It’s almost here!!  Our 5th Annual Gathering Room Gallery Night at The Cruise Restaurant!  This popular art show has grown this year to include one of a kind watercolors, jewelry, ceramics, photography, mixed media and more by such talented artists as Linda Gerard Dzik, Jennifer Katherine Dzik,  Terry O’Neill, Jeanne Bass, Cindy Lesky, Stacey Sibilski, and Kathy Kerner.

These local artist produce some really unique pieces that will be available for sale for your personal enjoyment as well as the upcoming holiday gift giving season. Linda Gerard Dzik has created some new works this year that she is really excited to share them with you.

The Cruise’s goal is to provide the Waterford area with quality art from local artisans. Our local art show is gaining in popularity – drawing viewers from the Waterford, Racine, Milwaukee and New Berlin areas.  Be sure to arrive early – maybe join us for drinks, appetizers and dinner.  It’s going to be a fun evening.

Also, carpooling is a good idea, since that night our parking lot fills up faster than most other nights.

Our chef, Shawn Ronkoski, is preparing chocolate and fruit pizzas which will serve as the focal point for this new eating contest.  The contestants have yet to be announced but, of course, the winner will be determined by the one who eats the most of their chocolate and fruit pizza during the set time period.  Shawn is also preparing pizza to be shared with the crowd.

In addition to being able to sample the chocolate and fruit pizza, audience members may receive a coupon for one of our free small pizzas.  One hundred and fifty coupons will be available at each of the competitions which will take place on Sunday from 6pm to 7pm and again on Monday from 3pm to 4pm.  See the ChocolateFest website for specific days and times of operation during this Memorial Day weekend.

There are 4 new local artists joining the show this year. We have a wonderful variety of art for you to view and purchase for yourself or as gifts. I personally have some new pieces that I am excited to share with you. Come for an enjoyable night of art, socializing, drinks and/or appetizers or dinner.

The goal of this show has always been to provide the area with quality art from local artisans. The show is gaining visibility and more artists are inquiring about participating which is exciting! Thanks for helping to put Tichigan on the map as a destination for a fun evening out!
