President Trump will address the nation on Wednesday, December 17 at approximately 9 p.m. ET. The speech is anticipated to be 15- to 20-minutes in length. PBS News will provide live coverage which will interrupt normally scheduled programming.

On Tuesday, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt spoke to Fox News about what President Trump will be talking about, saying, “He’ll be addressing the country about all of his historic accomplishments over the past year and maybe teasing some policy that will be coming in the new year, as we head into this Christmas season.”

After President Trump’s address, our broadcast and livestream will return to NOVA: Polar Extremes, a two-hour episode of the science and nature program, which can also be streamed on demand.
