For some reason, this book's been popping up from time to time in my Amazon.com Associate's banner -- the image of which has caused me to pop up! Sexy, sensual, suductive... tasteful.

Herb Trimpe's cover work for Marvel varied wildly, even by the rough standards established by second-generation Marvel artist covers. ... As I recall at the time of that HULK cover Marie Severin was designing a great many of the Marvel covers. In fact, since (a) she'd been pencilling the HULK comic for several issues before that and had just passed the torch onto Trimpe, (b) it was inked by her brother and (c) as you say, it's completely atypical for Trimpe, I would put my money on her.
