Today Aiden got a great package in the mail from Paw Paw Joe and Grandma Claire in preparation for our trip to Santa Cruz. Good-byes are never easy, but we need to work on who gets the kisses...and who gets the cold shoulder. Last night our friends came over to grill out and let the kids run around. By the end of the night I think we all could have used a Zanex. With only a 30 minute nap, Aiden was in rare form. This weekend we went to Phillips Park Zoo in Aurora - known for the 1930s discovery of mastodon bones where they were digging. The zoo is so 'geeker'. Aiden got a new set of golf clubs for Valentine's Day from his Aunt Mary Ellen. The metal shafts kind of freak me out given his ability to swing the club with reckless abandon.
