My opinions on this topic are extremely strong...more so than on other topics. The more "protected classes" there are, the more of a mockery we make of our Constitution and the judicial system as a whole. Don't ask don't tell is a protective device really. It's a policy that preserves the privacy of gay soldiers and keeps them safe from problems that will likely arise from gay soldiers serving openly in the military. More importantly, in order to understand why "Don't ask, don't tell" is vital to the sanctity of our military, you must understand the REAL reason why activists in the gay community want it to go away. Basically, if gay men and women serve openly in the military and "something" should happen to them......ANYTHING, they want not only the right to attribute it to their "gay" status...but also the right to be discharged at will for the same. If this vital legislation goes away, the first gay soldier who gets into an altercation for any reason is going to say it's due to sexual orientation. Even if it's not, they'll likely be able to file suit as a result of "discrimination", further exposing the military to losses. In addition, God forbid a soldier should get severely injured or even killed, or better yet even die in the line of fire, there's sure to be some claims that "he was not protected like the other soldiers due to the fact he was "openly gay". Then we introduce "hate crimes" into the mix and it will certainly be a mess. I can also guarantee my readers that gay soldiers who want to go home will fabricate "harassment situations" and make claims in a febrile attempt to be discharged from serving. It WILL happen, trust me.

Don't ask, don't tell had astounding support from both Republicans and Democrats. It was a Clinton policy! Now suddenly Liberals want to politicize the issue out of pure desperation to assure the gay vote. The simple reality ---- don't ask, don't tell is necessary and cannot go away without major revamping of the "what if something happens to gay soldiers" section. And why do other soldiers need to know about any other soldier's sexual preference? How about a new law titled: "Nice to know, NOT Need to know", whereby soldiers who share information of any kind that is not pertinent to "being a soldier" should be sanctioned in some way? Just a thought!

NPR gave a relatively generic statement about the termination, basically saying "Juan Williams' comments are inconsistent with NPR's views and values". You know, the same "views and values" that welcome comments such as "Bush is a mass-murderer" and Sarah Palin and The Tea Party Movement support radical racism. My biggest problem with this entire situation is the simple fact that NPR receives public dollars to promote radical liberal points of view and at the same time, promotes a blatant disregard for the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. The real issue here is NPR has been angry for many months about Juan Williams' obvious moderate views. Liberals HATE for any person who claims to be a Democrat to go out and actually agree - to any extent - with Conservatives. Juan Williams has had a huge target on his back since becoming affilliated with Fox News and that's the REAL reason why NPR terminated him. I say Congress should act immediately to pull this partisan organization from the "charity list" and let them get their funding from their "parent company"....you know....the DNC!!!

Where most people are left in the dark is on who is responsible for the foreclosure mess. When GMAC Mortgage and Chase came out to reveal that some foreclosures may have taken place without proper review, the vision of "paper pushers" came to mind. Even the mainstream media has reported that "executives in the banking sector" are simply allowing homes to be foreclosed upon without looking at documentation for accuracy review. People, this has NOTHING to do with the actual banks. In case you haven't picked up a newspaper in ten years, all bank foreclosures have one thing in common. THE PLAINTIFF. Yes, that's right, no matter what bank holds the note, one organization is listed as the Plaintiff in all foreclosure documents, and that's MERS. MERS is the Mortgage Electronic Registration System. Basically, it was put into place under the Clinton Administration to "streamline to process of mortgage servicing. Over the years, it has evolved into much more than that. MERS is bankrolled by a who's who of huge banking and investment firms...some you will recognize because they were the primary recipients of bailout money over a year ago. Fannie and Freddie, Merrill Lynch, GMAC, Countrywide Home Mortgage, Goldman just to name a few. When Barney Frank and company decided to force the mortgage banking industry into the MERS model, it also serves as a segway into mandating that these same lenders provide mortgages to "undeserving borrowers" to make homeownership a reality for ALL. MERS then became a virtual scoring system and tracking device for investors to wage bets by buying, selling and trading interests in mortgages within the MERS model. It all culminated with massive defaults and many of these lenders lost big. When foreclosures became necessary, MERS filed them all...many times without even listing the lender as the Plaintiff on the lawsuit. One legitimate argument is the fact that MERS has no legal right to file legal action against a homeowner without at least listing the bank as a Plaintiff. Due to the massive size of the MERS system (it virtually houses ALL mortgages in America), the company assigned the foreclosure lawsuits to clearinghouse lawfirms who often times filed with the courts and failed to properly serve the Defendants with paperwork. This usualy resulted in default judgments. Even when the Defendant was served with the actual complaint, nowhere in the body of the suit did it mention who was suing the Defendant, only listing MERS as the Plaintiff. In this instance, the homeowner has no idea who they are being sued by.

In the end, although nobody is reporting the story accurately, this is what will come out in the wash. Law 101: you can't file a legal action against anyone unless you have a legal claim and the losses sustained are YOURS. Well, MERS is not a licensed mortgage lender in ANY state in the United States, therefore they cannot be listed as the sole Plaintiff in a legal foreclosure action. You haven't heard the last of this situation and the primary reason why you haven't heard the story reported accurately is simple....the US Government and it's many banking partners are all part of this collossal failure called MERS, which will go down as the cause of this entire mortgage crisis....and you read it here first.

Charlie Baker is a success story. He is an educated businessman who made Harvard Pilgrim Health Care the enormous success that it is today. He has a long track record of fiscal responsibility, and regardless of Patrick and Cahill's false claims that Baker had anything to do with throwing money away on the "big dig project", truth be told, he was brought in on that project some 15 years after the money was thrown into the Charles River. There was no fixing that situation. Deval Patrick is a collossal failure when it comes to running the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has raised taxes on 8 occassions after vowing to "not raise taxes" as part of his many broken campaign promises. He has created one of the most bloated state budgets in the history of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts -- a state where government employees outearn private sector employees by almost 60%. State employees can also retire at the ripe old age of 55 in Massachusetts which is simply outrageous, given the size of most state pensions.

Massachusetts can't sustain this outrageous spending spree that Patrick and Cahill are enjoying at the expense of the local taxpayer, and to the burden of future generations. I have a good feeling that the voting public will elect Charlie Baker as the next Republican Governor of Massachusetts.

I personally find it amazing that Goldberg and Behar can't share the same stage with a man who was basically saying that Americans feel angry about the erection of a mosque in a place where muslim extremists murdered 3,000 innocent Americans. When they allow construction to begin on a new Christian center in downtown Baghdad, let me know. I don't think I'm alone when I say tolerance is a "two way street".

And if O'Donnell is so unqualified and such a "non-threat" to the liberal candidate, Coon, then why is the mainstream media so dedicated to this story. The answer is simple...they're afraid of any candidate who receives the endorsement of The Tea Party. Also interesting is their ability to rip apart this woman's past, particularly her finances. At a time when Americans are strapped in debt, over their proverbial heads in mortgages that oft times outweight the actual property's worth, God forbid a seemingly average person seeks political office. Someone who so very obviously knows what it's like to be trapped under heavy debt and seeking employment in a dreadful marketplace. I am not endorsing O'Donnell as a candidate, but I'm also not judging her for having a "not so great" financial record. Honestly, it makes her more representative of what's out there, including those whom she seeks to represent. Any other day of the week, the radical left is on the attack of anyone who enjoys fiscal success, labeling them "the wealthy elite". The bottome line is, no matter what the background, if the candidate poses a threat to the liberal agenda, the radical left will attack on every front, regardless of conviction. They're that inconsistent and certainly that misguided. If nothing else, it certainly will be interesting to see what happens in Delaware in November.

In Massachusetts, fiscally disadvantaged citizens can receive health insurance through the Commonwealth through a program called Mass Health. Basically, it's what liberals referred to as the "public option". Mass Health is a form of State sponsored Medicaid and LOTS of people get it. In fact, even illegals have been known to get some pretty comprenensive health care in Massachusetts through Mass Health, and why not. After all, State Attorney General Martha Coakley recently said: "It's not illegal to be illegal in Massachusetts". Perfect!

Under Medicaid sponsored Mass Health, women can receive pregnancy termination services. That's right, Bart Stupak! Even Baracks meaningless Executive Order banning abortions for government sponsored healthcare is useless in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. And the menu of services offered to those who don't work is virtually endless. For most recipients, there are no copays. If you make "too much money", the Commonwealth will terminate your coverage, basically giving PREFERENCE to those who don't work. Yet another liberally embraced program that penalizes success.

Massachusetts already has private insurance companies engaged in the practice of "government healthcare" as well, with companies like Fallon Community Healthcare, Harvard Vanguard and Neighborhood Health Plan providing privatized coverage for Mass Health recipients. Here again, we get into a situation whereby independent Americans are forced to do business with private corporations or they will be penalized. Basically, if you fail to purchase your own insurance (if you can afford it) or fail to enroll in Mass Health if you can't afford private coverage, the Commonwealth will keep your tax refund. It's outrageous really. The state has a similar law with regard to auto insurance, whereby every driver is forced to buy private insurance or they will be stripped of their license (they will refuse to renew it) and registration (revolked immediately upon insurance termination. Since healthcare and driving are "privileges", they should both be "at your own risk" endeavors. I carry supplemental coverage in the event that I am hit by an uninsured driver. If I want to drive, I understand that it's at my own risk and I am covered for that. When the state mandates that I do business with any number of the "crooked" insurance providers in the state, be it Geico or Progressive, I am FORCED to do it in order to drive or I can be arrested, my car can be impounded, etc. The same will happen with health insurance...it's already happening with the Commonwealth Treasury refusing to issue refunds to people who refuse to purchase private sector insurance. UNCONSTITUTIONAL. It's that simple.

In a nutshell, the National Health Care Bill needs to be repealled immediately before all of the impositions being felt in Massachusetts become the Law of the Land!

Yesterday, a California judge virtually rendered the voice of the voter nonexistent by deeming same sex marriage "legal" in the state. This after proposition 8 was supported by California voters, which made same sex marriage illegal last year. What next? So I guess any time the voters speak, ONE person...an politically appointed person at that, can nulify the voice of the American voter by reversing the outcome of a referendum??? Simply amazing.

Today, the news gets worse, as General Motors handed (re: laundered) an estimated $40,000 dollars to the Congressional Black Caucus. For what, I am unsure, but if I was "guessing", I would say it's payback for the generous stimulus dollars that were handed to the company. Amazing that the free enterprise system worked just fine for Ford, but General Motors needed a handout from the American taxpayer, and here they are filtering the same funds to ONE political arm of the United States Congress. How is this even legal? Why is this NOT misapropriation of government funds?

And what happened to professionalism in the United States Senate. Today, while Senator McConnell was addressing the Senate, he was mocked by gimicky Senator Al Franken. He rolled his eyes, made faces....basically carrying on like a ten year old. What ever happened to sanctions? I guess it's a virtual free-for-all for Democrats these days.

Elena Kagan was confirmed today. That item speaks for itself really. Isn't it fitting that our most unqualified President in history has pushed throught the confirmation of the thinnest resume to ever hit the high court? In a word...disgusting.

The Health Care Bill is a hot issue right now, particularly in Virginia where the Attorney General is pushing a Federal lawsuit asking a judge to deem this mandate of coverage as a personal freedom violation. Let's face it, that's exactly what it is. And when the Federal Government is in the business of owning private corporations, why should any American be forced to do business with ANY private company? If you are "forced" to buy an insurance policy from Blue Cross, I'd say that's GOOD for Blue Cross, and any politician who pushed the mandate will be certain to get a nice "payday" for the business referral!!! This simply can't be legal. While we're at it, let's start a mandate that every American has to drink a gallon of milk a day. Hey, it's a great source of calcium...and the Milk industry would love it, I'm sure!!! It's amazing that some people find the American flag "offensive" to the point that kids are refusing to salute it, yet we can "force" someone to honor "Blue Cross"!!!

In the Gulf of Mexico, BP has taken over operations of our Coast Guard apparently. Thad Allan is now spitting out the same lies as BP executives by saying "the oil is gone". Impossible, but people are buying into it and who wouldn't given the mainstream media's coverage of how The Obama Administration forced BP to get the job done. I wish Barack would have a "mission accomplished" moment. Wouldn't it be lovely for he and his family to take yet another vacation..this time to the coast of Louisianna. I can see it now. Barack and Michelle deep-sea fishing...and Barack reels in a big old oil-infested fish. Just saying!!! Newsflash for everyone...the oil is NOT gone. I predict Obama will be out next week with some numbers on how many fish were "created or saved" in the cleanup process!!!!

Finally, yet another activist Federal judge killed the Arizona imigration law before it was ever allowed to be enforced. Again, another example of big huge government taking a state and rendering it's governance useless by virtue of bullying, when in fact this administration refuses to protect the interests of the citizens of Arizona. Enough is enough.

The NAACP, who was the only body to have the entire video of this speech actually came out yesterday and condemned Sherrod. In addition to this, the only broadcast newsperson who came to her defense was....BECK. That's right, he suggested on his show yesterday the the White House and the Secretary of the USDA, along with the officials at the NAACP had acted as they usually do in these instances...prematurely. Today, the mainstream media has somehow turned this story around, claiming that Glenn Beck destroyed this woman's career and that the only reason for her termination was "the conservative media". WHAT??

Perhaps as a token of appreciation for her years of racial prejudice towards white people, Robert Gibbs handed her a huge gift....a slam dunk wrongfull termination lawsuit. Yes, this idiot actually came out and rendered an apology to Sherrod, saying basically that she was in fact "wrongfully terminated". So folks, let me give you the scoop on what you will likely see in the next week:

1. Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson will show up at a press event with Sherrod any day now.
2. The NAACP will claim that they too were "dooped", regardless of the fact that only they had the full video.
3. The media, along with Fox, will completely sympathize with this woman, an admitted racist, for fear that they too will be labeled "racists".
4. Sherrod will refuse the new job post as offered by the White House and instead she will "lawyer up" just as she did when she won a multi-party lawsuit against the Federal Government for millions, of which she reportedly was paid $300,000 herself.
5. Sherrod will likely be represented by a high profile black attorney because, well shouldn't you be represented by "your own".

What should bother people about this tape is not just the language that Sherrod used, but the fact that she laughed as she referred to her racial maneuvers. In addition, the crowd laughed as well, proving further that it's okay to discriminate against white people when it comes to those who follow the NAACP. Had those same statements been made by a white government official, regardless of the ending of the speech, that person wouldn't have just been terminated. It would have been the end of that person's life, literally. Now maybe Ms. Sherrod can understand how being labelled a "racist" can alter anyone's existence forever. Ask Trent Lott who never said a racist word yet was forced to resign for how some people "misinterpreted" his words.

Even the earliest settlers came to what was referred to as "the new world" to create something that was not at all like where they came from. They came to work hard, succeed, and prosper. It's what encouraged early Americans to be entrepreneural....adventurous....and most of all, it's what made America one of the top producers in the world. Today, we have become the exact opposite. People come here to "receive", not to "contribute". And what bothers me the most is how we have somehow lost our place in the world and have blended in with the masses in this outrageous "global economy". Did you ever think you'd live to see the day when we became a "consumer" nation? We produce vitually nothing and the reason is simple. Industry has been taxes and penalized so heavily and labor unions have driven labor costs through the roof making it less than desireable to produce goods here. We have priced ourselves out of the market literally. Now Barack wants to put even more restrictions on Corporations who produce goods which will lead to another mass exodus of sorts.

Then there's the problem with immigration. It used to be that people came to America to be a part of that dream. Now, it has become a place to come, work for a while, and take your money back to your "home country". No longer do you see people building towards a future here in America...they're too busy plotting the escape back home. What's that all about? Just last week, I spoke to some people from Brazil who said they came here to work and raise enough money to go back to Brazil. Wonderful! Not exactly the "American Dream" as I recall it. And when people come here with the predetermination that they will soon leave, they are completely disloyal to improving America and very loyal to their home country. For instance, I can't tell you how many times in the last 5 years alone I have listened to scholars from Harvard, Yale, etc. pleading to the masses about how bad things are "somewhere else" and how it's our responsibility to do something about it. IT'S NOT. As a matter of fact, if you're so concerned with how they are stoning people in Iran, well then go back to your country and fight for change. You'll likely be killed in the process, but that's the story behind every great country. My point being, this is what tends to get us into trouble. Inhumane treatment in some muslim country leads to our getting involved, leads to muslims getting outraged about the United States intervention...leads to those folks perpetrating terror acts against our people...and welcome to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. And everyone likes to point the finger at Republicans when it comes to any war, but it's the social intervention and humanity missions that lead to American soldiers having to be in these third world countries. The simple presence of our military in any muslim nation is enough for the radical islam folks to attack us. As terrible as it sounds, if they're stoning people to death in Iran, we can't stop that. We can't be the world police when it comes to those issues. Strong people rise above just as Americans revolted against the British. Sadly, I don't think you'll ever see this type of revolt in that part of the world, but I also think we need to think about what caused these loons to attack us on 911. It had nothing to do with Bush, that's for sure. He just happened to be the unlucky guy in office at the time. Muslims hated the US presence in their back yard. They attacked the USS Cole during the Clinton Administration. They attacked the World Trade the first time during the Clinton Administration. Clinton was obsessed with intervening in the "humanity issues" in that region.

The only way to get America back on track is to worry about America. When we are attacked, we should obviously retaliate and win which is what I believe strongly we are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan now. We need to get the job done and get out. And domestically, we need to cut entitlements almost across the board and make everyone accountable, as "giveaways" only serve to weaken Americans by giving them incentive for doing virtually nothing. And for those who wish to come to America, they will know they must work hard to achieve, and that a "pulse" is no prerequisite to a "free lunch". The Federal Government needs to be drastically downsized so private industry does not have to compete with them. This along with tax incentives for large scale job creation and cutting payroll tax will only serve to help America become the world's leader in production once again.

Let me begin by outlining some of the largest areas of private corporate interests and connecting them with the Liberal agenda. Let me start with the Health Care Industry. Yes folks...it is an INDUSTRY, contrary to this Administration's claims that it is a Health Care SYSTEM. When the Federal Government takes over this massive industry, there are some folks who are going to become filthy rich. Basically, I would suggest that the Pharmaceutical Industry is going to make out pretty well with this new socialized medicine agenda. How you ask? Well, if you take and add millions of people to the mix of folks with health coverage, you will essentially be adding millions of people to the long list of prescription drug users. Imagine profiting from an industry where the Federal Government is paying for prescriptions? I estimate that profits in this industry will skyrocket just in the first two years after the Universal Health Care Program takes affect. And when virtually every aging babyboomer is insured by the Feds, imagine the influx of medications that will be required to treat this population? So congrats to the Pharma Corps. Your massive donations to the Democratic Party have paid off...good for you!

I'll stay on Health Care for a moment and discuss the medical imaging sector. Or for simplicity let's just call this "General Electric". Yes, the same GE whose CEO has visited the President more than almost anyone. The number of people having MRI's and CT Scans will increase drastically under this new policy, with Uncle Sam picking up the bill. Due to this, hospitals will be forced to buy even more imaging equipment, and many satellite facilities will surely pop up over the next decade. And you guessed it, General Electric will reap the benefits of the equipment sales since they manufacture virtually everything in this industry with some exceptions. In addition to this, General Electric reportedly has a preliminary contract with the Federal Government to provide computer record keeping software and systems so that everyone's medical information can be readily available. Yes, that's all we need is more people (and Federal employees no less) having access to our private medical records. Wonderful.

How about the "energy" industry. More specifically, the "green energy" business. These companies are deeply involved with the Liberal masses, and with wind farms coming to the lovely Nantuckett Sound of Massachusetts, among other places, they'll profit massively as well. I guess this is great news for Al Gore, who has become a billionaire by pimping out this industry's propoganda. I don't imagine these companies are dishing out the big bucks to get a Conservative elected!!

And let's not forget the Entertainment business. Hollywood has thrown a lot of money at Liberal candidates for years, but now that General Electric, Viacom and The Walt Disney Company OWN the network news, it's like having "state television" literally. GE's MSNBC sent it's most liberal idiot, Rachael Maddow, to Afghanistan this week, where she has been reporting on how our military is "abusing muslims" and "mistreating detainees". Apparently yet another fool who has a short memory when it comes to recalling the site of two massive New York buildings collapsing with thousands of innocent Americans.

This radically liberal Administration now has the American people vested in the Automotive Industry with Chrysler and GM...in the banking business with too many institutions to list, and in the Insurance Industry with AIG. In addition, Federal employees are out-earning private sector employees by some 40% when you compare a job by job analysis. How exactly does the private sector grow jobs and revitalize an economy when they have to compete with the power of the US tax payer's money collectively? And with the high cost of private insurance, who can compete with the Federal Employees benefits package which has the cheapest and best health insurance, along with many other perks?

So next time you hear the Liberal mouthpieces calling Republicans "corporate friendly", know that the Democrats have far more friends in high places, and the only reason they are pushing entitlements is to gain the support of the masses while coincidentally providing the GE's and the Pfeizers with phenomenal profit potential by virtue of becoming their biggest consumers.

Q: Ms. Kagan, do you support same-sex marriage?

Q: Ms. Kagan, is there ANYTHING you disagree with President Obama on? Anything at all, just say it. Anything?

Q: Do you feel that it is better for soldiers' morale to know about one another's sexuality?

Q: Can you site for me anything on your resume that makes you more qualified than anyone else to perform the duties of a Supreme Court Justice?

Q: What are your thoughts on family values and the importance of said values to a strong America?

Q: Do you believe that America is still "one nation under God"?

Q: What duties have you performed at Harvard University make you qualified to perform the duties of a Supreme Court Justice?

Q: Who's cuter, John Roberts or Sonya Sotomayor?

Q: Are you smarter than, say, a "wise latina woman"?

Q: What's your favorite Joe Biden screw-up?

Q: How will you react when Rahm Emanuel approaches you in the gym to influence on of your decisions?

Q: How many conservative politicians have been produced by Harvard Law School?

Q: Do you feel that states have the right to protect their own interests when the Federal Government fails to do so for them?

Q: With a black president and a predominantly black Federal Government workforce that is currently making some 75% higher wages than the private sector, is it time to re-examine the need for Affirmative Action?

Q: Is it acceptable for children to be encouraged to Pledge Allegiance to the United States flag at the start of each public school day?

Q: Is Health Care a "right" or a "privilege"?

Q: Should United States Senators and Congressman be allowed to work for lobbying firms within 5 years of leaving public office?

Q: Should the United States Government be able to participate in private sector industries that they too have regulatory responsibilities over? (ie: automotive, insurance, banking)

Q: Why did you site an activist, radical liberal Israeli judge as one of your biggest "idols"? Was this your Mao Tse Tung moment???

Please, if anyone in the United States Senate wishes to use any of my questions, I can endorse them!

Senator Byrd was a card-carrying member of the Klan. He departed from the "organization" as this affiliation was not helpful to him politically. He hails from the state of West Virginia, which truth be told hasn't progressed much at all since the industrial revolution. It has one of the worst education systems in the nation, and the poverty levels there rival some third world countries. But through it all, Senator Byrd managed to have virtually every major road, building, bridge and government-funded pork project named after - you guessed it - HIM. Most recently, the National Radio Observatory in Green Bank, WV was rededicated to Byrd and he was "wheeled in" for the occasion.

This man served an outrageous 58 years in both the House and Senate. Yes, Alaska became a state on the same day he became a Congressman. So as the poor folks of rural Appalachia sing his praises for....well, for what I have no idea given that their lives have not gotten any better as a result of his politics...I have a new optimism for West Virginia and our nation in general, for the celebration of years and years of mediocrity has come to a conclusion. In fact, the Senate should celebrate his life by signing into law the "Robert Byrd Term Limitations Act". Now let's hope the Governor of West Virginia doesn't have any conversation with Rahm Emanuel before appointing Byrd's replacement.

I looked over them carefully, wondering who exactly was asking. Given my strong support for certain political figures, most of whom tend to be Conservatives, it became clear to me that it was no accident that most of them came from Liberals. I guess it's true what they say...those who disagree most tend to be more tuned into what you say in opposition. I typically try to respond to each and every email I am sent, but this time, given the number, I have elected to respond by giving my readers a total approach to where I am coming from on the issues that they seem to care about most.

Let me start with Immigration. I believe America was an amazing concept before it became the greatest country known to man. I also believe immigrants made that possible. My family came to America in many ways. Some came from Europe with a dream of contributing to the American story while coincidentally accomplishing their dreams of prosperity. They came here with trades, skills and ambition and understood that learning to speak English was a must if they wanted to communicate effectively. They brought their cultural originality without imposing it upon others. They respected the foundation upon which the country was built so much so that they left everything behind in an effort to help build upon something great here. Today, some immigrants still embrace these values, however it is becoming increasingly more popular to come here to "receive" rather than to contribute to this nation's greatness. Many immigrants come here with the knowledge that America has become the land of the "give-aways". Social services including free health care, food assistance, housing assistance and other programs are inundated with immigrant recipients. Most of these people have been on these systems since the very day they came here and many of these people are not even here legally. Our own President, Barack Obama has an aunt who has been on social assistance, receiving free food, utilities and housing and SHE'S AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT. In addition, these folks force municipal assistance offices to provide translation services as they do not speak English. Well here's where I stand on immigration:

If America had a proper process much like other countries including New Zealand and Australia, there would be no immigrants without jobs. Basically, in an age where the internet makes employment opportunities accessible at the stroke of a key, the Federal Government should have a system in place whereby those who can come here with the guarantee of employment should be granted a work visa for a period of no less than two years, at which time if they continue to hold an employment status and establish themselves in the community, they should become eligible for citizenship.

And speaking of "immigration", let it be known that I do support Arizona's efforts to buckle down on illegals. When the Federal Government turns a blind eye on any state and the saftety and security of its citizens, the state must then take matters into their own hands. The same can be said about Louisiana Governor Jindal. This administration has done NOTHING to protect the shores of his state from BP's oil, so when Jindal moved to position barges off shore to keep the oil away, that was the right move. The US Coast Guard used every maneuver to block these protective initiatives which is just wrong, plain and simple.

With regard to States and their power, I believe firmly that any state has the right to pass laws that protect the interests of their particular state, especially when the Federal Government has no such laws protecting these interests, OR if the Feds refuse to protect under existing Federal laws. With that said, issues like "Same Sex Marriage" should be left up to the states, and should be voted on by the registered voting public in that state, and NEVER should these issues be tied up in our Federal Courts. If a lesbian couple in Texas wants to be married legally...THEY SHOULD MOVE TO MASSACHUSETTS WHERE IT'S LEGAL. If you don't want to pay sales tax on goods, MOVE TO NEW HAMPSHIRE. If you don't want to pay state income tax, MOVE TO FLORIDA. We can't federally mandate everything to the point where there is nothing that makes a state unique other that geography. In the South, there are deep rooted cultural differences that would be greatly compromised if say "California-based" agendas were forced upon them. Imagine if the Federal government made same sex marriage legal. This would certainly impede upon the Christian values of the citizens of most Southern states. So in a nut shell, yes, the Constitutional Mom believes in the individuality of States as a vital component to a diverse America.

On social programs, let me just say this. Whenever you "hand" something to anyone, it devalues that component. If you give someone Health Care, it nullifies the value to working to pay for health care. It devalues the work of the physician by making his services virtually valueless. With housing, if you are given housing, you will have NO VALUE for what it takes to actually OWN a home. Social programs weaken society. They are the great destructor of self-worth and should be used sparingly, and on a purely transitional basis to bridge the gap between job loss only. THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE ON THAT.

I hope this has answered some of the questions of my readers, many of whom have written very negatively about my attacks on entitlements. Because I believe in America that the only thing we are truly "entitled" to is our Constitutional rights. With that foundation, the rest will fall into place for anyone who values freedom, and success WILL happen for anyone who is willing to work for it.

As Henry Waxman tries to act as angry as he can possibly be, while looking like one of the "who" characters from a Doctor Seuss movie, I wonder what came from the last grilling of corporate executives. Like AIG officials who continue to collect huge bonuses and squander tax-payer dollars on elaborate conferences around the world. I guess they solved that issue. Or how about Goldmann's involvement in virtually every fiscal scheme in the last 15 years. It seems like yesterday when they were on the hot seat as political leaders vowed to "get to the bottom of this issue".

Truth be told, these hearings are nothing but a political show...a promotional infomercial of sorts to elevate the status of egotistical Congressmen who are ten times more incompetent than those who they ridicule. At the cost of literally millions of dollars to put on these shows, Congressmen like Ed Markey of Massachusetts can push their climate change agendas on the back of this epic disaster in the Gulf. At the same time, they can portray a division between government officials and corporate leaders like Tony Hayward from BP - who quite honestly is more suitable to be the next annoyingly smug British judge on a reality series
In a purely political move, he used the Oval Office as the backdrop to promoting reckless Cap and Tax initiatives on the back of this tragedy. Truly shameless if you ask me. As millions of gallons of oil pollute the lovely Gulf of Mexico waters each and every day, he made the comment that "we should be able to clean up to 80,000 gallons a day by mid-July. This news is hardly encouraging given that there are MILLIONS of gallons spilling out every day. Still we are relying on BP to provide these "estimates" of exactly what is leaking and the EPA remains in a "reactive" mode rather than a "protective" one. Boy, and all this time, I was under the impression that the "P" in EPA stood for PROTECTION!!!

Obama's answer is to rip money from the hands of BP so the White House can appoint yet another "Czar" who will oversee the distribution of these funds. I can see the criminal activity already! And all of this happens on the face of hurricane season. Just yesterday, Obama assured Floridians that their beaches are safe, along with the fish that come from the Gulf. So now he is able to predict what a large hurricane or many of them for that matter can do to the oil in the Gulf. As a common-sense individual, I can assure you that even a moderate hurricane will surely redistribute the oil and wash it upon the shores with fury. And that's a fact. You'd think with all of the "redistributing" of wealth that this president has been responsible for thusfar that he'd know a bit about how destructive that can be.

Yesterday, one crew took a three hour lunch break on the Mississippi shores after working for a grueling 45 minutes, and today there was a disturbing scene in Louisiana where a beach was covered in tar balls and regardless of the many trucks and cleaning equipment on the shore, there wasn't a single person to operate them. This all prompts one question from me: "Where's the ass-kicking?". In an interview with the Obama Administration's "virtual subsidiary" General Electric's NBC News, Barack told Matt Lauer that he was gathering all of the information he needed and reserving his anger until he knows "who's ass to kick". Well, bend over BP, because if any of this is true, you've got a swift one comming to you!

This is obviously more empty rhetoric from the king of empty threats. As we see what I believe to be very limited and selective coverage at best, there is a massive amount of oil churning in the Gulf of Mexico and BP is still in charge of everything. In a political climate where incompetence is the norm, maybe it's only fitting that the same rules of "who gives a rat's ass" should dominate the private sector as well. As fisherman all over the gulf reel in their blue plate special of Quaker State Shrimp, BP is requiring them to fill out some 700+ pages of documentation in order to make a claim for recovery of damages due to the spill. And did I also mention that oil is still gushing into the Gulf of Mexico? So where are all of the activists? Where is Al Gore, Mr. Environment? How about the Hollywood liberals who claim to be "animal rights activists". I guess since there are no tiny dogs dressed in designer clothing who are affected by this disaster, there's no need for their intervention. Or how about Bono? I guess the World Cup was a more important venue for his philanthropic good deeds.

Folks, BP was a major contributor to the Obama campaign and I hardly find it coincidental that Barack is taking a back seat on this one. I guess you just don't bite the hand that feeds you! I just hope everyone likes their shrimp blackened!!!

In a press conference on Thursday, Obama was carefull to explain that the events leading to this deregulated mess happened "long before I got here" and even going further to suggest that "cozy relationships between big oil executives and the previous administration" was a causative factor here. Give me a break. BP has been issued drilling permits for literally years...long before Bush. This situation that occurred in the Gulf was a result of aggressive drilling...drilling that was performed at a rate far to fast for there NOT to be a failure. The aggressive drilling began reportedly in March and April, leading to a large aspect of the drill mechanism to break off and cause the breach in the well. This would fall under the tenure of the current administration and their inspection procedures....not the Bush administration.

And let's talk about Bush, shall we. When a "natural disaster" happened in Louisiana...one that Bush had NO control over obviously, and one that we knew was comming for some 5 DAYS in advance....people refused to leave and many died, they still blamed Bush. Remember Hurricane Katrina? Bush didn't react fast enough. The Mayor of New Orleans left thousands of municipal busses on lots while people stayed in the area...the good citizens of New Orleans rewarded him by re-electing him to the post. The critics were harsh on Bush, even going as far to say "GEORGE BUSH HATES BLACK PEOPLE". So shall we gather from this incident in the Gulf which by the way took the president over a month to react to....and he STILL hasn't engaged the government in the clean-up or the stopping of the leak....maybe Barack Obama hates black people?

The truth is, Barack and friends have no idea how to react to this disaster because they're too busy "fundamentally changing" the way Washington does business. You know, by offering jobs to political candidates to "drop out of races" so they can hand-pick who they want in the House and Senate. Now this is interesting given that it certainly is similar to the Blago controversy in Chicago...and it involves many of the same players, like Barack and Rahm Emanuel for instance. Now the White House reports that it was a "non-paying" job, conveniently eliminating the "Pay for Play" accusation from the equation. So maybe I'll play along with this "Blame Bush" strategy for a minute...seems fun enough. Maybe Arlen Spector lost his political credibility because he was a Repulican when Bush was elected and perhaps the perception that he may agree sometimes with Bush devastated his political capital, thus causing Rahm Emanuel -years later- to be "forced" to offer a job to a contender, thus allowing Spector the opportunity to continue his "work for the people" initiatives. On a Monday, a stock like General Electric can lose 5% of its value, only to gain 8% on the next trading day and it really has me wondering one thing...HOW THE HELL IS THIS POSSIBLE? What can happen in the course of 24 hours to justify a corporation's worth to gain or lose value to these extremes? The only answer I have is, it's all a joke. That's right, just one big cruel joke on the millions of blind investors who lay it all on the table for these major corporations, led my greedy, self-serving executives.

General Electric is a corporation that has long been admired for its innovative manufacturing sector. Now, they are widely known for owning the most liberal arm of the mainstream media...NBC Univerasal. So not only do they perpetrate their stock out there to the general buying public, they can also do a lot of interesting things to market it. Take for instance pushing wind energy on any number of their major network television and cable channels. I personally have witnessed an entire week of television on NBC dedicated to "Green Energy" to the point where the story lines and dialogue for the week of episodic programming was written to make "Green Energy" the star of every show. In a nutshell, one could call it a week long "product placement" fiasco.

Oh, and it gets worse. The CEO of General Electric has a frequent visitors pass to the Oval Office. Yes, Jeff Immelt has met with President Obama more than almost any other private sector executive...with the exception of Andy Stern of course. He has met with Immelt on more occassions than the two major Generals heading the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. And why not, I mean when your administration has two huge initiatives that directly impact General Electric's bottom line, your guy must have a frequent flyer card to the White House. General Electric has a major Health Care Information Technology sector that is reportedly in line to be the sole provider of electronic medical records keeping when Uncle Sam takes over the Health Care Industry. In addition, now that Deval Patrick has worked his magic in Massachusetts and virutally sold out the beautiful Cape Cod coastline to "wind energy", General Electric is in line there as well, as the primary provider of wind turbine products. How convenient! It would be interesting to know if Barack and Company are vested in General Electric stock. I've got a good feeling that they'll make out pretty well on it in the future. In the real world of "fair market initiatives", one might think General Electric's stock in greatly undervalued given what I just outlined. Not so fast. You see, General Electric is behind a whole lot of other things that you may have heard about in the last two years. Remember Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Or how about Bear Stearns? Yes, those collossal failures were in a little business venture with General Electric involving toxic mortgages. So if you're on the inside of General Electric, you'd understand what has driven the stock to dive from $35 dollars a share to a dismal $15. Unfortunately for the common stock holder, much of what General Electric does is a mystery, but I'm going to lay it out for you in simple terms, so you see the dangers for yourself.

A DAY IN THE LIFE WITH GENERAL ELECTRIC: I wake up in the morning and turn on the TV to watch the Today Show. As my toast pops up from my General Electric appliance, I go into my GE refridgerator to get some butter. I eat my breakfast before going to a doctor's appointment for an MRI, made by none other than GE. My results are entered into a computer system whose information is tracked by GE. I leave the doctor's office and go to the mall where I put some items on my Best Buy card, underwritten by GEMB, yes, General Electric Money Bank. Then I get a call from a friend who has just lost her home to forclosure by a firm named MERS, a General Electric Financial affilliate. Then I retreat back home to my lovely Cape Cod escape where I mix a drink in my GE blender and watch the tide come in, with the vision of enormous windmills across the once-lovely Nantuckett Sound...provided by - you guessed it - General Electric.

This is Wall Street. Huge corporations that capitalize on the average American at every turn, yet rely upon us for everything. And when their stock is about to crash and burn, the average shareholder is the absolute LAST person to know about it. Something's just not right in the water if you ask me. But hey, I'm sure General Electric makes a purifier for that!!!!

Let's take a moment to honor this man of convictions. This man who embraced conservative values for decades until he realized he could no longer gain the voter support of Republicans. So he did what all men with dignity do....he became a Democrat. He abandoned his life work to team up with those who opposed him for years. And in return, he got...well, he got nothing. He lost his friends on the right side of the aisle, only to realize that the lefties just didn't trust a switch-hitter after all.

You know, Karma is a real bitch sometimes. When the stock market was crashing and AIG, Bear Stearns and others were collapsing, what was Arlen Spector doing? Well, he was spearheading a vital campaign of course....to investigate the New England Patriots for allegedly using video cameras to spy on his beloved Pittsburg Steelers in the playoffs two years earlier. Well Mr. Spector, this ought to be a lesson in Karma for you....NEVER MESS WITH PATRIOTS!!!

As oil continues to erupt into the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, the Environmental Protection Agency has done virtually nothing. In addition, it has taken CBS News and it's 60 Minutes crack team to expose some of the most incriminating information regarding the reckless events that led to this disaster. Now I'm no expert on environmental disasters, but shouldn't an Agency with the word "Protection" in it do just that? BP, along with virtually every other major oil company with a presence in the Gulf has taken control of this disaster from every aspect. They caused it by allegedly drilling at a speed considered to be so dangerous, it caused a major component of the drilling mechanism to break into pieces, thus rendering the vital valve closure pump useless. For some reason, oil companies are free to participate in such reckless behavior because there is no "Protective" device offered by the federal regulatory bodies to stop such a practice. The basically do as they wish, without consequences typically, and without remorse. Eleven people died on this platform and sadly most have forgotten about that too, moving on to worries of wildlife and environmental issues. As this occurs, we now find that BP has been dumping mass quantities of Toxins into the ocean...toxins that, along with the oil, deplete the ocean and its vital living organisms of oxygen. Again, the EPA was aware of this and actually endorsed the practice, but today finally asked BP to "cut down the use to a lower level". This Toxic liquid was banned already in Great Britain as it posed great risk to the shell fishing industry, but I guess that's not such a bad thing for a region that relies heavily on....SHRIMPING.

The bottom line....the Obama administration has done NOTHING to hold BP accountable. Today, the Director of the EPA actually said to Shepard Smith of Fox News: "We are measuring levels in the Gulf on a daily basis because that is what our responsibility ultimately is...to collect data". Perhaps I have been exposed to some lethal toxins myself, because I wasn't aware that the EPA was exclusively there to "collect data". If that's the case, how about down-sizing this collosal failure of a bureaucracy and renaming it "The Environmental Information Technology Department". And while we're at it, let's just go ahead and outsource the agency to BP, since they can be trusted with cleaning up the mess they made...and they're already quite used to working without any regulatory constraints!

South Carolina has a history of embracing strong values of conservativism and fiscal responsibility. On a national platform, many other states including Arizona and North Carolina are falling victim to conformity. Basically, these and many other states have abandoned their foundational values, and it couldn't be more evidently clear when you examine the many issues that they are faced with. Reckless spending, huge governmental expansion and high taxes have taken center stage. On the proverbial backburner is education, small business development, and attracting jobs.

Gresham Barrett has risen from virtual obscurity and is slowly taking command in South Carolina, much like Charlie Baker - a conservative Republican candidate for Governor of Massachusetts - is doing in the Bay State. Gresham Barrett understands small business development and the entrepreneural spirit....he was raised in such a family. Gresham Barrett understands the Constitution and the importance of the document....he has led the charge on Capitol Hill as a United States Congressman. He understands that the display of the American flag is patriotic and NEVER offensive in America. I encourage the good folks of South Carolina to join me in supporting Gresham Barrett as South Carolina's next Governor. Send a message to the rest of the nation that strong conservative leadership is needed now more than ever.

All talk and no action - CHECK
All-time high unemployment - CHECK
Bigger Government - CHECK

And now, lifetime appointments with no experience required. That's a big old CHECK too. Barack Obama has quite a track record of incompetence, it's not shocking at all that he just added a cherry to that cake by nominating a completely unqualified, career scholar for the United States Supreme Court.

Elena Kagan, Harvard Law Professor, Dean, and scholar was nominated to take the place of Justice Stephens, and much like Hariett Mier who was nominated by George W. Bush and later withdrew due to enormous scrutiny from Democratic leaders...she has no judiciary experience to speak of.

Typically, when one is considered for any position, there is a record of performance; anything that tells those who will be making the "hiring" decision what this person's views are....what is the content of their character...what is their ideology. With Kagan, there's nothing. Well, if you count her aggressive ban on military recruiters from Harvard University in protest of "Don't ask, don't tell"...a policy under the Clinton Administration - for whom she served as solicitor general. So how exactly does one make a decision on such a candidate? I guess it's only fitting that she practiced law for two years, since Obama only served two years as a United States Senator, which qualified him to be the leader of the free world.

If Elena Kagan is confirmed, it also brings about another huge concern for me. Kagan is yet another Harvard society gal....another Ivy Leaguer. If all of our justices continue to be "factory made" by the Ivy League Machine, we will be left with a trail of indoctrinated judges. It's no secret that Harvard in particular seldom teaches law from a "Conservative" prospective. Let's take a good hard look at the pool of talent in the judicial community and stop it with the "in-crowd" appointments. Kagan is simply UNQUALIFIED.
