Football seasons over, now what?

Let me start off by saying that Football season is by far the best sporting season of the year. Nothing else even comes close. There are events that are great to watch that might rival it, but as far as a season goes it wins hands down. It's the one time a year where my wife actually schedules things around me watching games. Every year I go through withdrawal and have to figure out how to make up for that void. So here are a couple of things for me to look forward to until next Football season:

Pro Bowl - February 10, Saturday
NBA All-Star Game - February 18, Sunday
UEFA Champions League - February 20, Tuesday through May 23, Wednesday
NFL Combine - February 21, Wednesday through February 27, Tuesday
March Madness - March 11, Sunday through April 2, Monday
NFL Draft - April 28, Saturday & April 29, Sunday
Tour de France - July 7, Saturday through July 29, Sunday
MLB All-Star Game - July 8, Sunday

When all else fails I'll go to the beach. That's usually where you'll find me anyway, but even more so after Football season is over. When you live in San Diego it's hard to stay away, especially if you surf.

A big thanks to Rex Grossman for single handedly losing the Big Game for Chicago...Douche bag! Now that I am over that, I TOTALLY CALLED IT!!

1) Bears rookie Devin Hester returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown ( ask DJR I called that shit! )

2) Rex Grossman would loose the game for Chicago ( Subconsciously I knew this would happen )

3) I would drink 15 cans of Bud light and have a headache all day Monday (yup! ouch! shhhhhhhhhhhhh )

4) DJR would SAY he couldn't find the channel for the Lingerie Bowl but really was just scared of his wife ( VAGINA )

5) And yes of course I knew to wear a diaper after Hot wings, beer and Jalapeño beer cheese soup.

Money

I would just like to remind everyone that prostitution is still legal in Nevada.

And at my condo Monday-Saturday 2pm-11pm

Movies

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of watching a few movies.

Happy feet - a movie about penguins and dancing and some other shit...in the end mankind stops fishing so the birds can eat.

Borat - I laughed until I pissed myself! No wonder
everyone was trying to sue him, he fucked them all up in this movie proving how ignorant some of our population actually is.

Casino Royal - If you are a guy and do not watch this movie, you should just shove a tampon up your butt and wear a damn dress...This movie kicked so much ass!

SuperBowl - Closing Thoughts

Why the hell am I at work right now? Today should definitely be a holiday.

First off, so much for Miami being the perfect city to host the SuperBowl. It was SloppyBowl and was apparent with all of the turnovers. I realize that Miami is one of the better places to live on this Earth, but wouldn't it have been better to have not played in a monsoon? (Especially for Sexy Rexy!!!) Just as most of us thought, he sucks and can't get it done. The rain only added to how much he sucks. He might as well have been the punter. He kicked the ball as much as he threw it. The only good thing for Rex is that he must not be gay because he can't handle wet balls. The game pretty much went how I thought it would. Lets take a look back at my predictions and see how far I was off:

1. The Bears will score first (Right on here, although I thought it would be a field goal)

2. Rex Grossman is not a good quarterback and will be dropped kicked by either Dwight Freeney or Cato June (I was wrong it was Booger McFarland)

3. Peyton Manning will throw at least 2 touchdowns (one to Dan Klecko) (He had a chance to throw 2 but it was more of a ground game because of the rain)

4. Brian Urlacher is a super-freak and will cause a turnover or two (Should have picked off that one ball but he did have 10 tackles.)

5. The Bears will lead at half-time (13-10) (Indy led 16-14)

5. At halftime Prince will finally come out of the closet (What kind of statement was he making with the reverse bandana look? Is he a cholo now? He didn't announce it to the world but come on.)

6. Dominick Rhodes will score a rushing touchdown and not Joseph Addai (Right again!)

7. Bernard Berrian will have more catches than Mushin Muhammed (neither will score) (Berrian did have more catches than Moose but Moose did get the TD.)

8. Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson will both score (Very disappointed here. Thomas Jones should have scored on the series where he had the long run but he couldn't punch it in. The game may have been different if Cedric Benson didn't get hurt early.)

9. The referees will blow more than one call (I was wrong here. The referees actually let them play. Nice work!)

10. Final score: Indy (27) Bears (23) (29-17. Not bad here. It could have been worse. If Rex Grossman didn't throw rainbows so much they might have scored again.)

Other Thoughts:

Bud Light + Chicken wings = MudButt

I missed the lingerie bowl! I couldn't find what Channel it was on. (I'm sure my wife wouldn't have been thrilled anyway.) I'm trying to find some pics but there aren't many out there. Maybe by tomorrow they will be all over the internet. Here's one:

Unforunately, the best commercial (in my opinion) during the SuperBowl was the KFed one. That was the only one that stood out to me. The commercials pretty much sucked overall.

I went 4 out of 8 on my bets on Bodog and won my money back. I always seem to just break even.

All in all it was an average SuperBowl and the Colts finally won something. Now we don't have to hear about Peyton Manning never winning the big game and we can focus on something else that doesn't matter (like Brett Favre retiring).

OK! my brother and boyfriend are pressuring me to write another blog so here goes..

Since many of you dont know me I'm going to tell you a little about myself..

~ I love Photography, its my passion and something I do whenever I have time.. I'm not a professional or anything YET! but hoping some day soon I can get to school to learn more about it and become something great.. I like digital cameras, but nothing could be better than my 35mm Nikon N55.. Although I haven't used it lately, spending too much time with my digital.. I would post some of my pictures, but I dont have to many scanned into this computer.. Actually the last post I did has a picture I took when I was in Lake Tahoe over 3 yrs ago.. I love that picture.. So many beautiful colors.. and the one along with this post is of a waterfall in my hometown of Honesdale..

I will share some more soon.. =)

SuperBowl Wings

Only 2 more days till the SuperBowl! I don't know about everyone else but as for me I can't go without chicken wings during the SuperBowl (it's kind of a tradition). I just found a recipe for wings from a guy that I watch on TV who is pretty funny. He uses all these really simple recipes to make some really good food. His recipe for wings looks like this:

Ingredients:

* 3 pounds chicken wings
* 1/2 cup honey
* 1/4 cup butter
* 6 ounces Louisiana-style hot sauce
* 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
* salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

1. Place wings on tin foil on a large baking sheet and broil until done - about 10 minutes a side - more if frozen
2. While they're cooking, put remaining ingredients in a small pot and simmer for about 15 minutes
3. When wings are done, mix them in batches with the sauce in large bowl
4. Place wings in serving bowl with some of the sauce
5. You better go make some more, you'll need them!

What has this world come to? When Anakin Skywalker is getting Sienna Miller I know we are living in Bizarro World. I just read an article that talked about Sienna and Hayden Christensen actually getting busy in one of their scenes in their upcoming movie "Factory Girl". You have got to be kidding me. Supposedly they were a couple during the production of the movie and the scene looks super realistic. They are of course denying reports that it was real. SuperBowl XLI Predictions

First off let me start by saying I will get to at least one SuperBowl in my lifetime. I should have gone to the SuperBowl when it was last hosted here (San Diego), but I definitely didn't have enough cash at the time. I think it's one of those things that everyone should do before they die (just behind party at the Playboy Mansion).

So here are my predictions for the upcoming SuperBowl:

1. The Bears will score first

Other thoughts:

They need to have better looking sideline reporters for the SuperBowl. Supposedly the sideline reporters will be Lesley Visser and Sam Ryan.
And why can't we get Lisa Dergan to do the reporting? We all know that they want attractive looking people on the sidelines so stop half-assing it and hook it up.
