OK Ladies, I am sure we have all had this happen to us. We have been texting and talking to a guy for a while and all of a sudden he stops returning your texts and calls. You are left wondering what you did wrong. And start doubting yourself. You can’t help but think you did something, said something, you’re not pretty enough, or you aren’t good enough.

This has happened to me numerous times. And it seems like weeks will pass and all of a sudden you receive a text from the guy. You are pissed that he had the nerve to text you after leaving you hanging for so long.

Why do men do this? Here are some of the excuses I have heard.

Sorry, I have had a lot of things on my plate.

I am really trying to keep to myself and get my shit straight. Im tired of being behind on bills and stuggling on everything. Tired of people getting on my ass if i dont respond to a text or dont answer a phone call while im asleep. People been just pissing me off lately so ive been keeping to myself. Sorry! *********This one was taken striaght from a guys message.

Sorry I have been out of the country for work…….

I had a girlfriend but she turned out crazy….

My phone has been broken.

Ladies just remember with online dating guys are more than likely talking to more than just you. And are planning dates with more girls than just you. And I know in my case I am doing the same with talking to other guys. We leave our options open just incase one doesn’t work out.

Is it okay to sleep with him on the first date?

The big question in every girl's mind is it okay to sleep with him on the first date? Raven says YES, Jasmine says NO, and Cinnamon says she just really don't give damn!

Jasmine, believe it or not is the traditional girl and makes the guy take her to lunch, movie, and then safely take to where they met.

Raven (me) the naughty girl and I will often tell him before I meet them that I drink my coffee black and likes my eggs fried. Hey if it is okay for a guy, it okay for me!

Cinnamon, well she is the one you just never know about she might sleep with him and she might not, depends on how much wine she has tasted.

Why we all have a different style the question is, is it okay to sleep with them on your first date? Here is what I tell men before I meet them, if I like you then I like you. I am often more attacted to personality than looks....although I won't bang just anyone. If you can mentally stimulate me then the physical attraction is often easy.

Do I sleep with every guy on the first date? NO, I have a few of them, but often those guys and I have talked, met, or somehow communicated for weeks in advance. I live a very busy lifestyle and it is hard to drop everything and meet a dude, so sometimes we talk and talk and then when I meet them the magic just happens.

What makes it okay to sleep with a guy on the first date?

If you really like them!
If you know you are going to see them again!
If you both are comfortable with the situation!
If you USE PROTECTION!
If SEX is NOT the main reason you are on the date!
If you are SOBER! Sex under the influnce of drugs, alchohol, or anything else is out of the question!

Sex is should not be used as tool, bribery mechanism, or something you are forced to do!

The Dating Game....How to know if he or she is SINGLE

The trouble with online dating is that every Tom, Dick or Harry can be on those websites! I get dozens of messages a day and maybe 2 of of the 20 will be a decent guy.

My favorite story of all is the local minister that was posed as another person. This guy had the nerve to give me his phone number, after a few texts, some begging for pictures, I finally ran his number through Call Owl only to discover his real name! The saddest part of all that very week he had been spotlighted as the Minister of the Week in our local paper! Ughhhh.....What was this dude thinking????

Here are tips to know if the guy or gal is really single:

No Profile Picture - if they can't publiclly tell who they are they are hiding something (or just really buttass ugly).

Texting times - seriously if they are not available 24/7 to recieve text then they have someone else checking thier phone!

No Talking on the Phone - one thing I have made people start doing is calling me before I meet them. One I want to know they are real, two if they are hiding another woman she would overhear the conversation.

Facetime Phone Calls are not an Option - another trick I have pulled is making them Facetime with me. Most people have Iphones or an Android and can download an app to Facetime with you. I prefer Tango as I can also use that on Iphone or my computer and wifi is not required!

Disappears on the Weekend - I was chatting it up with this dude all weekend long and suddenly he disappears until Monday! I was confused, then he did it again the next week, I finally straight up asked and come to find out he had a girlfriend and was just bored.

Has bizarre things happen in their life - Raven and I had both exchanged phone numbers with this guy named Greg. One day Greg told us he was traveling home his dad was having emergency open heart surgery. We felt bad and text him a few times wishing him well and he never replied. Three weeks later we learned why, Greg was really John, the phone we were texting him on belonged to his girlfriend, which his wife had just found out about. The dude had told so many lies that he couldn't even keep them straight...needless to say I doubt John/Greg even had a sick dad.

Facebook Page - I never friend a guy I am thinking about going on a date with, but I want to be able to look at his Facebook page. There is a trick to this; if you have exchanged numbers witht someone type their number into your Facebook search. Chances are they have their number on their account and you can instantly see who they are and what they have marked as public.

Court Records- I have rarely gone to this extreme, but if I feel something just is not right about a guy, I will run the court records from the county he lives in. Many states provide a free online database for courtrecords and are easily name searched. Not a huge surprise I have pulled us some interesting facts on people before.

I had been dating this guy for a couple of weeks when he invited a few of my friends and I over for a house party. I thought I knew the guy pretty well, or at least hoped I did! My friend and I were in his bedroom chatting when we discovered this strange bag in his closet.

The online dating atmosphere is still considered “taboo” “risky” and something many people are still scared to admit they do., Although, if you think about it POF, MeetMe, Skout, OkCupid,and many of the others are not much different than actually using Facebook, Twitter, or meeting a blind date that someone has set you up with.

Here are few tips to keep your Online Dating Safe, Fun, and Non-Stressful

1. Make them tell you their name – If they cannot tell you their real name, then chances are they have something to hide!

2. Have a photo trick – make them take a picture with an object. Ask for a photo of them with a spoon on their nose, your name on a piece of paper, or just anything random that they can’t fake.

3. Have a way to connect them to reality! Rather it be a phone call, Facebook page, or something real in their life. I have even went so far as calling guys work and asking for him before I would agree to meet him….girl has to go on her gut instinct!

4. Have a back-up plan! Our gal Cinnamon was out on a date last weekend, the dude was total bore and almost creepy. She shot me a text and 5 minutes later we had an emergency illness she had to rush off to!

5. Tell someone where you are going and when you will be meeting your date. I know this sounds silly but anytime Cinnamon or Jasmine heads out on a date I receive a text with a picture of the date, where they are meeting, and a bit of information on him.

6. Never tell them where you live! I cannot imagine telling someone that I have never met where I live.

7. Don’t be afraid to call the shots. Guys and girls don’t get this! If you are asking the person to meet tell them exactly where, when, and make it easy for them.

8. Be open-minded - remember photos can be deceiving phone calls can sound different, so remember when you are meeting someone they may not be exactly how you imagined them.

9. The biggest FAIL I have found in online dating is that people tend to plan out their future before they have ever met me! If you are dreaming of what the future will hold you will be sadly disappointed at the end of your first date. Take it slow, plan no future, and just live life!

10. Don’t forget to be YOURSELF….I have met people and they seem to have forgotten who they are and painted a picture of themselves that is not! BE YOURSELF and BE REAL when you are online dating. If you have kids and have been talking to the person for a while, you may want to disclose you have kids! If you can’t drive, because some oddball reason, then tell them, many people understand! BE HONEST
