Beating The Blues at Rossendale Rubicon, Manchester Road Methodists, Haslingden – 1pm-3pm. Group of musicians & beginners meet to cast their blues aside and chill out playing and learning to play music – everyone over 16 and under 110 welcome- £2 a session. The East Lancashire Chronic Pain Support Group meets every Thursday morning for very gentle Nia Exercise and relaxation, with speakers for talks, regular arranged outings and a sense of humour is a must! Come and join in between 9.30am- 12 noon at Haslingden Community Link.

Course covers camera operation and video editing on professional broadcast quality equipment culminating in a production of a short film for Rossendale TV. All participants will gain Level 2 qualification in film and video editing. Courses run over 8 weeks between 6pm-9pm at The Boo (Horse & Bamboo Theatre Space), Waterfoot. The ‘Young at Heart’ group meet every Monday, running in conjunction with Age UK – drop in for tea and toast, chat, activities and to meet new people. Costs £1 per person and is held at Stacksteads Methodist, Rook Hill Rd.

Every Monday there's a breastfeeding support session at Haslingden Community Link. With countless benefits for both mother and baby, support is offered in a friendly, safe and comfortable environment. Café Twenty Three are hosting a new service from Carers Contact, giving Carers a chance to come along to office on Yorkshire Street, Burnley and to spend anywhere from 20 minutes to a couple of hours having a brew and a cake or crumpet in the comfort of the café. Edenfield Badminton and Social Club is a friendly group that plays weekly at Haslingden Sports Centre, on Mondays from 8.00pm to 10.00pm. Registered charity ADHD North West are holding a Parent Empowerment & Skills Training programme for the parents of children aged between 6-12 years affected by ADHD and associated conditions. The first training programme will be held on Thursday 19th January and runs for 9 sessions (excluding February’s half-term holidays) from 9.30am to 12 noon at the Rossendale Family Support Resource Centre, Newchurch Road, Rawtenstall.
