Butch Clancy uses heavy, intricate drums and heavy bass to create a unique sound that he is able to call his own.  Despite his music being on the dark side Dubstep, Clancy is able to keep you on the dance floor with track he mixes/remixes.  Here is his remix of “The Funeral” by the Band of Horses. A couple of months ago I was given the opportunity to see 3LAU during his “3lau Your Mind Tour” and prior to the concert I had only heard one of 3LAU’s Mash-ups.  However, I left the concert with my mind “3LAUn” by the one and only Justin Blau. Enjoy.

With all of the remixes of Clarity, by Zedd, I have to say that this is my favorite because it gets away from the up tempo electro/dubstep remixes and makes me pay even more attention to how beautiful Foxes voice really is. Give it a listen.

With the new year approaching, Hype Machine has just released their “Top Tracks of 2012 Mix”.  In previous years Hype Machine simply released a track list of their favorite songs, but this year they decided to make the change to releasing a mix with a little bit of music for everyone.

Here is perhaps Steve Aoki’s last release of 2012, the 3 track EP titled “It’s the End of the World As We Know It”.  Aoki did a great job of working with artists Angger Dimas, My Name is Kav, Dan Sena, Miss Palmer, and Rune RK to develop songs with great vocals and heavy drops.  If you like what you hear, the EP is now available for purchase on iTunes.

Here is yet another massive track by the one and only Flux Pavilion as he continues to amaze me with the music he has been releasing in the past few months.  The name of the song, “Blow the Roof” is very fitting to the feeling you get after the first drop.  Enjoy responsibly.
