Here are some key things you might want to know:

*Our Nursery and Kids Connection are safe, secure and a lot of fun. You will check-in at the Kids Check-In table. Babies and toddlers go to the Nursery. School aged kids start the service with all the rest of us. Kids 5 years to 5th grade will learn about God’s love for them and how to love and care for others in Kid’s Connection after the worship music.

*We meet at Woodcreek Jr High School at 10:30am every Sunday. It is located at Katy Flewellen Rd and Woodcreek Bend Lane. Parking is located off of Woodcreek Bend Lane. The school is a great place to get together. The facilities are nice and the atmosphere welcoming.

* We are a casual, contemporary, multi-ethnic group on a journey of faith together – so come as you are and bring friends and family without worry. We come from many different denominations, beliefs and cultures. You are welcome here no matter what.

* Our Greeters will welcome you. Stop by the Hospitality table for some fresh coffee. Someone will show you to the Children’s area if needed and to the worship center. You will meet regular, everyday people everywhere you venture.

* We believe and teach the Bible while we focus on  Jesus’ example of love, forgiveness and grace.

* Music will be exciting, a variety of styles, sometimes with a band and other times with just one instrument. We love to sing and worship the Lord together.

* Teaching will be interesting and wide in perspective. We try to keep it simple and practical so that no matter where you are on your faith journey, you can understand and learn. One of our 3 Pastors may be preaching as well as some great communicators from Katy and beyond.

     Sometimes you just have to take a step. That’s the case with so many things in life. When we started Creekside Community on Easter of 2010, we decided that we would take steps. These steps would move us towards our vision of creating a church where un-churched, de-churched, skeptical, seeking and convinced people would walk a journey of faith together while serving the community. We have tried many things along the way. Some steps have been great and small leaps that yielded great results. Others have brought nothing to the table except a lesson on what NOT to do.

     Growing as a person in any area of life takes small, simple steps for the most part. But these steps are so much easier in a life of community where others come alongside and cheer you on. That’s the kind of people who are attracted to Creekside Community Church. And I think you’d like it, too, no matter where you are on your faith journey.

LifeGroups are small groups of people who meet to grow in their relationships: their relationship to God, to others and to the world around them. In a LifeGroup you will get to know 10-12 other people who are walking through life and learning about God’s purpose for them. You will experience the Bible interactively, pray together and probably even eat something good. We believe that the only way to grow is together!
