What is ART THERAPY?

Art Therapy is a specialized therapeutic profession that utilizes art making and the creative process to enhance self-awareness, cultivate self-esteem, discharge and process emotions and trauma, and encourage emotional resilience. Art Therapy integrates the processing of new experiences, allows for a shift of perspective, and provides a bodily release — engaging the mind, body, and spirit!

Unlike traditional talk therapy, Art Therapy can uncover deeper-rooted issues that are hard to communicate and provides a kinesthetic, hands-on, way to work through difficult emotions.
