Ain't this a bitch. A "new" constellation!
As if those stars haven't been there the entire time.
As if Ophiuchus hasn't been there, and on the books oh, for . . . let's see,
at least as long as the pyramids have been standing.

Life is fun. I greatly appreciate that this is being integrated NOW in the general consciousness as we are moving quite swiftly now towards the "critical mass" sequence for the shift from the Age of Pisces to Aquarius -- or REALLY, are we???? After all, those age delineations will now need to be "adjusted" too, won't they.

Just be rest assured, unless your life is undergoing a 2012 kind of shift, you will wake up tomorrow much like you did today. Shaking your heads at times at what all the fuss is about mostly. Or, perhaps even slightly shifted when you have to move out of your house ... well, you expected that, didn't you? At this point, losing a home isn't as life altering as it used to be, even though for a handful, it is life and death. As that is how different life on a different gear can be even for the things in our life that are so well secured on so many levels if we choose to place security over going into the unknown.

Gears . . . you know, in old skool clocks, there were the gears that worked with one another to keep the time of the watch in as close to perfect sync as possible. They were the checks and balances so that all of the universe evolves together. "So as above, so as below," right? "On earth as it is in heaven," right? We move closer, they move closer; this one moves faster, that one moves slower -- how often have you seen that in relationships, life, science, etc.

The time sequencing DOES matter, if you are shifting gears in your life. But if your life has found its rhythm that makes you happy, then, this "new discovery" is either already integrated into your perspective of your existence, or ... its irrelevant to it. At least, it is irrelevant in the present way the information is being presented.

Don't get freaked out and troubled because everything you thought was a description of you, and it so perfectly was, thereby helping you to define how to maneuver through this life experience. Look at this as an amazing opportunity to look at your life from a "new gear" -- maybe a faster one, maybe a slower one. Or maybe, shifting your perspective may just help you operate that much better in the life experience you are creating with all the rest of us.

I am reading Magnetic Reversals and Evolutionary Leaps by Robert W. Felix, and he's talking about this exact concept in the natural world we live in, and how the natural world evolves. So goes the natural world, so goes the cosmos on every level, right? Or are we not connected to all that is? As I know there are many like me, and would use the question, is God not all connected to all of us? And, whether we like it or not, aren't we all connected God? A parent or creator can never lose the connection to the child or that which they have created -- even if they let it go. Infinity is like that.

And, we are currently conscious now of the magnetic shift of the magnetic poles here on planet Earth now, aren't we. After all it was in the news.

So, live your life and experience all you want to experience in the comfort of your own secured perspective on this reality. There are only fears if you choose to see them and give them power.

because we like to do it! sometimes a description fits us for what that label is worth, we can use it, we can all be "legally blonde" at some points in our lives to b who we really are.

and that's all this is about -- this "new constellation" and all that jazz in the news. i appreciate the information, while i do not appreciate the ignorance with which it is being presented, its all good, right?! oh what confusion this will give so many people who violently opposed the notion that we were reading astrological charts of an illusory reality created by Ptolemy's zodiac way back then.

u know me, if u want me to tell u what all this news means 2 you, send me an email, i'll be happy to give you my 2 cents worth. its the way this blonde has fun!

Karmic Neptune Conflict

"Karma gets released when you just let it go."

I either read or heard this statement this week or maybe it was just a song lyric that struck me then stuck with me (although its one of those things as I retraced my steps to find it again, it is nowhere to be found).

Sounded easy enough.

And, of course, it really is that simple, right?

But how do you just "let it go" when "it" is this elusive thing you think you've figured it out, until that karmic wave returns for another round of chaos and conflict to remind you that, "Nope, that 'it' wasn't it!"

I was having a conversation this evening and I was accused, as I often am, of creating conflict. I felt like the other person had not heard a word that I was saying (yes, Mercury retrograde in full effect!) and had no idea why I even said what I did. But, that conversation led me to this thought, and I felt that maybe this is what this "it" is: You do not create conflict.

Conflict merely exists.

There's one side and then there's the other. The duality of our existence simply is what makes a whole reality. Perhaps karma is simply the process of working in the conflict you find yourself and doing it better each time you find yourself in the midst of the same conflict, and you release the karma when you realize you did not create the conflict, you merely created the need or desire to experience it.

If karma works on a debt kind of situation like some people propose, you are here to help the whole by being in that unique energy that interacts with all the other energies it attracts to create the reality that swirls into existence because you are alive and breathing on planet earth. And, that reality is created, conflict and all, to bring the whole back into unity in a new way.

Karma is what keeps bringing that process back again and again and again until you understand how YOU are supposed to work in the reality (conflict and all) you find yourself. And, understand that YOU are supposed to do this for the purpose of, to use a political term, "form[ing] a more perfect union" with all that exists.

If you accept that you do not create conflict, then your ego cannot be attached to the existence of the conflict or which role you play in it, other than you need to play your role. Life is indeed a state, and you are an actor on the stage with the outcome to be whatever will be written by all the players present in this particular improvisation we call life.

So, I thought, how is it that we can recognize that we are actually in a conflict that is karmically connected to us, specifically. When do we need to pay the debt? How big is our role in bringing the whole closer to oneness through the process of being in conflict in order to make the whole complete? What part of creating peace is our responsibility?

Another "con" word came to my mind: 'confusion.' Confusion or chaos is what exists in opposition to order. To the extent you are confused (e.g., when something does not make sense to you), is the degree to which you are to play your role in the conflict to make the situation whole. If you are not confused, then don't get involved unless you are asked to help clear up the confusion, and offer your lines THEN let it go for others to exist in the conflict until they find their way to unity and clarity. If you can do that, then you will live in peace even though others are in conflict.

These are very Neptunian thoughts, I realize, and playing with the symbols of astrology along these lines poses some interesting concepts to be applied to the personal Neptunian experience and to karma. Neptune is the planet representing the "dissolving" of realities -- sounds like a "letting it go" process to me. Being a part of the collective planets, it is about the connection between you and the whole: your purpose, your role, your place in the conflict.

The better you can recognize and accept the role you play in the collective, the better you can help bring the conflict that already exists into peace and harmony -- both in your personal life and in the world.

You do not have the power to create conflict any more than you have the power to make your heart beat. Your heart beats. Conflict exists. You do have the power to create peace, just as you have the power to create a healthy environment for your heart to continue to beat. And, sometimes you don't and 'shit happens.' All you can do is your best in the moment.

Perhaps, karma is nothing more than playing the "con" game knowing that all you do is really and truly only love.

A Retro Holiday

I saw that while this Holiday Season comes upon us, so does the final Mercury retrograde of 2010! Lovely! I just can't wait to see what it has in store for us.

I think I'll just stay in and shop online . . . or not at all!

Expect the intensity we are experiencing now to only increase -- which is customary for the holiday season, but in a certain area of your life, its going to be like intensity on steroids. And, hopefully by now, you know you can control the flow of that intensity, if you remain on your toes and proactively aware of the energies you are actually experiencing.

What twists this holiday season, is Mercury will be retrograde all by itself. This is kind of a rare thing for Mercury to be without the retrograde company of at least one of the outer collective planets to give us all a theme to unite our experience. So, don't expect too much understanding from your compatriots for the travesty that is your life. This Holiday Season will be very personal indeed, and unless you are having fun together, the common ground will be scare indeed. READ: go to every party you are invited to and leave your worries at home.

What is Mercury's eye going to be magnifying during this time of year which is already over electrified? Start keeping track now to the areas where communication and movement seems keen to draw your attention. When its all said and done, we will all likely have great battle stories to tell, and a few funny one's too. After all, Mercury will be playing in Sagittarius and Capricorn if you are immersed in the world around us, but reality has it retrograding completely in Sagittarius. WHICH MEANS: expect to have the mundane routine of your life kicked out from under you! Either the prevailing party energy will unseat any notion you have of being serious to finish out this year, OR, that mundane routine of life will seem so superficial, you just keep asking yourself "Why is my life so meaningless?"

Its always interesting to me that fun and expansion go hand-in-hand with the energies of Sagittarius, and if you find yourself experiencing delay after delay, obstacle after obstacle, static and more static, I suggest you stop whatever it is you thought you were doing and go to a holiday party, or better yet, throw one -- as that would help you integrate the energies of this retrograde very beautifully.

Paying attention to the question, "What more could I want?" would be my advice to anyone trying to expand at this time. For some, that question maybe should be, "What more should I want?" For others, the debate which question to ask is really the question.

Whatever house(s) the retrograde is hitting your personal experience will be the area in life the energies are focused. If you don't know and aren't inclined to ask or look it up, you can feel it because it will be the area of your life where you find yourself thinking about these questions. So, pretend you are five years old and climb on Santa's lap once more .... ask away, you may be surprised what the universe thinks you deserve.

That can cut both ways,

so be careful and thoughtful

in what you ask for . . . .

When does this happen ... well, after December 5th, you will feel a surge from Uranus going direct and, for 5 days, every planet will be moving direct until Mercury goes retrograde on the 10th. Should be a fun lead-in to this holiday season -- if you liked the E ticket rides, you should enjoy the blast of play and expansion this 2010 holiday season offers you.

Personal Optimization Training With Mercury Retrograde

Oh, yes, that geo-centric phenomenon of the planetary retrograde.

The optical illusion of a "backward" moving planet that is just that, an illusion. But, ask any magician and the illusion is a powerful tool to create a reality that only the magician can create for the entire audience of participants in his magic show.

And, your life IS your magic show, so let's use the illusion of the retrogrades, rather than be a spectator and allow the illusion to hide from us the reality of our lives.

Usually, if you are aware that Mercury even goes retrograde and a little about it, you have experienced those mechanical ups and downs, the difficulties in communications and movement that are the territory of Mercury. But rather than your nemesis, Mercury retrograde is here to help you create reality through the proper use of the illusion.

If you remember, quite consciously, during Mercury's retrograde that you are to "row gently down the stream" you will be able to steer around any "rocks," "blocks" and "obstacles" with ease through accepting them as being "protection" rather than what they are usually seen as: disasters! Ok, so your car broke down. Ok, so your iPhone fell in the bathtub. Ok, so you've lost everyone's phone number and you lost your voice. Receive it. Rejoice in it. Accept it as divine providence that there are no random incidents, that all of this is happening for a reason that YOU are controlling.

The more you look for synchronicity in your life, the less you are subject to random happenings. Trust the universe's plan of synchronicity even if its not apparent in your immediate vision. If you cannot see the synchronicity, take some time to back out of everything ... move retrograde with the planet(s) ... get in sync with the movement of the illusion to understand its workings so you can begin to create once again, this time more fully in the flow of the universe and the true vision of the reality you are here to create.

Sometimes, we need to retrograde into our subconscious to understand what flow our conscious lives are here to live, don't be afraid to let go of the known, the planned, the previously visualized ... otherwise you cannot receive the bigger vision that the whole you is aware of, even if the conscious you is yet unaware.

Twisting Up The Spiral or Aquarian Tendencies

When one contemplates evolution . . . that innate desire to do something different, ostensibly more advanced but sometimes not . . . the spiral is the symbol of those thoughts, that desire, that movement. The spiral requires transformation and/or change to break out from the circular pattern of 'revolution' to convert that movement to 'evolution.'

Finding one's way through that transformation or change is tricky at best, but using 'revolutionary' astrology -- the astrology of circles that keep us revolving around a zodiac, trapped in a geo-centric reality -- does not allow for evolutionary astrological navigation.

OK -- I KNOW I'm using that catch phrase, "evolutionary astrology," but I'm not talking about that concept or system of "new" astrology that has been hijacked by some modern astrologers. "Evolutionary Astrology" is a system still based on a geo-centric zodiacal circle. A beneficial circle of understanding no doubt for many, but for most reading this, the yawns of "been there, done that" are being heard far and wide. This is not a blog on "Evolutionary Astrology" but on the navigation of spiral evolution using astrology.

The most essential element in navigating a spiral course for your life is perspective -- not the geo-centric one presented by the zodiac cast in the traditional forms. Using a helio-centric and "fixed stars" to help establish a zodiacal chart in context to the larger picture, one can begin to eclipse the revolution of the earth reality and spiral into a more cosmic reference point for the individual's experience here on earth.

How else can you get the loft needed to spiral out of the circular rotation of the single plane of three dimensional existence if not for the build up of energy along the revolutionary circle upon which the spiral is connected?

It is not necessary that everyone evolves, in fact, not everyone can/should/will or even wants to, most people are happy either being a part of the prevailing energy in either a passive or active supportive role or in a passive or active contra role. If you are evolutionary in nature, those around you engaged in that system are your power source for the propulsion of your spiral shift. The more they are themselves in the role they play in life, the more energy they contribute to the spiral shift you are consciously making.

The more you support those around you doing their life as best they can, they are doing the same for you -- they don't *have* to be even in the same book you are in to be your support for the task you have to evolve the consciousness of yourself, and hence, the world. You can *try* to tell them about the potential of the spiral, but the truth is, only those who know that the spiral exists and they want to "jump on board" can hear the truth. Don't waste too much time trying to convince others about the truth, just live it the best you can for yourself.

Astrologically, I believe, if you are not looking at your helio-centric zodiac chart, you cannot navigate the spiral shift. Only through that helio-centric perspective can you glean a picture big enough to understand your connection to the spiral energy for our times on this planet in this solar system. For some, I believe, the context is even greater, including a alignment with the Galactic Center and reference context to some major stars that have resonance with the individual.

Look at a bigger context of your existence, and soon the navigation of the Aquarian Age ride won't seem so unknown, as the information you can glean from the zodiacs drawn with these larger contexts will allow you the re-member that which you came here knowing.

2010 here we come . . .

now, many of you may wonder . . . 'elaine doesn't even use the gregorian calendar anymore, why is she writing about that time cycle?' . . . i write about it because it is the time sequence the prevailing world exists on, and if you do not understand the energy of that sequence, you can never bring that energy into a new time sequence -- your timing, your existence, your journey's sequence. bringing energy, money, whatever, into the world you live in because you are doing what you love.

besides, this is the time we begin to feel the pull of the new energy we are being pulled toward in 2010. think about how much energy is built up to the new year cycle. just think about the fact that almost all corporate financial sequences begin again each 01 january. this is the time when the pull from future is definitively stronger than the pull from the past (unless of course, you are running with a severe temporal deficit, then the past is probably overwhelming you, but that's a discussion for another day!).

working to maintain 'beingness' in this futuristic magnetism stream is a challenge as we make so many future plans ... what am I going to be Halloween? what do I want from Santa Claus? And, the push from our external environment to be future orientated is a blessing if you use that time connection while maintaining the ground to this present moment of being.

2010 is a 3 year . . . but its a 3 year after a master 11 vibration 2 year, which 2009 still has to play out. that master 1-1 is that which one must walk fully and completely in the being that is you.

so, 9 months done, are you a master or are you still thinking you *should* be one, or trying to convince yourself that you are one . . . or are you simply a master. masters no longer have to try, they just do it. 3 more months of training and discipline, and this is where you can believe in just about anything to be possible, as we are being pulled into a year of manifestation.

the 3 vibration is, obviously, related to the trinity, the triangle ... when that which consists of "god" came together to exist as "god" in the form prescribed and optimized for existence in this third dimension. less singularly in belief structure, 3 is the manifestation of the sum of the parts in the third dimension, call it god, the cosmos or merely our feeble attempts to understand our existence and connection to that which is infinite or is, perhaps, only chaos under our defined terms.

so, as you consider today what you want to manifest in 2010, ask yourself these questions . . . how would the person i am be if that which i am working to manifest was manifest today in this moment? 'act it until you are it' . . . besides practice makes perfect, even when it comes to being you.

Living Sidereally in a Tropical World No. 2

No. 2: The Seed of Conception

The more we understand, the less we fear.
The less we fear, the more we risk.

If you can know the 'seed' of conception, the source of the fruit, the full intention of the truth, you may be one step closer to understanding the answer to "why?"

In business, there is the time the idea is born and then the time the idea is 'incorporated' and the interaction between those two energies is knowledge that one must understand to be successful.

Similarly, running a transit chart for your birth's conception gives a "snap shot" of what was being planted into the natal chart. If you are one of those moms who know when you conceived, this is the kind of information that astrologers can use, so keep that information in the baby book!

On personal levels, take a look at the psychology of the relationship between the seed and the birth. Was the fruit born out of the seed of love, commitment, dreams, hope, faith, conflict, power struggles, insecurity, desperation, guilt . . . you name it. A good dose of all of it was sown into you in order to transform and elevate the family's survival and evolution on all levels. While you are an individual, you are still human and humans have that intense and basic need to survive, your family thread can sometimes be cut, but its still the same thread.

Success in this world requires an integrated being on all levels of existence. Leave one of the levels out, and well, there's this saying about "a couple of cards short of a full deck." In which case, you will find yourself working against the "deadly sins" rather than rowing gently down the stream in the dream that is your life.

Flipping out of the matrix contraption requires a new navigation system. The poles have shifted -- or rather, will shift whenever you are ready for them to do so -- and before you know where you are going in this reality you want to create, you have to understand and know where your "center of gravity" is. [Ref. Ouspensky's "The Fourth Way."]

In astrology, its the cardinal compass points of the zodiac. And, just using basic astrology, the midheaven can really stand for your external achievements, career, standing in society, etc. The nadir or opposite of that, would be your internal grounding and the depths of your roots. "The deeper the roots, the taller the tree."

Looking at the Ascendant and Descendant axis, the questions comes to balance of "me" and "the other." "Do unto others as you would have them do to you," and "be the change you wish to see," and "you reap what you sow," all those realizations can instantly change your perception on any number of levels at any moment in time. The balance between "you" and "the other" . . . moving into this Aquarian age, this becomes a major point of transition.

How to be fully you while being fully integrated into the whole?!

We are coming from Pisces culture programming, and the end of it at that, so there is the best of teachings and the worst of its teachings, and that's why our choices are OUR choices and not our parents, etc., and our choices need to be clear and aligned with our highest good for our survival and that of our children.

Finding that balance and the imbalance of your "programming" is the goal of viewing the "conception" transits, and applying that information to the shifts in your "zodiac compass."

If you make the decision to "be" in the reality you want to create, you have to know how to navigate and read your compass.

Adrift in the After Life of the Titanic

The Titanic is sinking. You are sitting in a row boat with several other people. This is the new reality, what now?

There is never an easy answer when you are working in the world of symbols until hindsight can reveal the truth from a new perspective. At best, we can glean a glimpse of understanding in the present moment from the symbols we see and their connection in life. Because life is what each of us gives our own unique definition to that which we experience -- truly the meaning of symbols are in the eye of the holder.

The "given" meaning of symbols sometimes mean very little until life experience provides a backdrop for a connection to the collective definitions we give to one symbol or another. To some, something as simply as nursery rhyme can provide the ultimate direction in life:

"Row, Row, Row Your Boat
Gently Down the Stream
Merrily Merrily Merrily
Life is but a dream!"

For others, its just a song we sing as children and it has no meaning. But, if you will and see it as such, all our experience in our world is, in essence, a symbol. You are a symbol of your presently incarnated history, perception, understanding and knowledge. Everything you experience is a symbol.

The Sabian symbols are a new tool I've begun to integrate in my synthesis of astrological symbols, and the Sabian symbology for the current Neptune-Jupiter-Chiron conjunction, which planets are sidereally calculated today at Aquarius 2º28", 2º1", and 2º11", respectively, is:

A deserter from the navy stands suddenly aware of the dawning truth that freedom is never the result of compromise.

The synthesis of this conjunction is that which expands or digs deeper into the illusion or the illumination of cosmic truth for the self to heal. Jupiter which took the wounded centaur, Chiron, is his patron. Jupiter placed Chiron in the stars after Chiron sacrificed himself for Prometheus, hence ending his immortal suffering. Neptune provides a cosmic infusion of cosmic haze in which this stellium is crafting a new reality to be revealed only after the haze is blown away.

Chiron is about the places in our lives that we are rejected just because of who we are. Chiron was rejected by his mother because although, being the son of Kronus (Saturn) he was born an immortal, he was born a centaur. From the cradle we are adjusted so that our expressions and actions are "acceptable." But it is in that cradle when we know ourselves the most intimately . . . what we truly think, what we truly desire to express, who we truly are. As we look now to try to heal the areas we rejected because of our socialization, we must focus our love to accept the parts of us that are us that may have not been what others accepted in us.

A tall order, and definitely one of those "easier said than done," but we have help. Neptune is the cosmic lover, and the planet that dissolves the illusions we have when it comes to our understanding of ourselves. Neptune knows no shame. If others are misunderstanding where you are coming from, laugh.

If its a stressful and serious time with a lot of old patterns of judgment and shame being experienced, Neptune may incite you to indulge in your favorite mind medication, but use this wisely. Medication must be undertaken with the intention of healing, not hiding. The negative affect of hiding through medication can amplify the illusions that have crafted this wound, and you may be digging a deeper hole and you may never find your way out.

Don't you wish you could have laughed at your parents the first time they shamed you because you just said how fake Uncle John's toupee looked? Everyone knew it was funny, probably even Uncle John, but you were shamed because you saw and expressed the humor of innocent observation. The shame is not in what you said, but they felt shame because of what they perceived as an intention you couldn't possibly have.

People do this to one another all the time. "You are guilty because you were doing X." When in reality all you were really doing was Y. But, because the other ascribed what would be their intention on your actions, the projection of shame and guilt results. As an adult, your best response is laughter. If you get on the defensive, you have to ask yourself why you are there? And then, go and take the memory trip to the place the wound began . . . likely that's back to your childhood. What triggered that defensive mechanism?

Understanding a new reality requires the shift in perception that accommodates a new structure for be-ing.

"Be-ing" meaning the full existence of
creative energy in the present moment.

As you awaken to the notion that you create the reality you see around you, you can appreciate the nuances of your creative source and incorporate more and more of those which lie below the surface of the consciousness. Hidden deep within the crevices of the subconscious lies the source for all you do not understand or for that which you choose to deny your authorship of such creation.

Abdication is a choice that denies the human experience
from truthful information and reality.
It empowers the falsehoods of the programming to
establish their foothold patterns in our mental processes.

When we abdicate or deny the energies of our source for the first time to the programmed prevailing energies, we learn a new mental process by which our personal habits are created to deal with the world as we experience it. The shift of the mental patterns require conscience and deliberate retraining for us to seek grounding in reality despite the view we see through our patterned vision.

But if one can begin to see the patterned view, then one can begin to see the difference our true sight brings to the world around us. Then, we can begin to create in our truth the world in which live.

Astrologically, the vision of our world is seen through the cardinal points of the zodiac, our compass as you will. Imagine if you will that "true north" has shifted by several degrees but our maps are all aligned with a "north" that no longer registers on our compass. How can we possibly go through life with a map with the reference point of "north" is not reflected by "true north"? The shift of the polar centers of reality cannot possibly allow us to view the map accurately . . . unless, of course, you use the map with an eye incorporating a "correction" of the compass.

Similarly, we must now view our lives in the astrological context. To look exclusively at the tropical zodiac as being the "map of the individual" ... of the true individual ... demands that we stay in the old reality (that of the Age of Pisces) that was crafted long ago and has been used for the purposes of creating the structure of our present reality. Which has its place and context, but as this shift to enter into the new Age of Aquarius, we must too shift our perspective of astrology concept and cardinal points of reference.

The Age of Pisces is dependent upon our Gregorian time structure and the tropical zodiac, hence its applicability with the current prevailing energy that is giving way to the new Age of Aquarius. For most people, this tropical zodiac and structure as it is will be all that their lifetime will experience, understand and know. For others, a new realization and way of viewing the astrological symbols must be engaged and employed, lest the map be based on a reality with which they have no connection. And for others, a hybrid of the two to allow the bridge to be built, the understanding of operations within both realities and the transition between the two can facilitate exponential development and growth.

Understanding the context of the Great Age within any individual's life is a tool of the precession of the equinoxes and the impact of that on the cardinal points of the astrological chart. The integrated use of several schools of astrology (such as tropical, sidereal or actual) dependent on the individual and their connection with the structures that exist on the many levels of our reality, is the task of the astrologer who undertakes the facilitation of the "alignment of the compass" for the individual.

For the intrepid astrologer, I encourage you to experiment in the schools of thought that once were thought to be so separate and unconnected. You will soon find a thread of integration to help bring a shift to the consciousness of our humanity through the individual way your integrate the symbols to find greater depth of experience for a new way of be-ing.

A Primatic Future

"Hero of Alexandria defined [gnomonic expansion] as follows: 'A gnomon is any figure which, when added to an original figure, leaves the resultant figure similar to the original.' The contemplation of this figure leads to an understanding of one of nature's most common forms of growth, growth by accretion or accumulative increase, in which the old form is contained within the new." From Robert Lawlor's Sacred Geometry.

Gnomonic growth . . . the concept of growth that comes through the inclusion of that which existed before it. Phi, the golden ratio/spiral, or the Fibonacci sequence are a classic example of gnomonic growth. That, gnomonic, is the most common form of growth in the universe, it is a "past" based generative system of growth.

The "stimulus package", the "bailout" and all the things that Obama is trying to do, is a form of gnomonic growth.

Perhaps its time we take a different lesson from the economic universe, one that our entire economic system runs on . . . primatic expansion. "Primatic" in reference to the prime number sequence, is the unpredictable system of security for the operation of our economic system. It is claimed that without these complex systems of security based on the prime numbers, all economic systems based on credit will be destroyed.

The primatic expansion is a form of exclusionary growth or expansion. Once a prime number is found, that number and all its multipliers are now forever deleted from the system. It is, a "future" projective growth model. It is an exclusionary form of growth -- it excludes all that may exist based on that which becomes once it comes into existence.

And, it is an inverse model of our present economic structure (and as this is representative of the universally accepted context, philosophy, reason and thought form which constructs our global operating matrix) from which our solutions -- economically, systemically and philosophically -- are sourced. The past (gnomonic system) should provide the security for what "exists" and expansion should be based on that which is yet to be discovered (primatic expansion).

And now, to get into my other favorite "back burner" subject (the first of which is the prime number sequence), time.

"In gnomonic time, all phases exist in ever-present layers, like the light-year structure of galactic space which makes every glance into a starry night sky a view into the past of distant bodies, while the layers of light just behind the visible light are the future energy waves which will strike and influence the earth. All aspects of the material world, including our own bodies, are therefore in the past tense, existing in a residual gnomonic layer already bypassed by inflowing cosmic energies." Again, from Lawlor's Sacred Geometry.

For us to begin to traverse the fourth dimension of time and space, we must assume and exist in primatic time. Once a prime number, reality, space or time is experienced, it and all of the gnomonic futures that will occur based on the multiples of that instance will be experienced in the oneness of existence and hence be forever excluded from ever sourcing any further growth or expansion of our sequence of numbers, reality, experience or existence based on a 'past.' Hence, erasing the concepts of time or space and our existence as being anything but singular and infinite.

This, primatic growth, is, perhaps, the beginning of our stepping into a practical tool for co-existence in the fourth dimension -- the bridge from the third dimension into the fourth. A construct to allow the use our third dimensional awareness and be-ing-ness in a context of a new dimension we cannot innately understand, and from which we can begin to explore the fourth dimension (and perhaps beyond that) in the universal comfort zone of gnomonic growth and expansion.

I think that made sense.

Saturn Rx . . . Solar Eclipse

a slight gust lifts your hair as you sit down, you know that tonight was just a bit different.
well, if you didn't, then don't bother reading this, or do . . . because just like everything in life, what you do now is your choice . . .

make it and do it.

so, we've been making choices. haven't you during 2009? lots of choices, and when you don't you are willing to submit to the choice of others for all of you.

that's the juxtaposition that saturn as the ruler of capricorn and co-ruler of aquarius represents.

and its turned retrograde. always lots of dad issues when saturn turns retrograde. if you have it natal, father issues will likely be the parental theme of your life especially in the house that it plays in on the morning of your birth. me, lucky me, saturn rx in the 8th. but this is not about me, is it?

so the prescription for this Saturn Rx which started on 31 dec 2k8, yes, this past new year's eve (sends the memories running back to 'what was I doing?'), is: the solar eclipse in 'aquarius' . . . ok, sure, really the moon's in capricorn, but what's the big difference in its remedy for what ails you this Saturn Rx/Mercury Rx . . . = )

thing . . . and will be coming into its 2nd opposition the first week in february!)

as the moon blocks the sun, intuition is being called upon at its highest level. listen to your small inner voice louder than ever -- shuffle through the voices of the ancestors and others who think they know what you should do, and find your own voice and listen to it.

Quantum Paralysis

The standoff in the cosmic skies of Uranus and Saturn ... both moving forward now until Saturn about faces in retrograde on 31 Dec 2K8, when it will shift its direction, angle and strategy. This time until the 31st has all the planets moving direct ... this is "clear sailing" time so to speak, allowing the energy to flow and go with it because its not presenting anything you need to "look back on" to move forward. Being in the moment is critical with an eye forward, this is driving on the interstate freeway or the autobaun.

But as Uranus and Saturn stare each other down in opposition, circling each other, flexing their hands over their cocked and readied weapons of choice, they shadow the conspiracy and intentions of their wills: Saturn to 'make him pay' and Uranus to 'detach from it all' . . . playing out in our everyday lives. Which side are you on? Where is the balance of those two energies in your (and our collective) conflicts?

Because this is about conflict. And it is about facing it, dealing with it until you come to resolution ... that is, if there is resolution to be found and an evolution to experience at this time in your life.

Remember, it wasn't created overnight and its not going to mysteriously disappear overnight as the picture which the resolutions unveil internal conflicts that are larger and deeper over this process for the next two years. But pay attention well as this critical time, here at the beginning of the process, reveals the nature of this conflict for your process in this ourney that will continue into 2010. Paying attention now, will pay dividends later when it seems as if there's no clear vision, no hope or path to resolving any thing whatsoever.

There is a bit of paying the piper (Saturn) that needs to happen in order for one to detach (Uranus) from the situation.

Here's where the opportunity for evolutionary growth comes. Because the one thing we can control, is what are we going to pay the piper? In the tragic dramas of the myths, its always something horrendous, a just punishment for the "evil" done . . . but what about in this new paradigm we are shifting into? Can we "pay it forward" as we pay the piper in a new way?

"Forgive them father they know not what they do," is the kind of evolutionary thought that we can embrace, rather than the disbelief, disgust, anger, resentment, disconcordant feelings that are a natural (or programmed) response of creating some form of "equality" through revenge, judgment and punishment.

BUT, will the piper receive that new form of payment and go on and detach? Because it takes two sides to stay in this opposition relationship that feeds each other in the scenario to perpetuate the cycles of revolution in which we choose to remain locked. Can we accept that which seems "too good to be true" and create a new pattern of freedom that requires no struggle and strife to obtain our liberty?

So, as much as that Saturn wants to seek retribution, if Saturn creates a new structure of forgiveness, understanding and love, will Uranus accept the blessed send off into its freedom, or will Uranus' turn and attach the chains of dependency on its control of how freedom is attained and not just simply receive the freedom so easily and lovingly offered.

Find your balance in the sides of the opposition, look with eyes to both, be the arbitrator of the balance of acceptance and receipt ... choose what you receive as much as you choose what you give . . . 2009 is about those choices, start now in your personal reflection while the planets are moving forward in this first round of negotiation ... it will set the tone for this 2 year period.

What a wonderfully perplexing world we are living in right now!

An Abstractionist View

Age is the external experience of your surroundings.
But, the truth is,
the deeper you are connected with the eternal,
the less you need to experience in the world
to understand yourself.

In his book, Astrology of Inner Space, Carl Payne Tobey retells a story that an inventor John Hays Hammond Jr. related to him about the nature of science. Tobey recalls,

"At one point, he put his hand on a floor lamp and [Hammond] said, 'we call this electricity and because we have given it a name we think we understand it, but we do not know what it is. In university, they classify and give names to things and think they have solved the problem. They have not. They do not know what electricity is.'"

Over 30 years later, [Tobey] told this story to a college student. [The student] said, 'But, that was a long time ago. Now, we know electricity is a stream of electrons.' 'Thought up a new name, eh?' [Tobey] commented. The student laughed, seeing the point. 'I guess you are right,' he said."

Not much has changed in over 35 years. And, in these past 35 years, another issue Tobey goes on to discuss has bored even deeper roots for our planet's system of materialism: our educational systems.

"Opinions depend on education and a large part of our education could be classified as brainwashing, and this kind of education is compulsory both here in in communist countries.

There are two opposing viewpoints in science and elsewhere. One is the materialistic viewpoint, the other the abstract. It would seem that the two can never meet. The materialist is less sensitive, restricted to what he can detect with his five physical senses; while abstractionists, particularly mathematicians, inventors and a large number of engineers, see with their minds....

The materialists believe in the doctrine of materialism, which tells us that all cause lies in matter. Others [abstractionists] consider that life itself is a primary cause....

Materialism thrives on rationalization, reasoning to a conclusion a priori, made in advance. Once the conclusion is made, evidence is carefully divided. All evidence that appears to fit into the doctrine is accepted. All evidence in conflict with the doctrine is excluded as not being respectable. Our compulsory educational system is heavily under the domination of the materialist. Our world of material science is principally under its domination."

Using the labels as defined by Tobey, I am an abstractionist with a good dose of materialistic instinct. As it relates to astrology, Tobey discusses the system of houses and some of the more abstractionist views on which to understand the design of house in the horoscope. I highly recommend any student of Evolutionary Astrology to consider Tobey's in depth discussion on house systems.

I have long suspected the "Midheaven" to be the key to the shift of "living sidereally in a tropical world." Given, Tobey's perspective on the houses, I am more convinced that the Midheaven is the way out of and tool to use in the effective operation within "the Matrix" so to speak.

The "tropical" world (the world at large) and modern astrology is based on the materialistic point of view propagated by Claudius Ptolemy (150 AD). Removing from a system of communication and symbols based on cosmic order, the "signs of our time" were etched in stone or matter. It is that stone tablet that we find our clues and the keys to our freedom, only we need to infuse a bit of abstractionist thinking in this materialistic world, lest we maintain a level of superficiality that quiets the thinker, shackles the creators, and martyrs the saviors.

It was Ptolemy's ideas which were integrated into the Julian and then Gregorian calendars. Having a materialist time sequence that is based on what exists and then its existence rationalized (such as having a leap day every 4 years to "adjust" to the conclusion how dynamic time and space will be at that time), rather than experience what life creates in the moment is unnatural and creates an unnatural state of humanity and cosmic energy.

To understand the "unnatural state of humans," one can look to what the natural state is as described in our important documents like the Declaration of Independence, e.g., that humans are free, are creative beings (liberty), and are here to become happier and happier.

In this the next few years, there will need to be many people highly focused, willing and able to effectively operate in both realms of our reality as we transition to the new reality we are here to create. Life is Baseball, Baseball is Life

The Controversy of Game 5

A boss of mine once told me, "Elaine, all you need to know about life you can learn from baseball." Being a sports agent (and an avid Phillies fan I may add), he may have been right. Of course, I see the magic number 5 there, the number that represents 'change,' 'movement' and elevation as it is the 5th point that creates pyramidal power from the square of 4.

But, honestly, I stopped watching baseball after the last baseball strike. I no longer worked for the sports agent, and well, that strike just kind of left me without the stomach for the other part of the game that most people did not see when they watched the players take the field. The magic of the game I loved since I was a child has been gone for a while now.

I watched a few innings of Game 4 to see if any of the magic was there, and it still wasn't. Baseball has yet to fix what they broke so many years ago. This story about last night's game was profound to me this morning because I just thought ... "how like life this is. Arn was right."

We are so looking forward to the 'what ifs' and the 'what about ...' that we start manipulating and creating a reality that just gets more and more confusing because we are trying to figure out everything that "could" happen rather than being in the moment and dealing what "is" happening.

With the current Saturn-Uranus opposition in the cosmos around us, we are reminded about "pre-emptive" realities. The minute you start plotting or planning what you do based on the 'what ifs' ... ESPECIALLY if those 'what ifs' include other people or authority figures ... STOP! Stop right there in your tracks and ask yourself these questions:

Why am I really making these plans?
What do I really want to achieve?

Likely the answers will stem from energy sourced in the desire for more personal freedom. Freedom that you do not perceive you can have simply by being who you are. Most of us do not feel we have the "right," "permission" or even "worth" to assume our freedom, so we go about taking freedom through maneuvering the circumstances or people in our lives to "find" our freedom. Sometimes we just bail the situation and "start over" new and think we will have our freedom that way. For a time, perhaps ... but if we do not own our freedom for our own sake, we will forever be in the cycle of trying to "create it."

Issues of freedom will recur several times as the Saturn-Uranus opposition will continue through 2010. Its first "direct hit" of opposition happens on our election day. This first initial "hit" will foreshadow the struggle on a national level we will experience over the next couple of years as we discover just how free we are not AND what we are willing to do about it ... individually and as a collective.

How we define freedom for ourselves and how we define it for others will highlight this conflict we experience. As tropically, the planets are posed as follows: Saturn in Virgo, Uranus in Pisces. Using 'sidereal' or actual astrology, Saturn is in Leo, and Uranus in Aquarius. The "push-and-pull" of the Virgo-Pisces will be played out on our television, played out by people who are asleep and still in the collective unconscious living. The "push-and-pull" of the Leo-Aquarius will be the experience of those who are conscious in their lives ... and its to those I am speaking.

The Leo-Aquarius push-and-pull of the Saturn-Uranus opposition polarity is giving you an opportunity to redefine the authority of Saturn based on your own personal authority. In Aquarius, the individual is an equal part of the collective -- the collective is made up of individuals but the collective is NOT more powerful or has more control than the individual. If the individual chooses to be equal to the collective, the power of Aquarius is that the individual and the collective are equal.

This is not SO in Pisces, where the individual is "lost to" or completely immersed in the collective energies -- without the collective, there is no individual. This is where the majority of energy on the world presently is existing and from which disruption will re-occur until the transition to the truth is enlarged for more and more individuals.

Being a conscious person in this time of this opposition, requires the individual standing-up for those who know that Saturn in Leo means, my authority is "the" authority. The way I see things should be "are" the way they are to be for me ... not caring whether they are that way for anyone else, but for me, this is the truth.

Here in America, our founding documents were in alignment with this belief: all beings are created equal. If this is true, then the collective is NOT greater than the individual. It was not a "majority creates the authority" construct our founding organizers manifested, it was an "individual" is equal until and unless that individual impedes on others the same rights they are choosing to assert.

This is the struggle of the individual and our collective at this time. If you understand this, you can be aware when you must take action to stand up for that individual freedom and equality in all areas of your life: at work, at school, in relationships, in the community, on the street, in Washington D.C., at the Hague, before the G8, the WTO and the IMF.

These shall be some interesting years before us, who's ready?

Aries New Moon's White Rabbit Hunt

Today has been a quest to quiet the choir of voices from the day's global news headlines that ringing choruses of 'futility' in my head ... because, everything our past has taught us to do to adjust, fix, correct or change what we are experiencing is, in truth, futile.

Marching and protesting is futile. What worked in the 60's, isn't going to work. There is no "movement"; there are no leaders; there is no organization.

Violence is not an option ... not just because my non-violent principles, but because the powers that be have all the armaments and legalities in place (FEMA camps and all) to deal with anything of that nature.

The direction we are heading is the direction we are going to go. Like it or not, the collapse is upon us; the "New World Order" is in place, and its just a matter of manifesting it in everyone's everyday reality.

Now, I'm not one of those that think the whole "One World" thing is bad or evil. I actually like the thought of eliminating nation-state designations, and just viewing ourselves as "human" or even more cosmic yet, "beings." But this yucky "New World Order" stuff that is based on greed, oppression and human degradation ... I'm not digging that!

Since I did not have any ideas that were not futile, I took off after the white rabbit this morning. The little bugger came into site while I was checking out my bulletins on MySpace this morning: Here he is, the one that enticed me down this hole:

That bulletin was from my MySpace friend, Musicians Say No! to Bush New World Order. I have not been able to find any independent confirmation of the claims and information in this video, but this is the related website.

This next video I received was in a bulletin from my MySpace friend THINK PEACE WORLD ... This is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom ... notice the emphasis he places on "economics" as the definer of power.

OK ... now for some internal bells and whistles to start going off in my head: enter the Security & Prosperity Partnership of North America (aka "SPP"). The SPP is the embryonic version of the American Union. Check out the website. Earlier this year, nothing before 2006 was on the website. Now there's all kinds of information ... even "facts" to dispell the "myths"! Now you too can start to see how this "New World Order" is coming into being for us here in North America. Lou Dobbs talked about it a few years ago in this news clip:

So, you don't think its happening. Really? The briefings and materials from the 22 April 2008 SPP leader summit indicate that the Partnership is on track for their initiatives to be in full effect by 2010. (Please take note of the 22 April date ... it connects to a future dot.)

Then, a tangential tea party in this headline: "Morgan Stanley gets lifeline, is ready for deals." And why would Mitsubishi invest in Morgan Stanley? To capitalize on the fire-sale of other US banks and financial institutions, of course. The Japanese have recent experience in how to navigate and capitalize on this situation: remember the early 1990's in Japan? This is another interesting NY Times article I read ... the year of this article was written: 2005.

OK, now for the astrological part of the chase ... time to try those mushrooms!

From the earth's perspective, the Moon and Neptune were conjunct ... how appropriate for this type of 'love in'! And, NO! the symbolism that it was Germany is not to be overlooked.

And then, what happened? Russia and China finalize a border treaty ... "Correspondents say the deal is the latest sign of warmer ties developing between Russia - a big energy exporter - and China, a big energy consumer." Again, the theme of economic power is everywhere.

From the 7/21/08 White House briefing: "Also today, a U.S. delegation led by the U.S. Trade Representative, Susan Schwab, is meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, along with other major trading nations at a ministerial level meeting in an effort to make progress in the Doha round of global trade negotiations. As you heard President Bush emphasize at the recent G8 meetings, it is critically important that we conclude the Doha round. We want the world to trade freely and we want to make sure markets are open for American agricultural goods, manufacturing goods and also the services that we can provide." (Check out her name: "Schwab"!)

So, that was the view from the Sun, the center of our solar system, our next "bigger picture" perspective as Pluto moved into Capricorn (based on the tropical zodiac on which foundation our entire time sequence is presently based).

But, what about the smaller picture, the more intimate, earth-based view? From our view, Pluto entered Capricorn back in January, went retrograde and has slipped back into Sagittarius for a bit, and will enter Capricorn on 26 November, 2008 (after keying in on the chart for Washington D.C., Pluto will hit 0ºCap.0'00 just after 8:00 p.m.).

Then I searched for connections, and this where all this came together for me.

This is a mid-point chart is a combination of two times that seemingly do not have a relevant connection. One time being the day Pluto moves into Capricorn (26 Nov. 2k8), and the other time is 22 April 1864, the date that the Civil War Congress passed the "Coin Act of 1864." (Please take note of the 22 April date. Here's the other dot.)

This act was the first time "In God We Trust" was introduced on our money. Things that make you go "hmmmm": If you read the history in the link above, you will notice that the acting Secretary of the Treasury in 1864 was Salmon P. Chase.

Yes, I know this is not her time because we are not ready for that kind of change, but at least I am, so I will vote for her. Maybe you are too!

Living In Transit ...

Transits are wonderful tools to use, either in planning or in retrospection. In planning, you can gauge the focus of the energy reflected in your chart on any particular day as it relates to you. Of course, you have the "x" factor of how the rest of the world is flowing in reaction or response to your energy, but, at least you can go forward with a certain level of awareness of how you are naturally working on a given day.

The more you study your transits in retrospection, the more you can understand them in present time or in prospecting your activities.

One thing I have noticed is the "whammie" transit. The transit over a planet involved in a quincunx or the "inconjunct". I have written quite a bit about that aspect, as it has proven to me to be one of the most powerful aspects to use in the "awakening" process. A transit over any natal or progressed quincunx of two planets produces a major "A Ha!" moment in almost the life of every person's chart I've worked with, including my own.

Imagine, if you will, a planet such as Mercury (or a stellium like our recent Mars/Mercury/Venus conjunction) being the catalyst to bring two energies within you together who know nothing about how to relate to one another ... scary? or exciting?

Recently, I had that stellium (Mercury/Mars/Venus) hit my Mercury-Moon quincunx. Giving a voice to the mom is how it was realized in my life. What I wasn't prepared for was the fall-out from the universe from the integration of those energies in my life. Giving a true voice to the mom, a wholistic mom, was not something the structures that existed around me were prepared to hear, and they silenced it very dramatically.

The recovery from a transit of the planets involved in a quincunx takes time and patience, let the energies represented by the two planets get to know each other in this new light. Understand it will be a process, and allow yourself to naturally go through the process and give it a bit more patience than you normally would for integration of other, more straightforward transits like squares, oppositions, trines, sextiles, etc. Because if a quincunx is anything, it is not as it first appears.

If its a fast moving transit like the personal planets it is a relatively short period of time before you can realize the full integration of the initial experience. As when the transiting planet hits the other planet in the quincunx, and then you will have the "full experience" of the integration of those two planets as introduced (or triggered) by the transiting energy.

If you have a quincunx in your natal chart or are working with one presently (as reflected in the progressed chart), realize that you cannot fear your own personal integration, your own wholeness. Be ready for and conscious of the transits over the quincunx whammie. And, if you have a "yod" or "finger of God" which is created by two quincunxes with a single planet foci, the transits also include the opposition to the foci planet.

The opportunities that get presented to you during those transits are life changing in the increase of your wholeness and integration. These transits are so important now as we individually and collectively work at becoming more aware, more awake, more conscious. As we as individuals become more, so too does our collective consciousness.

The quincunx aspect has similar energy to Uranus, it is sharp, drastic, surprising, sometimes upsetting, and very rarely is it subtle. A quincunx can be a source of a "blind spot" in your personality or ego, but it can also be the source of your greatest, deepest and most complete understanding of your way of being.

The Deep Shi(f)t

living in midst of it, you sometimes forget the basics.

you find yourself wondering, "just how deep is it going to get?"

well, i take a bit of comfort understanding that pluto has eclipsed the galactic center and we are on a cycle for another 200+ years to our next realignment with our next largest cosmic marker. so, we have already experienced the deep shi(f)t.

that doesn't mean its not going to get uglier ... after all, the last time we experienced this deep alignment was in the late 1770s. here in america, there was a really nasty war or two after that happened, and almost 100 years later, we collapsed ourselves from within through one of the greatest deceptions of political history (e.g., the dissolution of the republic, creation of the new corporate america embattled in our "civil" war).

have you read "the shock doctrine" by naomi klein? i suggest that every person who is interested in the form and structure of our new reality that is being created as we read these words, read that book. to understand how this new structure is establishing itself, what it is sacrificing and what its potential is for creating the reality that we want.

oh, yes, while we are in the deep shi(f)t, you may want to remember, its our shi(f)t, and we can control how it smells and what it contains.

time sequencing

every four years we have (in this 12:60 ratio based time sequence aka calendar system) a 'leap day' ... a day that is supposed to realign us with the cosmos as best it can, but in reality and truth, it fails miserably to do that.

the problem is, that "failure" is calculated and those that know how to manipulate energy use it to their pleasure and whim ... or is it just a coincidence of our collective consciousness/unconsciousness that is merely rhythmically and naturally aligned with the sequence.

i have to believe its the former, despite my rose colored glasses wanting so much the latter to be our reality. the 5 is just so integrated into the structure that controls time/prevailing energy today, its too perfect in the coincidences that the odds of all those things happening randomly just is unfathomable ... perhaps not impossible, just not reasonably logical.

so as i work through these ratios and find their relationship with one another and my reality ... i'm taken back once again to that chakana ... there lies the answer to the mystery yet to be revealed.

the big "4-O"

perhaps the coolest thing about a basic (or deep) understanding of astrology, is the ability to prepare for what's coming in life. because truth be told, we all experience the same energy, albeit manifests differently and uniquely for each of us. but, we have learned, thanks to things like game theory and quantum physics, that perhaps all things in life can reduced down to a mathematical equation.

so, knowing that, i play the numbers; i use the equations ... i learn by looking at the answer in the back of the book and let the equation work itself out to the desired result. energy and vibrations, as reflected in the symbols of astrology and numerology, are the symbols of my equations. in the lives of an individual, the "answer" is as varied as that which you can visualize as *your* reality or *your* desired result ... e.g., the answer to the question, "what do i want?"

"the mid-life crisis," as it has been called, is the time in life we all experience when the planet uranus opposes the position it took in the sky the morning you were born. uranus represents the "kapow" energy that was infused from the cosmos into the linear time existence of this solar system the moment you came into being.

uranus' transitional opposition is the next most powerful infusion of energy most human beings experience. so crisis? yes, it can be. if your life is not what you want, a crisis exists. the uranus opposition reminds us, through its reflecting of its original energy imprint, what our life is supposed to be.

uranus has little need to be nice about it either. it is pretty black and white, yes and no, but, most of all, it is in your face. uranus demands immediate results. uranus was, after all, the sky god -- everything that was beyond earth is in his realm. he was the power until, of course, gaia or earth, demanded equality. (a mighty planet against the entire cosmos!) the crisis existed because he had to have it his way and everyone else, including gaia, had to comply or there was hell to prove his control ... that is, until she (with their son's help) graciously freed him to be free of his need to control the earth.

this mid-life crisis, if it is that for you, exists because of the need to control the external. in the flow of life, if you are just living your life, the earth (or external) goes on about its way of making life happen for you. the deeper you are connected to your life, your true purpose, and the deeper you can live that life, the more the external things just happen. there is no need to lie, there is no hell to pay, there is no struggle ... life just happens if you give your life the liberty to pursue your happiness. sound familiar, perhaps our forefathers had it right after all.

life is embodied in your purpose and the living of that purpose on planet earth. if you are not doing that, there is a piece of you so deep that is not living. it can be buried in the death of the mundane obligations that so many put before the actual purpose of one's life. which leads us to ... "life without liberty is like a body without spirit" (kahlil gilbran).

liberty is the freedom to be; the freedom to expose that purpose and live your life the way you need to live in order to maximize your life in the universe. "liberty is the power that we have over ourselves" (hugo grotius). to the extent we give away our power to others to control ourselves, is to the extent we relinquish our liberty to live our own lives. the compromise of liberty in relationships is a constant flow of balance and communication so that the life your pursuing may bring you happiness. this is where the force of the uranus opposition strikes the hardest, and the houses of uranus' natal and transitional domicile reveal the areas in life where the force is felt.

the pursuit of "happiness" is what creates our path in life. there are many ways to craft a life of pursuing happiness. heck, there's even a book entitled "the pursuit of happiness." i'm a simple girl, so i just use the pleasure principle: if it feels good, do it. sometimes what is supposed to be a pleasure doesn't feel good, or it feels weird, or it feels forced, or it merely feels not right.

"so," you ask, "how do i use this energy?" after all, this feeling, this energy, this time has been given to you to use ... or not. there are so many stories of success coming out of the uranus opposition ... the "titanic" movie gets made. and there are so many stories of upheaval and disruption ... the divorces, the new careers, the deaths. recrafting your life with the energy leads to some amazing success stories of life shifts. ignoring it will allow the energy to do its thing resulting in a life that is going to prove to you that you were actually here to live your life and not someone else's. if you don't use the energy, the world around you will shift and expose you to the life you were here to live, and give you choice after choice after choice to make (or not), to be free or not.

choice is the breath of life, remember to breathe.

if you are in crisis, it is a time for you to step-up, this is your life.

rest in peace dorothy. my eldest sister chose to die this week or else someone made the choice for her. i don't know which it is, but it is what it is. and it is all good. her life on earth was as tragic as it was beautiful ... as all good dramas in life usually are. she always wanted a "general hospital" life, and she lived it.

i am thankful for my family and friends.

Unlimited Vision
Everything Is In Divine Order

We can only see so much from where we sit in our particular bodies, in the midst of our particular lives, rooted as we are in the continuum of space and time. The divine, on the other hand, is not limited to the constructs of either space or time, and its wisdom and workings often elude us as we try to make sense of what is happening in our lives. This is why things are not always what they seem to be and even the best-laid plans are sometimes overturned. Even when we feel we have been guided by our intuition every step of the way, we may find ourselves facing unexpected loss and disappointment. At times like these, we can find some solace in trusting that no matter how bad or just plain inexplicable things look from our perspective, they are, in fact, in divine order.

Even as we take our places in this earthly realm, a part of us remains completely free of the confines we face here. Regardless of what is happening in our lives, this part of us remains infused with joy and gratitude, connected to the unbroken source from which we come. Our small self, on the other hand, who is caught up in our false identity as a being limited in space and time, regards happiness as the result of things going the way it wants them to go. It is this part of us that suffers the greatest confusion and upset when the logic of events does not compute. And it is to this self that we must extend unconditional love, forgiveness, and compassion. In order to do this, we tap into our inner divinity, holding the space of a tender authority, extending love and light to our ego as a mother extends her love to a troubled child.

There are many ways to access our inner divinity—meditation, prayer, chanting, channeling, and conscious breathing, to name a few. It is helpful to develop a regular practice that provides us access to this all-powerful, healing presence, as it can be difficult to reach once we are in a stressful position, if we have not already established a connection. The more connected we are with this part of ourselves, the more we share its unlimited vision and the secure, knowing that all the things of our life, no matter how they appear, are in a state of divine and perfect order.

Mars Retrograde or "Waiting on the World to Change"

An impasse is a "position from which there is no escape" or a "deadlock." An impasse happens when there is no resolution and you are left with a "take it" option only. "Leave it" is not even an option. Impasses quite frequently happen with authority figures in one's life.

How do you identify when you are at an impasse?
Why are they there?
Why do we create impasses?

You will recognize an impasse when you realize you have to "deal with" an otherwise unacceptable situation. You believe one thing, the other person believes another thing. You cannot reach a resolution or mediation of those two things to find something mutually acceptable; one of you have an arbitrary authority over the other. Arbitrary authority is not actual authority, but authority that is based on something external (e.g., a position, a rank, a law, a standing). Hence, because "the regulations say I'm the decider, my way is THE way."

I believe impasses are created in your life to build-up energy and to help you make a choice only you can make. The time of the impasse is best used sourcing the energy that is building up within you. Individuals create many things, and impasses in life build up what you need to be doing most. The deeper your connection to the source of the energy -- which can be evidenced in feelings of frustration, anger, aggressiveness, misery, depression, helplessness -- the more effectively you can use the energy that is built-up during an impasse.

Why we create impasses is probably as individual as each of are, but in general, I believe we are given impasses to really focus our intention and life AND to make a choice to either do it or not. After all, when you are sitting at a dead end, no resolution can be found, and your choices to this point cannot be furthered, you are forced to face the question, "can I accept what is?"

There is only two answers to that question, both of which will lead you out of the impasse. And, sure, you can choose not to answer that question, but that choice would be a choice to stay in "The Waiting Place" and locked in the impasse.

"Yes, I can accept what is." This requires a release and deep acceptance to what is as being the highest for your life. I accept that this is my path and now I will continue down it. You may find that which you were "fighting for" wasn't really that important to you. So, the question, "why was I fighting?" is the question to contemplate as you step from the impasse to find a deeper understanding of your motivation and intentions in life.

"No, this is not acceptable." This requires an evolution of perception of the situation, and requires a plan of action to supplant the arbitrary authority with a true authority. Often, impasses that are found to be unacceptable, reveal that you were not dealing with the problem on the proper level. This is often when "up the chain of command" action is required, until you are able to find resolution. This is also when you will often have to go it alone.

Mars turns retrograde on 15 November 2K7 and will be retrograde until the end of January 2K8. Mars is the planet that represents action and only goes retrograde approximately once every 2.5 years (compared to Mercury that goes retrograde 3 times a year), so when Mars goes retrograde, impasses abound in many areas of life, especially the areas affected by Mars' natal house placement and the houses Mars happens to be transiting through its retrograde cycle.

During Mars retrograde you can expect to be a time when people come to a place where they are no longer willing to "budge" and resolution may be hard to find, often relying on arbitrary authority to bring about a "winner" in conflicts. Be reflective during this time, ask yourself the question, "is this acceptable?" Really contemplate the issue looking at it from as many levels as you can see the situation. Next, contemplate the question "why?" to your answer to the first question. If you spend the time to go through this process, you will come out of the Mars retrograde with such clarity and a whole lot of energy to imprint your "I am" on our universe.

This 2K7-2K8 Mars retrograde will play with the energies of Taurus, Gemini and Cancer. For most, your external experiences and those of the collective prevailing energy, will reflect Mars as it turns retrograde in the sign of Cancer, retreats back to Gemini before moving forward and finally progressing once again through Cancer. For those who are personally conscious of your internal processes and for the areas of your life where you are independent of the prevailing energy, the constellations that Mars is actually going to be playing with during this retrograde process, are Gemini and Taurus.

This will be a time to address issues of the collective family ... "what are family values?" is a question that can be raised at this time for a deeper discussion from a collective stand point. I know that most of us are SICK TO DEATH of that phrase "family values," and what have been defined as such. Well, this is a great opportunity to take back and redefine "family values" for ourselves and infuse the collective conscious and unconsciousness with our personal truth of what are "family values."

For those who are here to assist the transition, must realize that we have the responsibility to start the dialog at this time. Mars is actually in Gemini, and for those who are trying to create reality, communication and expression is where our action must be. When Mars moves back into Taurus, we then assert a fixed connection to the earth and hold tight to the truth of the "family of humanity." Consciously rooting our personal values deep in the sign of Taurus for those who we are able to engage in the dialog (as the prevailing energy operates the energy of the twins, giving "two points of view" for those living in the tropical world of Mars in Gemini), can help those still engulfed in the prevailing energy system to more fully realize the "family of humanity" when Mars moves forward again next January and re-enters Cancer (tropically) once again.

This period from 15 November - 30 January is a great time for teaching on true "motherhood," and that true family has space for all the individual parts to contribute equally in their own unique ways.

turning on consciousness

yes, you can turn it on and off at will.

every moment is a choice to be or not to be conscious.

how do you know if you are slipping from consciousness to unconscious habitual or programmed behaviour?

your emotions.

your emotions are your key to knowing and understanding your unconsciousness. why do you think the moon, that reflective heavenly body, is ascribed with the realms of emotions, spirit and the subconscious? it is our bridge, it is our hope, it is our light in the darkness of our unconscious.

as we move knowledge into the light of consciousness from the realm of the subconscious, that which is unconscious moves into the realms of subconscious or even fully into the light of consciousness.

the movement away from the lunar cycle, is a movement away from consciousness. you would think that focusing on the solar cycle would be a focus on consciousness, but in fact it is not. it is a focus on what appears to be conscious. the gregorian calendar and the astrology based on ptolemy's zodiac, is solar in its nature. it is through this orientation that this present world of illusion has been crafted. unless and until one chooses to see reality for its truth, consciousness will remain static and limited in its growth potential, with the majority of its power resting in a potential only state.

relying solely on one notion of truth ties the paths of consciousness we may walk. it is through exploration and curiosity and intuition where we find the truth that unlocks for the one, and hence for all, conscious power to assume an active state.
