Paper, upon which the blueprint of survival is inked.
Fear is a master of emotion. It's strength is above the emotions of love, hate, happiness and sadness.

Fear destructs. Fear builds. It is masterpiece forging seams, holding life in place.

Not the thorns, nor the rose, but the life itself.

Merging Polarity of Fear

Fear is a product of duality. A force, blended in good and evil, positive and negative. It morphs in and out of instinct and trait with the fluidity of an ever-changing nebulous.

If everything good in this world were exposed as bright white light and evil as it's opposite counterpart in blackness, fear is the union where these two paths converge as a continuous stream of life.

We live life, parallel with fear. There are times when our thoughts or actions borrow from positive energy, other times from negative.

As one of the four primary traits of our being, and most powerful, a great deal of our actions can be traced back to fear.

An Education in Fear

Knowing that fear can create positive or negative emotions is the first step to using it as your advantage. These emotions lead to like actions as a response to internal or external stimuli. We use fear in both ways everyday, mostly unknowingly, much of the time negatively.

Educating yourself on fear is an essential step to a better, more fulfilling life. Through this education, you'll gain two positive outcomes. Most important is the process of uniting with fear, as opposed to fighting or running from it. The other is winning an important battle in the war against your own ignorance.

When lacking knowledge of what fear is and what it can do for you, human nature is to ride it's negative coattails into an oblivion of failure.

Fear is related to several traits and emotions. One of importance, is that it is a master of disguise. It doesn't spring forward in obvious fashion but many of our actions can be traced back to it. It is the puppet master, while our focus rests with the puppet. Too often, through our failures, we cannot figure to change the puppets actions.

Fear is a fundamental foundation of life in even the simplest creatures with a brain. If this foundation is poor, how will the life it is built upon go?

This is where we become a number in a nameless, faceless societal sea of everybody. It is why so many feel the rut and routine of being in a career they dislike or relationship they feel ensnared. Negative fear withheld in dull safety is chained to an existence despised. Subconscious self-hatred weeps into conscience mind, is channeled throughout hosted negative traits to emotion, then demonstrated in physical action.

Look to those around you. Your family, friends and neighbors. How many of them would you deem consistently successful, content, confident of any challenge afforded them? Truthfully, very few.

There are some, to be sure, who can positively channel fear to great benefit. However, a majority of our society lives in conflicting or shifting states of happiness and unhappiness. Trivial contentment short-lived, it is a facade of existence, devoid of genuine and consistent contentment.

Ignorance feeds into fear, fear feeds into negativity, failure results as no positive charge to act and the cycle begins anew. Choosing to ignore fear, than plead to share in it's power, is a death wish to any success you may dream.

Using Fear or Being Used

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? ~ Maryanne Williamson

A block to success many people face is the tendency to run as far from fear as possible. Or even worse, face it. Both sets of mind produce inadequate results. Fear must be sought out as your friend. It is the most powerful force on earth to propel you forward.

It isn't wise to "be tough", trying to overpower fear by extinguishing it. Nor should you allow it to spread through your body with dread before speaking to the crowd.

When dealing with fearful situations, many will succumb to one of these habits. When the no fear method of dealing with a situation is used, fear's eternal partner, ignorance enters the scene. This twosome channeled negatively often leads to disastrous results.

More often, flight will be the mode of dealing with fearful situations. If this is you, right now is a good time to grow a backbone. This isn't about taking careless chances, nor is it about carrying on as a doormat to society either. It is about you making changes in your life which leads to a better place than you are now.

If you suffer from depression, anxiety, Bi-Polar, ADD or any other mental ailment, society doesn't mind what your childhood was like. No one cares what you're dealing with now, either. We all have issues. Move on, it's your choice to do so. Whatever influenced your life or decisions in the past are now situational ghosts. They should be left to rest.

Make no mistake, life is a war between you and your decisions. Some decisions are frightening. But this is no reason for you to live imprisoned behind your limitations. Learn to channel fear as an ally. Developing courage and belief in yourself is the starting point. You must find it. If you cannot, you will die a failure and your life will be wasted.

When you find yourself facing fear, ask for it's company. Never reject it, it will always be there. Greet it warmly, honestly and directly as a friend. Ask it to charge you with it's electric flood, charge your emotions with it's power. Harness it's positive energy and you will see for the first time how powerful you are.

Fear is a steed, you're either riding it or being drug by your laces over rocks.

Begin slowly, as all things should be learned. Seek to master control of all the fears you harbor as enemy.

These words will not change your life. They will set your mind in the right place to change it.

Go, redesign yourself with new found power of rebirth.

XUH8KAXHNU2T

First Minute to the Last

Time never affords so much life that even the wisest man will trade up all his mules for horses.

Do Self Improvement Articles Improve?

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFK3uGXKWKtO0JKFuq4TFzlOjZsnP3U3s1VyZ2iRto-Pn2Cex1Mjsd7i_B2jQXtS2X1O-0j8FhjwmQooX1OZv8JrzTeh78KRhvKwdDW01NN6Fq4XhP9KjuQEnkC-AquDN_YTmmlswMUUI/s320/Frozen+Dinner.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409409013006994082" />Self improvement articles come in two types. Lists and articles. The former, entertaining as it may, is aimed solely at just that. Most of us know this, but our complacency or lack of devotion to change regulate us to list slush heaven for everything on earth.

There is a trend in recent article writing and progressed civilization is leading the charge. I call it writing and reading frozen food articles. Just open contents, read instructions, apply a couple minutes of your sweet time and voila! The finest food for thought this side of Antarctica.

Somewhere along the line in our ever-quickening society, we decided to forgo organic, thought-provoking writing with quick and easy how-to manuals. Something like the side of the box instructions you read to cook dinner in your microwave.

Yahoo's front page is a virtual carousel of these types of articles. How many "Enlighten your relationship in four easy steps" articles have enlightened your relationships?

In some cases, this can make for an interesting, entertaining read.

The problem lies in the concept that an instructional-step style of writing is a one size fits all for every topic.

This style of writing works well if it is your aim to build a bookshelf or bake a casserole. It doesn’t work so well when the topic is aimed toward bettering yourself as a human being.

I’d not take a holier than thou attitude, claiming you wouldn't find that style of writing on this blog. I enjoy Top 5 lists as much as the next frozen foods reader! However, to avoid future contradictory accusations, in this blog space, these types of articles will be kept to a minimum.

At times, however, there may be appropriate to give a fish for gift. It stays fun and refreshing that way.

Mostly, the articles herein are not meant to lay the proverbial fish on your plate with golden fork and knife. Rather, they are to provide you with substance for thought. My purpose is to write thought-provoking lines of identification, observation, opportunity - for you.

I’m willing to hand you my pole, bait, even my beloved fishing hat. It’s up to you to figure out the rest, as what works for one may not for another.

It may take more time to soak in these articles, though nothing is hidden within them. There are no passive secrets of profound knowledge. If you cross a passage which you do not understand at first, read it again, then form your own conclusion through deepened thought, if necessary.

This is the only way for another to reach you to change, from an external port. We know that change comes from within. It will not happen unless it is from within our own.

And if you did notice, it doesn’t come from the frozen food section.

Enjoy your catch! You can keep the hat.

Making Preparations for Success

It is impossible to lead yourself to true, lasting change without first knowing where you stand in the war against your failure. Knowing yourself is the first step in preparing to defeat your negatives.

Painting by Numbers for Self-Growth

You may suffer defeat many times in your quest to remedy yourself of negative traits.

If positive change was easy, everyone would be doing it. There is no instruction booklet as we all have different views of our world. Different positions in life.

Because no one's situation is alike, there are no cookie cutter recipes to work magic.

Once you've embarked upon the path of self-discovery and change, you'll cross breezy articles and simpleton literature designed to provide an elementary passage to self-growth.

This is fine for some interesting reading, but it won't leave a lasting impression or give any food for sustenance to feed rebirth.

Changing the way you think, feel, and see the world is not an ordinary task. It isn't something you could expect to accomplish in a month. It is, in respect to yourself, a lifelong process of growth. It begins with revolution against the evils which aspire to bring you down.

Change takes time. There are phases one must pass to achieve the lasting results desired.

In life, habits are formed which will take your will to the brink of it's limits to erase.

Prisoner of Oppression

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG31EO6imqtKSz4pl40mdEvf2yOoPO0CWhr4sGkYpGbQVttkCQ2armdZeWLZM8NXouovqZDqIren8RyAEIFvLlVCwQubOwGTdkGQoALlxdbOsRXPLUdZONdhPwOMGYagt5q1tDJyzlFL4/s400/iStock_000001784277Small.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5404197990452608450" />Going to war against your faulty traits will be a battle to the death. Death of your negative traits, or wilting of your being.

Consider a starting point a declaration of your freedom. Make a decision, stand up to your captors and strike through the face of fear they invoke.

Your traits cannot physically hurt you, but this is what they'll have you believe. They are strong, based in habit and belief. But they are never as strong as your will.

We covered the four primary negative traits as a family in the previous post entitled, Which Family of Traits do you Belong? It can be found here.

In that post, the four primary traits discussed were Fear, Ignorance, Complacency and Indecisiveness. These traits can be referred to as primal traits. This would be a wise place to begin as attacking them weakens your negatives at the source. You'll find that as you make progress with these traits, negative secondary traits will begin to dissolve around them.

Your primal negatives stand directly outside imprisoned bars but what they don't know is that you're holding the key to exit.

Now is the time to make your escape. However, you should know, they won't allow you to simply walk or pull out your mental machine gun and Rambo away. You're going to get hit on the way out.

Ready to be a Better Person?

Several methods exist to ignite the flame of motivation inside you.

Know that going with the flow of life is not really what you want as that involves you, a toilet and flushing your life down it.

Consider that allowing your fears and indecisiveness to blow you like a leaf in the wind is no way to live life. If you were born as a dog or monkey this would allow you that choice. But if you're reading this, well, you'd be a very smart monkey.

As a human, you have responsibilities to uphold whether denial exists or not.

You have a responsibility to your soul to feed your energy with love for self, passion for your gifts, dreams and expectations to physical manifestation.

You have a responsibility to yourself to grow rather than wilt.

You have a responsibility to your family. Leading by example for the sake of your husbands, wives and children.

You have a responsibility to our human race. Exercise your freedom to make the world a better place and further the advancement of our species.

Your ancestors suffered greatly so that you are here today. They didn't know it, but they gave their lives to give you yours. You will turn your back on them and the rest of the world to live out a meaningless existence?

Find your path and follow it to the end. This is not meaningless. This is how you'll give the most to our world and your world. By doing what it is you're gifted or meant to do in life, this leverage will most benefit yourself, your family and the world you live in.

Failure and self-imprisonment has much to do with your faulty primal traits. They are the source of your decisions, whereas you should be the source of your decisions.

Life is complex, there are many gray areas to explore. This isn't one of them. There is only one right thing to do.

First, I'll teach you how to drill into your surface thoughts to the source of failure. What we believe is the problem isn't usually the most obvious. This is all part of the preparation process that must be accomplished in order to rid yourself of lacking abilities, bad habits and misplacement in your life.

The preparation process we are beginning now will consists of several articles aimed at you getting to know you.

Stay tuned as we begin to drill down into what makes us tick and where we go wrong.

Growth or Stagnation

When a man chooses growth over stagnation, faults and fears will step forth from his crowd of conscience. Removing their placid masks of deception, they tremble with rage. A lesser man will cower and plead for a return to peace, and they will oblige.

If persistence is in their dismissal, they will reveal themselves as he has never seen. These are his monsters, charging forth his will with killing intent. With the beast above, he is left two choices. To die by willful force of his own psyche or unsheathe the knife at his side, plunging into the heart of restraint.

Ignorance

Ignorance is not unlike a man's disease. They are how we are, how we react. Traits control emotions. Emotions are what we see of ourselves and how others view us. In this article, we'll outline the four primal traits we all share in our family of traits.

You know your family as the one you grew up with, but are you aware there's a different type of family that lives within you? They're as much a part of your life as your real family.

Two of the four primal traits are trait neutral, they share equal qualities of positive and negative. These are fear and ignorance. The other two are burdensome negatives by current societies standards. These are complacency and indecisiveness.

Evolution has dealt humanity an uneven hand, however, any one has a right to learn control of them.

Choices of a Child

At several different points in childhood there are two trait family types who apply to our minds. One is failure. The other, success. You're free to choose which one you invite into your life. Unfortunately, the wrong choice or complete imbalance is often the outcome.

Many of the mistakes you make belong to you now. It's best to own them. If a life based on negative traits was the choice you made, it wasn't your fault. You lacked the maturity at that time to make wise decisions.

Childhood was a critical time when your real-life family influenced the course of your life. You needed them to help you make the right decisions. If they were under the control of failure, this is a cycle which needs no explanation.

I'm Not Always a Failure.

No one is always anything. We're complex, human. What are you most of the time? There will come a time in your life when you can no longer hide from yourself. You will wake one day to realize your life was spent as a success or failure.

Failure is the result of insufficient resources. It's famous for rendering incapable of completing goals and tasks. When accepted failure is your influence, watch as good intentions drift downwards to settle on the floor of your soul.

These four primal traits are strongly interconnected. They form a union together and lead many a person down roads of anguish, depression, anxiety and feelings of a misguided life.

Attaining success means many things to many people, it isn't one thing though. It's ultimate is classification of overall contentment with choices and action.

The goal is success but it won't come easily. That is a good thing. If it were simply done, now that would be boring.

Success is grown. First inwards, then outwards. The polar opposite of failure, success comes in many forms and all of them will bring happiness.

Getting to Know Them

If you're living with Failure, these are the primary family members of the traits you possess.

The root traits of Failure.

Fear; The dream-killer, the life-giver.
Ignorance; An empty bucket with not a drop of water grows nothing. Blissful.
Complacency; The root of indifference and laziness. It's living suicide.
Indecisiveness; Society will make your decisions and rape your independence.

They've disgraced you, bled your soul, yet you still accept them for what they are. Your family of traits. In ways, much worse than anything your real-life family does or will do. They treat you like a dog. Kick you, punish for no good reason. Showing not an ounce of love or compassion for you, you hold an elementary cling to them as a familiar, worn blanket.

They don't act independently. Where there is one, the others are close by. They're devoted to each other, bonding in chain, confiding in each other for strength. They'll rule your life as a unit of pain.

You may think of the family of trait failure in this way. Failure has many different faces of personality as an extension of the four primary family members;
Fear
Ignorance
Complacency
Indecisiveness

Some of these personalities are procrastination, self-defeat and selfishness. We may also refer to them as lesser traits of failure. The root always lies within the primary four though.

All other negative traits can be attributed to one or more of the primary family as the source.

For example, let's suppose you have a problem with self-confidence. Reaching to discover, then apply ways or thoughts of mind to become more confident may not provide the results you'd expect.

What you will likely end with is false-confidence, telling yourself to, "be confident." It won't work. You will not feel genuine confidence by hacking at the leaves of the tree. Those you come across will see through the facade. You must attack at the tree's root source.

Lack of self-confidence is a personality trait of fear. Fear has many faces but only one base emotion. It is the most powerful negative/positive inborn trait known to man, displaying the yin/yang principle at it's truest in natural law.

We can trace it backwards.

Lack of self-confidence
Lack of self-respect
Not good enough to feel good about self
Not good enough for self
Not good enough
Have failed before and hurt
Fear of failure
Fear

Where Bad Habits Form

Choosing wisely, even as an unguided child may seem like an easy decision. Yet, so many of us choose the path of failure. Why is this?

Two of these traits come hardwired into you as an operating system is to a computer. Fear, with it's many faces is necessary to your survival. Without it, you may not last much past a few years because... Your were born ignorant, as is everyone.

Complacency and indecisiveness are the children of these traits. Most children naturally lean this direction. All it takes is unintentional parental absence to fall into, for lack of definition, be sucked into their black hole.

Could your failures be the effect of your parents?

Partly, but not entirely.

Nearly all parents try their best to raise their children with loving hearts. Most parents would do anything for their children and wish them nothing but success in life.

For those with loving parents, know that it isn't entirely their fault either. Remember, we are inherently born with these traits. Only a parent who has control of themselves in this capacity could ever hope to benefit their children the same. Some do, most do not.

Parenting is mostly an intuitive process, due to lack of parenting school funding. Give them a break if you aren't completely satisfied with how you turned out. They likely did the best they could.

Now That you Know Them.

Fear and ignorance cannot be eliminated. We must seek out control of them as they are good at controlling us. Complacency and indecisiveness can be all but snuffed through changes in habit.

These traits can be true disease, as we'll discover as we develop an understanding of where they lead.

However, this doesn't mean you can't achieve consistent success in your life. With tremendous effort and building of new habits to replace the old, you will master control of self rather than your masters controlling of you.

You'll invite a richer family of traits into your life. The family of success.

A New Chapter

A new chapter in life begins by being open to yourself.
