Tuesday Morning This n That

Well MNF was a sweep for us going 2-0. It's always nice to end on a positive note. I really want to handicap Mountaineer but with all this rain they are getting right now I think I'm probably going to have to pass. So to recap NFL Week #2 we went 2-1 on Sides & 1-1-1 on Totals. 4-2-1 Overall. Another thing most of you have probably been hearing a lot about are these Replacement Refs. They are a joke and embarrassing to the NFL right now. Bottom Line is they don't belong up here and it shows. As far as play calling and handicapping I look at it like this. There are going to be bad calls that will hurt us and bad calls that help us. I compare it to sitting at a blackjack table when the guy sitting at 3rd base doesn't play "Basic Strategy" and should have taken a hit but doesn't and the whole table loses. You WILL remember that. But that same guy also hit's at the wrong time and the table wins because he took the hit. People collect their money and move on waiting for that guy to mess up again. Unfortunately the ones that stand out in our minds are the one's that make us lose. I understand it's a tough pill to swallow, I've been there. But that's gambling folks. Keep Well.

Sunday This n That ~ #MDA Weekend

Well I didn't have time to handicap any races this weekend but that didn't matter. This weekend I set up a Fill The Boot for MDA for my Fire Fighters IAFF Local-2355. Myself and my fellow brothers stood the streets and raise almost $4000 !!! Amazing !!! I'm looking forward to next week's MDA Telethon where the money we all raised can be presented to MDA. What a great weekend and thank you to everyone who participated and donated !
