Subway - Subway is not only good for you, it's cheap, something quite hard to come by these days. It's a lot better than a greasy burger with extra salted fries!
Taco Bell - Like Subway Taco Bell is cheap, now is it good for you? No, but still not a greasy burger Taco Bell is quite delicious and you can't go wrong with a 2$ meal deal
Bagel Boy - Now this may be a local chain only from where I live but this little spot (two different locations actually) is the greatest, and also cheap with a bagel and creme cheese only being 2$, Their specialty sandwiches are amazing as well.
Burger King - Yes after all this talk of being good for you I put Burger King on this list. Why? Cause Burger King is extremely tasty that's why! Anything off the value menu is 100% worth it and nothing can beat the King Whopper! McDonald's has it's own taste that now just reminds me of disgusting allegations I've heard against McDonald's.
Lastly, Sonic - A laid back atmosphere, you can eat in your car, the Limeades are absoloutly delicious, the drinks Sonic drinks are just as good as their food. Always a great spot to eat!

How to keep your smoke concealed to one room

You most definitely are going to have occasions where it is necessary to keep your smoke contained, whether it be parents, apartment landlords, or just other tenants.

Hopefully following these steps will severely decrease the amount of smoke that exits the room.
THIS GUIDE IS TO BE USED IN A BATHROOM WITH A FAN
You know, the one you turn on when you shower

Lightly dampen a towel and put the towel longways across the bottom seam of the door (this is how most smoke gets out is the large gap at the bottom of the door)
Turn on the fan and make sure to blow hits up to the fan not just around the room
Turn on the shower and make sure it's as hot as can be (the steam will help mask/get rid of the smoke)
If you want to go the extra step, make a zoom-tube which is just a toilet paper roll stuffed with dryer sheets and a tight dryer sheet over the end opposite of where you place your mouth. Blow the smoke through it as the dryer sheet makes the smoke smell 'fresh'
Relax and get baked, the only down side is that since your auditory system is effected by bud you think you hear someone walking around.

During said hiatus I discovered the future of the 420 culture as we know, I'm talking of course about BHO (Butane Honey Oil). Now I know what your thinking "Dude, are you serious? BUTANE, why would I want to smoke that shit?" Well, fun fact is butane evaporates at room temperature therefore your not smoking any of the butane (if the person who made your oil did it right) , anyway BHO is 70-85% THC, compared to flower which is only 10-20% THC, meaning taking a "dab" of BHO is the same as smoking 1-2 bowls to yourself which results in a very intense high!
It's great and head shops are starting to carry the equipment needed to smoke the oil, the one downside to BHO is the fact you have to buy new equipment as the BHO cannot just be put on some bud, well you can, but it's wasting it. Here's Wikipedia's definition of BHO and I have included a video on how one makes the BHO.

Bongs themselves also are a category of their own just based on all the accessories that are available and the multitude of percolators (an extra reservoir of water for the smoke to travel through) or ash catchers (same as a percolator, except for the fact it can be removed, unlike a percolator.)

Android vs. iPhone: 5 Battlefields

Jun 20, 2010 6:45 AM Apple's iPhone and Google's Android smartphones are getting set for another epic battle next week as these two titans of the smartphone industry show off their latest devices.
First, on June 23 the Axis of Don't Be Evil composed of Google, Verizon, and Adobe will announce the next wave of Android-based Motorola Droid devices. Then a day later on June 24, the Tenacious Tandem of Apple and AT&T launch the iPhone 4, the latest iteration of the popular smartphone, in the United States (the device will also launch internationally on June 24 in France, Germany, Japan and the U.K.).
Apple already sold 600,000 iPhone 4 devices in one day despite severe technical problems with ordering systems in the United States. Motorola Droid is the most popular smartphone in the Android army, and the June 23 announcement is expected to bring significant upgrades to Motorola's popular Android brand.
The stage is set, and the next battle is about to begin as Google and Apple compete over who will become the number one contender to compete for Research In Motion's smartphone crown.
So, as we get ready for next week's showdown, let's look at some of the key areas where the two smartphone platforms will compete, as well as some quick and dirty predictions over who has the advantage in each category.

Devices

The new iPhone 4 is boasting some impressive specs, including a front-facing camera, high-definition 720p video recording capability, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, longer battery life, three-axis gyroscope, and a 960-by-640 resolution 3.5-inch LED display.
On the other side, the big news expected to come out of the June 23 Android announcement is the recently-confirmed Droid X. The Droid X features a 4.3-inch display , HDMI output, and 720p video recording capability. The new Droid device is also said to sport an 854-by-480 resolution screen, and 8-megapixel camera with flash. The Droid X is likely to run Android 2.1 (Eclair), according to Engadget. It's unclear whether the new Droid device will be capable of running the oft-hyped Flash Player 10.1 for mobile devices.
Both devices sound impressive, but Android appears to be missing one key feature present on the iPhone 4: the front-facing camera. But on the other hand, there's already an Android device that boasts this feature on Sprint's network: HTC's Android-based EVO 4G.
While Apple typically brings out some nice hardware every year, a new and better Android device appears on the market every few months. Apple simply can't keep pace with the multiplicity of different Android devices being produced, with each one typically being better than the last. Advantage: Android

Sales and Market Penetration

One Morgan Stanley analyst believes the iPhone is headed for 100 million total users worldwide by the end of 2011. That's a pretty big jump from the 30 million iPhone users said to be around today. Right now, Nielsen says that Apple owns about 28 percent of the smartphone market in the United States, while Android makes up just 9 percent of U.S. smartphone users. Both the iPhone and Android, however, grew equally by 2 percent year-over-year during the first quarter of 2010.
Earlier, NPD Group released a report saying that Android sales had outpaced iPhone sales during the first quarter of 2010, while Gartner said that Android grew by 707 percent during that same quarter.
So Android appears to be coming on strong, but the iPhone still has a much larger share of the smartphone market despite the plethora of Android devices. If Google wants to beat the iPhone it will have to sustain its phenomenal growth over the long term, but it's difficult to keep up enthusiasm when you're announcing a new Android device every few weeks. Also, despite Google's successes with Android, it still hasn't been able to replicate the iPhone mania that occurs around every launch of a new Apple smartphone. In fact, there's already one brave soul camping out for the iPhone 4 in Dallas six days before the new device is released. Advantage: iPhone

Carriers

There's an in the United States, but if you want the iPhone you have to go with AT&T. This has been the state of affairs since the iPhone's launch in 2007, and the exclusive relationship shows no sign of ending despite rumors of an iPhone on Verizon or T-Mobile, and even speculation about Sprint.
Apple can withstand the calls to move to multiple operators for the moment, but if Android keeps growing quickly Cupertino may have to consider making its device available in the United States on more than one network. Advantage: Android

Operating System

Apple has just one operating system available for sale at a time, and until recently it made iOS updates available to almost all of its older hardware. Android, on the other hand, suffers from a multiplicity of available devices with new and old versions of the hardware, including Android 1.6, 2.1 and the upcoming 2.2. That can get to be confusing for users, since you have to figure out which operating system you're phone has, whether it's going to get upgrades, and which features you may be missing.
Apple's approach is much simpler since it makes available (and supports) only two versions of the iPhone -- currently iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 -- at once. Even better, the feature difference between the two phones is not that great and immediately obvious. Advantage: iPhone

Apps

You would think that apps would be the biggest battleground for these two smartphone platforms, since most critics agree that available applications are what attract new users. Both companies love to boast about how many apps each store has--Apple has more than 200,000 and Google has some 30,000. But the truth is, both smartphones have reached a level that will serve the needs of most consumers. Sure, if you're looking for something like a specialty medical app you owe it to yourself to do the research and figure out which platform is best. But for most users, there are plenty of apps to go around.
The key here will be whether Apple's recent policies on banning cross-platform app-building tools will sour developers' attitudes over the long term. Conversely, will Google's embrace of things like Flash and Android's perceived openness woo more developers to work on the Android platform? For now, both sides appear to have an equally aggressive application library regardless of the total number of apps in each store. Advantage: neither

SO. I sold my 2 ft tree perc bong to my dealer for a qtr of Grape Kush. I had purchased the bong from her for 90$ so it was a pretty good deal, went out to my neighborhood head shop and picked up a SICK Custom Creations Stemless bong (pictures to come later!!! I need a camera!!!) heres a pic from the internet of it though, milks like a champ! So then my girlfriend had decided to go into psycho bitch mode and she was holding the bong and THREW IT on the ground, not a drop of "oops oh nooooooo!" she fucking THREW it....anyway the circular base is now smashed and its now a true straight tube, makes it really hard to keep it upright but life moves on :D and then now yesterday my dealer texts me..."Guess what I broke" , *facepalm*....

Next time you're checking out of your local grocery store or pharmacy grab a $.99 travel bottle of Hand Sanitizer and keep it near your designated smoking area! This is a cheap, fast, and effective way to clean your hands in seconds!

Weapon of Choice:

Always smoke out of a CLEAN GLASS PIPE!!! Using a brand new or completely clean single hit glass hand pipe is the method used by the leading herbal connoisseurs and judges in cannabis festivals world wide. Why this is important is because the hand pipe delivers a clean, unfiltered, hit directly inhaled into the lungs allowing you to taste only what is being smoked.

* Water-Pipe Users:

Clean your tube and accessories regularly, do not allow for resin or scum to build up anywhere inside your tube, ash-catcher, down-stem or elsewhere. I recommend using 91% Rubbing Alcohol & Epson Salt or Orange Chronic Water Pipe Cleaner, either will do the job. For tough spots inside percs try using Grudge Off Super Soaker OVER NIGHT...soaking it will allow time for the cleaning agent to attach to the resin, use hot water to thoroughly rinse your tube...I clean mine in the bath tube (it's really the only place it fits nice enough)

Add new filtered water every use, store empty without water.

Selecting Your Herb:

Start with the best quality pot available to you. Remember it truly is quality over quantity with cannabis...I mean why would you ever put your lungs and health at risk smoking herb that was not grown or handled properly? It is my recommendation that you visit your family doctor before consuming cannabis in any form, and only purchase medication from a state licensed dispensary. For those of you in states without medical marijuana laws...grow your own!!!

Moving on...

Storage: Proper storage of your medicine or "crypt ass nugget" will reserve you clean, fresh herb all year long. I recommend using KERR masion jars, like the one I have here:

They have an air tight rubber seal which makes the difference in the long run. Popular jars such as 420 Jars and Tight Pac feature plastic seals, which are not 100% air tight. This small leakage of air is enough to easily turn even the dankest nugs into dry crumpling shake over night!

Cork Top Jar:

While storing your stash in a rubber seal jar is the best way to keep it fresh, a Cork Top Jar is also a great alternative and can be found anywhere from your local headshop to that lame Michaels Crafts store down the road. I own this PURE Cork Top and it works great:

Handling Your Herb:

Try to handle your herb as little as possible, resin glads aka thc falls off your nugs and are easily absorbed by human skin.

You want to smoke the tip of the nug last, slowly pick away at your nugs from the top saving the best for last.

Remember, proper storage and handling of your buds can make a HUGE difference in the quality of your smoke! Store your nugs in a cool dark place whenever possible, avoid exposing your herb to direct sunlight and heat, both of which can damage your trichomes and more importantly the quality of your medicine!

Grinders:

Once you've washed your hands, cleaned your favorite glass piece, and selected a few strains of premier ganja to enjoy, the next step I recommend is purchasing a herbal grinder. Cosmic and Spacecase are two brands I highly recommend, both are made from quality materials in the United States and are free of harmful chemicals or metal dust flakes that are sometimes found in foreign made grinders.

Packing A Bowl:

After you've ground your herb I recommend using a plastic gift card or small piece of plastic to scoop up some green from your grinder or table and place it in your bowl. Try to avoid using your fingers when possible as THC is easily absorbed into your skin. Tap the bowl GENTLY with your finger to make sure it's packed snug, but not tight. Packing a bowl too tight restricts air flow and causes the bowl to taste harsh and burns unevenly.

The Snap

Loading an individual hit or snap of herb is a great way to enjoy a fresh "green" hit every time! Simply load a small amount of freshly ground bud into your bowl and clear the entire bowl in a single toke! This way you and your friends will enjoy the great taste of your cannabis as well as eliminate carbon and other potentially dangerous chemicals from entering your body!

Lighting the Bowl:

If you're looking for the true connoisseurs experience it's time to toss that trusted BIC lighter aside and try one of the following:

Solar Hit: Simple enough, use a magnifying glass and the powerful rays of the sun to spark up a tasty bowl of dank herb!

Bee-Line Organic Hemp Rope: The following information and images were taken directly from the Bee Line website: Butane, sulpher, and flint from lighters are all highly poisonous and should not be inhaled. Studies have proven that long term inhalation of butane leads to serious lung, heart, liver, and kidney problems and is also very damaging to the brain and spinal cord. Soldering Iron: A method that is becoming more and more popular involves using a soldering iron to lightly burn your bowls. It must be noted that this method is for RESPONSIBLE ADULTS ONLY and that the use of a soldering iron may result in fire, permanent injury, or even death. Be careful and have fun, remember to NEVER leave the soldering iron unattended while on, completely unplug from the wall after every use to avoid serious accidents from happending.

Vaporize It!

A Vaporizer works by using heat to bring the temperature of cannabis to the point where it boils the active ingredient (THC) out of the cannabis without burning the plant material. The vapors that result are much cleaner and tastier than smoke, and much more potent as well. the vapors are free of tars and other unhealthy bi-products produced when the bud is burned instead of vaporized. There are countless practical and medical reasons to own a vaporizer, so if you get the chance to purchase one I highly recommend doing so!

Whether you are enjoying a joint inside a medical club or over at your trusted dealer's pad sampling his latest pick-ups, if you truly want to become a connoisseur of fine herb it is always important to keep yourself in line and behave appropriately. Linux (Ubuntu)

It's no secret to my friends, I am a nerd...I love computers and enjoy everything about them, that is part of the reason I have ditched Windows, apart from some compatibility issues here or there with Windows only programs (which can be worked out just with a little more time). Still, Ubuntu is great, I love it! I love electronics in general. Make fun of me.

Dope Dub is great to listen to I get so into the drops and shit when i'm blazed, it's just nice to only hear music sometimes and not singing, then again listening to some soft acoustic guitar or some sick rap like Tunechi is equally as great.
Bunny

That's right, I own a pet bunny, dude is chill as fuck (cept for chewing on fucking wires!!! Shit is so frustrating) but all in all I still love the little guy, He's my lil smokin buddy, plus my girlfriend who I live with gets annoying as fuck sometimes so it's nice to go kix it with my bunny dude, his name is Wayne.
Going Outside
Whether it's going on a walk down to the park, biking the trails or playing sports I enjoy it, this list is kind of decieving, makes me look like I sit at home all day but with work and other things to take up my time it's nice to get out and get some fresh air, and who doesn't enjoy a dank blunt in the grass on a warm summer night...if you don't. get off this blog.
