Former Death Row recording artist and noted collaborator Nate Dogg is paralyzed on the left side of his body after suffering a mild stroke over the holidays, according to his manager. As MTV News previously reported, Dogg (real name: Nathaniel Hale) is currently in an occupational rehab facility. The prognosis for a full recovery however is good, Nate's rep, Rod McGrew, told MTV News on Thursday night; the singer did not suffer any brain damage nor has his voice been affected, he said.

The Simmons family have suffered the lost of their daughter Victoria Anne Simmons who would have been Rev Run and Justine's third child together. "It’s been four months since we’ve had her," Justine Simmons revealed to AllHipHop.com. "Our family is so happy, the kids are so happy, they are ecstatic!"

Autopsy results have determined that R&B singer Ike Turner's death was the result of a cocaine overdose with a host of other medical complications as contributing factors. Previously reported Ike Turner passed away at his home in California on December 12 at the age of 76. The cause of his death at that time was not released.

Incarcerated rapper Foxy Brown has asked a New York judge for an early release from the Rikers Island correctional facility so that she can travel to Hollywood to receive treatment for her hearing problems. Foxy underwent special surgery in 2006 to treat her sudden and severe hearing loss. Now, the battery on a hearing device she uses has malfunctioned. .According to the New York Daily News, Fox attached a handwritten note to a motion filed by her lawyer requesting that sent Judge Melissa Jackson grant the release in time for a January 30 appointment.“I am terrified of not hearing a fire alarm go off, or being locked in a cell, and someone not being kind enough to let me out, since not everyone understands the severity of my condition,” she explained in the letter.

I don't feel sorry for her at all she should have thought about all this while she was playing Mike Tyson at the Nail Salon and Weave store. PUHLEASE!!!!

Marion Jones Opens Up to Oprah

In her first interview since being sentenced to six months in prison for lying about her steroid use and check fraud, Marion Jones accepts responsibility and says she has no regrets. "I think that I absolutely should have to accept responsibility for breaking the law," she says on the Oprah Winfrey Show in an episode airing Wednesday. "I have no regrets for doing what I did on October the 5th and pleading guilty and admitting to the world that I lied, that I've made mistakes." After her October admission, Marion was stripped of her Olympic medals – something much easier to deal with than the pain of upsetting her loved ones, she says. "[It pales] in comparison to seeing my husband cry," she tells Winfrey. "They [pale] in comparison to seeing my mother have to stand there in the courtroom and bawl. You know, those things to me are what mean the most." Jones, who has a 4-year-old son at home, admits she is disappointed to be serving time instead of just being on probation, but says, "I have to live with it. My family has to live with it." And she and her husband have yet to find the way to explain the situation to their young son. "It's a very sensitive topic, and we're not dealing with a 15-year-old here who perceives things a different way," she says. "We're talking about a 4-year-old who was upset this morning that I couldn't drop him off at school, you know? It's going to be challenging." Right now, getting her through the challenges are her supporters whose "prayers have really allowed me to get through it and be strong." Jones adds: "Everybody strays at some point in their life, and I strayed and I made mistakes and I am no different than anybody else except for the fact that you see me on the front page of the paper."
