Introducing Bakersfield Eddie

Bakersfield Eddie is a new Americana group featuring members: Matt Vucic, Ryan Hahn, Mandy Oldham, and Kelsey Raundensky. With strong songwriting and rich harmonies, the group brings to mind the likes of The Lumineers and The Civil Wars.

Please have a look at a couple of clips of their debut performance below. Featuring “Mahogany Women” and a brand new tune “The Lotus Sea.”

Seems Philly got something going on...

I had the opportunity to speak on a music publishing panel this past weekend for the 1st Annual Liberty Music Festival at the Legendary Dobbs tucked in the middle of South st. Philadelphia PA.

Man I am getting grey. Anyway, this ended up being a great opportunity to spread the word about the new music business model, the importance of licensing, and songwriting. Thanks much to Paula Savastano, Jim Thorpe, and Dobbs for the opportunity. There is defiantly a buzz around this place.

The talented Canadian singer/songwriter Alexy has signed with Even Tone Music.

Alexy is an indie-rock act from Ottawa, infusing infectious pop hooks with rock, hip hop, and funk elements, as well as a growing set of theatrical live aspects full of colourful melodies and powerful harmonies. You can read a full bio HERE.

All songs will be categorized to make it easy to find what you are looking for. Included in the catalog is Matt’s 2005 release “The Bull And I” which is also available for purchase here
