Obama is completely taking Gramm's words of context and changing it into his story. Do I hear a hypocrite?

Gramm is saying how once things became minorly bad, people started throwing out the word recession, perpetuating a problem that was saved for later. No one can argue against that because it is fact. If people think there is a recession, there is going to be a recession; it's simple as that.

Now Obama comes out and says this:

"He didn't say this but I guess what he meant was that it's a figment of your imagination, these high gas prices."

Wow, how did Obama make it through high school or college making these inferences? I doing the let me play stupid and pander to the people that are even more stupid than me. I'll let these feeble minded idiots into believing whatever I say.

I'll take a guess and say that Obama doesn't know what cause and effect are. High gas prices is a cause of what Gramm calls a 'mental recession,' and not reason for the "recession." And Obama doesn't seem to realize that gas prices hadn't started soaring when there was all this recession talk. How's that for being informed?

Jesse Jackson Says Obama "Talking Down" to Blacks

Jesse Jackson Says Obama "Talking Down" to Blacks

LOL! Jesse Jackson is one of the most arrogant people in history. He acts like he's entitled to speak for all black people and pretends he is in the their best interest. I don't even think black people like him. He jumps on everyone who says the word black and tries to make them racist, but says comments that are from a comedian.

He actively tries to interpret everything as racist, so he thinks Obama is "racist" also by painting Obama's speeches as preaching and talking down to black people. Is he referring to Obama trying to help the black community with advice? I think he should be commending Obama, but based on his logic, he should be encouraging black people to commit robbery.

I can't believe how stupid his comments are. Does this tax evading "minister" really expect Obama to talk about how he will bring down the white establishment? Obama is already under minor scrutiny for being related to terrorists and any comments like that might finally force the media to look at Obama's relation.

I was thinking, and if Jesse Jackson's goal of life is to help black people, why is he supporting someone that talks down to them?

Iraq Plays Tough: Troop Exit Timeline a Must

Iraq Presses US on Timeline for Troop Pullout

Wow, the arrogance of these people is astounding. First of all, the United States put these people in power. The U.S. is also letting these corrupt politicians do whatever they want. This whole war business is stupid. Bush's original plan included getting free oil from Iraq. Maybe if he had followed through with this plan, we wouldn't be paying 5 dollar gas.

In fact, the Iraq government should be offering oil to the United States for training soldiers and getting them tons of money. I can't even fathom how rude and selfish these people are.

How do they expect to have the country under control. If they hadn't noticed, most people in the army are in militia's already and would gladly blow someone up. All of their armed forces were trained by foreign soldiers or were formerly terrorists. And they think they are smart by acting so superior.

McCain Rips Obama's 'Pay or Play' Health Plan

McCain Rips Obama's 'Pay or Play' Health Plan

Finally the candidates get back to what they're suppose to do, attack the other's policies and not some silly statements made by someone else. I agree with McCain; Obama's health care policy is bad.

Not every employer out there is making 7 figures or more. There are plenty that make money in 5 digits or low 6 digits. Nobody should expect these people to pay for expensive health insurance. So where will the rest of the money come from? From the already 4 billion dollar debt. Good job trying to help the country. We're going back into the rut that will be even harder to get out of once we enter this national health care program.

People have to realize that health care costs so much because drugs cost so much money to develope, and there are not enough doctors. This is something to talk for other day; however, while I'm still talking about this, everyone is completely missing the point. The should not be trying to provide for the people but rather fix the whole health care problem.

Rafael Nadal Wins Wimbledon In Epic Match

Nadal outlasts Federer in epic to claim first Wimbledon title

I actually watched the whole thing from 6:00 to 1:00. After the last forehand that Federer hit into the net, I still couldn't believe it was actually over. I think they both had an equal amount of chances to win. Federer had many chances to break Nadal's server, but could only do it once. Nadal had a couple championship points in the third set, but Federer pulled off some amazing shots.

I seems like Nadal being fit really paid off. He ran around all over the place, and still had it in the end. He muscled a bunch of balls for winners and made as many unbelievable shots as Federer.

I looks like Federer's reign as the best player is over. He can't even beat Nadal on his best surface. His best chance now is to win on hard courts. I think he can win the U.S. Open, but if Nadal can learn hard courts as well as he can learn grass courts, Federer has serious troubles ahead. I expect him to win a major every couple years now.

Here are some interesting things to speculate on. What if there were no rain delays? Would Nadal have won in straight sets? Would Federer have won the fifth set? How much did the slip by Nadal prolong the match?

Related:

Nadal Wins French Open Again

Obama 'Puzzled' by Frenzy Over Iraq War Plan Comments

Obama 'Puzzled' by Frenzy Over Iraq War Plan Comments

I think this whole business is pretty stupid. Obama finally decides to take a closer look at his position and gets attacked. If he wants to change anything he gets attacked, even if it is for something good. This is why politics is stupid. If you say something absolute, you get attacked if you want to change anything about it. If you say something ambiguious, you get attacked for not being specific. It's a lose lose situation that only skilled politicians can navigate and that's why Obama is going to win.

I hope he refines his position, because we'll be screwed if we withdraw too soon. Millions more Iraqis will die and everyone will hate/blame us even more. I guess he finally realized how stupid his ideas were and has to change so he doesn't get owned later on.

I don't think the reporters were deliberately trying to help McCain, but rather trying to improve their pathetic careers by twisting the facts. We have to look at these things through the lens of an objective person. These people are probably not very famous, and they will take the chance to do anything to get into the news.

Related:

Who will you vote for in the 2008 U.S. presidental election?

Firefox is like Obama, Internet Explorer is like McCain

Why is Wesley Clark taking so much heat?

Stop With This Obama Is Change BullS***T

Review of Stargate Continuum [Spoilers]

I just watched it and even though it's pretty late for blogging (my brain shuts off after 10), I have to get some thoughts off my chest.

I thought it was more movie-like than Ark of Truth which was more like an extended episode. There were some nice cinematic elements that I liked though I would have liked to see some wide screen shots of the Arctic from above.

This movie felt like a classic Stargate storyline yet lacked what makes it so great, the wit. I hoped bringing back Richard Dean Anderson would solve the problem if the last 2 seasons, but RDA was only in the whole movie for 10 minutes.

So this is basically what happened. The real Baal makes a time machine and goes back to 1939 through the Stargate being transported by ship from Africa to America. SG-1 along with O'neill are attending a Tokra extraction process on the "last" clone of Baal, but people including Vala and Teal'c start disappearing due to the alteration of the timeline by the real Baal. O'neill is killed by the extraction thing, and Daniel, Carter, and Mitchell get through the gate.

To make a long story short, the Stargate program doesn't exist in the new timeline and the 3 aren't allowed to have anything to do with each other and are forced to live a normal life. Eventually, Baal attacks Earth with the full force of the system lords and SG-1 along with Teal'c save the day.

The ending of the movie is what I disliked the most. Like the episode Mobius, they save the real timeline, but either die in the alternate timeline or live out their lives in it. I wanted an ending like 1969 where they go back to the original timeline.

One thing that was great the "Indeed" that Teal'c used since it was the only one of the movie. Vala was mostly pointless since her true character never shone through all the Goa'uld evilness. I thought tying Mitchell back into the whole situation was great. [Spoiler: In the alternate timeline, Mitchell was the only one who survived]

Overall, I enjoyed the movie immensly and I hope they make more. More RDA please!

Let's try again!! - World will end in 2012 (or not...)

Will the World End in 2012?

I came across this and it is actually quite comical. Apparently hundreds or even thousands of people have bought into this myth that the world will end in 2012 because the Mayan calendar ends that year among the many other ridiculous reasons.

The more I think about this, I more I am coming to the conclusion that these are sick, delusion people with thoughts of grandeur. They want to rise up out of the ashes of humanity and reborn the earth. Excuse me, but I think life will suck when that happens. I would rather be dead

Here is a really stupid quote from some of these believer.

All this adds up, Geryl said, to unprecedented catastrophe. First, a polar reversal will cause the north to become the south and the sun to rise in the west. Shattering earthquakes, massive tidal waves and simultaneous volcanic eruptions will follow. Nuclear reactors will melt, buildings will crumble, and a cloud of volcanic dust will block out the sun for 40 years. Only the prepared will survive, Geryl said, and not even all of them.

Polar reversal? Sorry, but the poles are moving in such small increments that it will be millions of years before there is a complete reversal of poles. And how do you know exactly what will happen when they do reverse. Why would a nuclear reactor melt? How exactly would a building "crumble." That is so stupid that even a mental disabled person knows that that is impossible.

Hey, I know why he thinks the buildings will crumble; because all the electrical charges will flip and atoms will go flying. Wait, won't everything be destroyed?

Ok, so back to this Mayan calendar crap. There seems to all this hype about the Mayan calendar ending on 2012. Let's think about this for a minute. They made this calendar thousands of years ago. They must have had to stopped somewhere. It's not let something could keep writing 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 forever. Unfortunately, these idiots believe that the Mayans were able to write dates infinitely. This pretty much dispels their whole argument.

I have an idea. Someone should make a website to laugh at these 2012 losers where everyone can insult them for being gullible.

Who will you vote for in the 2008 U.S. presidental election?

Who will you vote for in the 2008 U.S. presidental election?
( polls)

Firefox is like Obama, Internet Explorer is like McCain

I was thinking last night, and this is the perfect example.

Firefox used to be unknown like Obama, but then started picking up users. Internet Explorer used to be the only browser used and had the same amount of users. McCain used to have way more than Obama just like before Firefox got popular.

Firefox was "new" and "cool" just like what people think of Obama. That's part of the reason why he is so popular. On the other hand, Internet Explorer never changed and was viewed as old and rigid like McCain.

So Firefox 3 rolls around, and users have been jumping on the bandwagon like most Obama supporters do with his campaign. There are still many Internet Explorer users like the loyal supporters of McCain, however, most people think these are just old people.

Just to throw this one out there, Opera is like Clinton, because it had better features and was based off the same idea, but couldn't get enough support because of bad marketing.

Blizzard Confirms Unannounced Fourth Game, Next-Gen MMO Not Diablo 3

Blizzard Confirms Unannounced Fourth Game, Next-Gen MMO Not Diablo 3

How much more money will they steal from people? I guess we'll find out.

It will be interesting to see if they make WOW for Starcraft or create a completely new realm. Starcraft may have limited options for races and classes though so it would be difficult to create. If it was done successfully, I'm sure it would be really cool. Hopefully it will be a little more real time like Age of Conan.

I would love to see a completely new series. Blizzard has shown great storytelling ability and I'm sure something original would not fail.

Related:
Starcraft II Looks Amazing
5 Reasons Why MMORPG's Are So Addicting

Starbucks to close 600 underperforming stores - Is this really a shock?

Coffee Crisis? Starbucks Closing 600 Stores

Oh no, 600 out of the thousands of stores will close!! Is the world ending? They're still great at siphoning money out of people and I'm sure no one is going to lose sleep over this - except for the employees at the stores.

This is really suprising to me. There are so many Starbucks everywhere, that one store will suffer while the other will bloom. That's what happens when you build 2 of the same exact store right beside each other, one is going to fail. I guess the people at Starbucks finally figured that one out.

Sick from Salmonella: Tomatoes May Not Be Culprit

Sick from Salmonella: Tomatoes May Not Be Culprit

Great...now they aren't sure if the tomatoes are giving people salmonella. Look at this Obama supporter's website. It has one of the most stupid statements I've ever seen.

"...he was merely rejecting an attack on Barack Obama leveled by Bob Schieffer."

This epitomizes stupidity. An attack? Merely pointing out a truthful statement. Republicans twist Clark's words and Democrats twist Schieffer's words. It's all the same stufff.

Watch the video as this idiot starts saying how Schieffer has bias toward McCain. Well sorry for noticing, but he's interviewing a FUCKING OBAMA SUPPORTER. What is he suppose to do? Ask Clark what he ate for breakfast? I bet this idiot has never watched the news or any other interview.

Oh wait, I know what he watches, the View and Oprah. Wait, let me rethink that. Based on his standards even the View is too hard hitting. This is called journalism. Don't make any more stupid, unimformed comments please. My IQ is going down every second I listen to this trash.

Thank you for reading my rant...

Why is Wesley Clark taking so much heat?

Obama Disowns Critique of McCain's Military Record

Read this quote from General Clark

"Well, I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president."

Is there anything wrong with saying this? It's a truthful statement. If someone gets captured, they aren't 100% qualified to be president. What the hell is wrong with that?!?! There's other things that are much more important than being shot down. Getting shot down really doesn't prove that you have what it takes to be president.

That being said, if people are jumping on Clark for saying that, they should be voting for Clark was a decorated general for many years. He's done way more McCain militarily and understands the military more also.

I hate it when idiots like those Republicans jump on statements on this. It's a perfectly reasonable comment, but they twisted it so it Clark is attacking the military. That being said, Obama doesn't have any military experience and the whole topic is irrelevant.

Starcraft II Looks Amazing

I think this image pretty much sums it up. Here's a quick rundown.

Hurricane in Burma

So first a hurricane hit Burma which is a very poor country and possibly killed 100,000 people. There is still not a solid number since many bodies have disintegrated in the water, etc. Burma is run by a bunch of Communists that like the hoard all the money, so aid took a long time to get to the people. Even then it was not adequate and the international community wanted to help. Unfortunately, these idiots didn't want foreign soldiers on their soil, so the U.S. had ships filled with stuff idling off the coast. Eventually they let aid in, but not before more people needlessly died.

Earthquake in China

A 7.9 earthquake in southwest China killed about 80,000 people. Many buildings have been destroyed and thousands have been displaced. China sent a bunch of soldiers to help, but from I saw on TV, they aren't very productive. There was 2 soldiers carrying 1 person on a stretcher and at least 5 more running beside them for no apparent reason.

Tornadoes across U.S.

So far, 110 people have died from many tornadoes in several states. It is possible this year will be the deadliest year of hurricanes. They just seem coming all the time. Some people are attributing this to global warming, but it's too early to tell.

Flood in Missouri

Huge storms overflowed the Mississippi River causing mass flooding across Missouri. The levees that were made to hold the water back failed, but there have been some semi-successful efforts for the army and residents to hold back the water.

Fires in California

Lighting from thunderstorms in northern California sparked the dry brush starting hundreds of fires stretching 450 miles. The firefighters are having trouble dealing with them due to the sheer amount of fires. If you think about it, the number of fires may seem overwhelming, but California is such a large state that the fires have a limited effect on the general landscape.

5 Reasons Why MMORPG's Are So Addicting

I'm sure that there are thousands of people right now that have been playing some random MMORPG for at least 15 hours straight. There are these kind of people for every video, but what makes MMORPG's different so normal people get hooked on them so much?

1. Everything Takes So Damn Long

The purpose of every game is to get to the highest level and get all the good items. In most cases it takes many hours to level up and progressively gets harder to level until you reach the highest level. After that, you near to get gear. To get the best gear, it takes even longer than the leveling process. In WOW, you have to work your way up to get gear that replaces your old gear. Basically, all your previous progress is obsolete. This makes people really fixated on leveling and getting gear, so they spend all their time doing it to

2. Only The Good Items Look Cool

This is one way to make players play more. They might not be cool in real life, but there are items in games that can make them look cool. Usually these items either cost a lot or take many hours to obtain. In other kinds of games, everyone looks the same, but in MMORPG's you can have a personalized look. This is the main way Nexon which made Maplestory gets money. All the cash shop items look awesome, so everyone buys them to look better.

3. Guild Hierarchy Make Players Feel Powerful

For the first time, in their lives, some players may feel like they have control over someone else. They might be in the second chain of command in their guild and can tell other guildies what to do. Others try to obtain this position by helping people in the guild as much as possible which is time consuming. They also try to have the best items thinking that will allow them to have a better position in the guild which takes a long time as well.

4. Competition

This cycle is not exclusive to MMORPG's, but the way that it works is differnt. In FPS, some people may have faster reflexes which allows them to be better without practicing as much. Most MMORPG's with the exception of a few require little skill. The only thing that is needed is time. People think that by playing more than everyone else, they will be the best. This makes someone want to play more than them. This cycle makes everyone continually want to play more than each other and eventually they play all day.

5. Fame

In real life, if you are rich, you get famous. In MMORPG's, you can get rich or have good gear to be famous. Some people might come up to someone and praise them for how good you are. This makes them feel good. To get more of this good feeling, they play more to get better gear or money. People might start talking about them which makes even more people know about them. Soon, this person is playing many hours a day to be the "best" player so they can be more famous.

Related:
Stargate Worlds MMORPG
5 Must Have Addons For Firefox
Firefox 3
5 Ways To Make Your Computer Faster
5 Ways To Keep Your Computer Safe

Obama and Clinton Are Friends Again...Not

Obama, Clinton Appeal for Democratic Unity in N.H.

I thought it was funny watching Hilary endorse Obama even though the only reason was so a Democrat would win and so she might have a chance to win next time. While some politicians might not care so much about losing, I really think that Clinton still thinks she could be a better president than Obama.

These are the Clintons. They like money and power. I don't think they have any morals, so the only motivation would be to become vice president and keep her name in the press. That being said, I think they would make a great team for the election, better than any the Republicans can come up with anyways.

Thinking of that, I have a wacky conspiracy theory to throw out. The Democrats planned a long drawn out primary campaign to get in the news as much as possible. Then both candidates get more attention and coverage which is really all that's needed to win the election. When the presidential election comes around, Obama picks Clinton and they win.

There are also numerous Clinton supporters that are not voting for Obama. Some are even voting for McCain. I believe it is one fifth of her supporters. I find this idiotic. Obama and Clinton are both Democrats and have pretty much the same position on everything. John McCain on the other hand is a Republican who has completely different ideals. They're polar opposites; why would someone want to support both?

In the back of my mind, I'm thinking that many of these people are racist. They claim that they are not, but the reason they give is that Obama will not help women as much. And McCain will help them?

Related:
Stop With This Obama Is Change BullS***T
Obama Also Lies
Clinton to End Historic Candidacy, Support Obama

Stop With This Obama Is Change BullS***T

Obama may want change, but HE IS NOT SPECIAL. Stop blabbering all this nonsense about Obama equaling change. It lowers my IQ. Obama, change we can believe in. Shut up!!! They say that lots of college graduates and "young" people support him. I guess that sums up our education system. They are churning out legions of narrow minded idiots.

Everyone that has ever wanted to be president wanted to change something. That's why they wanted to run. It's great if Obama wants to change things. So do I and so does John McCain. Change is not exclusive to certain people. There is not one person on this earth that does not want to change something. Hear that? Obama is not unique for wanting to change things.

I know I shattered the hearts of all the Obamabots that have just learned the sad truth, but here's something to look forward to. Maybe you can research the candidate you follow like sheep and learn what he really stands for, not just this change business.

They say that John McCain wishes to maintain the status quo, but that is a lie. Bush's policies may have succeeded if he had better advisers and staff. Obviously McCain is going to revamp the White House and bring in his own people. That's change right there.

Related:
A Look At Obama's Message of Change

Hey Look, Obama Eager to Distance Self from Campaign's Former Position on DC Handgun Ban

Story Here

Surprise surprise, Obama continues to be ambiguous so he can appeal to the Republicans and Democrats. From what he said, he contradicted himself several times

"I don’t know what my aide said but I’ve been very consistent, I teach constitutional law," Obama said.

Actually he hasn't said any answer with complete confidence. So far, he the answers given have either been a restatement of facts or completely offtopic. We already know that local laws and government laws may conflict with each other. We're not stupid and we know his statement is a lie. Sure is an honest person.

"What I said was that I believe 2nd Amendment as being an individual right and have said that consistently. I also think that individual right is constrained by the rights of the community to maintain issues with public safety. I don’t think those two principles are contradictory and in fact what I’ve been saying consistently is what the Supreme Court essentially said today."

Well no actually. I according to his own words, local gun laws can exist. In a question specifically the D.C gun law, this was his last sentence in his answer.

"We can have reasonable, thoughtful gun control measure that I think respect the Second Amendment and people’s traditions. "

Doesn't that seem like he supports he gun law? Or maybe he say that he meant gun laws in general. Whatever he says, this proves that he isn't a credible person. You might throw this article back at me and say "what about Don Imus?"

If you read my previous article, I said that Don Imus was stupid for his word choice for whatever he meant. Obama is a lawyer who is suppose to be smart. If he wanted to take a position, he could have as we've seen in all his speeches.

Related:
What's Up With Don Imus?
Hooray For Hypocrites Obama and McCain
Obama Also Lies
Muslims Barred From Seats Behind Obama

What's Up With Don Imus?

Don Imus Says He Was Making a 'Sarcastic Point'

This is ridiculous. If we had not known any previous information about Don Imus, the media would not be making such a big deal out of this. Since he has made previous comments that were spun to be racially insensitive, any remarks that could be made to seem racist are.

Without prior information, he would either be making a racist statement or his excuse is correct. I am 100% sure if a black DJ said this, everyone would assume he was talking about racial profiling. Because this is Don Imus, everyone assumes he means that black people like Pacman Jones get in trouble because they are black. The first incident got completely blown out of proportion, so I think we start at square one.

He is just a white, mildly funny, and vulgar DJ. There's no way we will ever know what he really meant by that, but what we do know for a fact is that regardless of what he says he meant, there are going to be people out there trying to bring him down. It's his fault really for saying such a stupid ambiguous statement.

U.N. Condemns Zimbabwean violence

Wow, the great United Nations said that Zimbabwe has no legitimate democracy. That's shocking. I actually found it surprising that Russia and China voted since they rig their own elections.

Oh no, what are they going to do about. Let me tell you, NOTHING. That's right, the U.N is going to do shit like usual and talk tough and take no action. All military actions done in a "joint" effort is actually They've shown the whole world that other nations can roll over them.

They told Iran to stop any nuclear progress and guess what happened. Nothing. The Iranians are still at it. They'll probably have a working warhead in a few years and the U.N. will do nothing. Hopefully Israel can deal with them before anything bad happens. They told North Korea to stop and now it seems like no one cares about them.

They claim to be against genocide, but certain members love oil and let crazy militants in Darfur run around a kill people for random reasons. The last time the U.N did something productive was the First Gulf War and even then it was the U.S pulling most of the weight. From the Congress of the Vienna to the League of Nations to the United Nations, every unilateral alliance of countries has utterly failed.

I think I'm going to write about a global community tomorrow.

Saudi Arabia Can Increase Oil Production - What's The Motivation?

Minister: Saudi Arabia Can Increase Oil Production

Well thanks...I guess you just noticed that we're screwed. This may help temporarily, but we don't even know the motive of the Saudis. They have plenty of other customers to sell oil to. I'm sure they would rather sell it to Russia or China rather than capitalist America.

My theory is that they want to me nice to the U.S. so they can continue harboring and training terrorists. Don't tell me they aren't because everyone knows what's going on.

This really isn't a problem until the next terrorist attack which probably happen in a couple years. The problem is that we can't rely on foreign oil forever.

We need to start producing cars and other machinery that use the least amount of fuel possible. As of now, this is impossible, because the auto makers have too great of an influence. Don't start with the bullshit about Obama or McCain fixing the problem, because they are as guilty of the next politician.

Hooray For Hypocrites Obama and McCain

Obama Raps McCain on Flood Prevention Programs

They just can't stop the blame game. They have to take every chance they get to attack each other even if it is at the cost of people losing everything they have. It's a shame that they have to take advantage of people so they can get more votes, but why would they care? They're rich politicians that have blind supporters. I see through all of this crap and hopefully you will also.

Obama says that McCain opposed a bill for water projects and McCain says that Obama opposed a bill that would have prioritized spending for flood control. In light of recent events, they were both wrong, but accusing the other is very stupid.

We know there are going to be natural disasters. I am sure there are going to be several large hurricanes this years, some tornadoes, and some fires. Are they going to pass legislation to prevent all of these? Hell no! You can't just go around throwing out huge sums of money to combat natural disasters. To those who say "Shouldn't we try to prevent what we know is going to happen?" The national debt is 9 trillion dollars.

Financially, it is not worth it to prevent all problems. People aren't going to start building houses made of thick steel in tornado alley or 20-foot thick levee 100 feet high. It is impractial and would cost billions of dollars.
