Divine Perfection

I live in the city now… a Modern Yogi, calm amidst the sea of humanity driven by desires of the modern world. I have come to see things in a new light and Love. It has been good for me to experience this, as it has stripped away the last vestiges of the “old ways” that were deeply buried in my sub-consciousness. Funny, as I have been in my own Himalayan cave right here in the city and now I know it is possible to maintain a lightness of being “no matter what”. I have been saying for weeks now to clients and friends that it is uber-important to maintain a “positive” outlook regardless of what the external world view is showing us at our present moment. Negativity blocks the process of creation and stifles the flow of Universal Energy that is available to me… to You. It is undeniable. Do your own research, hypothesize and conduct your own experiment. Don’t’ take my word for it! I am merely a guide, pointing to a possibility; it is up to you! I know now, because I have taken this experience into my studio and played with it. Experimented, tested, listened and tried different things. Direct personal experience is the way to your own personal understanding… it is the way to your Faith. If you have been following my posts, you will know what I mean by that statement. Faith, it is the foundation of the movement out of the darkness and into the light. Do not believe all your eyes see… it simply is not real! There is much more going on than any of us can be aware of at any given moment. We must persevere in order to elevate our experience into higher vibrations of light energy. You will know it when you have arrived at a new way of being… So, small town boy, living in a big city woke up this morning and went outside, as he is accustomed to doing with his coffee and tobacco to greet the day. The sun has risen; it is a good day. The first thing I remembered is that on Fridays the institution has decided that it will sweep the south curb on my street between 8 and 9 am. I know this because I have sent 99 alarms on my iPhone! See, technology does help! As I rounded the corner of the house, the south side of the street was practically empty as my neighbors also remembered this weekly event and as I looked for my truck, which is usually parked in front of the house, I sighed a relief. Three nights ago, after returning from a software release party, I parked on the other side of the street. Well, I was elated now because I didn’t’ have to find a place to move my truck… Then it dawned on me… When do they sweep the north curb? Hmmmmm…. Thursday, it turns out… As I walked up to...

Have Faith the Path Unfolds…

We are blessed to be on this path together. Ever-present to the truth of the experience in the moment, we can better align to the forces of the Universe that sweep us along our life journey. Focus and clarity, honed by practice in meditation, yoga, breath and consciousness, has come. With steadfast devotion to the highest good, the way unfolds and clearly the path defines. There are always options, to be sure, yet as the consciousness builds the knowing of “right” choice and action becomes easier. While the way is clear now, it wasn’t always like that. We must acknowledge where we are on the journey in order for the change to come. Take stock of the current situation, yet don’t attach to it. Don’t believe what the senses are telling you, but rather cast your vision into the unknown for a moment. Settle into your energy now and allow yourself to expand it beyond any place you have ever experienced yet. There is a new blessing coming… When we allow ourselves just a moment to relax into the Now, amazing things begin to happen. First of all, there is a tremendous sense of peace and tranquility when we arrive. It is palpable, and though I am a writer… words escape the ability to describe this experience. Merely, I will say… you will know when you are in the presence of the divine and truly seated in your Soul’s home. Your heart will come alive and your energy will begin to expand beyond previously accepted circumstance, fear or limitation. You will come to life! Allow it to build… Deepen your breath, now, whatever you are doing and expand your consciousness. It is from this place that “big ideas and insights” come, but the “best” ones don’t actually come from you, or your intellect, rather they are received from the superconsciousness that you connect into. Feel how that sounds to you right now, first and then think about it. Doesn’t it make sense… Look at all the trend-setting leaps in business, marketing, personal development and spirituality for a moment. Consider that whoever brought something forward, whether they knew it or not, was connected to something much larger than themselves as an individual intellect. They were listening and received some form of guidance first… a feeling or gut instinct and then applied the intellect to fill it out. You know this now… you have experienced it and it has made a difference in your life, love and relationships. Perhaps it has come to you to go beyond any perception you have ever had about yourself and you have taken the steps to move that forward. Well, there may come a time as you move further into the unknown and unfamiliar that your faith is tested. Divine Devotion

I have spoken about Divine devotion before and this morning it comes up again. Often I have been asked what is Shamanism? Or what does it mean to be a Yogi? In Heroes of the Now I suggest, from direct personal experience that the two are the same. Shaman and Yogi’s have been around since man began to intellectualize this worldly experience, I postulate. There are some that suggest Shamanism is the oldest form of “Spirituality” out there, with indications that man recognized Spirit as long as 25,000 years ago, archeologically evidenced by cave paintings and sculptures found in various parts of the world. The simplest definition I suggest is merely that devotees to this path recognize, understand and see that energy, or Spirit, is the root of humanities experience. That there is a Universal Consciousness in this energy and that it is the very Life Force that creates our reality. Some call it God. In my past, I was trained through my upbringing to discard this notion and cast aside the term, God, as something that was not to be talked about, embraced or understood further. Logically, it didn’t make sense to those around me and as a result, I, too, moved away from the Divine and entered the material world of the senses… Yes, it is far easier to believe the senses and intellect, accounting for the life experience that unfolds before our very eyes. Yet, I always knew there was more. The path of the material experience, one of the senses and logical mind can be void of Spirit. Sometimes, perhaps, there is a spark of awareness that a higher power exists, but it is quickly shed due to training or teachers, as in the material world, it is the body and mind that is the doer; the one who gets things done… puts food on the table, shelter overhead, protects the family and various other sundry tasks dictated by human survival, first, then societal expectation. This leads to a life devoid of the essence of All that Is and brings down the Iron Curtain, I spoke about a few days ago. If you consider where humanity is at today, just look around you, it is plain to see that as a world culture, we are NOT on a Spiritual path. And you may ask… What can I do about it? I am just one… That is your answer… you are the One! That has the power to change it all. It all begins with you, right now. Open your hearts, dear Ones… and close your eyes, but for a moment and travel within. Cast off the burdens placed upon you by a misguided notion. You are not the doer, when you let the Universal Energy flow through your being. You are the instrument, Divine in your nature and your purpose on this Journey is to realize that.
