It is made of chrome-plated steel. The chair received the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) Studio Award in 2013. According to the designer, “The challenge was to achieve a single surface that serves as seating, armrest, and backrest supported by a minimal structure. Although the chair exhibits curvatures in two directions (hyperbolic paraboloid) all its components are straight and easy to manufacture. Most of the time we sit in front of a desk while working. So it is important to have an organised and interesting work desk that makes you smile and feel-at-home while working. Most common things found on the desk are files, computer, telephone and other office accessories. Boring, right? By adding few things, you can make your work desk more lively and interesting. 1. Family – You cannot have your family at work place unless you work from home or you are the boss of the company. But you can have the photos of your family. A photo of your son swinging a bat or your daughter in a ballerina dress brings smile on your face. 2. Pets – No, I don’t mean a barking dog or a purring cat unless you want to annoy your boss and go home by noon, permanently. A colorful fish in a small aquarium will make your work desk lively. Make sure you have some arrangements to feed the fish on holidays or you can take it home with you.
