His considerable wealth and lifestyle lends an old-world halo to Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, patriarch of Europe’s Rothschild banking family. The Chairman of Concordia BV spoke to Naren Karunakaran on corporate responsibility but was reticent on the Rothschild involvement in the Russian oil giant Rosneft’s controversial $10.7-billion IPO in 2006. Sections of the financial community had railed against it on ethical grounds, for Rosneft’s principal asset, Yuganskneftegaz, was allegedly acquired in a forced auction by the Russian government.

Debates on corporate responsibility are gaining in decibels. Why?

It goes in waves. A change in government may bring about more regulation or less regulation. You see that in the US with Sarbanes Oxley. In the UK, we split responsibilities between the Bank of England and the Financial Services Authority. These moves reinforce corporate responsibility. I think, shareholders have to be well cared for.

There is an accusation that corporates are obsessed with shareholder value and tend to look away at hard, societal aspects of doing business.

Investor groups, like hedge funds, are moving in. They are only keen on quick returns and aren’t particularly interested in the company per se. Their focus is on capital gains. To me, it is rather difficult to understand. It’s a question of the type of investors a company has.

The key to modern corporate responsibility, therefore, is the appointment of independent directors on the board, those who understand the business and issues, like competence of auditing. I think, the auditors worldwide have failed to do a good job.

How does one rectify the situation?

There are two sides to auditing. One is actually doing the accounting procedures; and the other is to be absolutely upfront and tell the management that the people running the accounts in the company are not doing it satisfactorily. Auditing firms have to engage in staff assessment. However, these firms are so keen to keep the business that they tend to go soft on the company. They have to be tougher.

You see this happening in the short-term?

I don’t know whether it will happen. But it should happen. Three or four companies control the entire audit world. That’s wrong. There is little to choose from. Frankly, the whole standard of ethics is the key criteria to good business. The government also has to put in tougher systems. Basically, we have to train people to behave correctly.

You’ve had a close association with the global metal and mining industry.

I was director of De Beers and was close to Rio Tinto and others. I am familiar with the issues — environment and resettlement of the displaced. The shareholder has to be protected. A company cannot spend large amounts of money on the environment if it is detrimental to the value of the company.

Did it worry you when controversy hit the Rosneft IPO? ABN Amro-Rothschild was joint bookrunner to the IPO, which investor George Soros and others described as facilitating the sale of stolen goods.

Was there a controversy? I can’t remember, my memory is bad, it was a while ago.

Rothschild banking family to unify holdings

PARIS, July 17 (Reuters) - The Rothschild banking family have struck a 446 million-euro ($615 million) deal to unify the shareholdings of the English and French branches of the family, one of their holding companies said on Tuesday.

The Paris Orleans (PROR.PA) holding company said it would now own 100 percent of Concordia BV, the ultimate holding company of the Rothschild banking group.

Paris Orleans said it would buy a remaining 50 percent stake in Concordia BV for 446 million euros in shares and in cash.

"It enables us to simplify further the shareholding structure of the group and to unify the shareholding of the French and English branches of the family for a new generation," David de Rothschild, who heads up the French part of the Rothschild family, said in a statement.

Rothschilds' Paris-Orleans to Buy Rest of Concordia

July 17 (Bloomberg) -- Paris-Orleans, the publicly traded holding company of the French Rothschilds, will buy the rest of family banking concern Concordia BV, enabling Sir Evelyn de Rothschild to exit with about 200 million euros ($276 million).

Paris-Orleans will pay 446 million euros for the half of Concordia currently held by the U.K. side of the family. Sir Evelyn will sell his Concordia stake of about 18 percent, while his three children will receive shares in Paris-Orleans, according to a U.K.-based spokesman for Rothschild.

''It enables us to simplify further the shareholding structure of the group and to unify the shareholding of the French and English branches of the family for a new generation,'' David de Rothschild, who oversees the family's banking group, said in an e-mailed statement today.

Rothschild, the bank that helped fund Wellington's victory over Napoleon in 1815, united its global businesses five years ago for the first time in its 200-year history. The family also placed David de Rothschild, 64, at the helm of the group after he took management control of the U.K. branch from his English cousin, Sir Evelyn, who is 75.

Paris-Orleans will pay half in cash and issue 647,000 new shares for the remainder of Concordia. After the deal, the French and British Rothschilds will share control of Paris-Orleans, with a combined 51.1 percent of the voting rights.

Sir Evelyn's family, principally his three children, will own 36.5 percent of the company, while David de Rothschild will hold 25.1 percent. Eric de Rothschild, 66, who currently chairs Paris-Orleans's supervisory board, will own 38.4 percent.

Family Control

The French Rothschilds currently hold 37.5 percent of Paris-Orleans, and 45.7 percent of the voting rights. Both the English and French branches own half of Concordia, which was created in 2003 as a holding company for the family's banking assets worldwide.

Before that, Rothschild in France and the U.K. operated separately because the Paris bank was nationalized in 1981 by Socialist President Francois Mitterrand. In 1983, David persuaded the government to give the Rothschilds a new banking license.

The plan announced today, ''will secure the long-term stability of Paris-Orleans and the family's control of the banking activities that bear the Rothschild name,'' the statement said.

The moves won't affect day-to-day management of Paris-Orleans or the various banking entities within the Rothschild group. Banking will account for 70 percent of the value of Paris-Orleans' assets following the transaction, which requires approval from French and U.K. regulatory authorities.

Paris-Orleans shares were suspended in Paris trading today. The stock has risen 47 percent in the past year.

As part of the reorganization, Rothschild Continuation Holdings AG, a company controlled by Concordia, will acquire 32 percent of Paris-based Rothschild & Cie. Banque. The move will bring Rothschild Continuation Holdings' stake in the French bank to 44.3 percent.

Rothschild Continuation Holdings also controls units including London-based N.M. Rothschild & Sons Ltd. and Rothschild North America Inc.

Rothschilds to Unite French, U.K. Banks to Secure Control

The Rothschild family plans to merge its French and U.K. banks into one company to tighten control over the assets before an eventual succession of the group’s chief, David de Rothschild.
Rothschild & Cie Banque, the company that holds the French assets of the family such as the eponymous Paris-based mergers and acquisitions bank, and Rothschilds Continuation Holdings AG, which holds assets including London-based bank N.M. Rothschild & Sons Ltd., will be combined under French-traded Paris Orleans et Cie. SA, it said in an e-mailed statement last night. Paris Orleans will change its legal structure to a limited partnership to give the family control over the long term, it said.

“This will enable us to address the requirements of a globalized and competitive world while securing control of the family over the group,” David de Rothschild, 69, who oversees the whole firm, said in the statement.

The decision is part of a unification process between the two branches of the family that started when David de Rothschild took managerial control of the U.K. side of the bank after his cousin Evelyn de Rothschild retired in 2004. While David is the first French national to run the English half, the ownership of the investment bank has remained split between the two families. The plan simplifies the ownership of the banking operations worldwide and will help integrate the teams further.

Succession Planning

The new structure will also facilitate the succession plans of David de Rothschild. He will be chairman of PO Gestion, a company fully owned by the Rothschild family and which will control Paris Orleans (PAOR), while Nigel Higgins, chief executive officer of Rothschilds Continuation, and Olivier Pecoux, CEO of Paris Orleans, will become co-heads of PO Gestion. His son Alexandre de Rothschild, 32, joined the family bank in 2009 from Argan Capital, Bank of America Corp.’s former European private-equity division.

“My son at 37 may be qualified to play some role,” David de Rothschild said in a 2005 interview. “It’s subject to him enjoying it and having the qualities.”

He envisages stepping down when he is between 72 and 76, he was quoted as saying in an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro today.

David was born in the U.S. when his parents fled the Nazis during World War II. The family returned to Europe when the war ended, and during the 1960s, Evelyn and his cousin Jacob rebuilt the London bank, N.M. Rothschild & Sons Ltd.

June Approval Sought

In Paris, David’s father, Guy, expanded the bank by opening branch offices and taking deposits. David joined the investment bank as chairman of the management committee in 1978 when he was 36. In 1982, the Paris bank was nationalized by Socialist President Francois Mitterrand. The same year, David opened an asset-management business in France, which he called PO Banque.

Paris Orleans is offering to buy out minority shareholders at 17 euros ($22) per share and will seek approval at a meeting in June, it said. Paris Orleans directly and indirectly owns 45 percent of Rothschild & Cie. and controls about 53 percent of Rothschilds Continuation. RIT Capital Partners Plc, the London-based investment trust led by Jacob Rothschild, and Edmond de Rothschild Group aren’t part of the group led by David de Rothschild.

Paris Orleans shares rose 3.4 percent to 16.86 euros at 12:50 p.m. in Paris, valuing the company at 548.2 million euros.

The 200-year-old banks will be reunited under a single shareholding that will bring together the fortunes of the French and English sides of the renowned family as they attempt to safeguard the business against the effects of new regulation and the fallout from the global financial crisis.

Paris Orleans, the Rothschild Group's Paris-based holding company, will convert into a French limited partnership, securing the families' control of the bank against potential takeovers. The new partnership will then buy out minority investors in NM Rothschild & Sons, the UK business, as well as outstanding minority interests in the French operations.

David de Rothschild will become chairman of the partnership and said the new structure would help the bank "better meet the requirements of globalisation in general and in our competitive environment in particular, while ensuring my family's control over the long term".

Mr de Rothschild is a descendant of Baron James de Rothschild, who established the family's Paris-based bank 200 years ago.

Changing the ownership structure is aimed at helping Rothschild meet the Basel III capital standards that will require banks to maintain a minimum core capital ratio of 7pc. Rothschild said its regulatory capital would be "significantly enhanced" through the merger.

Paris Orleans has a market value of more than €500m (£415m) and is about 30pc owned by outside investors. Rothschild is offering €17 per share to minority investors, a small premium to the company's current market price.

The Rothschild Group employs 3,000 people in 42 countries and is one of the world's leading independent investment banks, advising some of the largest international companies on capital raisings and mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to investment banking, Rothschild also provides asset management services as well as wealth management advice. The bank also remains a player in the private equity industry and operates several merchant banking operations that invest directly in business across Europe and the rest of the world.

In a break from tradition, two years ago Rothschild appointed Nigel Higgins as its chief executive, marking the first time a non-family member had been given the top job at the bank.

Thank Goodness I Live in a Free Country

I was talking with some friends over the Christmas holiday break and they were commenting on how lucky we are that we live in a free country where we have the liberty and the opportunity to live our lives the way we want and are not controlled by the government like in other countries.

So I started thinking about a particular day of mine a couple months ago:

I woke up in the morning in my FHA (Federal Housing Administration) approved home that was built in accordance with USDOE (Department of Energy), FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission), and numerous CFRs (Code of Federal Regulations).

I went to the bathroom to clean up for work. I showered with soap, shampoo and other toiletry products that have been approved for me by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) using water that meets federal EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) quality standards.

I took my morning vitamins which had to be approved by the FDA.

I went downstairs to eat breakfast foods that had to be approved by the FDA and listened to my morning radio programs which are regulated by the FCC (Federal Communication Commission).

I then got into my EPA and DOT (Dept. of Transportation) standards approved and FTC (Federal Trade Commission) regulated car and was forced by the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) to buckle my seatbelt and put my daughter into an approved child seat. I then drove on DOT regulated roads and was forced to drive a certain speed while listening to more FCC approved programming on my radio.

I stopped for gas but there wasn’t any due to state legislated gas quality restrictions which caused a decrease in the supply of gas and also gasoline price controls that kept the price so artificially low that there was an excess demand such that it sold out as soon as it arrived.

I arrived at my DOL (Dept. of Labor) regulated and EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) sanctioned place of employment, running on fumes, and was forced to work the first 2 hours of my 8 hour shift for the federal and state governments by giving almost 30% of my wages to the IRS and SSA (Social Security Administration) with no compensation.

At lunchtime I went with colleagues to eat and was forced to pay with the only medium of exchange the government approves that is regulated by the FRB (Federal Reserve Board): worthless fiat bank notes.

I then went to pick up my daughter from school where she’s learning a DOE (Dept. of Education) approved curriculum. I took her to an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) approved doctor to get her HHS (Health and Human Services) mandated vaccinations that I learned she needed while watching a Disney family movie which was interrupted by an HHS PSA.

After returning to work I checked my SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) and IRS regulated investments in my now Federal Treasury owned banks to see if I’ll be able to retire someday since the SSA trust fund that I’ve been paying into for 25 years has been raided by the federal government and is now bankrupt.

That afternoon I had to catch a flight to our office in Detroit aboard an FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) approved plane operating at an FAA regulated airport.

Before boarding I had to pass through a TSA (Transportation Safety Administration) security checkpoint where I was forced to disrobe down to my shirt, pants and socks and pass through a scanning machine that saw right through my remaining clothing.

Onboard I noticed federal sky marshals with weapons so I decided to have a cocktail composed of liquor that is controlled by the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms), as are the sky marshal’s guns.

Once sufficiently sedated with bourbon, I sat back and relaxed and thought to myself: Thank God I don’t live in a country where the government controls your life!

(NaturalNews) Is gorging on a bag of nacho cheese-flavored corn chips, for instance, the same as snorting a line of cocaine? A number of scientific studies, many of which were conducted within the past year, have found that junk food addiction is essentially the same as cocaine addiction, at least as far as the brain is concerned.

Bloomberg Businessweek reports on a plethora of recent data that identifies junk food addiction as being just as serious as drug addiction. High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), monosodium glutamate (MSG), hydrogenated oils, refined salt, and various other chemical preservatives found in processed junk food does the same thing to a person's brain as cocaine does.

A 2010 study conducted by scientists at Scripps Research Institute (SRI) in Florida found that rats given free access to Hormel Foods Corp. bacon, Sara Lee Corp. pound cake, The Cheesecake Factory Inc. cheesecake, and Pillsbury Co. Creamy Supreme cake frosting, experienced significant changes in brain activity and function -- and these changes mirrored those that occur in the brains of drug addicts.

Another study conducted by researchers at both the University of Texas in Austin (UT) and the Oregon Research Institute found that prolonged consumption of junk foods results in reduced activity in the striatum, a section of the forebrain that registers reward. In other words, just like with illicit drugs, those addicted to junk food require ever-increasing amounts of it to get the same "high."

"The data is so overwhelming the field has to accept it," said Nora Volkow, director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) concerning the findings. "We are finding tremendous overlap between drugs in the brain and food in the brain."

In a correlative study, researchers identified a similarity in dopamine production levels between drug addicts and junk food addicts. Addiction to either one essentially causes the brain receptors that receive dopamine signals to lose their responsiveness. As a result, addicts require increasing amounts of the addictive substance to receive the same level of satisfaction.

Since processed foods are loaded with synthetic chemical additives, they are technically drugs themselves. So it is no wonder that millions of people around the world are addicted to them.

All our law is private law, written by The National Law Institute, Law Professors, and the Bar Association, the Agents of Foreign Banking interests. They have come to this position of writing the law by fraudulently deleting the "Titles of Nobility and Honour" Thirteenth Amendment from the Constitution for the United States, creating an oligarchy of Lawyers and Bankers controlling all three branches of our government. Most of our law comes directly through the Hague or the U.N. Almost all U.N. treaties have been codified into the U.S. codes. That's where all our educational programs originate. The U.N. controls our education system.

The Federal Register Act was created by Pres. Roosevelt in 1935. Title 3 sec. 301 et seq. by Executive Order. He gave himself the power to create federal agencies and appoint a head of the agency. He then re-delegated his authority to make law (statutory regulations) to those agency heads. One big problem there, the president has no constitutional authority to make law. Under the Constitution re-delegation of delegated authority is a felony breach.

The president then gave the agencies the authority to tax. We now have government by appointment running this country. This is the shadow government sometimes spoken about, but never referred to as government by appointment. This type of government represents taxation without representation.

Perhaps this is why some people believe the Constitution was suspended. It wasn't suspended, it was buried in bureaucratic red tape.

Now, it is an historical fact that with the Declaration of Independence, to provide a united effort during and after the War for Independence, the Colonies as independent nations joined together under the Articles of Confederation, and as Independent Sovereign States drew up constitutions which formed governments to serve the people of each former colony. The Articles of Confederation, after a period of 8 years, were determined to have several flaws. The Congress of delegates called a Convention in 1787 to correct the flaws. The Convention, instead of modifying the Articles of Confederation as directed, in secret sessions took it upon themselves to write an entirely new Constitution, which when ratified by the State Conventions of the Freemen of the Individual States, created the Federal government to serve them in those areas where the States operating individually could not effectively serve. In this new Constitution the people and the States delegated to the Federal government certain responsibilities, reserving all rights not so enumerated to the States and to the People in the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution. As a consequence, the responsibility of the State became one of protecting the people from the tyranny of federal government, to insure that the federal government did not reach beyond the bounds of the Constitution. This worked fairly effectively, until 1933 when Roosevelt assumed office.

The Conference of Chief Justices, Conference of State Court Administrators, the National Associations of Attorney Generals, Secretaries of State and State Auditors, State Purchasing Offices, Lieutenant Governors, and State Legislators, and the Governors of the 50 states comprise the membership of the Council of State Governments. The Council of State Governments is located at 676 N. ST. Clair, Chicago, Illinois 60611.

The Council of State Governments has now been absorbed into the National Conference on Uniform State Laws run by the Bar Association.

The movement for uniform state laws dates back more than a century. The Alabama State Bar called for uniformity as early as 1881, but it was nearly a decade later, at the 12th annual meeting of the ABA in 1889, that the legal community made its formal motion to work for uniformity in the then 44 state union. New York was the first state to move, appointing three commissioners in 1890. Other states soon heeded the call: Delaware, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania attended the first Conference in Saratoga Springs, New York, in 1892. The commissioners wasted no time. They urged adoption of three acts and proposed raising the marrying age to 18 for males and 16 for females. They also adopted a table of weights and measures, noting that with the exception of wheat, legal weights of a bushel varied in all the states.

By the turn of the century, 33 states and two territories had appointed commissioners on uniform laws. In 1910, only Nevada and the Territory of Alaska still had not; they came aboard in 1912.

Below is a Science fair project presented by a girl in a secondary school in Sussex.
In it she took filtered water and divided it into two parts.

But first they will create currency crashes, instability and a global downturn. Perhaps a third world war. Then people will prefer a regulated market, not a competetive. It will surely give the impression to be the same free market as before.
China is now used as a test country for how the whole world will work in a few years. Communism and ruthless capitalism, fascism cooperates and controls the country.
Right now we see the consequence of the fraudulent Federal Reserve System, which started in the U.S. in 1913. Maybe they get the system ended before people knows which banks in nearly 100 years has managed and improperly exploited the value of the American people’s currency, the dollar.
All the world’s currencies and economies is now under the influence of a few. It is the result of centuries of colonialism, British imperialism and trade of war. Do not forget that the U.S. began as a British colony. The latest centuries Great Britain has dominated oceans and trade. Since they have control over so many banks one can say that the world today works as a colony for them. The would-be mass murderers' rationale for wanting to kill more than a billion of us is that the Earth resources are limited, and we consume and pollute too much. But just a perfunctory analysis of the problem evidences that any of the billionaires who attended the secret meeting consume and pollute more in a single day than the people of some small third-world countries do in a year.

On May 5th, 2009, some of the most notorious members of the TOP EUGENICIST "Billionaires Club" — David Rockefeller, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffett, George Soros, Eli Broad, Peter G. Peterson, Patty Stonesifer, John Morgridge, Michael Bloomberg and a few other billionaires –, secretly met at the Manhattan residence of Sir Paul Nurse, president of Rockefeller University.

The meeting was eerily similar to another meeting that took place on January 20, 1942, in Wansee, a Berlin suburb.

In the Wansee Conference, some high ranking Nazi officials, led by SS-Obergruppenfuhrer Reinhard Heydrich, dispassionately discussed the more efficient methods to carry out the "Final solution to the Jewish question."

Though European Jews were the main targets for elimination, other groups, especially Slavs, Romany and mentally and/or physically disabled Germans, were also persecuted and murdered. The total death toll is estimated at between 12 and 26 million.

As expected, the U.S. mainstream media was very careful not to inform the American people about the billionaires meeting in Manhattan, but some details eventually were known.

Quoting an anonymous person who attended the meeting, a major U.K. newspaper reported that “a consensus emerged that they would back a strategy in which population growth would be tackled as a potentially disastrous environmental, social and industrial threat.”

According to other sources, billionaires who attended the secret meeting convened on the initiative of Bill Gates. Giving credibility to this is the fact that Gates had made similar points at a conference he attended on February 18, 2010, in Long Beach, California.

"Official projections say the world's population will peak at 9.3 billion [up from 6.6 billion today] but with charitable initiatives, such as better reproductive healthcare, we think we can cap that at 8.3 billion," Gates said.

Translated into plain English, this means that Mr. gates [sic] is planning to participate in the killing of more than a billion human beings.

Also present at the meeting in Manhattan was media czar Ted Turner, billionaire founder of CNN who stated in a 1996 interview for the Audubon nature magazine, where he said that a 95% reduction of world population to between 225-300 million would be "ideal." In a 2008 interview at Philadelphia's Temple University, Turner fine-tuned the number to 2 billion, a cut of more than 70% from today's population.

When the British Army of Lord Cornwallis boarded its ships to depart from Yorktown after being defeated by the Continental Army and the French under the command of General George Washington, a regimental band supposedly played an old ballad called “The World Turned Upside Down.” The music was intended to convey that the established order had been inverted by the American victory, with the king of England’s writ soon to be replaced by a union of states that eventually evolved into a constitutional republic.
There has been considerable press coverage during the past week that makes one think of a world turned upside down. Washington is unnaturally consumed with the Iranian Problem. Talk shows resonate over the question of what to do about Tehran’s nuclear program. There is a whole smorgasbord of things that Iran might do that are forbidden, including even having the knowledge of how to build a bomb. The negative press and commentary are being spun into a casus belli, something called the Iranian Threat writ large. The message is clear: even though Iran has a minuscule defense budget, has never attacked anyone, and is essentially a Third World country, it is nevertheless a global menace that must be dealt with by military means if all else fails. Oh yes, and brave little Israel will do the job if President Obama doesn’t have what it takes.
The only problem with all of the above is that the United States intelligence community confirms that Iran does not have a nuclear device and has not made the political decision to build one. Even Israeli intelligence agrees. So if you want a war, what do you do when that happens? You shift your narrative and develop a new way of defining the threat. Israel and its friends have consequently initiated a major offensive both back at home and in the United States to heighten the impression that Iran poses a genuine threat to Israel, the United States, and even to world peace in general. And make no mistake about what it entails: this is a major disinformation strategy that involves diplomatic, intelligence, and media resources.
The new narrative goes roughly as follows: Iran is developing a nuclear weapon and is close to having one in spite of what the intelligence people think. The weapon will inevitably be used directly by Iran or even given to terrorists to threaten Israel, Europe, and even the United States using ballistic missiles that are currently being developed. Because Iran is concealing or defensively “hardening” its new nuclear facilities, the window is closing on a military option to destroy the program. Iran is also planning to attack Jewish and American targets worldwide, including inside the United States, so a military attack is doubly essential to deter it from sponsoring such terrorist activity.
But there has been pushback within the U.S. government, particularly from the Pentagon and the CIA, with voices calling for calm. The Obama administration also does not want a war with Iran at this time, even though it has done precious little to prevent one. It has sent Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to Israel to warn the government of Benjamin Netanyahu that the United States will not support an uncoordinated military action by Israel. But Israel has refused the demand to provide advance warning of an attack and has defended its right to take action against the perceived Iranian threat. This does not sit well in Washington, but there is little that the White House can do in an election year, since any attempt to pressure Tel Aviv will result in an avalanche of criticism from Congress and the media.
Israel has been working hard to make a case through The New York Times and other media that retaliation by Iran really wouldn’t be so bad. The Netanyahu government has been circulating a memo that apparently details how Israel would easily counter Tehran’s reaction, also implying that the United States and its assets in the Persian Gulf would suffer little damage. The memo additionally makes the point that an attack on Iran would be perceived well by Iran’s Arab neighbors, leading to improved relations between Israel and all interested parties. Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon also hyped the damage that Israel could inflict, saying last week that Israel would be able to attack all of Iran’s nuclear facilities, a statement that the Pentagon regards as whimsical.
But describing an Israeli attack on Iran as both potentially decisive and a benefit to everyone except Iran is apparently not enough. It has also been necessary to introduce other threats that will be deterred by the action. That is why the Israeli government and its usual cheering section in the media have been working up the story that Iran is planning terrorist actions inside the United States. This came to the fore in the press coverage of intelligence and defense community testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations committee last week in which Sen. Dianne Feinstein burbled enthusiastically as Persian perfidy was laid out for all the world to see. “Iran … willing to attack on U.S. soil, U.S. intelligence report finds” read a headline for an article on the front page of The Washington Post on the following day. But paragraph three of the same article began with “U.S. officials said they have seen no intelligence to indicate that Iran is actively plotting attacks on U.S. soil.” The article then went on to cite the alleged Iranian-Mexican drug dealer plot to kill the Saudi ambassador in Washington — which outside the government has been widely regarded as a fabrication — as possible evidence that “some Iranian officials … are now more willing to conduct an attack in the United States.” When it comes to Iran as seen by official Washington, it is not necessarily what they do but what they might be thinking of doing.
The Israeli embassy in Washington then moved to drive something like the same message home, sending a memo around to Jewish groups indicating that “the threat on our sites around the world will increase.” This was picked up by ABC News and other national media after the allegedly confidential document was conveniently leaked. Overall, Tel Aviv’s disinformation program appears to be doing quite well, thanks to an obliging media and a receptive Congress.
But the real kicker last week was an op-ed by neocon-lite David Ignatius of The Washington Post, who is in Europe traveling with Panetta, in which he spelled out the steps the White House was taking to stop Israel from starting a war with Iran. Oddly, or perhaps not, the article included the following referring to possible U.S. abstention from the conflict: “Administration officials caution that Tehran shouldn’t misunderstand: The United States has a 60-year commitment to Israeli security, and if Israel’s population centers were hit, the United States could feel obligated to come to Israel’s defense.” Ignatius is unusually well-plugged in to White House and Pentagon circles, so what he says should be regarded as reliable. If his “could” should be understood as meaning “would,” his comment basically means that if Israel starts a war, even without warning Washington that it is coming, an Iranian reaction that hits civilian targets in Israel, either deliberately or not, would require a U.S. response because America is pledged to “defend” Israel no matter what and no matter who started the fighting. As Israel is physically a small country and Iranian missiles cannot hit targets with pinpoint accuracy, it is hard to imagine any Iranian response that would not strike civilian targets. If the U.S. response would be automatic, that means that the White House has effectively turned over its foreign policy to Israel’s kleptocratic leadership. The world has turned upside down.

work-place air-conditioning, and suburban housing - are not sustainable. A
shift is necessary. which will require a vast strengthening of the

To many well-meaning people Agenda 21 sounds good. This U.N. document,
drafted for the purpose of creating sustainable societies and saving the
earth from environmental catastrophes, has been welcomed by nations around
the world. Political, cultural, and media leaders have embraced its alluring
visions of social justice and a healthy planet. Relatively few are willing
to consider the contrary facts and colossal costs.
After all, what could be wrong with preserving resources for the next
generation? Why not limit consumption and reduce energy use? Why not abolish
poverty and establish a global welfare system to train parents, monitor
intolerance, and meet all our needs? Why not save the planet by trading cars
for bikes, an open market for self-sustaining communities, and single
dwellings for dense human settlements (located on transit lines) where
everyone would dialogue, share common ground, and be equal?
The answer is simple. Marxist economics has never worked. Socialism
produces poverty, not prosperity. Collectivism creates oppression, not
freedom. Trusting environmental scientists who depend on government funding
and must produce politically useful information will lead to economic and
social disaster. 3
Even so, local and national leaders around the world are following the UN
blueprint for global management and sustainable communities, and President
Klinton is leading the way. A letter I received from The President's Council
on Sustainable Development states that - In April 1997, President Klinton
asked the council to advise him on: next steps in building a new
environmental management system for the 21st century... and policies that
foster U.S. leadership on sustainable development internationally. The
council was also charged to ensure that social equity issues are fully
integrated ...
Many of our representatives are backing his plan. In a 1997 letter
congratulating the Local Agenda 21 Advisory Board in Santa Cruz for
completing their Action Plan, Congressman Sam Farr wrote, The Local Agenda
21 Action Plan not only has local significance, it also will have regional
and national impacts. As you know, the President's Council on Sustainable
Development is beginning Phase III of its work with an emphasis on
sustainable communities.4
This agenda may already be driving your community's development (it is
doing so in Florida!) , so be alert to the clues. Notice buzzwords such as
visioning, partners, and stakeholders. Know how to resist the consensus
process. Ask questions, but don't always trust the answers. Remember,
political activists, like self-proclaimed education change agents , have put
expediency above integrity. As North Carolina school superintendent Jim
Causby said at a 1994 international model school conference, We have
actually been given a course in how not to tell the truth. You've had that
course in public relations where you learn to put the best spin on things. 5
To recognize and resist this unconstitutional shadow government of laws and
regulations being imposed on our nation without congressional approval, take
a closer look at its history and nature.
Agenda 21
This global contract binds governments around the world to the UN plan for
changing the ways we live, eat, learn, and communicate - all under the noble
banner of saving the earth. Its regulations would severely limit water,
electricity, and transportation - even deny human access to our most
treasured wilderness areas. If implemented, it would manage and monitor all
lands and people. No one would be free from the watchful eye of the new global tracking and information system
This agenda for the 21st Century was signed by 179 nations at the UN
Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. Among
other things, it called for a Global Bio-diversity Assessment of the state
of the planet. Prepared by the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP), this GBA
armed UN leaders with the information and science they needed to validate
their global management system. Its doomsday predictions were designed to
excuse radical population reduction, oppressive lifestyle regulations, and
a coercive return to earth-centered religions as the basis for environmental
values and self-sustaining human settlements.
The GBA concluded on page 763 that the root causes of the loss of
bio-diversity are embedded in the way societies use resources. The main
culprit? Judeo-Christian values. Chapter 12.2.3 states that- This world view
is characteristic of large scale societies, heavily dependent on resources
brought from considerable distances. It is a world view that is
characterized by the denial of sacred attributes in nature, a characteristic
that became firmly established about 2000 years ago with the
Judeo-Christian-Islamic religious traditions.
Eastern cultures with religious traditions such as Buddhism, Jainism and
Hinduism did not depart as drastically from the perspective of humans as
members of a community of beings including other living and non-living
elements.6
Maurice Strong, who led the Rio conference, seems to agree. His ranch in
Colorado is a gathering place for Buddhist, Bahai, Native American, and
other earth-centered religions. Yet, while spearheading the restructuring of
the United Nations (see World Heritage Protection?), he also helped design
the blueprint for the transformation of our communities. And in his
introduction to The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, he called local leaders
around the world to undertake a consultative process with their populations
and achieve a consensus on 'Local Agenda 21' for their communities.
Achieving that consensus meant painting scary scenarios of a hurting, dying
planet that frighten children, anger youth, and persuade adults to submit to
the unthinkable regulations. (See Saving the Earth) It means blaming climate
change on human activities and ignoring the natural factors that have -
throughout time - brought cyclical changes in climate, storm patterns,
wildlife migration, and ozone thinning (there has never been a hole ).
Natural factors you seldom hear about: * the earth's orbit around the sun *
the gravitational pull of the moon (affects tidal forces and trigger
volcanoes which cool the earth and produce El Ninos) * major volcanic
eruptions which affect the ozone layer far more than all human activity *
sunspot activity (times of great solar turbulence which heat the earth and
recurs every nine to thirteen years) * the earth's relationship to other
stars and planets * storm tracks * the earth's magnetic field (deflects
storm tracks) * the annual decrease of stratospheric ozone each southern
winter (our summer) when the sun's seasonal absence prevents ultraviolet
rays from interacting with oxygen and producing ozone.

KILLER SEEDS: The devastating impacts of Monsanto’s genetically modified seeds in India

Monsanto’s operation in India illustrates monopolization and manipulation of the market economy, tradition, technology, and misgovernance. The world’s largest producer of genetically engineered seeds has been selling genetically modified (GM) in India for the last decade to benefit the Indian farmers – or so the company claims.
In a country of more than 550 million farmers who are largely poor and uneducated and the agriculture market rife with inefficient business practices, the Indian government sought to reform the market by eliminating subsidies and loans to the farmers.
The government reform did not help the farmers. With pressure from the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Indian government has “forced market liberalization on India which means the elimination of government subsidies and government-backed loans to farmers.”
Enter Monsanto with its “magic” GM seeds to transform the lives of the poor Indian farmers.
The U.S. agri-business giant took full advantage of its entry into the Indian market. It entered into an agreement with state governments including Rajasthan and Andhara Pradesh to introduce a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that dictated the terms of disseminating the GM technology in Indian market.
For Monsanto, it is one thing to convince farmers to use artificial seeds for the purposes of enriching their lives, it is quite another to manipulate nature and technology to profit from them.

Killer Seeds

The irony is GM seeds have not been effective in India and the consequences are not as rosy as what Monsanto had promised to deliver. Scathing reports of mass suicides of the Indian farmers broke out as recently as three years ago when scores of farmers took their own lives in order to escape the burden of high price and failure of Monsanto’s GM seeds.
Monsanto offered its GM seeds to the farmers of India with hopes of reaping plentiful crops. Plain and mostly uneducated farmers thought Monsanto has come to provide a “magic” formula that would transform their lives. They had no idea what was coming.
Monsanto’s seeds in India did not produce what the company had promised and farmers hoped. The expensive seeds piled up debts and destroyed farming fields. In many instances, the crops simply failed to materialize. The farmers were not aware that the GM seeds required more water than the traditional seeds. And lack of rain in many parts of India exacerbated the crop failure.
With no harvest, the farmers could not pay back the lenders. Burdened with debts and humiliation, the farmers simply took their own lives, some by swallowing poisonous pesticides in front of their families. To date, an estimated 200,000 farmers have committed suicide all over India.
To add to the misery, wives inherited the debts along with the fear of losing their homes and lands. With no money coming in, they also had to pull their kids from the schools. The mass suicide among the Indian farmers is known as the “GM genocide.”
In its company website Monsanto declares that its pledge is “our commitment to how we do business.” And then there are the business philosophies with virtuous words like “integrity” and “transparency.”
Monsanto’s business practices in India quite remarkably live up to the company’s motto. It purposefully leverages its power and influence in government to penetrate farming markets with motive but without morale.

Market Power

Using its colossal market power, Monsanto craftily penetrated into the Indian markets.
Monsanto convinced the Indian government that its GM seeds would produce better crops. According to a report by Farm Wars, one former Managing Director of Monsanto claimed that Monsanto manipulated research data “to get commercial approvals for its products in India.”
Indian regulatory agencies, instead of verifying the data, simply remained compliant with the findings of what Monsanto presented. “They did not even have a test tube to validate the data and, at times, the data itself was faked,” the Farm Wars report says.

Government regulations worked in favor of Monsanto to monopolize the Indian seed market. For example, “Prime Minsiter’s Office” in India pressured various state governments to sign MOUs with Monsanto to privatize the seed market.
Through these “vested interests” with the Indian government, Monsanto eventually has monopolized the GM seed market for more than a decade.
Unable to purchase traditional seeds, the farmers had to pay a hefty price for the expensive GM seeds. Many farmers had to borrow money from the local lenders to buy Monsanto’s seeds. To cite an example of how expensive the GM seeds are, 100 grams of GM cost $15 to the farmers compared with $15 for 1000 grams of traditional seeds.
Vandana Shiva, a renowned scientist and activist in India, wrote that Monsanto had also planned to control water in India. Its aim was to control water supply through privatization. In other words, Monsanto sought to profit from water, a lifeline of Indian livelihood. By seeking control of water, Monsanto also seized the opportunity to benefit from the scarce water supply that plagues communities throughout India.

Manipulation and Misinformation

The failure of Monsanto’s GM seeds was palpable. The farmers held onto their hopes for better crops after they had planted the “magic” seeds. Their crops never came. Throughout the villages in India the harvest from the GM seeds failed. The parasites destroyed the so-called “pest-proof” GM seeds.
Monsanto uses methods of manipulation and misinformation to reap their own benefits and profits at the cost of the farmers who rely on organic methods to grow their crops and animals, a tradition that existed in India for centuries.
By a contractual clause, the farmers could not save Monsanto’s GM seeds for reuse after the first season.

Whether or not the farmers understood this legal binding would merit an examination to underscore the extent of Monsanto’s market power and conniving business practices. Misleading and forcing farmers to buy the GM seeds through government policy and market monopoly must be purged as part of reforming the Indian agricultural market.

Action Against GM seeds

Prince Charles does not like what Monsanto is doing or causing to the lives of the farmers in India. He has expressed his contempt for the “bio-tech leaders” and “politicians” who have caused suicides among the Indian farmers. His charity organization promotes “long-term benefits of sustainable agriculture” that would provide “decent returns” to the farmers.
Facing pressure from the anti-GM seed activists, NGOs, and local communities, the Indian government gave in. In 2010, Indian Environment Minister issued a temporary “moratorium” on Monsanto to introduce genetically engineered egg plant seeds in India. Only time will tell how long this policy effects will last.
In a country where money, politics, and business often go hand in hand, the farmers are at the mercy of their own fate.

Earth is wrapped in a donut shaped magnetic field. Circular lines of magnetic flux continuously descend into the North Pole and emerge from the South Pole. The Ionosphere, an electromagnetic-wave conductor, 100 kilometers [62 miles] above the earth, consists of a layer of electrically charged particles acting as a shield from solar winds.

Earth Resonant Frequency
Natural waves are created which result from electrical activity in the atmosphere. They are thought to be caused by multiple lightning storms. HAARP
The Creator designed living beings to resonate to the11 natural Schumann Resonance frequency pulsation in order to evolve harmoniously. The Ionosphere is being manipulated by US government scientists using the Alaskan transmitter called HAARP, (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) which sends focused radiated power to heat up sections of the Ionosphere, which bounces power down again. ELF waves produced from HAARP, when targeted on selected areas, can weather-engineer and create mood changes affecting millions of people. The intended wattage is 1,700 billion watts of power.

Geomagnetic Waves & GWEN
Sixty four elements in the ground modulate, with variation, the geomagnetic waves naturally coming from the ground. The earth's natural 'brain rhythm' above is balanced with these. These are the same minerals found in red blood corpuscles. There is a relation between the blood and geomagnetic waves. An imbalance between Schumann and geomagnetic waves disrupts these biorhythms. These natural geomagnetic waves are being replaced by artificially created low frequency (LF) ground waves coming from GWEN Towers.

GWEN (Ground Wave Emergency Network) transmitters placed 200 miles apart across the USA allow specific frequencies to be tailored to the geomagnetic-field strength in each area, allowing the magnetic field to be altered. They operate in the LF range, with transmissions between LF 150 and 175 KHz. They also emit waves from the upper VHF to the lower UHF range of 225 - 400 MHz. The entire GWEN system consists of, (depending on source of data), from 58 to an intended 300 transmitters spread across the USA, each with a tower 299-500 ft high. 300 ft copper wires in spoke-like fashion fan out from the base of the system underground, interacting with the earth, like a thin shelled conductor, radiating radio wave energy for very long distances through the ground.

The United States is bathed in this magnetic field which can rise from ground up to 500 ft, but goes down into basements, so everyone can be affected and mind-controlled. The entire artificial ground-wave spreads out over the whole of the USA like a web. It is easier to mind-control and hypnotize people who are bathed in an artificial electromagnetic-wave.

Is Chavez Next?

Attorney and activist Eva Golinger has written an excellent piece on US-Venezuela relations that’s posted on her website Postcards from the Revolution. Golinger details the astonishing turnaround that Chavez has effected since he took office 12 years ago. Not only has Chavez routed the predatory oligarchs who once dominated Venezuelan politics, but his revolutionary social programs have also raised the standard of living for the poor and middle classes while strengthening the institutions that have transformed Venezuela into one of the hemishpere’s most vibrant democracies. Venezuela has seen a 50 percent reduction in poverty since Chavez took office in February, 1999. Venezuelans are now guaranteed free, universal healthcare, a K-through-college education, and civil liberties that are protected under the constitution. US citizens have every reason to be envious of the social safety net Chavez has created for his people via his Bolivarian Revolution.
Naturally, Chavez’s progressive policies have raised a few eyebrows in Washington where his successes are seen as a threat to the established order. Corporate mandarins regard Chavez as a troublemaker and they’re doing whatever they can to get rid of him ASAP. This is why one never reads anything positive about Chavez or his accomplishments in the US media, because the corporate bosses hate him, as they do anyone who diverts money from the 1 percent at the top of the economic foodchain to the 99 percent at the bottom.
US-Venezuela relations have continued to deteriorate under Barack Obama, who has turned out to be as big a disappointment to Chavez as he has to his supporters in the US. The Obama administration continues to fund the stealth network of US-backed NGOs that have been working around-the-clock to depose the democratically-elected leader for more than a decade. Golinger has written extensively on U.S. government agencies and their persistent meddling in Venezuela’s politics. Here’s an excerpt from Golinger’s post:

“Ever since the US-supported coup attempt against President Hugo Chavez in Venezuela failed in April 2002, Washington has been pursuing a variety of strategies to remove the overwhelmingly popular South American head of state from power. Multimillion-dollar funding to anti-Chavez groups in Venezuela through US government agencies, such as the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID), has increased exponentially over the past ten years, as has direct political support through advisors, strategists and consultants- all aiming to help an unpopular and outdated opposition rise to power.
US government agencies, including the State Department, Central Intelligence Agency, National Directorate of Intelligence and the Pentagon, have pumped up their hostile language towards the Venezuelan government in recent years. The major oil-producing nation has been placed on the countless, and baseless “lists” produced annually by Washington, including “failure to cooperate with counter-narcotics efforts”, “failure to aid in the war on terror”, “trafficking in persons”, and others, that are based on political decisions instead of concrete, substantial evidence to support their accusations. So, things have not improved under Obama at all, in fact, they’ve gotten worse. The US congress–whose public approval rating has plunged to single digits–is also beating the war drums against Chavez trying to garner support for direct intervention.
While Obama has refrained from name-calling or explicit accusations; his underlings in and out of the bureaucracy never hesitate to connect Chavez to Iran or to suggest links between Chavez and terrorism. Obama’s role in the smear campaign is as clear as his role in eviscerating the Bill of Rights with his recently-passed NDAA.
Here’s more from Golinger: “Other “commentators” and “analysts” are busy writing blogs and columns warning of the growing terrorist threat south of the US border. These dangerous, unfounded accusations could easily be used to justify an attack against Venezuela, as weapons of mass destruction was used against Iraq and “protecting the population” was used against Libya. ….Time again, Venezuela has shown there are no “terrorist training camps” on its soil. Nor is it secretly building a bomb to attack the US. Venezuela is a nation of peace. It does not invade, attack or threaten other countries.”
So, what does a peaceful country like Venezuela need to do to avert a confrontation with the United States?
Venezuela needs to become more like neighboring Colombia that Obama and others regularly hold up as a model of “democracy” in the region. Colombia –where human rights abuses and targeted assassinations are routine and where the US spends billions on a drug eradication program (Plan Colombia) that routinely sprays toxic (re: poison) chemicals on crops, livestock, water supplies and children.
Here’s a little background from Aljazeera: “In 2008, Colombian soldiers were revealed to have murdered possibly thousands of civilians and then dressed the corpses in FARC attire in order to receive bonus pay and extra holiday time. Juan Manuel Santos (who is now Colombia’s president) was serving as defence minister …when the “false positives” scandal broke…. Despite this and other details – such as that, since Uribe’s assumption of office, more trade unionists have been assassinated in Colombia than in the rest of the world combined …(Even so)…..the country has been applauded by the US State Department and the Inter-American Development Bank as a regional role model in confronting security threats ensures the fortification of a system in which profits depend on the perpetuation of insecurity.”(“Private security and ‘the Israelites of Latin America’”, Belen Fernandez, Aljazeera)
So, this is how one becomes America’s friend; just follow orders, kill and imprison your own people, (preferably trade unionists) and allow the corporate looting to go unchecked. No wonder the repressive Saudi dictatorship consistantly ranks so high on Washington’s Friend’s List.
So, what’s in store for Chavez, who’s done nothing except raise living standards, strengthen the rule of law, and make the world a better place for ordinary working people?
The Obama administration presently has its hands full with its wars in Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa. But as soon as Obama is finished “liberating” Tehran, it’ll be on to Venezuela. You can bet on it. After all, Venezuela sits on the biggest ocean of oil in the world, “over 500 billion barrels”. That means it’s only a matter of time before WMD and Al Qaida training camps are discovered in Caracas.

Whereas, the wanton violation of this proscription was one of the chief causes of the separation of the American people from their government in Great Britain;

Whereas, the use of such draconian measures has been an essential feature of the enforcement of tyranny by every totalitarian governments of the 20th century;

Whereas, the use of such draconian measures is carefully calculated to quash all political dissent amongst a captive people;

Whereas, the codification of such draconian measures effectively nullifies all civil liberties the people may hope to hold;

And whereas, the codification of such draconian measures is an act of war against the populous at large;

Therefore, be it declared that a STATE OF WAR formally exists between the Government of these United States and the People of these United States, perpetrated by that Government against the People.

We, the People of these United States, declare any and all attempts to enforce the provisions of the NDAA to be unlawful, void, and of no force.

We declare ALL WHO voted in favor of the NDAA, and ALL WHO attempt to enforce the NDAA to be traitors to these United States, punishable under law.

We SHALL DISOBEY, APPREHEND, OR RESIST WITH FORCE, at our discretion, any person who attempts to enforce the provisions of the NDAA.

An off-duty police officer has been charged with executing a man in a sports bar - after an argument over a game of darts.
Riverside County sheriff's deputy Dayle Long, 42, allegedly shot Samuel Vanettes, 36, three times, leaving him to die on the floor of the bar in Murrieta, California.
It is reported that Long, who had been drinking alone, struck up a conversation with Vanettes and his friends at Spelly’s Bar and Grille before the shooting.
An altercation allegedly broke out after the police officer told one of the friends 'I’m better at darts than you are', Chris Hull, 39, told Patch.com.
'My buddy says, "Aw, you suck at darts". (The man) says, "That’s why I’m a cop, I can do whatever I want to do".'
Hull tsaid his friend asked; 'Really, you can do anything?'
The police officer then pulled out his gun, Hull claimed and after the group repeatedly asked him to put it away he 'pops three rounds into my friend Sam'.

The ten-year department veteran appeared at the Southwest Justice Center in French Valley in a red prison uniform, on Friday charged with murder.

Vanettes, a gas station cashier, was trying to keep the peace in the bar when he was gunned down, John Hall, a spokesperson for the District Attorney's office, according to Patch.com report.
Long and another man were in an argument when Vanettes had stepped in to break up the fight.
'He came in to act as a peacemaker and ended up getting shot,' Hall said.

He added that the victim was unarmed and showing no aggressive behavior.
According to a family member of the victim, who spoke to the LA Times, Vanettes was at the bar with his sister, her boyfriend and another friend when he started playing darts with Long.
'They were getting along good,' the relative said Vanettes sister had told.
'When the cop started having more whiskey, he started getting belligerent.
'He lifted his shirt up and showed his gun. Sam was standing by the dartboard.
'He said, "You don't want to do this; you're a nice guy". And he shot him. That's what I'm told.'
If convicted, Long could face 50 years to life behind bars.

Last week, we told you about an election fraud investigation with allegations of faked signatures to get then-candidate Barack Obama on the Indiana primary ballot in 2008. Today, four Democratic operatives, including a city councilman, have pleaded guilty to felony charges in a voter fraud scandal to try to steal the primary election — this time in Troy, New York.
Fox News first broke the story nationally about the allegations that absentee ballots were forged in the 2009 primary in Troy of the Working Families Party, a group once associated with the defunct community group ACORN. Voters told Eric Shawn that they never signed absentee ballot applications and that ballots were cast in their names.
Shawn pointed out that Troy City Councilman Michael Loporto goes on trial next month along with the Democratic county elections commissioner. Loporto said that he did nothing wrong.
One of the Democratic operatives who pleaded guilty, Anthony Defiglio, told New York state police in 2009 that absentee ballot fraud works. “This is an ongoing scheme and it occurs on both sides of the aisle. The people who are targeted live in low-income housing and there is a sense that they are a lot less likely to ask any questions … what appears as a huge conspiracy to non-political persons is really a normal political tactic,” Defiglio
