Joseph, I'm not going to do this with you again. We debated for 8 hours on Facebook and you didn't present a valid legal argument against same-sex marriage. You spent most of the time throwing around the 'activist judges' line.

What struck me was that you also could cite a theological reason why marriage should be defined as between one man and one woman. Of course, yours being the religion of polygamy, well...

Your reasoning was simply based on your own personal belief. The term 'Marriage Traditionalist' says it all. Well I'm sorry but just because something has been done a certain way for a certain amount of time, that doesn't necessarily mean it can't be done differently. Tradition cannot hold us back from creating a more just society.

The bottom line is that there are issues that arise from the separate but equal nature of the two types of legal unions, which is a complex debate on its own... and they are NOT the same. But since I respect churchs' rights in defining marriage as a religious sacrament, we agree that government should get out of the marriage business.

That said, I still wonder why you need to continue to try to cram your fascist dogma at gays such as myself under the guise of 'constitutional debate.'

"Even though we’ve offered to compromise, we just cannot allow tax advantages, guaranteed family medical coverage, and hospital visitation rights for gay couples or allow all families to have the same opportunities."

This is irrelevant for the simple fact that the current statutory law actually gives the exact same rights as married couples to domestic partners. Your stating that all these benefits are denied homosexuals is simply FALSE: It's in California Code (See http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/displaycode?section=fam&group=00001-01000&file=297-297.5)

BTW, this was the case both before and, and still is the case after, the passage of Proposition 8. All Proposition 8 does is keeps the State of California off the consciences of marriage traditionalists for now. The best solution would be to abolish marriage licensing and dodge the stupid culture war.

Also the idea that "we've offered to compromise" also wasn't an issue in the case of Prop. 8. The compromise had already been achieved as far as benefits in Section 297 by the legislature. Marriage traditionalists simply objected to the Supreme Court's use of a sacred religious sacrament. It's a good thing because the actual effect of putting the Supreme Court in its place was to keep them from socially engineering from the bench.

I think that the U.S. has no right to aband GayMarriage. And if the U.S. did, then some of the people will still be gay. You know? I am gay and i support Gaymarriages. I like to date men more than women. Women uses men for money and other stuff too. Even Mothers teaches they`re daughters how to use men for money and other stuff too. So why this? Why do the U.S have to start this now? I think they should aband Male and Female`s marriages anyway. Do you know that some Women don`t want to date men because of they`re heights? That means that they`re mothers are telling they`re daughters how to date tall men. The U.S. has to have better understanding about why is it okay to be gay. Please allow Gaymarriages in the U.S.

As I expected, Fiala has sent me a comment to post here:

“Pedroza, Mr. Klaus is promoting same values as I am promoting in Santa Ana. It is only a matter of time before they will be realized here too. ”

Viva the Czech Republic Stan - be sure to book your flight back as soon as possible…

Truth which loser Pedroza would not publish:
——————————————-
I think it would be good idea to advise your group Pedroza to get out of here since they are a burden to the USA economy while Czech are propelling it. Counting all my businesses, technological inventions and employment which I have provided for this country since 1969 is more than 1000s of your people destroyed.
