Hot days are finally here! All I want these days is a long dress, hawaianas, iced coffee and i'm ready to go. Today we had a great time in Union Square, where we had a brunch at Eataly and chilled at the nearby gardens.

Romantic Interiors

I have hard time picking the best interior from the above pictures since they all complete each other and could without a doubt belong to the same house.

What I especially love about these pictures is the fact that in each and every one of them there is one bold colorful object that revives the whole room and its atmosphere. I don't think that it's appealing to overdo neither in fashion nor in interior design. When it comes to decor, it's crucial for me to stick to my minimalistic taste and clean lines with a great emphasis on the objects that can easily revamp the whole room. Soon we'll be changing house and I'm already gathering new ideas! I'm ready for the next interior challenge:)

Rainy days are back in New York and I'm not complaining...why? because I get to wear my new trench coat which I bough back in London a month ago.

London-Part 2

It took one visit to London for me to madly fall in love with this city. It's so much different from all the others that I've seen, and believe me I've seen many. London has it's unique architecture that's nothing alike other european capitals. London shopping and style is also very diverse, but what I especially loved about this city is that old and new are perfectly blended together; along historical building and architecture, modern design co exist without a conflict, in fact there are many cool cafes and shops with a minimalistic decor. All in all I had a great time and I'm sure that I'll be back some day:)

Recently I visited Nespresso on Prince street in Soho. It was one of those hottest days when all you want is to chill out and have an ice coffee to enjoy and unwind.
Btw, I'm seriously considering buying one of those colorful and cool cappuccino machines that they are selling on the first floor, with all the cool flavors that they also offer.

You probably wonder why I haven't posted for over a month, and you are right, this is not ok but I have a pretty good reason, I spent the whole month globe trotting:)
One of this trips destination was London, it was the first time I visited this amazing and picturesque city and despite the crazy "battle" between the sun and the stubborn rain, I had an amazing time.
As you know,I never use a map when I'm visiting an unknown city, since this is the best way to explore and get amazed by whatever comes along.
I never imagined London was this beautiful, every street I saw astonished me with its beauty and uniqueness.

We spent the last week-end in Boston, explored some of its areas and tasted great food. We had a great time but I couldn't help missing New York:)
We're back but not for too long, ahead of us there is another exciting destination and this time it's London.
Since this will be my first time visiting the city, all your tips and suggestions are welcome as always:)

Abbiamo passato il fine settimana a Boston, abbiamo visitato alcune zone ed abbiamo assaggiato la cucina locale.
Abbiamo assolutamente passato un bel week-end, ma New York mi e' mancata parecchio:)
Ora siamo ritornati ma fra poco ci attende una nuova destinazione, e questa volta Londra.
Sara' la prima volta che visito questa città e sono molto emozionata. Come sempre accetto con piace qualsiasi vostro suggerimento su cosa fare e dove andare.

Madison Avenue

Before I first came to New York I thought that fifth avenue was the holy of holiest for fashion lovers but after I have explored Madison Avenue to the full I quickly realized that the true heaven is here!
Walking along Madison you will find a long list of the "big guns" as I call them; from Dolce Gabbana to Chanel and Celine, you name it, they are all here located one after the other shamelessly luring us to come inside and spend a whole salary or even more on a pair of "drop dead gorgeous" shoes or bag.
Temptations are hard as they say so be careful cause sometimes you just get mesmerized and feel like doing something bad..really bad ( or maybe good)! On the other hand you can always window shop, which is much easier and especially cheaper! Enjoy!

Prima di arrivare a NY pensavo sempre che il posto più sacro per gli amanti della moda era il 5th Avenue, invece una volta visitata la Madison Avenue ci ho messo ben' poco a capire che la vera mecca era proprio qui. I nomi più grandi sono tutti qui, dal Chanel e Dolce Gabbana a Celine e tanti altri. Uno dopo l'altro ci invitano senza nessun pudore ad entrarci e spendere un salario intero e anche di più su un paio di scarpe favolose oppure una borsa.
Dicono che e' facile cadere nelle tentazioni e si può arrendersi facilmente facendo una cosa proibita..molto proibita (o forse no) comunque se non volete proprio prendere rischi e' sempre più facile guardare le vetrine!:)

Pastel Fever

Summer is closer as ever and as always there is an atmosphere of something new and fresh in the air. I've always been a fan of pale, muted pastel hues and I'm more than happy to adopt this new tendency in fashion as many other bloggers already did.
I still don't have a post with pastel outfit pieces but I have gathered some of my favorite latest pictures from my own photography album.

The weather in New York is getting sunnier every day and we can start taking some of the heavy layers off and refresh our wardrobes for summer. Dark and monochromatic hues have given way to pale pastel colors which I absolutely adore and can't wait to pull an "all pastel" outfit ( soon on the blog).

Also I'm extremely excited for my upcoming trip to London since it will be the first time.
The first thing that I'll do when I'm there? eat fish and chips you might think, but no! I'll take a picture in the red phone booth, always wanted to do that!:)

West Village

For those of you who still don't know, I live in New York and every weekend I explore different areas of the city. Every time I feel like I've seen and done it all, I come across new places and nooks. This time the focus was on West Village and I have to say that I liked it a lot. I think it's like a smaller version of Soho, but there are still some fine fashion boutiques and cafes you can find here. Also the atmosphere is more relaxed and laid back.
What is your favorite part of New York?

Per tutti quelli voi che ancora non sapete, abito a New York ed ogni settimana esploro diversi parti di questa meravigliosa città.
Questa settimana sono andata a West Village e devo dire che sono rimasta piacevolmente stupita. Direi che West Village a la versione più' piccola di Soho, am che offre ottime ristoranti e negozi. In più' l'atmosfera e' più rilassata e tranquilla.

In this post I gathered some of my favorite spots in the city, places that I often visit and always have a blast. Make sure to visit the following places once in New York, you won't be disappointed!
1. Laduree (Madison Avenue)- the mother of all macaroons, here you will find every possible and immaginery taste you desire, even in rose taste. My favorite is definitely vanilla.
2. Wholefoods- best place to shop for food in my opinion, fresh and healthy products.
3.Aroma (tribeca)- my favorite coffee place in NY.

Casadei Spring/Summer 2012

Lately I'm finding myself shoe obsessed as never before, I'm in continuous search for the perfect new summer shoes, maybe because I have recently updated my bag collection with a new tote and now I'm more in the "buy a new pair of shoes" mode or maybe because I'm planning the perfect vacation for this summer, destination is still unknown though Barcelona pops often into my head, so I need a "pop of color" shoes for that occasion. Among the brands that I've been browsing lately are: Casedei, Giuseppe Zanotti and Sergio Rossi, all of them offering an array of bright colors for the summer.
In the picture above it's a new cheerful and playful collection from Casadei.

Ultimamente mi trovo ossessionata di scarpe più' che mai. Forse perché ho appena comprato una nuova borsa e quindi adesso sono più' concentrata su nuove scarpe. Oppure perché sto organizzando la vacanza perfetta per questo estate e quindi ho bisogno di nuove scarpe per l'estate.

Shopping In Soho

Today New York was on fire, literally speaking:) it was shiny and hot outside so I couldn't miss this opportunity to hit my favorite spots of the city among which Soho area, which is becoming my all times favorite spot in Manhattan. Soho offers everything from fashion, design and art to culinary so when I come here I find everything I'm into and never get disappointed.
Today I finally found a leather biker jacket by Maje and this time not in classic black color but in a bright blue, and to tell you the truth, it feels great to dare with colors sometimes and try different things and shades as opposed to usual. (I will show you the jacket in the following post)

New Dooney&Bourke tote

Finally found the tote I've been lately craving for, with the right shape and color by Dooney&Bourke.
This is the first time I'm buying this brands bag and I have to say that the variety of bags that they offer is enormous; all the shapes, colors and types of leather possible at a very reasonable price compared to other brands. What I loved the most about the bag is the type of leather which it's made of; very soft and of a superb quality. I have to say that many other more expensive brands, put ridiculous price tags and don't even offer the same quality so my advice for you is to go for it and try the brand:)

Since I came to New York, I've been desperately looking for a place to enjoy a good coffee. I'm not a big Starbucks fan, in fact I don't understand what the big fuss is all about, although I do love their pastries:)
However, I was head over heels when Aroma ( Israeli origin coffee house) was opened in Tribeca, which is a walking distance from our house.
Every weekend I go there with my family and enjoy my sunny weekends, you should try it too:)
