This is 100% NSFW, not safe for kids, not safe for girlfriends with no sense of humor… you get the point. I’m really not sure if this is a legit Skittles commercial or a really good fake (yes, I realize I could probably Google this to find out, but I prefer being ignorant and believing this is really from the company). If you know the story behind this commercial, feel free to drop some knowledge in the comments. Otherwise, I’m content enjoying this for all it’s totally inappropriate glory.

The Best iPad 2 Cases For Guys

Our last post on iPad cases came out just before the iPad 2, so we decided to let some time pass, let the new cases come out, and see what’s on the market. As you know, the iPad 2 sports a new, thinner design, front and rear-facing cameras, a more powerful processor, and a magnetic ‘smart cover’. Let’s get started with a unique third-party ‘case’ and eventually get to one of Apple’s own.

Apple Smart Cover

The native Smart Cover case by Apple is certainly unique, in that it uses magnetic hinges to attach to the iPad itself. Additionally, the iPad is smart enough that when the cover is lifted, the iPad wakes up. Simiarly, if you close the cover, the iPad then goes to sleep. Very cool. The only downsides to this ‘case’ is that the Smart Cover is pretty thin, and wouldn’t keep your iPad especially safe. Smart Cover does come in a wide range of colors.

Jordan Sells Bentley To Local Museum

The car that inspired an air Jordan shoe model is now on display about 15 miles west down the road from where Michael Jordan lived when he played for the Chicago Bulls.

The owner of the Volo Auto Museum on route 120 has just purchased for 90-thousand dollars, Jordan’s one of a kind 2005 Bentley Continental, complete with dark tinted windows and 9-thousand dollar Lowenhart wheels.

Volo museum owner Greg Grams says the Jordan Bentley is a W-12 engine — not a V-12, but a W-12.

It consists of two turbocharged V-6 engines side by side producing a grant total of 552 horsepower. Grams say it will keep up with any of the Lamborghinis in his “Auto Vault.”

And Grams says this particular Bentley’s grill was the inspiration for one of the Air Jordans which had been coming out with a different model every year.

Also on hand in Volo at Route 120 and 12, the Sapphire Rolls Royce Silver Spur which was purchased specifically for the 1996 visit of Princess Diana to Chicago, the year before she died.

Also on hand: singer Rod Stewart’s Lemon Yellow Dodge Viper which suffered a few bumps and bruises after being stolen by Stewart’s gardener — heavily laden with resentment, Xanax and cocaine after his firing in 2005.

Grams says he makes his living turning over classic Chevelles and Mustangs which continued selling steadily through the recession. But he says the cars of the stars are what bring the visitors into to his Volo Auto Museum at 10-dollars a head on route 120, north of Chicago.

Nascar driver Brian Vickers wrestled a cheetah during his off week from Nascar. Seriously.

He’s obviously not afraid of dying after surviving his near-death battle with blood clots. Clearly, Brian Vickers is WINNING (and maybe wanted some ~~tiger~~ cheetah blood?)

As data from the 2010 Census is released for states across the country, the figures released yesterday for Texas show that Houston remains smaller than Chicago, the third most populous city in the nation.

As Chicago, the country’s third-largest city, reported on Tuesday a decrease in population of over 200,000 residents, experts speculated that the booming Houston metropolis may overtake Chicago’s rank as No. 3. According to www.Forbes.com, the official tally for Houston’s population is at 2.09 million, still below Chicago with just under 2.7 million residents.

In Chicago, a high cost of living and poor job market has sent many of its residents to surrounding suburban counties. Houston’s relatively low cost of living has been a great attraction to residents throughout Texas and the rest of the country.

“If Chicago doesn’t change direction, it’s obvious Houston could overtake Chicago and become bigger sometime in the next decade,” former U.S. Census Bureau Director Steve Murdock tells SeattleTimes.NWSource.com.
