* He infuriated Muslims when he referred to the Prophet Muhammad as “evil and inhuman”. (We need to be embracing Muslims, not further marginalizing them).
* He pissed off the Turks when he spoke out against Turkey’s accession to the EU.
* And, he angered Christians everywhere when he asserted that Catholicism was the one true faith. Catholics already suffer enough resentment from other denominations (especially Protestants) without having to worry about our Pontiff making arrogant statements such as this.

At times Benedict has appeared to be unqualified to serve as Pope because he just doesn’t seem to understand the enormous weight that his words carry or the required diplomacy of his position.

Its almost as if he’s isolating the Catholic Church from the rest of the world, fanning the flames of hatred against Catholics.

he is already being called “The Great”—the miracles do not make a difference as far as who he is a patron for (clarification: he definitely needs the miracles but can be any type of miracle and they do not define what he is a Saint of) and he very well could be a patron for several different causes.
