I left because I was sure no one is reading this.

Which they still aren't

However, I just didn't feel right leaving this blog all alone. I've been considering starting a twitter as well. But I've run into the same problem as I've had here. No one reads it....

Maybe I just need to be more patient. But still its frustrating because I'd love for people to read what I'm saying. Obviously....or why else would I have had a blog

I did however start another thing, which is a Tumblr. I don't really know much about this website but I've seen lots of people use it so I started.

Because apparently peer pressure gets to me.

So my Tumblr is going to be all about my life as a senior and getting ready for college and blah blah blah.

Its Deegoestocollege.tumblr.com

This blog is really just a hodgepodge (love that word) of nonsense that comes out of my mouth.

So if you like it....you should follow this blog. So I know someone out there is listening.

Quit judging me. I just love British shows! Yes, in case you didn't know Skins was a very popular show in the U.K. So when it came to America I though "Ooo this will be like the Office!" ( another originally British show)

I was wrong.

I mean let's be real. This is MTV, so my expectations weren't high at all. But they managed to end all my hope for mankind.

My main issue with Skins was I wasn't sure if they were serious or not--was that supposed to be what teenagers are like in real life?

Because I don't know what school you went to...but at mine that stuff just doesn't happen. People don't party like that, nor do they deal with all this "we must take his virginity" nonsense. And people don't just sleep with other people because some guy says so, no matter how charismatic. Girls just aren't that dramatic and damaged, at least out loud. And where I'm from random ugly guys don't hang out with the hottest guy in school, oh and redheads are NOT a hot commodity. Also cheerleaders don't practice with Bluetooths.

Everybody loves redheads??

And of course if they weren't serious then they've successfully become apart of the problem. When teenagers see other teenagers behaving that way they want to imitate them. Because believe it or not to some kids the Skins people look like they are having a good time, living an enviable life. Sure stuff goes wrong, but they're making memories and being young. And so maybe doing drug deals with crazy old men (or doing drug deals at all) isn't what we should put on TV.

I never thought I'd say I miss Jersey Shore but I do. Because at least there it is well known that the "Guidos" are over 21, suffer consequences sometimes and don't (on camera at least) use drugs. But on Skins all that goes out the window.

On a side note....how is that allowed on TV at all? Seriously? This is basic cable. I thought I was watching HBO.

Nice try MTV. No really, I'm sure you've addicted thousands of viewers to your mindless teenage-pseudo-soap opera-"real life"-teens behaving badly-psycho babble. But if you ask me, you should stick to music.

And I don't mean in a good way. There was a time when Music Television played music (shocking I know). Now, it isn't that I particularly hate MTV's content right now. But sometimes I just miss the old days when I could turn it on and dance around the room to the latest Michael Jackson song.
YouTube is similar. I started watching YouTube when it was mostly obnoxious teenage boys with skateboards doing ridiculous stunts and getting injured. Since then it has blossomed. I mean now you can learn to do anything on YouTube, including surgery ( I know right? That's just wrong). YouTube is everywhere. On our TV, in the news, and on our cellphones. And I have benefitted, I learned to knit, apply make-up and of course I watch Ray William Johnson on Equals 3. With all that though, YouTube has lost a lot of what made it great. You can't click on anything with out a huge advertisement attacking you. Half of the people posting things are getting paid. Its just not real anymore. I understant that YouTube is a company, and they want to make money, but they seem to forget sometimes about what made them so famous in the first place.

Okay there. That's my little spiel on evil cooperations and "the man" and capitalism. Hippie moment over.

All the ads and stuff are to be expected. But what really irritates me is how the people on YouTube act. It's turned into cyber-bully central. You might remember me talking about Michelle Phan and her make-up tutorials and Wendy the blogger from Singapore. So I'm not saying that I agree with everything they do, but if you go to their video together its just ridiculous. Sooo many people have dedicated their time to talking about how ugly they are or their voices or picking apart everything they say! It's like oh my god do you not have anything better to do than hate on two girls you've never met because you don't like their choice of eyeliner?? Seriously? And on top of that people are vicious to other commenters! There's seriously like all out name-calling wars on there. It's so stupid!

People if you have nothing better to do than verbally assault someone on YouTube you need to find a life!

Wow. That was longer than expected. Sorry guys I'll stop ranting and get off my soapbox now

Top 5 Most Majestic Voices in Hollywood

Sometimes in Hollywood a person can have no talent and make it as long as they are pretty ( Megan Fox). Sometimes a person can be hideous but the best actor ever and make it ( Maggie Gyllenhaal).

But for some men, all you need is a really majestic voice.

#5 The Allstate Man ( Dennis Haybert)
Insurance is for safety, safety come from confidence, confidence comes from having someone to trust, and who doesn't trust a majestic voiced black guy? Exactly. I'm not the least bit ashamed to admit I switched to Allstate after this commercial. Don't pretend like you didn't too.
I mean come on, the man literally played God, pretty big shoes to fill. Question: How many of you care about the breeding cycle of a penguin? Answer: Few. Question: How many of you saw March of the Penguins? Answer: Many. Guess why? And it has nothing to do with penguins. On a side note please do not confuse Morgan Freeman with South African president Nelson Mandela.

James Earl Jones. And don't let the smile fool you. You are looking at the voice of pure evil. Darth Vader, striking fear into the hearts of children for generations. Yet that same voice made grown men cry in The Lion King. The store that has amazing clothing that's cute, trendy--but not too trendy, with wonderful prices and selection.

Well thanks to Facebook I've found my HG store.

Its called Modcloth.com
When I saw it, it was as if someone said "Yes, Deonna, there is a Santa Clause"

Seafaring Stunner 69.99

Don't get me wrong, Modcloth is not for everyone. It has a very retro 1940's-1950's feel and doesn't have what most people would call casual wear

Anyway, here are a few reasons why I love it:

Modcloth is like stepping into a time-capsule. Suddenly, your not boring-old-sweatpants wearing-tennis shoe shopping- only lipgloss wearing Pam from New Jersey,

You my friend, are Lana Turner. Your hair is fab, your outfit matches your purse, you wear lipstick, live in New York and you wear high-heels to run errands.

Hello, Operator phone 69.99

If your super into looking unique this is the place to go. Everything there is original, and I'm not talking "oh I went to a boutique so I'm cool" original. I mean "oh my goodness not only do I stand out but I'm also the best dressed person in the room" kinda original.

Not only do they have adorable clothing, they also have shoes, accessorizes and home decor.

On the page they have a ton of useful information, like lifestyle advice and hair and make-up tips.

In any case, I love Modcloth. And you should too. Get out of the mall and start dressing like an original!

Can we just take a second to talk about Camille Grammer?
First of all, I feel ridiculous because shes not even a celebrity, shes a reality TV bimbo. But I felt like Celeb Talk was an appropriate place to put this anyway.

Seriously?

So here's the deal with Camille...she's not attractive. Like at all. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I'm confused as to why everyone thinks that she's so pretty when she looks like a drag queen with plastic surgery. I mean I'm not here to judge a nip and tuck here and there. But her's doesn't even look good! And her skin... ew! learn to apply sunscreen and go to a dermatologist for goodness sakes!
For those of you that have seen The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I'm sure you understand why I don't like her.
#1 Why does a person with no job need four nannies? Seriously. Her children are school age, it's not like she has a job or a bunch of babies! Why is it exactly that she can't raise her own children? What are you so busy doing Camille? Working on your "dancing" career?
#2 Speaking of "dancing" I love how she refers to herself as a "dancer" when she was stripper. Not exactly Swan Lake. Congratulations, you can hop about while naked. Aim high.
#3 The woman is 42 and it's clear that she wasn't given the attention she needed as a child because now she's just desperate. A 22 year old being desperate is just kids being kids. A 42 year old being desperate is just pathetic.
#4 Speaking of desperate why does she need to have attention so badly? On the show she's flirting with everyone's husband other than her own, marching about like her body is the best thing since sliced bread and acting like she's God's gift to mankind!.
Sweetie. Your 42. Not 22. LET IT GO! yes you were a "dancer" but now, your old! Your famous for being a gold-digger! And that fame will last about 15 more minutes. Do yourself a favor, go back to school, learn to do something other than flip your hair and raise your own children!
Good luck on that divorce settlement!

I have to say I'm a Crest girl

So I went to my first Bat Mitzvah (is it capitalized?) on Saturday. Now I haven't been to one yet and I was very excited, but at the same time pretty nervous. First I thought, well this is awkward, I'm not Jewish... am I allowed to come anyway? But it was one of my best friends ( she's not 13, shes much older but just now decided to do it). So I knew I just had to go. I thought it'd be weird because a lot of the ceremony was in Hebrew which as you can imagine I don't speak. My primary concern (vain as it my be) was what I was going to wear. I knew it was dressy but how dressy? Could I wear some boots and skinny jeans or did I have to wear a dress? Am I allowed to wear pants? How conservative are these things anyway? It was quite the dilemma. In the end I settled on some fab cognac ankle boots, ivory tights and a hunter green jumper (I'm determined to popularize the term "jumper" in America). My outfit turned out to be right on (thank goodness). Still I didn't know what to expect. To my great enjoyment the ceremony was very beautiful. I was worried that me not being Jewish would make all the religious talk uncomfortable but as it turns out I had a really great time. There were dozens of Jew jokes, half of which I didn't get but I just laughed accordingly, and it was very relaxed. The kiddish (lunch) was just amazing. We had kosher (of course) food and an amazing apricot cake. My favorite bit was when my friends wacky Grandpa cornered me and chatted my ear off about his time in WWII. It was a total sitcom moment. Not to be outdone her other Grandpa (who is not Jewish, just confused) decided to talk to me for ten minutes about the differences between Crest and Colgate toothpaste, hey, there's one in every family. After the ceremony everyone went home for a while only to return in the evening for a party. The party was just like any other accept we hoisted her up on a chair. I thought for sure she was a goner but she managed to make it through her ride in one piece. We danced to good music for a few hours and then ate more yummy Jewish food.

Over all it was a fiesta. I'm super glad I went.

Moral: if you get invited to a Bat Mitzvah GO!

Mostly because I saw this outrageous photo of the Kardashian family. First I can't lie... I watch the Kardashians. Yeah I'm embarrassed but we all have guilty pleasures so stop judging me. Now just because I watch doesn't mean that I think anyone should be famous for having a big butt or doing a sex tape. And I know I'm just feeding into the evil Kardashian fame machine by bothering to comment. That being said I couldn't sit by and not comment on this disturbing image. View discretion is advised.

I'm going to start with the obvious. Your probably asking "why is Kourtney dresses like a man?" Well kids that's an excellent question. One I'm not sure how to answer. Lets look at the facts:
Kourtney ( also how obnoxious is it that Kris loved her name with a "K" so much she decided to brand her children?) Clearly isn't the brightest bulb in the tanning bed. Shes dating a guy who among other things:

has clear anger management issues,

punches walls and stuff money down innocent bar-tenders throats.

has regularly said degrading and rude comments to/about her family, particularly her sister.

to top it all off: dresses like Fred from Scooby-Doo.

So her judgment is suspect-at best.

Now Kris has raised six lovely children who:
Have sex tapes
Have been arrested for DUI
Have anger issues
Are in relationships with sociopaths
Marry after knowing a person for a month
With that track record you'd think now was the time to reevaluate your parenting style. But not Kris, shes sticking to her guns.
You might have noticed the girl to the left of Kim ( you know, who's dressed as a lounge singer?). That would be her 13 year old sister. Now I ask you, what's wrong with this child's parents? What was her father thinking when she left the house ready for a saloon? 13 people! she's in the 7th grade! is that how a 7th grader should dress? You might say no but apparently the Kardashians grow up fast, Consider this picture:

It's 10PM, do you know where your 14 year old is?

It's like they just don't learn their lesson. This could easily be in Victoria Secret. This one is 14! Not even in high school! Now from what I've seen in the show the little ones are not as bad as their sisters, but judging from this picture I could be wrong.

Kris, look at your life, look at your choices. It seems you've created another monster.
Good luck.

I'm posting this 8 days before Christmas and if you are still have no idea what your getting everyone, you're probably freaking out. Well have no fear. I've come to save the day.
So I already posted about some homemade gifts which are groovy, but right now I'm going to talk about some things you can buy because hey, maybe you just don't have time. So here we go:
Disclaimer: I'm not saying that everything here is at the lowest price, nor an I assuring you that it will arrive in time or saying that it's guaranteed in stock. I'm not Google.
For Mom and Dad:
I don't know your Ma and Pa, obviously right? or that'd be creepy, so I just tried to think of some things that are great for any parents:

$29.99 at Best Buy

Digital Photo Frame- these are a great family gift, we all know how sentimental parents can be, make it extra special and set it up for them ( we can't all be tech savvy). This one is from Best Buy, but they are everywhere

So I can't lie the Photo Frame market is pretty saturated, so maybe your parents already have one, a more original gift is a dance class, something romantic like salsa. Go to your local dance studio and buy a private session or maybe pay for some group lessons. This is a kinda cute idea and very romantic (if your parents are into that sorta thing) also consider his and her spa packages or a night in a nice hotel.

If all else fails you can't go wrong at www.findgift.com! They have a feature where you can search by the persons age, occasion or your price range--super convenient. Also try www.personalizationmall.com, if your into the customized gift thing.

For the Kiddies:
So this really depends on the ages of the kids that your shopping for but I'll try to do some stuff for each age group

This is a baby Mac.

Educational: If your into educational toys like myself ( I'm not sure if it actually works, but it makes me feel just a little better about buying a bunch of toys I know will end up at Goodwill in a year) then you can't go wrong with LeapFrog. Seriously, these toys are amazing, they can do so many cool things, basically Leapfrog goes to Best Buy, looks at all the grown-up toys and makes a mini version with Disney characters.
Just like the stuff at Best Buy however, it's pretty pricey. This bad-boy will cost you $50, not including all the games you have to buy.
Crafty: These are the gifts I like best, gifts that are a fun activity for you and your child/grandkid or whoever you know to do together.

Now we can all be Martha (sans jail).

The first stop for these gifts is Micheal's, they have all these amazing kits of things to do and make and they are all pretty cheap. One of the coolest things I've seen around is this lovely little kit from Martha Stewart. I bought mine at Macy's and it was $19.99

Other: I cringe to say it but if you want a gift they'll love, video games are usually pretty solid. Then again if you'd like to be out of the box then you can always go with a classic board game ( what happened to the board game? they are so underrated!)
Fool proof gift: Find out their favorite character or TV show and buy something with that person on it--Viola! They are sure to love it. But for goodness sakes if they say Hannah Montana don't do it!

For Everyone Else:
Gift Cards! Okay, I know it sounds lame. But I don't mean just a gift card to McDonald's. Get them a gift card to somewhere they really love. A new couple might like on for World Market or Bed Bath and Beyond. Trendsetters might like Modcloth.com or H&M or Saks. Think of places like Starbucks, a local vineyard, Williams-Sonoma. Up the ante by getting it to somewhere unique.

Well that's all folks. There are also some groovy ideas in my Black Friday post.
Good luck and happy shopping.

So basically this all started when I was at our local 3-on-3 basketball tournament. There was this team dressed in what appeared to be mesh body suits covering them from head to toe. Obviously my first reaction was to ask where I could buy one. The boy just shrugged and said he got it for Christmas--sidebar, he has the best parents ever!
I can't quite explain why I love these bizarre bodysuits so much. But I'm sure after looking at this photo you'll agree with me:

I mean need I say more?
These nifty little buggers do however cost $50, upwards of that for the pattern ones. But some how, I feel like they are worth every penny.

This is a great last minute Christmas idea for anyone with a sense of humor, or a personality at all for that matter. So scoot on over to www.morphsuits.com. You can also pick up wacky accessories if you feel like being a big spender.

Anywho, just thought I'd share that with the world.
What are little girls going to think when they see this woman and hear that shes supposed to be fat?
This is exactly what's wrong with people these days, you see a ballerina who weights more than 82 1/2lbs and everyone goes crazy! I mean look at this video! Go on, look!
http://www.hulu.com/watch/200273/nbc-today-show-‘fat’-ballerina-‘i’m-not-overweight’
Did you watch it?
What exactly does that make the rest of us? Dumbo?
I mean come on.
The really sad part is we are focusing on the fact that she may have eaten an extra spear of broccoli instead of the fact that her performance was AMAZING!
Can you do that?
I didn't think so, so maybe we should quite judging.
As far as I can tell whatever shes eating or not eating is working!
Jesus. Only in America
I encourage everyone reading this to go out and eat a HUGE piece of cake as an act of defiance against the man.

when the fabrics match up exactly, cut a four inch square out of each corner

then cut down about 7 inches every two inches, creating little blocks

create them all the way across

now, tie the layers together...

...and Voila! Instant blanket!

I like to use a solid color on the bottom and a pattern on the top

Idea #2-- How to do a chunky, quick scarf
Projected Cost: about $15 dollars, depending on the yarn and what you already have
Projected Time: about four hours of solid knitting

You Need:

2 Skiens of yarn ( size chunky or extra thick)

size 35 US or bigger needles

to know how to knit--or go to http://www.knittinghelp.com/ to find out

What To Do:

cast on about 10 to 15 stitches

use up both skiens....

...and Ta-Da! A scarf! Easy right?

Idea #3-- Cozy Body Pillow
Projected Cost: about $10

Projected Time: about 30 minutes

You Need:

A sewing machine

5 yards of fabric

3 bags (or one 5lb box) of polyesther fiber-fill

What To Do:

fold the fabric length-wise

the pillow should be about as tall as your shoulders standing up

sew all the way around leaving about a foot of space

stuff the pillow to your desired fluffy-ness

hand sew or machine sew the opening

again instant gift!

So those are some of my favorite quick gifts! Enjoy!

xoxo Dee.

In fact, I find myself pretty tech-savvy. I'm no Bill Gates, but I can operate a computer, smartphone, i(insert over-priced gadget here), and work cable and HD. So maybe it's not that I hate technology, I just hate it when all these new gadgets come with one million strings attached. I'll give you an example:
As ya'll know I got my parents a Blu-ray for Christmas. This all started with Netflix.
So I see the commercial, "stream movies instantly to your TV" Okay good enough. I accept.---oh wait btw you need a Blu-ray.
Fine. I'll buy this lovely one for 59.99---oh and by Blu-ray we mean a fancy expensive one with WiFi buit in
Fine. I'll take this one for 89.99---btw do you have a HDMI cord?
Fine. I'll buy this one for 10.99---also, you need to have a router so the internet signal is all over your house
FINE! TAKE ALL THE MONEY I HAVE!!!
I mean WTH. All I wanted to do was watch Arrested Development! These techy boys make it seem so simple when really there are one million things you have to have/do/buy to make their little gadgets work.
I mean when you look at all the little catches and conditions technology hasn't come that far.
Just sayin'

So as you all know I just love Black Friday (see other post). Its probably one of my favorite times of the year. It means that Christmas is coming, and its something me and all my sisters bond over. This year we started our quest at Best Buy. Usually we go to Target first, but this year I was in the market for a Blu Ray so we started there. The lines were CRAZYY! I mean some of the longest I've seen in years, clearly people are more willing to spend...maybe the recession really is over? My goal is always to get as many people taken care of as possible and maybe pick up a few things for myself. I definitely accomplished this, almost everyone on my list was taken care of. Overall this year was pretty great, I didn't get in any fights though :( Anyway, I'm going to share with you all the things I bought.

Family Gift

So usually what I do for gifts is get my Mom and Dad one joint present, and get my Mom a present on her own (I'm not being mean, he just doesn't like gifts). This year I bought them the Blu Ray above. Its an Insignia and I'm not sure if that's a good brand or not so maybe you guys can let me know if I made a good choice. It seems cool enough and it streams Netflix so that's really all that matters. The Blu Ray was $89.99 at Best Buy and a really good deal (or so I'm told).

Mom's Gift

The cover is promising

A little about my Mom, she's a complete nerd and is really into second chance at love kinda movies, so I bought her Last Chance Harvey. The film is really good and cute and Emma Thomson is in it so what more could you ask for. She also has an unhealthy obsession with Hugh Jackman (though don't we all). So I bought her Australia. Its directed by Baz Luhrman or something, the guy who did Romeo and Juliet so it must be good. (right? leave your comments on the films below). Both films were $7.99 at Borders, also if you haven't been to Borders, check it out, they have some really cool stuff.

So cute.

So that takes care of the 'rents. Every year I have this epic battle about what I'm going to get my sister. This year an idea came to me in a dream (literally). I'm not going to say what it is because she might read this, but its fantastic (I hope). My other sister is super easy every year. On Friday I found this cute wine glass at Macy's that I know she'll just love. The company is Lolita and they make all these cool designs on martini glasses and such by hand. I got this one for $24.99 Check it out they have some really cool ones.

Friend #2

So usually how I do thing is I get something for each of my sisters, Grandma, Friends, Mom and Dad and then everyone else gets different versions of the same homemade gift. So last year everyone got pillows with fabric from their favorite sports teams, the year before I knitted everyone scarves. So this year I decided to make everyone candles, which will be quick, easy and cheap. (I do a lot of crafts, if you'd like posts on how to do these things or more craft ideas comment below).

I really only have three friends that I worry about gifts for.

Friend #2

Friend #1

If you haven't played these little Scene it? games you really should. They are perfect for family or friend gatherings. There are a million versions out there. Comedy, Drama, RomCom, Harry Potter, Disney, Twilight, TCM--basically anything you can think of. Several TV shows also have a version. The one I bought was $29.99, a little steep, but I know my friend will love it. Slumdog Millionaire and 17 Again were $3.99 each at Best Buy.
Friend #3 remains gift-less at this point until I find some inspiration.

For the little baker/designer

My eight year old cousin also gets a special gift. I love this thing because it involves very little mess and allows her to be creative instead of just buying her a video game. This is a little cookie making kit. The cookies are shaped like dresses and shoes and that sort of thing. The great part is if you have a budding fashionista (like me) it allows them to decorate the cookies however. It comes with little stamps too so they can put little patterns on them. So adorable and only $19.99 at Target.

So everyone is covered except my Grandma. I really was stressed about this one because the woman is so bored all day she shops like crazy and has everything. So this is an idea for Grandparents. What I decided to do was gather all the families photos and make a DVD slide show/movie type thing for her to watch. This is great because Grandparents can be very sentimental and always have a million pictures of everything. This way she doesn't have to go through her hundreds of photo albums, she can just watch the DVD. All you have to do is get all the pictures together and go to a store with a photo kiosk ( Wal-Mart, Walgreens, ect.). If your don't want to buy the DVD there (at Wal-Mart it's $3.99) you can bring one. They have a scanner and everything and you just hit the photo-show or slide show option. You scan all your pictures and Viola! Its cheap and is better than just buying something.

Well that's all folks! I had an awesome Black Friday this year and really saved a lot. Leave me a comment about your Black Friday adventures! For more gift ideas--store bought or handmade just leave me a comment!

Oh, Alecia. I've loved you for so long. You used to be soo different and edgy with your short hair and rocky lyrics. I remember when you started out singing kinda R&B-ish. Then you evolved with some cool lyrics and punky baselines. Do you remember the old you Pink? Do you remember when girls around the world would jam out to your music? Now it seems every song you sing is "oh I miss my husband" or "my husband is gone and so I'm going to become a drunkard". I miss you Pink. Maybe now that you're pregnant every song will be "oh breastfeeding sucks" and "I have to pee all the time". Only time will tell. But one day, I'd like the old pink back. Please and thank you.

The whole idea of Black Friday is so beautiful. Every store opens early and people line up around the block to get the best deals. Sure, it might be an example of consumerism and materialism and blah blah blah. But hey its FUN!
Great story from last year: Target had those digital picture frame things on sale for $19.99! Amazing right? and I knew my grandparents would love it. So we got up super early (not early enough though because we were near the end of the line) and waited. BAM! when the doors opened I went straight to the electronics section. I looked to my left and began to panic, some blond chick was headed toward the display. There was only one left! It was like a horse race, dee's in the front, now blond chick, dee's gaining on her....Finally quick and agile as a ninja I snapped up the last one and did a happy dance! WOOOO! Dee-1 Blond-0! My first Black Friday fight and I won! Plus I'm definitely the favorite grand-kid now. Go Me!
I love Black Friday because:
-fun techy gadgets at a low price
-IHOP has free coffee
-awesome way to work off all that turkey and pumpkin pie
The deals are great this year too. Buy a Wii at Walmart and get a 50$ gift card, the famous three dollar toaster is back, and blu rays are only $99- not to mention the doorbusters.
Sure, online you can find good deals, and CyberMonday is getting to be more and more popular, but there's something to be said for getting up at dawn, bundling up in all your winter gear and shopping with all your friends and family.
So... set your clock, wake up your hubby to babysit and break out the credit card!
My Tips:
-check adds the day before
-make a plan
-leave the kids at home---they only add extra weight
-bundle up, but right before they open the doors have someone run the coats to the car, you wanna be able to move in there. trust me
And by "BoobTube" I mean YouTube. I was surfing around watching make-up tutorials by Michelle Phan who is apparently the most famous YouTuber ever or something. Her tutorial was on Disney Princess Halloween make-up--the awkward part is I was watching after Halloween and I have no intention of dressing up as Ariel next year. So why was I watching? She uses all these ridiculous methods and it looks like it would take forever to do, yet I find myself watching all her videos. Why?. So anyway back to the point Michelle had a guest named Wendy, or maybe Wendi but the spelling is irrelevant. Wendy/Wendi is the top blogger in Singapore and Michelle kept plugging her blog so I went to the thing because obviously make-up gurus have some sort of mind control powers. While reading her blog I couldn't help thinking--wow I could write something much more exciting than this nonsense. And we've come full circle. Maybe no on will read this, maybe everyone will and I'll be famous, who knows? In any case The Daily Candy will have a million different types of posts.
Dee Luvs will be, you guessed it, things I like.
Dee Hates will be Dee Luvs' evil twin.
Soapboxx will be me being sassy and telling you what I think about a subject
Dee Says will just be general things on my mind.
Dear____ will be me writing a letter to a person/place or thing--a noun in general really.
Here we go!
