Recently, I’ve been uber busy! Last week I got sick around Tuesday, so production on Criminal Impulse was halted, I then went home for the weekend to visit the family. Got back Sunday night and finished up homework, did homework all last night, and did homework most of tonight. I can finally do a little work before I go to bed tonight, but not much, theres really not much time.

Tomorrow is my last real hard day of classes so I should have some free time coming up. I have only one class on Thursday and Friday and no assignments due in either of them. I should hopefully finish up Criminal Impulse crimes tonight or tomorrow depending on when I go to bed tonight. Hopefully not too late, I have to get up at 7am.

I am also starting a new sort of entertainment for myself and for you, called the “Interesting Find Of The Day”. Simply put, I browse the internet daily, looking for interesting things and sometimes I stumble across something truly remarkable, that is worth sharing. This is what I plan on sharing. Usually its a website but sometimes it will be videos, comics, tshirt designs, etc. All depends on my mood.

While it may just seem like an ordinary website, it is actually a money making machine in disguise! I found out through a few inside sources that someone offered to purchase this site from the current owners. Can you guess how much they offered? Whatever you are thinking, triple it(still most likely very low in comparison). They offered $230,000 to buy this site from the owners, and guess what, they denied the buyout! Why? Because they make more than that, duh! If you sign up to this site you will see that the site has an extremely nice template, I’m sure they paid top dollar for it as it is very very good and 100% unique as far as I can tell. But where do they make their money? Donations, like any other game. And when they have 4,000+ users on daily it tends to add up. Donations are only $3/month though, how are they making so much? It’s not just the items and donator days they sell that brings in money, it’s the stupid crap that some people find necessary to purchase. They actually sell html/image usernames. Tired of using a boring text name? Well you can buy a customized image that will replace your username! Guess how much this costs? That’s right, only one small down payment of $75.00! And to top that off, hundreds of users on the game have it! Not only are they making bank off of simple images, they have referral contests to keep new users coming in over and over. The prize that goes to the winner of this months competition is a Playstation 3. Could you imagine having a simple text game that could afford to give away $500 gaming consoles?

Oh let’s see… what has happened recently…. not much has really happened other than me doing a bit of homework mixed in with some coding. I got quite a bit done on that TitanGPT script although it is not fully complete. I have been focusing most of my coding/working on CriminalImpulse because there is really not much more to do before I release it, and I have no income currently while still paying for a $170/month server!

I have stated hopeful release dates numerous times and still have no solid date where I feel confident that it will be done. Hopefully next week some time though, I won’t really leave much time to wait for it to open, but I do have $500 going into advertising so hopefully it gets out there quick! It’s pretty addicting so maybe even you will be interested.

My day on mondays starts at 7am as I stumble out of bed and get ready to walk to class by 8am. Today I was a bit more awake than usual and it was rather easy waking up. Got my stuff around and headed to class, until 2pm which is when my final class ends of the four I had today.

When I got back to my room I immediately started working, and that is pretty much all I have done since.  Myself and Enigma spent the night working on TitanGPT.com, which is our latest site. We are turning it into a script and selling it so perhaps those who aren’t so great at coding, can have a website of their own. Fully functional admin panel where you can change every aspect of the site(except the overall layout of course).

You can expect this script to be done and ready for sale within probably a week as it won’t take us long to create a PTC. We have done it in the past in 2 weeks without prior knowledge to what we were doing, I’m sure we can handle it now in a week since we know a bit more. Quite a few of the things are done but the biggest challenge is going to be the admin panel as we are going to make it very extensive. Running cost for this script shouldn’t be too awful much but we will also install it to your server for you for only $5-$10 extra, that way you know you get it installed correctly the first time.

Also I came across a website that sold today that struck me rather odd. http://www.starfleetz.com/ sold today for $3,500. There are not even 2,000 members total and only about 15 online at the most at any given time. Why in the world would anyone purchase it for $3,500.00? Post your comments and thoughts on this as it just blew me away.

Well let’s start from the beginning, Friday night. Friday night myself and two friends headed out for a few parties, as most college students do. I stumbled it around 3-5(somewhere in there) and went to bed. During the night myself and my friends were seperated so I ended up walking back alone, and as it turns out, my friends got into a bit of trouble with the law(whoops).

Saturday I just sat around my dorm all day, working on a few websites and enjoying myself, it’s the weekend and I didn’t feel like doing anything too serious. Saturday night I might up with some friends I hadn’t seen in a while and we hung out, nothing really happened, no trouble with the law or any of that nonsense.

Sunday my girlfriend drove up to see me and I finished up my homework for the weekend, and here I sit. Nothing really interesting going on in my life right now, just class and boredom.

Feedburner did decide to take a dive on me this weekend as you can tell. The feedburner count is at 0 but if you try to sign up with the email you were signed up with before, it says that email is already subscribed to this blog. So, I’m guessing the error will clear itself up in a day or so, I hope. I also received my ChaCha debit card which I have about $100 on which is a nice little bonus to the little amount of money I have left after tuition.

Right now I think I will just order a pizza since the dining halls are closed, perhaps watch some TV and head to sleep for the night. Class at 8am tomorrow and I hope to be in bed around 12 or 1am.

Now that may seem like plenty of sleep for most of you, or even more than you are normally used to, but in my case, that is practically nothing. Normally I have 10-12 hours of sleep per night, and I had about half of that today, which completely ruined my chances of understanding Trigonometry class, which I am slowly understanding less and less of.

But, I think swapping one class for about $3,000+ was a good trade, especially when I have to pay tuition fees still. And, I can always get a tutor for math anytime, which I will probably do next monday once the tutoring area is open again.

As for right now, I’m going to finish up the crimes on Criminal Impulse so I can release it this sunday perhaps. If you need me email me(on CronWerks) or email me and ask for my MSN, I’m always open to talking to new people.

I have a whole new theory on the blog this time around and I don’t plan on monetizing it although I will be keeping track of how much the blog earns over each month. If you were interested, I made $150 total in a month the last time I had this blog online. While it is a decent amount just for posting a few articles, it’s nothing in comparison to the people that blog for a living.

Instead I plan to sell real ads on my advertising spots this time. I am going to sell ads to people looking to boost traffic to their site, or I just won’t put an ad there at all, and I will leave it blank. I don’t want to push advertising on everyone and I won’t be putting any more ads in the articles itself, unless someone specifically wishes to advertise there.

My blog is mostly going to be related to everything that I do, every day. My college classes, my partying(I am a normal college student), parts of my personal life, and of course my business life and workings. If I find something interesting online one day, I will post it. If I just sat around all day twiddling my thumbs, I will give you play-by-play commentary on it.

I want you all to see exactly what I do, and see that even a normal everyday college student can make a living online.
