I must confess.

I have searched for over a year for a giveaway just for me. I say that because I often give the things I win or buy to family members. Since I love cold weather with lots of snow and wearing products by The North Face to stay warm, I keep on searching for a big win.

I haven't found a giveaway yet offering The North Face products, so I'm just going to tell you all about them and dream.

My favorite coat is The North Face Women's Arctic Parka because it has all the features I want, need and love such as:

Some features I absolutely love:

It is more powerful than any other upright Oreck. There is no need to keep running it over the same spot multiple times. It picks up everything in a single pass, including the hair of my two dogs.
It doesn’t feel bulky, and its maneuverability makes it effortless to use. Other units just seem heavy after using an Oreck. Since it lies down flat while maintaining suction power, you can even use it to clean under beds.

With this warranty comes 10 free annual tune-ups, where they change out the bag and belt, take the machine apart and clean every nook and cranny possible. Afterwards, your vacuum looks and works like new! I LOVE this Oreck perk. In fact, this perk alone makes the vacuum worth its weight in gold.

Other Great Features:

Though a sturdy workhorse, it is lightweight. Weighing in at only 13 pounds, even my son can easily use it. Plus, it saves my bad back.
It has a light duty Quickwand on-board tool that you can activate without turning off the vacuum and switching equipment. All you need to do is “park” the unit. It’s also telescoping, so no additional extension attachments are needed.
It boasts being the quietest Oreck upright ever. With his sensitive ears, my son enjoys this feature, and my infant daughter doesn’t get scared.
It has a long-lasting Endurolife Belt. I don’t know exactly how long this belt lasts, but in the course of ownership of our last vacuum (that does not have the Endurolife Belt), I have only changed the belts at my annually scheduled maintenance checks.
The long 30-ft. cord makes for less outlet changes during your cleaning sessions.
The side edge brushes makes cleaning corners and along edges a breeze.
It’s easy to lift the vacuum up and down stairs with the carry handle in the back of the unit.

What a good friend, late night companion, and vessel for my venting you have become! I wouldn’t change a thing, except maybe for the amount of sleep you siphon from me as I succumb to your gentle call in the middle of the night more than I even did for my children when they were still on the bottle.

"CRKT (Columbia River Knife & Tool) recently sent me their Crossover Shears with Leather Sheaf for review. Now, don't be turned off because this is a knife company (yes, all the men in our lives would be drooling to get to review one of their products) but ladies, they make lots of great products that we can use too! And guys, you are more than welcome to enter this giveaway too! My husband loves these as much as I do. The Crossover Shears are more than just scissors. They are extremely lightweight and easy to use and they even break apart giving you a razor sharp 5.5" knife.

I have to admit I was skeptical about how easy they would break apart because I still can't close most of my husband's knives once I open them and use them. CRKT has created an easy to use product and breaking the scissors apart is a breeze. You simply twist the handle to release and to turn them back into scissors again, you do the same motion. Also, they do not easily detach so you don't have to worry about them breaking apart unless you want them to. The scissor loop on the bottom folds down into the handle so that when you want to use only the knife, you have a regular knife blade. I was worried about the fold-down scissor loop because it felt a little flimsy. Upon reading more about the shears, I learned it was made of flexible TPR with a stainless steel core strap so it will have an extra long life.

Remember how I told you that these were more than scissors? Check out what all you can do with them:

Not only are they high-quality shears but you also have a kitchen knife, bottle opener, lid lifter, screwdriver, grill cleaner and a notch for boning animals. These scissors will even cut clothing, tents and sails. The entire product is built with full-tang high carbon stainless steel frame with ergonomic injection-molded Zytel handles. I have already enjoyed using my crossover shears in the kitchen, to debone & cut chicken, to open packing boxes and more.
