As for Trump, when your followers start to believe you may be the antichrist, it won’t be long before they see that red MAGA hat as the “mark of the beast”.

The far right parties in Europe would prefer it if Trump and Vance don’t come over to campaign for them. They’re the kiss of death.

In the meantime, Péter Magyar, the newly elected prime minister of Hungary is going after the immense corruption of Orban and his Fidesz party. Take a look at this in The Times:

A new asset retrieval office, to be set up by June, will be funded from the proceeds of shutting a department set up by Orban to investigate journalists and NGOs. The office will also determine whether Orban should face jail for corruption.

“There are confidential government decrees, classified agreements we know nothing about,” said Magyar. 

“Orban took out loans with unknown conditions, signed treaties that cost millions,” he added, claiming that Hungary became a “captured state” during Orban’s years in power.

It has been “robbed, betrayed and destroyed” by the Orban government, Magyar said. “Now we want to see what the robbers left behind.”

Read the whole thing. Magyar says the shredders in government offices are going non-stop to hide the collusion between Hungary and Russia. His first priority is destroying Orban’s state and all the restrictions and laws put in place that allowed Orban and Fidesz to rob Hungary blind.

This is what needs to happen when we finally see the end of Trump and his red hats. Their Trump crime organization is making a fortune from our tax dollars. This should be especially meaningful today when we submit ourselves to the IRS and Trump sees that money as his own personal stash. It’s equally infuriating that the Republicans in Congress let him get away with it.

They all need to be cleaned out so we can see what the robbers left us.

Check out this interview on The Bulwark of David Pressman, Biden’s ambassador to Hungary. You’ll get an idea of what Magyar is up against and the incredible effort it took to overcome Orban’s political system to win last Sunday. A lot of Pressman’s observations will sound very familiar.

Nowadays, they’ll let anybody in. They admit fascists and serial adulterers. I’m always shocked to see how many of Trump’s cronies and appointees are Catholics. The Supreme Court that gave him immunity from prosecution for any act that he can make into an executive order is dominated by Catholics and several that were recommended by Federalist Society selection committee head Leonard Leo.

Since 2022, all women in America are subject to Catholic teachings on what they can do with their bodies whether they like it or not. You’d think that more than half of the population should have a vote on that. Nope.

So, I’m not sure why Trump has a problem with this pope. It’s not like Trump is Catholic. I can remember my first confession and having to exaggerate my sins. But if Trump were to convert, he’d wear the priest out. It would go on for days, weeks. There would always be something he remembered after everyone thought he was done.

One thing Trump will bring up time and again is how we should all be grateful that there were just enough Americans who traded their freedoms for safety from Guatemalan toddlers and higher 401K’s.

This, unfortunately for Trump, is this pope’s expertise: treating immigrants with dignity and helping the poor. If I didn’t have a thing about never joining a religion that doesn’t respect women as equal, and seems to let just about anyone join these days, I’d say that this pope is exactly what the world needs right now.

Fortunately for Catholics, Donald Trump doesn’t get a vote at the Conclave.

He has to live with a pope with life long tenure who he hates and doesn’t share his worldview just like we have to put up with Trump who we didn’t vote for and is actively impoverishing America in wealth and spirit but may be gone at any moment.

Suck it up, buttercup.

In order for Magyar and his party, Tisza, to start rolling back the damage caused by Orban, they needed a supermajority in the parliament. The Hungarian parliament has 199 seats, so it would need 133 seats.

It has 137 so far.

This could change but it looks to me like Fidesz was soundly trounced.

We have done something similar here in the US. Back in 1964, Democrats won in overwhelming numbers in the House and Senate. The number of republicans that were left were too small to pose any significant opposition. And with those conditions in place, we passed Medicare.

Now Hungary can get off the ledge and rejoin the world of choices. One of those choices, I hope, is that it will stop blocking a 90,000,000€ aid package to Ukraine.

It should be noted that Trump was offering Hungary a large chunk of US taxpayer dollars if they would stick with Orban. They didn’t take the money because they knew a grift when they saw it.

The voter turnout in Hungary today was something like 78%. We have to do at least that well in November and eliminate the impediment to progress in the US. That means getting rid of as many Republicans in Congress as we possibly can and at every level in state governments as well. And if we can take out some centrist Democrats and replace them with risk takers, we might just have a chance to turn this ship around.

Trump’s superpower is about to come to an end. He tried every trick in the book to influence the Hungarian election. But no one in Europe is fooled by anything these Pleonexic Authoritarians are doing anymore. They’re not buying the scary immigrant scenarios or the trans youth horror stories and nobody wants to have 5 kids. It’s just not working.

They got your number, Donald.

What’s sad about that is there are at least 20 other people who will have to go on unemployment. So, that’s not good.

Paolo and Amanda were at Trump’s first inaugural. They sat with Donald and Melania themselves. So, you know, friends. Then Paolo got a sweet sinecure as the special envoy for global affairs or international development or something like that. A very Kristi Noem, the Sequel, position.

Like I said, the marriage didn’t last and the custody battle was scorched earth. But last year, Paolo had a solution to that problem. He called in a favor and sicced ICE on Amanda. I guess she overstayed her visa. Nice.

She was deported to Brazil after spending sometime in our well appointed detention centers. I’m going to guess she didn’t leave with her child.

Not good. Not good at all. Trump and Melania should have thought about this before they sent her back to a country where they prosecute and jail their former presidents who try a coup after they lose an election. Maybe Amanda was inspired by that act of justice. In a recent social media post, she wrote:

Amanda conjured up some spirits. She’s going for it. You can’t kiss and make up now. It’s too late, which is probably why Melania tried to head it off. She must know that she can’t stop the interview from airing. It’s a fait accompli.

What could it possibly be anyway? A First Lady filmed in a threesome? Why would she be upset about that? We’ve already seen legit photos of her posing naked and she was proud of them. If she was recorded doing things with other consenting adults, think of all the money she could make from that.

I’m only speculating. It could be much kinkier. But that’s not the worst part of her threat speech.

The worst part came at the end when she announced what Donald and Todd Blanche are about to do to the survivors who had the nerve to try to hold the Epstein class accountable.

They are going to call on those women to come to Congress and swear under oath about what Maxwell, Epstein, and his party list did to them when they were younger and under the age of consent.

They will have to go in front of Congress, subpoenaed probably and under oath, to recite the details of their abuse to the whole nation. And just like many rape trials, they’re going to get smeared and degraded. Then the Trump administration and his corrupt DOJ will declare the whole thing over.

They wanted to meet with DOJ prosecutors but instead they’re going to be dragged through the mud by James Comer and his Republican henchmen. Their messed up lives as a result of what happened to them as children will be used against them. Their families will be harassed. It will be Christine Blasie Ford on steroids.

That’s what Trump wants to do to them. It’s because, to MAGA Republicans, women are only secretaries, mommies, or hoo-ers and the men who abuse them or think they own them and can do whatever they want, should be able to get away with it.

It’s not enough to steal money that isn’t theirs or threaten to wipe out a 5000 year old civilization. No, now we’re expected to watch them destroy the lives of human beings they’ve already abused.

If they go through with this, don’t be surprised that the victims who refuse to testify in public are jailed for defying a congressional subpoena. And anyone who gets one tiny thing wrong because of memory issues or witnesses whose accounts don’t line up 100% will be indicted for lying to Congress.

That’s how Trump is planning to get back at them, shut them up, and get Pam Bondi from testifying before Congress.

Just wait. The evil is indescribable. That’s why they’re using Melania to deliver the threat. Everyone is chasing her like magpies spotting a shiny object while the real victims are now contemplating the worst thing to happen to them since Epstein passed them around to his friends.

Marco Rubio was in agreement on that. Check.

JD Vance, who is actively campaigning for Victor Orban who rewrote the Hungarian constitution, codified crony capitalism, has what may be a stranglehold on election results, and who most Hungarians really hate, is also trying to distance himself from Trump, but not, regrettably, from right wing authoritarianism.

Orban was caught on tape telling Putin he was at his service:

On the morning of Vance’s European trip, Bloomberg revealed that Orbán told the Russian president in October 2025 that he was prepared to help Moscow “in any way” to win the war in Ukraine, adding: “In any matter where I can be of assistance, I am at your service.”

Nice.

But this is who Vance is lining up behind while Trump is cutting him out of ceasefire negotiations. That sounds juicy.

Pete Hegseth is getting the vote of confidence death knell from Trump. Check.

This tidbit is delicious. Remember the Secretary of the Army who Hegseth fired last week ? He ain’t goin’ :

Dan Driscoll said he has no plans to depart or resign as Army secretary, as there has been repeated tension between himself and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth dating back to last year. 

“Serving under President Trump has been the honor of a lifetime and I remain laser focused on providing America with the strongest land fighting force the world has ever seen,” Driscoll said in a statement to The Hill. “I have no plans to depart or resign as the Secretary of the Army.” 

Honor in this context could mean so many things.

In other news, some people in various comments sections are saying that Trump will make out bigly in the market from this. Or maybe just Eric. Or Jared. They’ve probably diversified their portfolios and have their hands in everything.

For someone with Trump’s personality disorders, it really doesn’t get any better than that.

PLUS, the Republican party and the cabinet stood by and let him do it. They either knew he was going to taco because they were in on the plan, or they just expected it out of habit, or they have a lot of rapturists in their delegations who were all ready to go.

He’s going to do whatever he wants now wherever he wants. He knows the party will never stop him. Or he’ll threaten to do something and never carry it out.

But the reaction of his global audience? With all the fear and anxiety, their lives suspended and waiting on his next thought? Delicious.

This is how narcissists work. They feed off your fear and discomfort. They dangle bad things over your head to watch you flinch or beg. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tucker Carlson and Alex Jones wrung their hands in faux distress just to amplify the monumental importance of Trump’s thoughts.

We’ll never get him to stop but we can stop reacting to him. There’s nothing a narcissist hates more than indifference.

He really does need to be removed because this is indefensible behavior from the “leader” of a superpower. Just divorce yourself from feeling anything about his crazy and put your mind on dragging him out of the Oval Office by his legs, face down.
