of the son cannot be absolved on the strengths of the good deeds of the father. Says Ezekiel: “For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son—both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die” (Ezekiel 18:4-5). As such, the immoral and evil conditions that we witness today will be accounted to the current generation. God is faithful, a respecter of no one. As Apostle Paul observed, “The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life” (Galatians 6:8).

Living in this dispensation upon earth, great and wonderful promises have been given to us in addition to salvation. While the world becomes mired in its humanistic materialism, losing everything, we can translate what we have into eternal riches, “where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matthew 6:20), gaining everything. “I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings” (Luke 16:9).

Revealing Heaven: A Book Review of Sorts

Something has been occurring to me over the past 7 months where a series of patterns and events have coalesced into one theme; God is speaking about his home and our future lives. I'm not sure if this is your experience, perhaps this could be one link in the chain of events leading down a similar path, but I have been guided overwhelmingly to works about Heaven. It started back in January when I heard a broadcast on Haven Today with Todd Burpbo, who had recently published a book about his son's experience in Heaven: Heaven is for Real. I went out and bought the book the same day.

Shortly after I stumbled across another book; Nine Days in Heaven. It is a re-write of a book published in 1848 where Marietta Davis experienced an amazing vision of heaven. There was much more detail about Heaven than in young Burpbo's account and her vision on the spiritual events that took place after the death of Christ is the most spectacular I have ever read. After reading that book I then came across another work, another and then another. What I started to notice is that each book revealed similar details. Instead of contradicting each other they built on each other, like harmonic layers, giving me a multi-dimensional picture of what Heaven is going to be like. Each book is annotated with scripture to support the vision as authentic, meaning that it does not deviate from the inspired Word. None of this proves the works are inspired of God, or that I was being led by God to them. I concede, I have no concrete proof to show this was the case. What I can tell you is that there was something more going on inside my soul while reading these books. It was the soulish response that piqued my interest. While reading them my soul was refreshed, encouraged and inspired. Many of the books are lined with my tears. It provoked intense longing and hope, and invigorated my works in the world. For example, I notice that I give generously and spontaneously with more joy, and when I perceive a wrong I pray to God and declare I forgive that person. In other words, these books in conjunction with scripture and daily teaching quickened my soul and had real world effect.

But why is this happening now? From my experience, works dealing with Heaven are usually in the realm of the New Age and the message varies from author to author, giving only a broad scope admonishment to 'love more' from a vague light. Christians by nature tend to shun these kind of works, but more and more of these books are coming from evangelical Christians. And in some cases they have been having these experiences for several decades and just now told by the Spirit to publish them. The fact is that increasing numbers of Christians have been having this experience over a span of 160 years and what they recall independently corroborates actual places in heaven and does not deviate from the main message; Heaven is real, it's better than you can ever imagine, God loves you more than you can ever know and Jesus is the way to get there!

While I have read many books on the subject of Heaven that have profound spiritual depth, there is one book that stands out among them: Revealing Heaven by Kat Kerr. For starters, it's the only book I have read that actually comes with pictures of what she saw, but it also provided a reason for why works on Heaven from Christian sources are flooding the world:

"This is a glimpse into Eternity! Prepare to read. Prepare to be forever changed. Prepare people of Earth, for in the year 2007, God is REVEALING HEAVEN!"

I can certainly testify to this fact. Unlike the other books, Revealing Heaven also comes with third party accounts of the people who were touched in tangible ways by her visitations to Heaven. How is this any different than someone like John Edward's Crossing Over, who also provides 'proofs' of his contact with the dead? For starters, these people aren't dead and she makes it clear that she did not have contact with them, but was allowed to observe. Another distinguishing factor is that the people still on this earth were not aware that Kat existed. They are not people in an audience seeking her out, nor is the evidence merely anecdotal; meaning she related vague events that happened in the past. She is merely relating what she observed about the loved one in Heaven, and the observations correlated to reality. In one case, there is an actual letter written by a young girl who moved on that corroborates Kat's visitation a decade before the person's passing. That's on a level John Edwards could only dream of reaching. That's only something the Lord of space and time can orchestrate. However, it's not just the evidence that points to the validity of her account that I found impactful. Outside of the more concrete aspects of the book, it also helps illuminate who God is, how much he loves us and how much FUN heaven is going to be! This is by far the most important aspect that makes Kat's book stand apart from the others. It was just plain FUN to read and it treads where other books won't go; getting into depth about the structures of Heaven like the mansions, centers of learning, movie houses and even amusement parks.

I consider myself a spiritual person who loves God. Imperfect, to be sure, but earnest in my desire and appreciation for the Gift of the Blood of the Lamb. I can only speak to my own experience, but sometimes I get so caught up in my pursuit of spiritual knowledge that I sometimes become severe, and unfortunately assume that as the only characteristic of God's personality. And while it is important to study so as to not be deceived and consider the content with sound counsel, I had hesitation accepting that there might be spiritual desserts too. And the book truly is a treat. I am glad that Heaven has roller coasters, movies theaters, homes, gardens of light, and best of all access to the throne room of God from anywhere in Heaven by riding the visible light of worship! Wow! (Ever since I was little I always wanted to put color to sound as it was being produced - I now know that thought was inspired by Heaven.)

I don't just like it because I want my ears tickled and want something that is familiar, rather, it speaks to the tremendous love God has for us in that he does not denigrate our creations, the things that we as people LOVE to do, but has taken what we have made (even in a fallen state) and put those things into Glory. God, through Kat, has taken my conception of him to a higher level than I could have imagined. I suddenly understood that the problem of my tendency to reject something that did not fit my conception of 'holy' was my lack of understanding the depth of God's love and respect he has for his children and the multitude of ways he communicates it. It also made me revisit verses and consider them within a new context:

Mark 10:15: Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” (I don't know about you, but I loved going to Disneyland as a child, so personally, I look forward to the amusement park)

1 Corinthians 1:25: For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. (An amusement park in heaven was definitely a foolish idea, but given my new understanding about the nature of God, it is wiser than I could have imagined - and I am glad his ways are higher. My Heaven would have been boring!)

Books that are non-descript, such as Heaven is for Real and the most recent Flight to Heaven, are very comfortable. They are mainly about the story of how they had their experience and then how it affected their life afterward. Heaven is only mentioned briefly and rather vaguely.There is nothing about these books that moves anybody outside of their comfort zone, except that it appeals directly to the saving power of Jesus and emphasizes our need for him. However, I believe all these books are meant to reach the people who are deceived by the new age, or begin to open Christians mind to the possibility that God is allowing Heaven to be revealed. Paul states in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4:

"I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter."

Could it be that Paul lived in a time when there were no words available to describe the world of Heaven and that is why no man could utter it? The Whorf Hypothesis does state that "The principle of linguistic relativity holds that the structure of a language affects the ways in which its speakers are able to conceptualize their world". We live in an age where we have words that help conceptualize the world of Heaven; we are aware of relativity, multiple dimensions, plasma, et cetera. Aside from having the necessary scientific lexicon readily available to the layperson, I secretly wonder if Heaven is being revealed at this time because the end of the age is close and God is letting these things out now to help revitalize our hearts and remind us that no matter what the New World Order is offering, it cannot compare to the world that Christ, through his blood, opened to us. Or maybe the book is not only for us, maybe it is for those who go through the tribulation. Could it be these books will give the end times believer the courage to not take the mark and lose their heads? I don't know and I'm not a prophet, it's just an interesting thought.

Revealing Heaven is bold, simple, spiritually and scripturally sound and grand in scope. It will challenge the cerebral Christian and those who cling closely to the more worldly application of scripture. However, the reader will have to make up their own mind if they believe her or not. I for one, do. Revealing Heaven does not have a broad appeal (yet), but it will be there when people are ready to peek behind the curtain. Specialization of Knowledge

I had never heard of Paul Erdős, but after I watched a documentary on his life I found him to be utterly fascinating. I'm always astonished by mathematicians, I mean, I have a difficult enough time 'seeing' where I've missed words in something I have written even though I've gone over it at least 20 times. I have the same problem with math. I miss a "+" here, a "-" there, and then my answer, which totally makes sense in my brain, comes out completely wrong. Embarrassingly wrong. I would get math tests back with big fat scarlet F's stricken across the top and red ink over every answer I worked out. I would be shocked. "There is no way that I did this poorly! I thought I understood every concept! I really did study, and besides who can argue with my LOGIC!" But no, I was definitely wrong and my reasoning completely illogical. So I'm not a mathematician, or a scientist. It's probably people like me that wing it through somehow that have been responsible for every mishap and tragedy in aeronautic history. Regardless of my handicap, I still love being a spectator. I find math beautiful, science fantastic and am awestruck by people gifted in those areas. For me, watching the documentary on Paul Erdős gave me the same thrill as watching a master dancer, craftsman or musician in action. There is something profound in being witness to someone accomplishing an extraordinary feat while making it look effortless. A foundational axiom of the human experience is that we bear witness to each other.

Each human being is uniquely gifted, and when that gift is nurtured like a seed planted in fertile ground and tended with utmost care, we bear fruit that is a blessing to the self from which the fruit sprang and also to society. Our perception and subsequent attitude toward those who are uninitiated in a specific training or gifted with tremendous aptitude as unable to speak to a subject is a tragic disservice. Everyone is necessary. Without varying gifting’s and aptitudes society would lose its dynamism and depth, robbing us of potentially wonderful experiences and joy. So, I am not writing to tear down Paul Erdős, or his obvious gift. Rather I want to address what came to my mind when I saw the above clip; the essence of what was inferred.

The Occult History of Science

Science and math play a critically important role during this age of wonders, and therefore more economically expedient and valued. It is interesting to note that the roots of science and math sprang forth from sorcerers, alchemists and an ancient priest class. This ancient priest class dictated the contours of reality and framed human perception within the context of their craft; they literally impose on human minds what is, and is not real. What can be and cannot be. The mystery schools are the progenitors of the current Information Age. The masters of the craft are now also the world's princes and their beliefs, world views and opinions matter because they lay the foundation for the flavor of future society. The craft produces tangible results which increases their ability to influence society. The art extends reality, giving us physical comforts and as a result we tend to appropriate their foundational world views even though we can barely grasp the method of the art. What I mean by foundational world views are specifically where we stand on ideas of origin. We are only left with two options: 1) Everything we see was created by God, and has intentional purpose and meaning or 2) There is nothing but blind law that governs material processes and subsequently higher levels of order emerge given that proper conditions are satisfied. Of course there are many subsections of these two branches which obfuscate the fact that there are two core view points. If you want to know more about what I personally think about God, please read the blog "In the Beginning". It might help clarify my position and shed some light on where I’m coming from.

Influence on Belief

These foundational world views affect our ethics, morality and how we derive meaning and beauty in our lives. In this age we appeal to people like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking in matters beyond what their science or math actually show. Despite lack of proof, or complete knowledge of ‘everything’, those men take positions on the existence of God. I’m not saying they can’t have a position, because man cannot escape the question of God. Both inner and outer worlds demand an answer. However, none of the men mentioned (and even those not mentioned) never embrace the notion of God as a personality that can be known and has a desire to know you. If God is mentioned, it is always going to be pantheistic in essence. The idea of God as a personality that interacts with creation is completely disregarded, and I have to admit it is for usually good reasons.

Paul Erdős, in particular, has a most unique and honest position on the matter. While many mathematicians and scientists who are in the public spot light take a rather benign position, Erdős not only deals directly with God, but uses language that communicates a position that deals directly with social issues. In some sense, it is very Manichean, or a type of game theory in which tension created by good and bad actions results in equilibrium. Erdős also deals directly with the God of man's making and calls that God exactly what he perceives him to be: The Supreme Fascist. I think the title is used as a direct result of Erdős’ experiences, as most Eastern Europeans of his time had direct dealings with fascist ideology and its subsequent carnage - and given the popular misconception about the God of the Old Testament, I can appreciate why he would use that specific descriptor.

While probably tongue and cheek, I think that his position as a respected mathematician has bigger ramifications on the lay person than he might imagine. There is no higher authority on this planet right now than the mathematician or scientist, so when they speak about God people listen. What they say about the matter becomes to a great extent the modern canon, trumping the Bible itself and making theologians scramble for a legitimate response; which usually ends in concession. For example, many Christians, if not all, now reject or struggle with the Genesis account of creation as a literal event. The evolutionary theory and the powerful influence of the modern priests forced many believers to abandon the biblical account of creation for a construction of evolution with intent; Intelligent Design. There is more to be said on this matter, but will be done in a different post where I can give it the proper attention it deserves. The main point I want to establish is that scientists and mathematicians have tremendous impact on the foundational background beliefs of a large percentage of the population - regardless if one is Christian or not. So when Paul Erdős speaks about God as a Supreme Fascist, despite it being tongue and cheek or just social commentary, many people are affected by that particular word association. It has impact and provokes a response.

However, this is not a new idea. In fact, the idea of God as a type of fascist or bully is a very old idea that has its origin in the fall of creation in Genesis and has been appropriated and propagated by mystery schools over several millennia. There is an occult aspect to the wording, "Supreme Fascist", that many are probably not aware even exists. It is in fact the essence of the Luciferian philosophy that was propagated by H.P Blavatsky and Alice A Bailey and then unwittingly spread by artists, writers and musicians from the early 20^th century all the way up to today. Do I think that Paul Erdős worshipped Lucifer? No. Must Luciferians don’t literally believe in Lucifer as a real being. It’s a philosophy which employs symbolism to communicate a story that says man, through knowledge, is evolving into deity and that God is a tyrant hindering man from their destiny. It has been around for a very long time, just like the idea of evolution has been around for a long time: much longer than modern science. Even before Europe or Western culture, as we know it, came into existence. There will be more on this later, don’t worry, I plan on explaining myself and these positions in much more detail in the future. What I am saying is that Paul Erdős’ position on God seems to be a natural human disposition, and it's interesting to me that this natural inclination toward a Luciferian philosophy exists despite being aware of it as such. This point is highlighted in the Gospels, when Jesus says that our natural state (enmity toward God) is alignment with the devil:

Joh 8:42-44 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. (43) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. (44) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Jesus was saying this to those who believed they were justified, moral and good in their opposition to him, but if they truly loved 'good' they would love him merely for the fruit of his works. In fact, given the above quote from Jesus, I think it's safe to say that the Supreme Fascist Erdős is talking about is actually Satan, not God, for there is nothing fascist about Jesus, who is the physical representation of God's heart. There can be no fault found in anything he said or did, it's just that Erdős has never taken the time to actually read about him, but defaulting to a personal view based on experience and assumptions. If he truly loved what was good it’s doubtful that he could paint God in such a light, and given the brutal history of nations it would be sufficient to defer back to scripture and say that those actions are not from God, but Satan and human sin. How many wars have been started by lies, how many lives lost to murder? There were very specific rules of warfare for Isreal in the Old Testament, and what most people attribute to religious wars are not from God, or of God, but of the devil. However, outside of being born again by the holy spirit our natural state is enmity with God; not because we are necessarily 'evil', but because we are deceived and don't really know who he is. The scripture also speaks to the fact that just because someone doesn't necessarily think they are worshiping the devil, or are of Lucifer, or aligned with Lucifer, doesn't mean they aren't. Many, MANY people have adopted the Luciferian philosophy and don’t even know it.

What is the Luciferian Philosophy?

This is a tremendous topic and one that I will be dealing with in the future, so what is written here is not to be considered the definitive post, but rather a point of induction that will be built on later. The Luciferian philosophy is not to be mistaken with Satanism, even though they are different branches that draw from the same root. In fact, many Luciferians really don’t like Satanists. The best way I can illustrate the difference is that Satanists tend to be more concerned with Magikal rites and ceremonies (both white/black), summoning entities and elementals to bend nature to their will for some type of gain. Luciferians tend to be more interested in physical/psychic evolution into higher planes of existence. The reality and origin of conscious evolution has been hidden in modern times because Lucifer has such a negative connotation to a vast number of people due to the proliferation of the Bible. Blavatsky had to stop publishing the magazine Lucifer and Alice A. Bailey had to change the name of her publishing company Lucifer Trust, to Lucis Trust, because people would not consider the content seriously merely because Lucifer was prominently displayed. However, the content of the messages didn’t change, and the ideas and philosophy have thoroughly permeated western culture.

This Present Darkness

You cannot turn on a television, watch a movie, or read a novel without being initiated into it. It has evolved to such a degree that what was once horror is now considered sexy; we have fallen prey to lust. Another distinction is that Satanists consider themselves an adversary of God, while Luciferians believe that God, as described in the bible, is not actually God, but a lesser God that was holding man back from his true potential and that Lucifer liberated man in the Garden by opening our minds to knowledge. This was the main driving force behind many of the mystery schools and also taught as an allegory to illustrate what the purpose of evolution actually is. This is the key to understanding things like the Sphinx (half man/half animal – the divine animal), esoteric movies such as Kubrick’s 2001, practices to induce Kundalini, and why the serpent and dragons are associated with knowledge and proliferate most ancient cultures all over the world.

The Luciferian philosophy can be found almost everywhere you look today. There are times when it is laid out in plain view, and other times when it is hidden and only the initiated will understand what is going on. For example, the movie "Rosemary’s Baby" lays out the Satanic practices in plain view. There was the use of herbs, enchantments and cermony. It was clear to the audience what was going on. What wasn't clear was why it was going on. Why would anyone want to help give birth to the Anti-Christ? The philosophy was revealed only briefly. If you pay close attention, and consider all the things I have written up to this point, you will understand why they did what they did:

They did it because they wanted to be liberated. In essence, God is a fascist who executes harsh judgment. Starting to sound familiar? No, you certainly don’t celebrate the birth of the Anti-Christ and choosing to sell your soul to align yourself with Satan for material gain is not something you would do. You are too ‘good’ for that. But as a non-believer, isn't this exactly how you feel about God? There are too many rules, too many restraints and judgement! I must tell you that the agenda has advanced and is much more nuanced today. If we look at another Polanski film, "The Ninth Gate", we have a similar story. But this time it’s a man named Corso, played by Johnny Depp, who is not particularly bad or particularly good. He is commissioned to find a book written by Lucifer on how to enter the Ninth Gate and share his power. During his journey, Corso, a non-believer, begins to realize the reality of the satanic and supernatural implications of the book and is assisted by a mysterious and supernaturally gifted woman, who is depicted in the book as the woman riding the beast from Revelations. In the end, the billionaire who commissioned him was betrayed, thinking that he was the one who was chosen to ascend, but Corso was chosen. After having sex with the woman (The woman riding the beast) Corso walks into the light of the Ninth Gate; the Light of Lucifer. Now, if you research the movie, not very many people understood exactly what was going on. There are a lot of theories as to what it was about, but what stood out to me was the clear difference between the Satanists and the Luciferians. The Satanists were depicted as individuals who had class aspirations and used Satanic Rites for material gain (artist, musicians, et cetera), but not aware of what the rites were really about. But the billionaire (The Luciferian) was very aware of it and purposed in his actions. The whole movie is an induction ceremony, and there is a lot more to be said about it, but an interesting aspect of the movie is that Corso is totally unaware of what’s going on around him or even to him, despite the fact that everyone he encounters is deeply involved and informed. He is the fool, being inducted and baptized by Lucifer. I believe he represents the viewer. This occult ceremony is happening to him (and the viewer) without his knowledge or consent. Another reason I think the meaning of The Ninth Gate was lost on most reviewers and occult enthusiasts is because they did not link it to Polanski's body of work. The Ninth Gate is undoubtedly linked to Rosemary's Baby, and I believe is a continuation of the story.

Lucifer's Baptism Rite

The Ninth Gate came out in 1999 (666 upside down), Rosemary’s baby was written in 1966, published in 1967 and made into a movie in 1968. The birth of the child was 6/6/1966 (666): Year 1, indicating a new order. An interesting thing to consider is that the child would enter into the 9th gate, gaining the light of Lucifer at age 33, which is the highest degree of the masonic order, which is based in Luciferian ideology as admitted by Grand Master Albert Pike’s book Morals and Dogma. It is also the number of vertebrae in the human spine, which the Kundalini serpent climbs and initiates illumination after reaching the 33rd column, the nearest to the brain. The Ninth Gate plays off this as well as (33) 3x3=9, the door to illumination. Numbers become very important to these people as well. Of course, there is no real power there. God alone is in control and sovereign. They might have their numerology, but it means nothing if God does not allow it. I only point it out to help you understand why these themes will fall on certain dates and specific numbers.

There is no evidence for what I'm about to say, meaning no admission by the director. It is my own theory and no one I have read so far has made this connection, but I believe it could also be that the Johnny Depp character IS Rosemary's Child, and this is why he was chosen over the other Satanists, and also why the old order was made irrelevant; because their purposes have been served (to bring the child into the world) and now the Child Ascends - the same age as Christ's crucifixion and ascension: 33. People get so focused on the numerology and symbolism they lose the context of his body of work and as a result are mystified and confused. Upon closer inspection, there are links that bring continuity to the two seemingly disparate works. ((On another note, The second book by Ira Levin, Son of Rosemary, the child was also 33 when he came into power; bringing in a one world government under the auspices of global environmentalism and solidarity - of course later betrayed and murdered by his father, the Devil)). Now, remove the image of Anti-Christ and Devil, see them as metaphor and work from my assumption that Corso is the audience, and that Rosemary's Baby and The Ninth Gate are connected, and you will see the story unfold in reality.

There was a rise in Witchcraft (Wicca) and Satanism in the 50's and 60's because they were popularized by the counter-culture movements; however, it should be clear now that the foundations were laid well in advance of its explosion. The fruit of their practice brought forth a 'Child', which started in its infancy as the New Age movement during the 70's and 80's, growing in numbers and strength. Through the 90's it evolved with the assistance of Tibetan Buddhism, (which is connected with Blavatsky and others as it was their major influence) and a vast majority now consider God as an impersonal 'Light', and that consciousness is evolving toward the light (illumination); hence the explosion of practices, such as Yoga, designed to expedite illumination - despite the misinformed mass, I'm here to tell you that Yoga IS a spiritual practice. This program was conceived and executed before the turn of the century, as evidence by the appearance and adoration of The Buddha in 1892 at the early Bohemian Grove - a consortium of incredibly powerful men who meet in order to shape society.

Let's take another look at Rosemary's Baby. The apartment building where it all took place and where the coven was originally based out of was inspired by the Alwyn Court apartments. The building that was used in the film was The Dakota apartments. Both of these buildings are bathed in occult imagery, such as Dragons and other creatures inspired from the Goetia (The Book of Howling) and the Dictionnaire Infernal, both of which were republished and re-popularized around 1890-1904 which also places it within the time frame of the construction of both buildings; commissioned undoubtedly by men of wealth and influence, who were also creating alternative fraternal organizations (Bohemian Grove) committed to influencing the direction of society. The seed is planted. Through various means, these philosophies and ideas are nurtured by powerful and wealthy individuals (particularly women), as captured by Hermann Hesse's Demian, a named derived from the word daemon and also used as the name of the Anti-Christ in the movie "The Omen". The seed is watered. We start to see these ideas disseminate through film and music. As a direct result there is a rise in occult practices or an embracing of Eastern Philosophy, the abandonment of Christianity and vitriol toward its core values.

The seed breaks through. Then through the 80's occult symbolism and ideology was embedded in the New Age and spread through corporate culture and media, as documented by the Aquarian Conspiracy; a book favorable of the trend, despite its title. The fruit of the seed. From the 80's on many have abandoned the practices and ceremonies of the New Age, but have embraced the pure philosophy of the New Age: God as a nameless/faceless source or energy, and our evolution toward a singularity where the distinction between Man and God is blurred. This trajectory is essentially what we see playing out in these films; the symbolism of the covens, the birth of the Anti-Christ (which simply means in place of Christ), then its maturation, the abandonment of traditions that birthed it for its real essence which is to merge with the 'Light'. And like Corso, we have been directed toward this end unwittingly by people and forces greater than ourselves.

Another thing I would like to point out is that the more this ideology proliferates, the greater desensitized the viewer becomes to the world of evil. When Rosemary’s Baby first came out, its evil is made plain and the audience was horrified. 33 years later, Lucifer and the demon (daemon) were the protector and guide against the Satanists who thought they had a part to play through their magikal ceremonies and sacrifices. The audience wasn't horrified so much as mystified; no one, not even the most astute occultist could really understand what they were watching. The film promotes the purest form of the Luciferian philosophy, ascendancy, while demeaning Satanism. Look at what is happening around us every day. Where Do You Stand?

So, are you a Satanist? Are you a Luciferian? Was Paul Erdős? Probably not. But, I think we are at the point in history where it doesn’t matter if you willing are or not. The line is being drawn and the day is here where the veil is being pulled back. I remember a time when no one knew anything about the occult, but because of the internet there is certainly no lack of information regarding these issues. The Darkness and Light are being clearly distinguished and it's up to you to make a choice. If you are reading this because you searched out information on the NWO and the Occult, I'm sure you are well versed in most things I have mentioned, if not more so than I. What concerns me is that there are not very many people who unmask occult knowledge that are willing to commit to the fact God is real and you need to make a choice. Scriptures warn us about this deception:

Many emphasize 'Illumination' or 'Christ Consciousness' attained through your own efforts as the path to liberation. And though many demean Satanism and the billionaire Luciferians (as illustrated in the Ninth Gate) they will deny the existence of Jesus and claim it is an archetype for control to hide the secret that you are God. This is still the Luciferian ideology. They will deny the spiritual necessity of Christ and draw you away from the truth that he died for you while you were still his enemy, his adversary. He is the way, the truth and the Light. He is the child who was promised in the Garden of Eden that would strike the killing blow to the serpent. It is God who will lift you up, not yourself. Outside of Christ, you are on the Left Hand Path spiraling toward hell, which was created for Lucifer and his angels.

Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Mat 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

There are many people who reveal the occult truths and also deny the truth about Jesus. If you haven't heard this, let me tell you: God Loves you so much that he died to bring you to him. Everything we are going through is allowed so he can gain you. God is not the Supreme Fascist Erdős believes he is, nor is he the God that has been misrepresented by men through the ages. He died so you can no longer doubt 'Who He Really Is', His true nature: Love. He will not lie to you, he will not abuse you. His burden is easy and his yolk is light. He asks you only to come to him, to know him, his arms stretched out to receive you and bring you into the true light. But he will not force you to come to him. To do so would be violence against your will. If you have never read the Bible and want to know who God is, please watch The Father's Love Letter. It is a message encoded in the Bible for you. Contemplate this deeply. You can accept his free gift of Life. Lucifer/Satan is a liar. He is bringing you to death. Accept Life, turn to God. He alone can give you a life that will never end, and life more abundantly.

ADD: (edit @ 16:45 PST 7.4.2011) As I read this post back to myself, I was wondering what God had to say on the issue of 333. I went to the Word of God, the Living word, and this came back to me as a reply:

Deu 33:3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

It amazes me that his word is still able to speak to events today, shedding light on the darkness.
