Always a treat to see English tailor Steven Hitchcock on his regular visits to NYC. I love how his suit matches the rainy day grey skyscraper view. Check out the excellent interview with him over at Simply Refined.

On this visit I came by to chat and snap a few while Bruce Boyer had a fitting for his jacket. Don't the notes Steven scribbled remind you of a doctor's prescription?

Italian born Massimiliano and his lovely American wife Sorrel gave a warm greeting, and I began to try to take in all the details. Walking into his space I felt the Parisian architecture - the height of the ceiling, the <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/TheDandyPortraits/~4/d7SPGRBu9JE" height="1" width="1"/>

The Dandy of New York, Patrick McDonald

It was nice to catch up with Natty, the dandy journalist, and tell him all about my great European adventure. He understands.

I'm editing up a storm here, back in Brooklyn, by the way. Eleven photo shoots from Paris and London!!

Natty's shoes herald the fall...
