Paisley and Presely have LOVED everything about their first year of preschool. They ask everyday if they are going to preschool, and have had such a great year so far. Their Christmas program was at a local senior citizen home, and the girls couldn't wait to sing their songs.

We love Holidays at our house, and Halloween is no exception, we took full advantage of the unusually warmer weather, and spent time enjoying gardners village, pumpkin patches and even Frightmares. Happy Halloween!

Mini Madonelles

The girls decided they wanted to try out dance. We started with the Bountiful high mini madonelles camp. I was super impressed with the girls attention span and at how well they did. They now have started dancing at dance impressions and are loving every second of it!

Soccer Boy!

This past year Cole played soccer for the first time. After the first game we all figured out quickly that Cole had it down. He scored 10 goals the first game and starting the second game had to sit back by his net while the other team kicked off for 15 seconds until he could go and get the ball. Cole is really athletic and so fun to watch play. We can't wait for all the sporting events that we will watch him play growing up. We love you buddy

Twins First Day of Preschool

I can't even begin to explain how excited these little girls were to start preschool. They LOVE Mrs Stacy and ask if it is preschool day every day. It is crazy to just have me and Cruz for 2 days a week for 2 hours.

Before the twins birthday, Cole wanted to pick out a birthday present for them. Just him and I went to Toys R Us and he couldn't wait to give them their scooters. The twins also got their very first American Girl Dolls that look just like each of them, and requested a princess bounce house in our backyard. I can't believe my twins are already 3!

I had to take some time and tell you about a boutique that I just found out about. Modern Vintage Boutique, is one of the most stylish, and affordable boutiques that I have found out there. I walked into her show room and immediately fell in love with this dress, and about everything else she had in there. NOT only does Danielle (the owner) have extremely good taste, she is one of the sweetest girls I know. I am pretty sure all of my future outfit posts will have at least one thing from modern vintage boutique.

Feeding The Ducks

We all living in such a beautiful place. We love to go up to sugarhouse park and have a picnic and feed the ducks.

Cole had fell at the park the day before, and you would literally think his leg was close to getting amputated. Girls are way tougher than boys :)

Presley is the one that just cracks us up. She loves to feed them but doesn't want them close to her.

Paisley is really not scared of anything. She was eating her nugget and holding a peice of bread, until one of the dang birds came and.....

She still talks about this on a weekly basis. Poor little girl. On a side note: when one twin is sad or crying you won't have to ever look for the other twin, they are right there making sure their other half is okay. Truly melts my heart.

Buried Alive

Have you ever seen Hoarding, buried alive? Sometimes Dave and I will watch it, if there is nothing else on at night, but for most of the episodes I sit in disbelief, wanting to change the channel, but I don't change it because I can't bring myself to do it!

We often joke about how we call Paisley a hoarder, but the other day Dave told me to come downstairs and to bring my camera to see what Paisley had been working on while he was playing with the kids.

She stepped it up and brought her crib to a "buried alive" status. I couldn't even believe it. And the craziest thing about this all? Is Paisley truly has a little OCD like her mom about being clean and putting things away. So where did this "hoarding" problem come from?

Were not sure, but one thing for sure is were going to have to keep a close eye on her ;)

4th of July

We started the fourth with a parade in our hometown. Our kids absolutely loved everything about the parade.

We then went swimming up at Oakridge. Sorry no pictures, it is so hard to watch all the kids at the pool, therefore pictures are the last thing on my mind (dave was golfing). We went home and napped the kids and then got ready for Oakridge Fireworks.

Welcome Tatertots and Jello fans. I am so excited to be hosting a giveaway today on Jen's fabulous blog. Here is a little bit about me and my life:

I am Danielle, 25, a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a mother to 4 babes. We adopted Cole when he was just 9 days old he was born on November 5, 2008, and two months later found out I was pregnant with twins. Presley Danielle and Paisley Ann were born September 29, 2009. After thinking we could adjust to our new life of having 3 kids under 1, we had another surprise and found out I was pregnant when my girls were just 11 months old we were expecting our 4th. Cruz John was born March 9, 2011. With 4 kids 28 months and younger you could say our life is completely chaotic but it is what I would call "Imperfectly Perfect"

{summer summer}

We have been so busy this summer so far i donT even know where to begin! We have spent soo many hours at the pool and quite a bit of time at lagoon. We got season passports and it is wonderful. We go for an hour or two and then once the kids are done or it gets busy we are out of there. Here is just some pictures of our summer thus far. I have so many blog posts coming up once my life settles down a bit! Between four little kids and my orders of necklaces we are staying busy!

{Playschool Program}

Last week Cole had his preschool program. Although at our house it is called "playschool". He loved going and it was really good for him. Cole was not "officially" old enough to attend preschool, but after a child dropped out, Cole was able to go and was the youngest in the school by quite a ways. He did great. You can tell he is younger, but Cole is so smart that he was right up to level with the rest of the kids.

The twins were so excited to go see Cole at his performance. Although I think they were hoping it was more or less a dance recital. They were so proud the entire time.

Cole and his cousin Ty. They had such a good time together, and i truly think this made the difference for Cole. Before Cole started going to preschool he never wanted to be out of my site, but since preschool he really doesn't mind and has done amazing. ( He still loves his mama and still is a home body)

Dave and I are sure in for a treat with this little guy. About a couple minutes into the program, we shortly realized we have quite the class clown on our hands. He cannot sit still, and has constantly something on his mind he wants to share with the class. He had the entire crowd cracking up and he couldn't have been more proud. Cole apparently was quite hungry? and kept telling me, "mom, I am really hungry."

You can tell he is the class clown right? That is just Cole's personality he is super outgoing and loves to make people laugh. I feel as though we are getting paid back for Dave's behavior in his early years, o heaven help me. (let's hope the rest take after their mom)

You know just being cool.

Cole we are so proud of you and although at times you are quite the clown, we wouldn't have it any other way. You are the smartest, sweetest, and most lovable 3 year old out there. We are so lucky to have you as our son. Only 2 more years of playschool bud! ;)

{Tubes}

This past Tuesday, we set off to Primary Childrens to get Cruz tubes in his ears. Cruz has had about 8 or 9 ear aches, and when he gets them, he is not the same kid. Pulls on his ears, constatn tylonel, and just not a happy boy. After meeting with Dr. Kelley we decided this was the best option for our little buddy.

Dr. Kelley does his surgeries up at Primary Childrens, and I am so thankful for that. When we got there early in the morning, they completely cater to the kids. They trest them like little kings.

Cruz's nurse who would be with him the whole time came to talk to me before, as well as Dr. Kelley, and the aneseisologists. His nurse asked me what Cruz's favorite song was and if he liked to be tickled. This made me so happy that if I wasn't able to be with him at least someone cared enough to try to keep him happy and felt like someone knew him. She told me that while the gas would be blowing in Cruz's face for the anesthetic, she would sing the wheels on the bus, and tickle his arms.

The surgery was only about 10 minutes long and he did great.

I was warned that the anethetic makes the child wake up really angry and not the same person. But when they came back to get me to see Cruz, he was sitting up having the nurse feed him a bottle. She said when he woke up he simply sat up and waved the nurse to come over. She came over and he leaned his little head onto her chest and she fed him a bottle. The anestheologist told me that maybe only 1 out of 150 kids wake up not yelling and angry. This totally fits Cruz's personality.

My sweet little buddy. Just cuddling up to me. By that night Cruz was doing fine. He was still a little tired, and groggy but overall very pleasant. I am already so happy we had the surgery, I can't even remember the last time he touched his ears, which is a huge deal.

{Viva Vegas}

This past weekend, Dave and I were able to get away for 4 days all by ourselves to celebrate our 5 year and my birthday. We left Thursday and got in to Las Vegas and then went to dinner with my sister and fiance, who are going to be living there after they get married in June. We ate and did lots of shopping at the Forum Shops:

We finished the night walking along the strip and enjoying the warm night.

We stayed at the newly redecorate Mirage and loved it. We usually stay at Caesars but because the Billboard Music Awards were on Sunday, everything was super busy. And i LOVE LOVE the Mirage pool.

We even got upgraded to a suite at the Mirage because it was our 5 year and my birthday. The suite was amazing and we even had our own elevator that we shared with only one other level. It was heavenly.
We visited the outlets down by the stratosphere, but we prefer the Primm outlets much more. They are way nicer with more stores. We continued to shop much to Dave's dismay as well. That night we ate dinner at Cabo Wabo. Yummy Mexican food, but not much a place to take kids, it was so nice to be able to sit and talk and enjoy a meal together just the two of us.

The location is fabulous right in front of the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and literally right on the strip. We decided not to do a show this night but now we wish we would have. But it was wonderful to relax as well.
The next day was spent once again shopping, this time along the strip and at the Fashion Show Mall. That night Dave needed to go to a buffet so we hit up M buffet. Not so great, the Aria is much better. Then we went to get this:

It is one of the highest rated show on the strip but to be honest I was really concerned. But Dave and I laughed for the entire 1 1/2 hours the show was on. he was HILARIOUS! A bit crude, but overall a really great show. We got home yesterday and after a much needed vacation we could not wait to get back to our little ones! Hope everyone had a great weekend
