MCA Nashville singer-songwriter Kip Moore is celebrating his first No. 1 single with “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,” which sits atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart. The track was certified gold for reaching sales of 500,000 before the April 24 release of his debut album, Up All Night. “I still can’t wrap my head around this whole thing,” says Kip. “I have dreamed about it for a long time, so it’s going to take awhile to understand what is happening.”

Tim McGraw has invited Kip to join him on Monday to perform a special Memorial Day concert of remembrance and gratitude for service members at New York City’s Beacon Theatre during Fleet Week in partnership with Chase and the United Service Organizations (USOs.) The show will be streamed live via YouTube and to military bases around the world on The Pentagon Channel. Kip will also stop by Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends to perform his No. 1 hit on Tuesday, May 29th.

Devin Grissom is a 21-year-old college student at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Grissom was previously the bachelorette in Season 1 of CMT’s reality dating competition “Sweet Home Alabama,” in which 20 bachelors vied for her affections. She is also currently starring in the new CMT reality series “Southern Nights.”

Raised in Cordova, Tenn., the blue-eyed blonde Grissom considers herself to be a true southern belle who values and respects the traditions of the South. Cody Harris, a 23-year-old professional rodeo cowboy from Robertsdale, Ala., is one of the most popular stars on the CMT reality series “Southern Nights.” He was previously one of the bachelors competing for the affections of Devin Grissom in Season 1 of the CMT reality dating competition series “Sweet Home Alabama.”

Raised in a family that has strong roots in the rodeo, Cody has emerged as a young rising star. Nashville, TN (May 25, 2012) – Nashville music fans will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime event tomorrow, Saturday May 26^th, at 9:30 pm when the critically acclaimed film, The Last Ride, will have a special screening at Ernest Tubb Texas Troubadour Theatre, 2416 Music Valley Drive.  The film offers a new twist to the Hank Williams story as it spotlights on the relationship between Hank and his driver during Hank’s last days at the end of 1952.  Numerous high-profile celebrities will be attending the screening including; Hank’s daughter, Jett Williams; Benjy Gaither who oversaw music for the production; Nathan Young and Tony Ramey who appear in the movie.  The event is free of charge and open to the general public.  Following the screening, Jett will headline the Midnight Jamboree that also features performances from Gaither, Young and Ramey.

The Last Ride is a Mozark and Live Bait Entertainment Picture that was directed by renowned director/producer, Harry Thomason (Designing Women, Hearts Afire, Evening Shade).  The poignant film focuses on the final days of the country superstar and the relationship between Hank and his new driver, a local teenager that Hank hired in Montgomery, AL, as they neared that fateful drive to West Virginia on New Years Eve 1952.  The chemistry between the two is riveting and expertly played by Henry Thomas as Hank Williams and Jesse James as the driver.  The movie also stars former Tennessee senator, Fred Dalton Thompson, and Kaley Cuoco.  The film features more than 3-dozen songs and 22 of them are on the soundtrack that features such artists as Jett Williams, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Michael English, The Isaacs, and along with newcomers, Young & Ramey.  The album will be released by Curb Records and the movie will have worldwide distribution later this year.

The video, directed by Declan Whitebloom (Sugarland, The Fray, Taylor Swift), was shot on Percy Priest Lake outside of Nashville, TN and features the foursome lounging on a pontoon in a remote cove offshore.  Karen and Kimberly soaked up the sun and enjoyed lake drinks while Jimi and Phillip played golf off of the top of the pontoon and grilled out on board.
