How and When Did You Discover Seamless? I believe it was when we moved back to NYC, about five years ago. I think I saw it on a delivery guy’s bag. I started to use it and became totally hooked. At first, we only had a handful of places in my neighborhood, and within a short time, thankfully, there were more places than just pizza. Now, I order from Seamless religiously and tell everyone I know to do the same. It’s the ultimate convenient luxury. I’m actually afraid that one day we will move to a place that doesn’t offer Seamless. But, luckily, we don’t have to worry about that right now.

Where Do You Use Seamless? Home, work, and remotely, when I am on my way to either aforementioned places!

Favorite Kind of Food: This is really the toughest question for me, and I get it a lot (my husband is a chef). My favorite kind of food to order at the moment is either Mediterranean or Indian, but I do love the classics like white pizza from Inatesso and bagels from Zucker’s (Typical NYer).

Least Favorite Kind of Food: Diner Food – it doesn’t travel well, no one like soggy fries!

Favorite Place(s) to Order From on Seamless? Soom Soom (UWS), Saffron Thread (Tribeca), Lemon Leaves (FiDi), and most recently – the new My Belly’s Playlist (FiDi). I secretly wish we lived in the East Village, the restaurant options in that neighborhood are insane! If we lived there, I would never cook again.

What’s your record for orders placed on Seamless in a 24-hour period? Oh gosh, maybe 4 or 5? I like to place a lot of orders in a row when I need different things – and I always need different things! It makes my dogs crazy, but it saves me so much time. My mom and my sister think that all I ever do is order delivery – and that would be correct!

If you had to eat food  for 30 days in a row, what would that be? Is this the “Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are?” – Brillat-Savarin (the existential epicurean) question?  I don’t think I could do that, I need variety. But I do like eggs. I could eat eggs forever.  Side note – our dog is named Savarin, after this famous gastronome.  And he also enjoys eggs as much as I do.

Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? When I know the products they sell better than they do, it can be very frustrating. Also, my husband has an accent, so that can be a challenge as well. He can never just order a ”Coke” so I told him to say ”Soda” or I just do it for him.

Favorite Celebrity Chef? My husband, Shaun Hergatt. And what is my favorite thing he makes for me? Eggs. Oh, and ricotta pancakes. His are the best in the world!

What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? This isn’t a superpower – more a magic thing, but I always wanted to be able to switch outfits by snapping my fingers – a la Bewitched.

Plans for Tonight? Ordering Seamless, of course – I still have to get home, go to the gym, walk my dogs and pack for a trip! Thank goodness for Seamless, it couldn’t be more convenient, efficient, painless, simple and fun. And you guys have the most amazing customer service. Thanks!

I am not a very good cook.

My husband and three kids subsist on easy to prepare foods like hummus and chicken nuggets. But when my family of foodies from Brooklyn decided to come calling for Mother’s Day breakfast, something more delectable was called for. The easy answer? To see what is on tap at Seamless this Sunday in Hoboken, NJ.

The Seamless website turned up 20 delivery options tomorrow at 10 a.m. Three restaurants immediately jumped out at me – all of them have AMAZING reputations among local moms for great food and family-friendly atmosphere. The three are:

Cugini Kitchen – 5 Seamless stars

The Hobokenista says this is “one of my favorite spots in Hoboken to grab a meal on the go. My go-to meal is a morning breakfast sandwich on a kaiser roll with scrambled egg whites, American cheese, and Taylor ham.”

Stacks Pancake House and Cafe – 3 Seamless stars

This is my breakfast eatery of choice since the downtown location is incredibly convenient to our apartment and I can browse at the used bookstore next door when we are seated outside during nice weather. Zucker family faves? The parchment cone of cornbread served with every meal and extra crispy BACON.

Turning Point of Hoboken – 4 Seamless stars

Yelp reviewers rave about the French toast and say “the food is out of this world! It usually is packed on the weekends so if you’re a party of two opt for sitting at the counter.”

A Mother’s Day Meal!

Hoboken brunch locations tend to be jampacked on weekends, so this was a fantastic opportunity to share their delicious eats with my family without the wait.
