“We’re going to start with the first one it’s pretty obvious and that is say thank you. So anytime someone does something for you or anytime that you feel in heart that you should be saying thank you or showing some gratitude then do it. Don’t think you’re going to send soft, just say thank you. Now you don’t need to say thank you over and over and over again, once is enough maybe twice, that’ll do.”

“Today we’re going to talk about freeing your mind and it’s not a matrix thing I promise. What we’re going to talk about is using your mind to be creative. One of the things that happens with our brain is we use it for the wrong purpose. If we start to use our brain for the wrong purpose then we can’t use it for what it’s really designed for.

“Now our brain is really good at solving problems, processing, making logical decisions. It’s not really good at being a memory tool, and most of us use our brains to remember things. We always remember “I’ve got to get the milk”, “don’t forget the bacon”, “I’ve got to call Joe”, these are the things that our brains are not designed for. There are better things to capture that stuff – like a pen and paper – and then you can free your mind to do all the creative stuff that you want to do.

“Today we’re talking about gratitude. We’re not talking about fake gratitude or anything like that. We’re talking about starting whatever your adventure is from a place of gratitude and that means being thankful for what you’ve already got.

“Now, I made a great mistake with this when I started out. I started from a place which is relative to not having gratitude for what I had. That was a place of discontentment. I was telling myself I wasn’t happy with what I had and the reason that I was trying to go forward was because I wanted to become content. That’s a really negative place to start from.”
