I was one of those backers for Mighty No 9

and it's come out to pretty middling reviews

I've just about wrapped up my time with it, and I can't say I disagree with them

it's not a bad game, but it is very uneven in terms of difficulty, ranging from incredibly simple to infuriating instant death portions

and the biggest issue for me is the robot powers are just so ineffectual

a lot of weird design decisions here

but hey, at least it happened

that said, I like what they were trying to do

Microsoft spends all that time telling you their DRM is great, then totally back out when Sony goes apeshit on them

they had some cool ideas, but my biggest concern was always the 24 hours checkin

I actually did go see Prometheus over the weekend

I liked it well enough. I don't see where people are coming from saying that its a bad movie. Just because it leaves most things for the viewer to figure out does not make it bad.

That said, it did hit a few of the same notes as Alien for me in a little bit too much of a predictable fashion. I almost liken this more to the Thing remake/prequel.
