Shila is an Inuit name meaning flame. She is our little nine week old ball of fire. We rescued her from the New Mexico Siberian Husky Rescue after her pregnant mother was found wandering along the interstate. Her mother had five healthy puppies that have been placed in great homes.

I'm Gatsby, a super Cockapoo. Everyone who meets me tells me I look like a little teddy bear come to life. I love to hunt and stalk my toys by crawling on my stomach and then pouncing. I also jump really high. If I get a running start, I can jump onto the back of the couch with one leap. I really loved playing in the snow this winter, and I love other dogs. But the best times are hanging out with Mommy. No matter where she goes, I like to stay close by. She takes one half of the couch and I take the other.

Hi! I love my human and dog family, and I like chewing on the cat's tail. I just learned to sit, and it only took ten minutes! My mom wants me to learn a lot of things because she knows that I am very, very smart. She also tells me how beautiful I am every day, and I lick her face when she does!
