And I am back! :)

It’s been 1 year 7 months since I vanished into the wilderness.

In that time… I got married to my Bunny twice – once in Sydney and again in Singapore, bought a house to live in, and an apartment as an investment. Settled into my new job, adopted a 10 year old senior little girl doggie from a shelter, and went on a honeymoon to London and Paris. Bunny decided to start his car collection with a limited edition Mazda RX7 Spirit R Type A.

But one thing that was a constant – besides my love of Bunny and animals, was my love of shopping. I have indulged so much in this time, and it doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon.

So if you lovelies let me slowly get back in the groove of posting entries again, I hope to resurrect this beautiful friend of mine, my blog.

Shopping Seven

So I wanted to do an outfit post this week, but Bunny and myself managed to run all our errands during the week, which means Saturday became sleep-in movie day. :) We watched Tower Heist and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Hehe, what a lovely weekend to round off my first week at my new job!

My new role is situated two stations away from the Sydney CBD, and that puts me in close proximity to the shops. Delighted me has thus welcomed two new additions to my shoe-robe - the Christian Louboutin Pigalle Jazz 100 in Nude and the Christian Louboutin Pigalle Plato 120 in Black Patent. Joy is me, because my size usually sells out immediately but this time both the Christian Louboutin boutique and David Jones decided to look favourably on me.

It's tough looking for stilettos, as I am really particular about the width of the heel, the essential 4 inch height to walk on, and the look of the toe box. Christian Louboutin is really hard to beat in that area, for me.

Moving on from my shoe ramblings, I have resumed packing the house this week. It's such a joy to be throwing out unwanted items and seeing the house become more spacious by just that tiny bit. I definitely inherited this obsessive, compulsive need to be tidy from my mom. Missing my dear parents lots, but I will be seeing them in two months when they come visit!

My travel this year, besides Melbourne back in January, only involves Singapore for now. September for the weddings of two of my dear friends and their partners, and November for my own. I think there should be more leave days in a year, just like we should only be required to work four days a week, and have three days for rest and relaxation! ;)

Hello, Again.

Wow, it’s been almost 3 months since I last blogged. Terrible time management on my part, obviously! :( Hopefully that super cute photo of Lulu helps to garner me some good will.

In January, I flew to picturesque Melbourne and watched several Australian Open matches with Bunny, and four of my lovely friends. It was a great trip. Relaxing, and revitalising. Shopping, eating, laughing and sloth-ing for one whole week. I loved it.

After that break, I snapped straight into Active Addie mode. On my plate at the moment is a wedding to plan, a new job to start, and hopefully a house to buy as well? I have sorely neglected my little stores - Ditzy Granny Vintage, Frim & Fram, eBay, and I must attempt to make up for lost time!

Despite so much going on, as you lovelies know, I always find time for shopping! I have been keenly growing my Hermes addiction. So much so that I am now officially waiting on my first birkin, a pink one no less! ♥♥

My wardrobe has blossomed so much these past months that I now have two new clothes racks and several accessory holders installed in my humble abode. Alannah Hill, Review, Zara, Topshop, Salvatore Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton and of course Hermes, to name a few, have been top of my buying list.

It is of course no wonder that my own wedding planning has only extended to the fashion side of things as well! My favourite wedding is hands down Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden’s. Her Marchesa gown was ethereal, and they looked so gorgeous together. So many years on, and I still think it was the most beautiful celebrity wedding ever.

Bunny has already bought a preppy blue Prada suit + shirt ensemble for the solemnisation. Me thinks I might just wing it in an Alannah Hill dress that I will accessorise up. For the dinner reception, I am currently deliberating between Oscar de la Renta and Marchesa for my gown and I have my eyes on a pair of Valentino heels to match. Bunny would of course suit up in Tom Ford.

The venue has been my biggest headache so far, the date we have chosen is far too popular and completely booked out so I might just do a Carrie Bradshaw - a quiet Town Hall solemnisation in Sydney. Followed by an intimate dinner for 200 in Singapore a month later.

I have about 40+ comments to reply to now, so gonna scuttle to do that now. Much love to anyone still reading my little site in cyberspace.

Hello My Lovelies!!

I trust you have been having the most fabulous of Christmas holidays, and are now getting ready for your New Year parties?

I have been having the most decadent lazy days, hanging out with Bunny and Lulu in my daggy house clothes; meeting up with friends for meals and ambling about the shops when I finally dredge up some energy. It's been a very wonderful few days... I feel slightly better rested, and in a better frame of mind for 2012. :)

Since I have been a very sloth-y kind of person, my outfit for this post is pretty pared down from my usual concoctions. A summery ensemble suitable for a languid day in the city poking about the shops, and then eating takeaway in Bunny's office while he checks the stock market and goes through the trades of the last few days.

I adore my shirt, I love prints and the little boats are just perfect! Equipment shirts really do have a very nice fit, and they have now changed me into a shirt loving convert.

BUT... I have decided I must tone down my mad shopping ways starting next year. Having about 50 new unworn items of clothing and half of my closet in storage containers in my tiny townhouse does not make me a happy camper. However that being said, I am currently eying a custom order Louis Vuitton Pochette that used to retail for a cool 24 grand. My heart says yes but my brain says no, you must save for a Hermes Birkin. Hmmm...

As I near the crazy age of the big 3-0, I feel my metabolism slowing down rapidly. Me thinks it's time to start exercising after 10 years of not doing anything more strenuous than running from shop to shop in an effort to hit all my favourite labels before they close. I asked Bunny to coach me in the ways of tennis seeing as he used to be part of our college's tennis school team, but he adamantly refused (that rude man). Reasons being my extreme lack of coordination and my stamina of a snail. Boooo...

Note Three

Bondi Beach, Sydney

Life has been really busy lately, and I have missed my blog so very very much. With 2011 drawing to a close, and growing yet another year older, I have had a lot on my mind.

Work currently takes up a lot of energy, both physically and mentally, and I sometimes find myself struggling to smile. But once I drag my weary body home, and see Bunny and Lulu, I find some of the weight lift off, and the love and laughter I encounter at home recharges me for yet another day.

Parties and events seem to accumulate in the last quarter of this year, and despite being rather socialable, the small talk seems to take so much from me. I guess I am really missing my quiet time. :|

Hehe, and I know I sound really gloomy, but I really am still the same Happy Addie, just a bit more bedragged and crumpled around the edges. I am looking forward to my silver lining - my company's upcoming Christmas shutdown. 10 days to do with as I'd like is a real luxury to me. :)

I have always been a huge fan of Moschino. They have the quirkiest collections and I often find myself buying accessories, sandals and clothes from their boutiques. I must have either left most of my Moschino items in Singapore or they are doing a real good job of hiding away from me in my wardrobe here... because I can't seem to find any of them to incorporate into my outfits!

Hehe that being said, I have missed wearing Rossella Jardini's inspired creations so hastily bought this tee the other day. It makes me so happy wearing beautiful things. :)

Bunny and myself met some friends for dim sum near our abode last Saturday, and it was such a lively and amusing lunch. And despite being Asian, my non-Asian friends seem to know better places to find a good bargain than me!

I didn't manage to do my weekly shopping pilgrimage to the city, because Bunny wanted to test drive the BMW 3 series run out model. The outside is surely impressive, but the interior is lacking a little from what I'd expect of a luxury car. Awesome salesperson though, very informative and non-pushy. Looking forward to seeing the new BMW 3 series come February next year when it launches here.

I remember it was scorching hot last week when I pulled this simple outfit out of my wardrobe and decided it was passably suitable for a day out meeting friends and shopping in the city.

Bunny and myself caught up with Jess and Tony, Jean and Sandor for lunch - and it was so mega awesome because I haven't seen my dearies in ages!! Even now a week later, looking back on our meet-up just makes me feel so uber happy. Friends really make my little world spin round. :)

Now that Spring/Summer has come to Sydney, I am feeling the need to adorn my wrists with bracelets and bangles!! I adore buying accessories, and lately I have been feeling some strong Hermes love. I have since made it my mission to stalk the store here for some Clic Clac bracelets, Cage d'H earrings and necklaces, a Constance belt for work and maybe even a Birkin?! Haha... me thinks I need to start saving my pennies. ;D

Other than expending my energy on shopping, I have also booked tickets to Melbourne to catch the Australian Open next year! Was a bit miffed when I found out the seats were not free seating or I would have booked our tickets when they were first released! Oh well, it's the company that matters and I am sure my group of good friends, Bunny and myself would have great fun!

Gosh, I felt so bad all of last week. I let my mad cleaning/pack the house antics out of the closet on Sunday and time just slipped away from me. My poor time management sadly resulted in a lack of a blog post. ;(

I did however take outfit shots last Saturday when Bunny and me attended our friends' engagement lunch over at Hotel Intercontinental.

Bunny wore his new gift from me - The Muppets X Opening Ceremony Animal Stripe Dress Shirt and looked so spiffy. Hehe I love that collection so much I also got him the Gonzo version. ♥

When Bunny flew to Hong Kong last month, he brought me back 2 Tiffany & Co. gifts, one of which was this Return To Tiffany Mini Heart Tag earrings. I love how cute they look, and how thoughtful my Bunny always is. :*)

We had a good time walking around in the city after the lunch and managed to nab some Ksubi and Vanishing Elephant goodies for Bunny. (It must have been an Aussie designer shopping spurt because Bunny bought me Alannah Hill's Singing Out Loud Frock just a few days ago!)

Also went looking around the boutiques to do some early Christmas gift planning, and all I can say is that inventory sure moves fast. Barely a few days of indecision and the items are sold! Not a happy camper at all, Hermes!

I always get questions about my nail polish so have decided to start including the names of the nail polishes I use in each outfit post.

This one here is the very popular Happy Birthday by Deborah Lippmann. I actually prefer her pink version of it - which you can see here. That pretty shade is called Candy Shop and has definitely knocked OPI's Teenage Dream off the top of my list.

Hello Lovelies!

Bunny and myself have never been ones to wake up early and be out and about on weekends, but we seem to be slowly getting there. There are just too many errands to run, and things to do! On both Saturday and today, Sunday, we woke up at 8am! 0.o

I have been itching to pack up my house a bit, and it's just my bad luck that Ikea has chosen this exact time to run out of their nifty big clear boxes. I have to wait till the 22nd of next month for stock to be replenished. :( It's gonna be so hard twiddling my thumbs till then...

Because I have been a good girl lately, Bunny finally allowed me to drop by this lovely aquarium shop near our place. I used to keep fishes in a pretty big tank in my old office in Singapore and have missed it so much. My favourite fishes include Balloon Rams, Pristellas and Otocinclus-s, but I was thinking more of marine fishes like Pajama and Black Striped Cardinals this time round.

Sad bit is that these beautiful fishes need a tank or at least 30 gallons and my tiny little townhouse has no space for such a massive watery habitat just yet. So I shall shelve that fishy thought till we finally find a place we want to call our own.

I am off now to do some online shopping - a lot of clothes have been on my hit list recently for both Bunny and myself, and I just can't resist! ;) Hehe and yes I know I seem to spend almost all my free time shopping!

Love Six

Bunny and me, we have been together for what seems like most of my teenage-adult life. We met in college, and were best friends till we officially got together almost six years ago.

It was really tough in the beginning. He was in Brisbane finishing up university, and I had returned from Perth and just started work as a Public Relations Manager in Singapore.

Long distance relationships defy the strongest and most devoted of couples, so for us to withstand that right from the beginning was no mean feat.

I am glad we have only grown from there, and now here we are, partners and soul mates that only function well together. ♥♥

All our friends have been asking us right from the start when we would be holding our wedding, but to us, getting married is just a formality that we have always been a little lazy to go through haha.

Well, the time is slowly getting nearer I suppose, since we are now engaged. I adore the ring, it's the perfect token of love from my perfect man. :)

For the first time in a long time, I have no weekly outfit post. My cute little photographer aka Bunny is away in Melbourne with his parents, attending his cousin's wedding. Words cannot describe how much I miss my love, but my Lulu needs my care and company too; frightening her by putting her in a pet hotel is definitely something I avoid unless absolutely necessary.

I spent a lot of my alone-without-my-regular-human time moping (remember I am a sticky bean?) but also managed to list some more of my vintage treasures on Ditzy Granny Vintage. My favourite dress is finally up for sale haha. Someone, please pry her from my tight grasp. ;P

I also downloaded photos I have taken with my camera eons ago, which I should have blogged about but never did due to being busy with family, work and errands. Yay to more blog posts coming up... ♥

I am going off for the night now, I have to attend a workshop in the morning at another of our offices early tomorrow morning so I need to be bright and cheery. Little sleep definitely makes Addie a dull girl.

This is the Alannah Hill cardigan that I mentioned Bunny tracked down for me a while ago. I love the pale pink color, so pale that it seems almost white in the photos. The darling little sequins and the cute flower buttons made me smile all day long as I went about my day. :)

We went shopping in the city on Saturday as I had booked dinner there. We were going to try a new Chinese restaurant for our monthly anniversary. ♥

I took the chance to drop off my Chanel earrings for repair seeing as one diamante had fallen out. The service was pretty lacklustre and I actually had to pay to get the earring repaired. I take really good care of all my accessories, so to pay for a repair that is the fault of the brand's shoddy workmanship definitely did not sit well with me.

I guess I feel really aggrieved because I actually had to replace one of my Chanel eyeglasses twice - the diamantes kept dropping out. Eventually, I just bought a new pair of Chanel eyeglasses that did not have diamantes anywhere in their design.

We had a nice walk-around Louis Vuitton as I have my eye on some things for Bunny. We also popped by Cartier and Tiffany & Co. to have a look at some of their jewellery. It mustn't have been my day because I was kept waiting for 40 minutes in Tiffany & Co.

Luckily for us, the service in Cartier was exemplary so I am glad to say I have decided to go with Cartier over Tiffany & Co., and will be back there soon to order in some items.

Bunny and myself spent the better part of today's morning and early afternoon sprucing up our little townhouse. Bunny's parents are coming to visit for a bit next week, so we are happily looking forward to some quality family time.

This has been an exhaustive week. Though it's the long weekend in Sydney, it's not been wonderful at all.

Bunny is away in Hong Kong; he flew out on Friday night and now because of the typhoon, he can't get on a flight back. He has even resorted to sleeping at the airport in the hopes that there would be a cancellation and he can get a seat back asap to see me.

My heart breaks really, I miss him oodles. I am a real sticky bean girlfriend and being away from him for days is definitely not fun at all.

I am also quite incredulous really to hear from the airline's customer service - that five flights in a row are tentatively full, both Economy and Business class! >.<

But chug on with life I must, so in a bid to make my mood all that much better, I decided it was time for yet another outfit post...

Allo, I am back from my little Manly Beach trip with my colleagues and my oh my were the views of the water so spectacular!

It was fabulous to meet the out-of-towners and to be introduced to so many new faces. I laughed a lot as I had some dear friends amongst the invitees and it was the most un-boring Management Conference I have ever attended to date.

We stayed at a Sydney Heritage Site, an old quarantine station which has since been refurbished into a hotel, and wow the ghostly presence of people who perished there was pretty overwhelming!

It didn't help that my room had framed photos of a long ghostly corridor and a big pile of bones...

Now, I am a typical scaredy-cat, so I was up half the night sniffling down the phone to Bunny, who wanted to come rescue me in his normal gallant way but I was determined to be a big girl just for one night.

I also managed not to leave anything behind for once but I did damage my Chanel earrings in the process so big boohoo... T.T

After getting home, I slept for 11 hours, but oddly am still feeling a bit out of sorts now.

Bunny even allowed me to skip our regular grocery shopping trip in favour of a drive to the city for a bit of clothes shopping yesterday. Gotta love that dear boy. ♥

Yayyyyyy, after hours and hours of mind-numbing, eye-straining hard work, my blog is back online and functioning. Phew!

Lots of blogging stuff to catch up on now, but I am just so glad to put the photo hosting nightmare behind me. :)

Siren sent me along some goodies and I reckon their super cute Ella Sailor Top looks absolutely smashing with their Suzie Cardigan. I do hope that my new pseudo boyfriend thinks so too!

Stewie from The Family Guy is such a funny oddity. Just as I was changing to go out, he dropped off his perch in our room, I figured that was his way of saying he wanted to go out for a day trip so off we went.

Besides our weekly grocery trip out, this weekend has been a rather quiet, laid-back one filled with lots of Criminal Minds episodes, laughter with Bunny and cuddles with an increasingly sticky Lulu.

I have also gotten some awesome pressies in the mail lately, and one super fabulous shopping package... All I can say is that the crazy shopping bug has bitten me terribly again!

So I am gonna go do some online shopping now. ♥

Allo Sweethearts,

I actually had something really fantastic planned for the latter part of this week but unfortunately have had to postpone it.

My photo hosting website inexplicably deleted all my blog photos on Sunday night, and I have been really busy trying to manually transfer all my photos one by one to a new hosting site and fixing the links for each post.

My every free minute has been spent on this tiring process, and now my eyes feel like they are about to pop out of their sockets despite being far from done!

So, do bear with me while I disappear for a bit, and try to get everything up properly.

I have been wearing a lot of blue this past few weeks, and it's like my blue Lanvin ballerinas are glued to my feet! I need to get back to my pink frenzy soon, hopefully by the next outfit post. ;)

Hehe, so sorry if my dressing has been a bit pared down lately, I have been trying to get into the groove of juggling heaps of things to do versus having so little waking hours in a day.

When the Prada Robot Tricks first came out, I contemplated collecting them all, but some really weren't my cup of tea so I just bought the few that I adored. Lilo is super cute, and was one of the hardest to track down! Love her cute little ant-y face, and how dear she looks dangling off my bags. ♥

My Ne-Net Cat Cardigan was something I had been eying a while, but never bought because it was so terribly exy. My dear friend knowing just how much I had to have it, somehow managed to get a staff discount for me so now I am able to have her for my own. :)

As for the beautiful dress I am wearing, it's actually a *surprise surprise* vintage maternity dress which I would be putting up on Ditzy Granny Vintage soon. It was much too big for my frame so I had to use my trusty belt to help me rein it in.

Hello Lovelies!

I am finally back on my blog, tired but buoyed by a melted cheese bread bun I just ate and the fantastic feel of the sun on my face as I type this entry.

My week days were a complete wipe-out in terms of time for myself but I did manage to get a few minutes here and there for myself during this weekend. :)

Spent the Saturday down at Home World in faraway Kellyville with Bunny, looking at beautifully built-up homes and pretending we could afford to live in some of the lavish mansions we checked out.

We also had a scenic afternoon walk around Newington, and it's just the most beautiful little suburb there could be in Sydney! I really should have snapped some photos but I was super lazy to drag out my camera from my bag. Please forgive me. (0.0)v

Lately, I have been sleeping early and waking early, even on weekends, and I can't help but feel that I am getting old. Oh, such is the journey of life...
