This tutorial will show you how to get the best results when using the KJV simple search parallel Bible to read, study or research the Bible for better understanding of the word of God.

The first thing I would like to point out about the simple search parallel Bible as it compares to other online Bibles is the clean pure look and feel of the webpage.

How To Grow The 9 Fruits Of Your Spirit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

The fruits of the spirit are actions that are practiced from the bottom all the way up.

Because each fruit adds new qualities as well as the qualities of the previous fruit.

For instance the top fruit; which is love and defined by mercy also has the qualities of joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

Then next is joy which is defined by hope and has the qualities of peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance... so on and so forth.

In this article I will explain how you can practice doing all 9 fruits of the spirit and that way get much closer to God.

Temperance - Be Patient - 1

Proverbs 8:34 Blessed is the man who heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

The only real way to develop patience is to wait on the lord by meditating on His word everyday and paying attention so you can recognize when His word works the way He said it would.

Meekness - Be Humble - 2

Proverbs 16:19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

A lot of people get stuck on this step because of pride; unable to let go of past hurts and bad experiences and since they didn't develop any patience they are easily enticed by the lure of quick gain and fall prey to worthless addictions. Faith - Remain Loyal - 3

Proverbs 25:19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

And of course you can't stay loyal to God without patience and humility. A lot of people betray God on this step from fear of missing out on worldly temptations, desires and lusts.

Goodness - Be Obedient - 4

Proverbs 21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

You can't obey God without faith in His word and that's why the Bible says it's impossible to please Him without faith, and just like Jesus demonstrated the more faith you develop the more obedient you'll become.

Gentleness - Be Considerate - 5

Proverbs 19:22 The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.

An obedient servant of God is a gentle and considerate servant. I never trust a person who is harsh and inconsiderate of others regardless of what church they attend.

Longsuffering - Endure Injustice - 6

Proverbs 20:22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and He shall save thee.

A considerate person can endure a lot of unfairness, injustice, pain and suffering because they understand what God is trying to do, while they wait for God to put all the pieces in place to bless a lot of people because of them.

Peace - Remain Calm 7

Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

A man who can endure injustice and stay calm without cussing everybody out and threatening to kill or sue everybody is without a doubt at peace with the word of God.

Joy - Stay Hopeful- 8

Proverbs 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

And after peace there is the next level of peace which is joy or uncontrollable hope. So now, not only did you not cuss and threaten everybody you blessed them with kind words despite their evil intentions.

Love - Be Merciful - 9

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

And last we have love where you hold your peace in stressful situations and stay calm, and where you bless the people who are being unfair to you, and then you take it a step further by doing something to help them solve their problem with no hope of any return from them.

Turn Faith, Hope And Love Into Peace, Joy And Mercy

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. I Corinthians 13:13

The More Faith In God You Get The More Peace You'll Have.

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalms 119:165.

The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the word of God and for the ones who love God's word by feeding on it everyday, the word is capable of bringing them great peace to the point of no offense.

Imagine the type of peace that allows you to avoid getting provoked into anger or sin because of some horrible unexpected event or something someone else did wrong?

Like the type of peace Jesus talked about when He preached about turning the other cheek, giving more than what's demanded of you, and going two miles with someone when they only asked you to go one. (Matt. 5:38-42).

This type of peace in life is very possible but can only be obtained from much reading, studying and meditating in the word of God.

Because the consistency of getting understanding of the word of God destroys every fear, concern or confusion you might have and allows God to grant you perfect peace. (Isa 26:7).

The bottom line is this, if you want to become a more peaceful person of God then you'll have to cut back on TV, radio and the Internet to make time to understand the word of God.

The Bible says that when your ways please God even your enemies will be at peace with you. (Pro 16:7).

The More You Hope In The Word Of God The More Joy You'll Have.

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. Proverbs 10:28.

When you gain an understanding of the word of God there comes a time when you see how opposite it is compared to the world around you.

You then become faced with questions like:

Do I really want to continue to hang around people who don't acknowledge God?

And do I really want to continue to trust in my own understanding of why things are the way they are in life?

And do I really want to continue to pursue money, bad relationships, and materialistic things?

Or should I give all that stuff up and put my trust in God and hope in His goodness, generosity, kindness and make good things pursue me.

That is to say, if you make the Lord your only hope He will bring you great joy and happiness.

The More Mercy You Show Towards Others The More Love You'll Have.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7.

It takes humility for you to become merciful.

Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor is humility. Proverbs 18:12.

Which means being merciful is difficult because it goes against your natural tendency to put yourself first.

It takes extra mercy to forgive someone who did you wrong.

It takes extra mercy to give more than what's required.

It takes extra mercy to go that other mile with someone.

It takes extra mercy to bless those who curse you.

It takes extra mercy to do good to those who hate you.

And it takes extra mercy to pray for those who despite-fully use and persecute you.

But Jesus said if you do these things you'll be perfect like your father in heaven is perfect. (Matt 5:48)

Because showing mercy demonstrates the act of love and love is the fulfilling of God's law.(Rom 13:8).

Acknowledge God To Avoid Painful And Costly Mistakes

Have you ever got stuck making a bad decision?

And when you made this bad decision did it snowball out of control to form a serious of unfortunate events?

And did these unfortunate events make your life miserable?

Well I have, and God eventually pulled me through, but it definitely wasn't for the faint hearted.

And to make matters worse all that unnecessary suffering I endured would've been avoided if I would've just listened to God.

I called myself trusting in Him to handle the situation thinking I was doing the right thing.

But I was wrong!

Every time I tried to correct the situation something else got in the way.

I thought I knew what I was doing!

I was being as patient as I could be!

It was just ridiculous!

And all that because of one stupid bad decision that I failed to acknowledge God about.

But anyway, I confess that I learned my lesson.

Thank God.

And hope that this little rant helps someone else avoid pain, suffering and financial loss.

Sometimes we forget how much God really is in control.

Of course now I could slap myself in the back of the head because I should have just went to God about it in prayer, and waited for His guidance and confirmation.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Focus On God To Solve Problems And Get Out Of Trouble.

Thinking about and praising the Lord your God as much as you possibly can all day everyday is a foolproof way for anyone to solve problems, get out of trouble, get protection, and even beat addictions.

Focusing on God to solve problems may sound farfetched but it's actually the best thing you can do to receive unexpected blessings and answers to hard to deal with questions.

MEDITATE On The Word Of God All Day

Isaiah 26:3 States that God will keep you in perfect peace because you keep your mind on Him because you trust in Him, and Psalms 119:165 Says That great peace have they that love God's law and nothing shall offend them.

Everyone has problems, issues and situations that they need solutions for, some are major and others are minor but concentrating on, worrying about, and over analyzing negative things can lead to fear and make things a lot worse than they are.

True trust in God is the ability to not worry about your situation because you know God is in control, is good all the time, will protect you, will offer a way out of trouble and will even solve your problems for you.

Therefore gear your thoughts towards Him and His word at all times, and contrary to popular belief especially in times of trouble and despair.

In Psalms David often refers to God as his rock and redeemer because God always protected and saved him from trouble especially when his son Absalom took over the kingdom and tried to kill him. 2 Samuel 15.

REJOICE In The Word Of God All Day

Psalms 89:16 States That in God's name we will rejoice all the day: and in His righteousness we will be exalted, and Psalms 22:3 says that God inhabits (or is present in) the praises of Israel (His people).

We are His people because we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour.

And if you've never experienced it then let me tell you; praising God most definitely brings His glorious presence, and when He shows up you instantly feel a million times better, you get confirmation that He is with you, and you know that He is taking care of your problems among other blessings.

Because praising God is a form of praying to God and that's why it works exactly the same way.

You don't need a high IQ or a versatile vocabulary to interact with God, just rejoice in His name and in His word.

David said I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Psalms 18:3

Treat People Better By Understanding These Bible Love Quotes

One interesting fact about love is that you can love someone and still treat them really badly.

Especially when they've done something wrong to you.

That way you have an excuse to do something a lot worse to them.

But practicing love according to the Bible is difficult because it requires you to take on the burden and assault of other people.

Love Suffers A Long Time, Is Kind, Is Not Envious, Boastful Or Proud.

Love has to be patient resisting the urge to be angry, love needs to be kind at all times by not being envious of others, bragging about your accomplishments or being excessively proud of who you are.

Jesus is the son of God, (it doesn't get any higher than that) but He didn't walk around Judea proclaiming how important He was, where He came from or what He had the power to do when He was here on earth.

Even His disciples had to figure it out for themselves and they spent a lot of time around Him.John 6:69.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.

Love Stays Calm, Seeks Other Peoples Wellness, Is Not Provoked Into And Doesn't Think Evil.

How hard is to stay calm when someone is disrespecting you for any reason?

Would your first thought be that this person obviously has a problem and there has to be something I can do to help them out?

Or would you allow yourself to be provoked into retaliation?

Jesus taught "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matthew 5:44

Jesus was persecuted everywhere He went but you'll never read any stories about how He kicked someones butt or cursed someone out.

He constantly avoided conflict even though He had the authority to call down more than twelve legions of Angels to destroy the wicked if He so desired. Matthew 26:53

1 Corinthians 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.

Love Condemns Sin And Takes Pleasure In The Truth

I think a lot of people don't realize how guilty we are of not condemning sin and taking pleasure in the truth.

Especially when it has something to do with pre-marital sex.

Needless to say Jesus never had sexual relations with a woman even though He ministered to prostitutes, widows and many other married and single women.

Jesus said "If your right eye causes you to sin pluck it out and if your right hand causes you to sin cut it off " Matthew 5:29-30.

Meaning we need to make a concerted effort to get rid of the things that cause us to sin.

It could be a person, it could be a tv show, it could be a website, it could be a popular song and it could be tons of other stuff depending on how you were raised and what you may like to do.

1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

Love Puts Up With, Believes In, Hopes In, And Continues Through Everything.

Think about how hard it was for Jesus to endure the betrayal, ridicule and torture He had to accept in order to remain obedient to God.

He laid His life on the line in order to overcome the world.

He put up with a lot of suffering and shame all the way to the end in hope and belief that we could all be saved.

He said "There is no greater love than to lay down your life for your friends." John 15:13.

Then He did it.

And we can do the same by not giving up on people and helping them all the way through to the end of their struggles.

While taking on their burdens with them and helping them outlast their suffering with love. 1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Why Building Strong Confidence In The Bible Is So Important?

Proverbs 20:18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

There is without a doubt a whole lot of terrible advice going around and very bad examples being set.

Bad advice may seem good at first because someone else maybe temporarily benefiting from it.

So, that might make you think it will work for you too.

Or better still, you might be hurting due to lack of something and desperately want the results that they're getting.

Especially when you get frustrated and start questioning whether you're doing what's best for yourself and your family when times get rough.

Throw in some financial problems add a little relationship issues, stir it up, and then you're cooking with bad advice from any old body.

And those are the type of opportunities the devil is waiting on.

And I know because I used to fall for it every year around the same time.

But the Lord made me realize two very important things.

One is.

How foolish it is to turn back into the ways of the world instead of turning to Him in time of trouble.

And two.

How long, grueling, painful and tormenting it can be to get back from a backsliding state of mind after you realize you made some very stupid mistakes.

So I learned the hard way that there is no one or nothing that I can depend on more than Him.

The realization really didn't sink in until I meditated on and set my mind to trust in two very important Bible verses.

And they are.

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivereth him out of them all"

And.

"The righteous shall be recompensed in the earth much more the wicked and the sinner."

Then I realized the more ground I made in being obedient to God due to the consistency of Bible reading, meant the more I got attacked over my most excruciating deficiency.

Which made it easy to get sad, then angry, then distracted from the word of God and receive bad advice, go crazy, lose control, and look stupid again.

And that's where your main battle and focus will always be and come back to too.

Because most of the time it's not just about knowing what's right and wrong or what you should or shouldn't do, but being able to do what it takes to trust the word of God enough so God will free you from demonic strongholds and oppression.

Reading the Bible helps you stay on the path of righteousness because righteousness only comes by faith in God.

And spending time reading the Bible is essential to the success of anyone who wants to put their faith in God.

"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"

How To Build Strong Confidence In God?

Isn't the world screwed up?

You can see it.

Evil men destroy lives for profit while innocent babies die because of negligence.

All while the people who have the power to do something about it turn their heads to ignore it.

Meanwhile people are getting tricked into believing what's wrong is right and what's right is wrong.

Even some of the most devout Christians have mistaken the world's way of doing things for the kingdom of God way.

And not because it's a heavily kept secret either but mainly because they can't receive THE WHOLE BIBLE as the truth.

But the reason people can't receive everything in the Bible as the truth is because they are deeply distracted by lies.

And this is all apart of the devils master plan to keep us all from the truth.

There are many rules in the Bible that if you learn, talk about, and follow will add good blessings, happiness, joy and protection to your life.

But they're based on what God inspired men to write in the Bible and not based on what most people think and imagine.

He's God, He makes the rules, and it's up to us to receive and follow them.

Not the other way around.

Psalm 2:1 "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?"

Get to know your rights by reading the Bible everyday and you will teach yourself how to pray, and teach yourself how to obey God.

Joshua 1:8 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

Then all the blessings and happiness and material things will be given to you.

Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Anything that's worth achieving will cost you something, so yes it takes some sacrifice, determination, suffering and resistance but if you can continue to read the Bible everyday there will be a major discovery of revelation knowledge and a good reward waiting for you.

But if your heart is not in it then why should it be acceptable to God?

If you're reading everyday it's easy to recall His promises and think about what He said.

Luke 6:45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."

The more you talk about God the more you'll convince yourself to do His will and the more you'll obey His commandments.

Keep telling yourself how awesome, loving, forgiving and generous God is.

What's more?

The more you read the Bible, the more you talk about God, the more you're obedient to Him, the more you'll see for yourself what God is willing to do for you.

Which equals the more confidence you will gain in Him, His word and His abilities.

The Bible will also keep you from making mistakes and teach you to learn from your mistakes.

Then you can pass it on to your family members, loved ones and friends.

If you read the Bible enough you will fine tune your spirit to obey and recognize true conviction from God.

You will destroy debilitating fears, you will stop blaming others and you will quit making excuses.

You will hear His voice and know how to respond in every situation by turning to Him and not your own or someone else's very limited knowledge.

And that's what true and strong confidence in God is really all about.

Five Sacrifices Of Righteousness To Put Your Trust In The Lord.

Psalms 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

Step # 1 Meditate On The Bible

Creating time to meditate on the Bible is the most important thing to do for anyone who wants to put their trust in the lord.

Proverbs chapter 2 explains how wisdom and knowledge are from God and when you get wisdom in your soul how discretion will keep you from the strange woman and the evil man so you can walk in the way of good men and keep the path of righteousness.

Step # 2 Pray To God Always

The Bible says acknowledge God in all your ways and He will direct your paths.

You might need to break the common misconception of always being on your knees behind closed doors to pray.

Jesus said "And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me." while praying in public. (John 11:42).

And we know Jesus was able to get whatever He asked for in prayer.

Because every miracle Jesus ever performed was prayer based.

Step #3 Fast From Food and Water

Fasting is hard but it's awesome for anyone trying to put their trust in the lord because it allows you to focus on the word of God more intently.

I mean, fasting really gets you tuned in.

It's like an enhancer for your Bible studies and prayer times.

The word of God supernaturally becomes more clearer to you when you study and prayers get answered faster without a doubt.

Step # 4 Go To Church To Unite

Do you have bad experiences with other Churches?

Have you stereotyped every Church because of that?

Step # 5 Tithe Belongs To God

It's an honor to give ten percent of your increase for the good of the kingdom of God.

We know all things belong to God, God has no physical need for money, and no one can out give God.

But money can certainly be leveraged in favor of saving souls and feeding the poor and needy.

You can trust God by putting Him in control of your finances.

Why Is Tithing In The Bible So Offensive?

Tithing is one of those practices that offend people just like fasting, as soon as you start talking about giving up money or food for the good of the kingdom of God, people always get offended.

Some churches don't believe in tithing others do, then they argue about how to use tithes.

And when they don't accept tithes they have to pass the collection plate around extra times each service for freewill offerings or find other ways to pay bills.

Because like it or not churches need money to run just like everything else.

God is not a tyrant if you don't want to tithe because you don't believe in it, then don't.

But quit telling people they're wasting their money when everyone should test and see for themselves.

I have both blessed, and been blessed because of tithing, and no one can convince me otherwise.

Everything in the word of God is faith-based it's not designed to work if you don't believe it anyway.

I can tell you that prayer doesn't work but if you've prayed and it worked for you, you'll see that I don't know what I'm talking about.

You can't pick which things you think are relevant in the Bible just because you don't have enough faith to do it or don't patience enough to try it and mainly because of your worldly obligations and fears.

You can quote every old testament verse on tithing that you want but the only verses you really need are Jesus' two references and approval of tithing in the new testament.

First when He rebuked the pharisees for neglecting more important things that please God.

Luke 11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

And second when he told the parable about being humble in prayer.

Luke 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Now show me where it says tithing is no longer accepted after Jesus died on the cross.

Ask Joyce Meyer, Charles Stanley or Creflo Dollar does tithing work or is it relevant today, then ask random members of their churches and I guarantee you they could tell you stories about tithing that'll blow your mind.

Has it ever occurred to you that tithing is a healthy discipline much like fasting where it requires you to put some thought effort and consideration into how you live your life and spend your money to please God.

And much like fasting you have to work your way into doing it, and then doing it consistently.

For most people the offense comes because they might have to give up a little entertainment, their cable and cell phone bills would probably cover it.

It's not your responsibility to care how the money is being used unless you're the pastor, so stop getting offended, it's no secret that God allows for human error, your tithing agreement is between you and God.
