Bryce loves playing with our neighbor , Quinn. She teaches him many things about rinding bikes, a razor, and her cat, Cleo. We are so thankful the neighbors are wonderful people.

Our trip to Vancouver has been packed with fun activities. Every time we get back to the hotel room we crash hard. Bryce's favorite spot is to lay in the window sill.

What's great about the Vancouver BC Library? I'm sure the books are great. And the architecture was superb, but Bryce that it was the lift.

Yesterday we arrived in Vancouver, British Columbia...on Denise's birthday. We are staying at an incredible hotel, The Sutton Place, and are having a wonderful time. Happy B-day Denise! Today we are off to the aquarium and Stanley Park.

A couple of weeks ago we went to a few wineries (shocker, huh?). One of them, Torii Mor, has a zen garden. After an employee showed Bryce around, he had to take me (Daddy) to explain how the fountain worked.

Elementary Swings

It's been years -- and I mean YEARS since my parents have been on the swings. This was a nice treat for everyone. We ducted out of Justin's graduation party long enough to enjoy my elementary playground. The swings, merry-go-round and animal rockers were the same ones that were there when I was in elementary. Kind of scary and kind of cool at the same time.

One of the many special things Elia has taught Bryce is to say "a little bit" by using his fingers to gestrue, squinting his eyes and speaking in a soft gentle voice.
