They are calling for more 2 to 4 inches of snow and it says that there's winter storm advisory today. I am spoiled in the mid 50's last week and now grrrhhh...so cold again. I never expect to have more snow again for I am sick and tired of it. I'm pretty much ready for spring and now 2 to 4 inches of snow is on the way, oh boy! Well, winter is season one of the weather here in US so I better enjoy myself so, I don't get bored for this another cold days. I wish if there's snow it's not so cold and I can go out and take some pictures around. Haha I bet it would not happen that snow is not cold. Well, that's the way it goes so I have to deal with it so my mood would not be destroy. Have a cold day to all!

Apricot Cloth Diaper

Baby Sophia is wearing her apricot color cloth diaper. I'm glad that the diaper fits to her. The diaper is waterproof outer layer and micro fleece inner layer. It has front opening for stuffing.I like the pocket style because you I can control the absorbency by adding insert or doubler.

Sun and My Mood

I am very happy today because it's sunny, though it still cold outside at least the sun is shining. I observe myself when it's gloomy and the sun didn't show up I feel like I don't have much energy in my body. I don't know what's the connection of the sun and my mood but I felt that way. I am thinking maybe because I born and grow up in a warm environment and the sun is shining all day long when the weather is good and it's not raining. I enjoyed so much when I was in my country in the Philippines because it's hot. Now, I am homesick...by the way time is flying so fast and I will going to have a vacation next year. I am looking forward to see my family again for many2x year that we didn't see each other. How I missed them so much and it's quite hard for us not seeing each other for a very long period of time. So that is why I am excited to see my beloved family and to feel the hot of the sun too.

Winter Snow

Last night the snow was coming down very hard and I think the snow is 7-12 inches thick if I'm not mistaken. It's really make us hard to drive on the slippery and icy road. I am scared when the road is slick because the tendency are many cars going out of control and car accident are increasing. This morning when we drove by the highway I took pictures of files of snow. I don't have much to do so I able to took few pictures. I am fun of taking pictures here's one of the picture that I took this morning.

Been Busy

I update and check my other blog but not this blog. I found out that I did not update much of this page. I've been busy in my sewing carrier and I wasn't able to take time to set down and update my blog. I have few blogs that I updated and I sometimes forgot to update each one of it. I think last few months I spent much time to sewn a lot of cloth diapers, girls pillowcase dresses. Then, create and learn more everyday. I neglected this blog for quit a while. First Handmade Shirt

Looking Forward In Our Vacation

Last year we went to Colorado to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It's a beautiful place to go for a vacation with the family. I love the lake, the scenery there and the weather too especially going there in summer. Last few weeks ago hubby asked me if I want to go back in Colorado in our coming wedding anniversary. I love Colorado but I want to go to different state, so we agreed to go to Kentucky for our next vacation hopefully next couple months. I am looking forward in our next vacation in Kentucky. Now, we are looking for a nice place to stay in Kentucky and we would love to stay in a place that has a lake so we can go fishing and enjoy the nature. Then, we are planning to meet our friends too.

It was fun watching the three beautiful little girls taking photos of themselves. One of them really insisted that she would hold the camera to take pictures of the two girls. Kids really are great imitator, they can catch up quickly when they see what the adult are doing. I just remember when I was a child, digital camera is not so popular before. I didn't even know how to use a digital camera not until I am in my senior years. What a shame on me haha... but digital camera is too expensive before. We only use the camera that has a film in it. Today's kids are exposed to technology and also most of the people own a digital camera. No wonder little children know how to use any gadgets in there younger age. Some of them really learn how to use or take a pictures. The picture above was taken when a little girl is ready to take picture of her playmates. Then, I quickly grab my camera to take picture of her while she's taking pictures. That is so cute picture of her and she indeed looks like a little photographer.

Floral Spring Women Dress

I am sick and tired of snow and the cold temperature. Today it's sunny but it's still cold outside. The cold breeze air seems like they're killing me oh my! Still I can not stand the coldness outside. Though I love to walk around but for now I can not walk for a mile because it's too cold for me.

I miss spring and the little warm weather. I miss to wear my sexy clothes and short. I want to wear my sexy halter dress hahaha. Just miss wearing a backless dress and wearing other sexy summer clothes. Here's the captured of last summer's dress, I really love the floral halter style neck. The dress is perfect for spring and summer. Time is running so passed and 2-3 weeks more and I can see again the green leaves of the trees. Then the flowers will be blooming soon! I can smell there fragrance so soon. I am excited to think about spring because it's not as cold and hot. It's just enough for me. Are you excited for spring too?

Today, I feel like I want to sew so I grabbed my scissor and get the new fabric that I bought in the store. I sew a style that is fit for spring and summer. I could say that it is for multiple styles dress because it can be a skirt, tube, and halter dress. Perfect for hot temperature and the color is cool. The clothes is dotted white in light blue background. I used 100% polyester fabric and it is handmade by me with love.

I really like to sew dress and I remembered when I was in my elementary years, my mother bought me a new dress and I did not like it then, I changed the style of my dress. I did not told her that I did not like the dress because I was worried that she do not buy me a dress again. I changed the style of the dress to the style that I really like the most,whuahhh I can say that I have a courage to changed the dress those times. I made it good so she did not get mad at me, that was long time ago hahaha...

When I was in college I decided to enrolled Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Home Economics because I knew that Home Economics had sewing subjects which I like the most. I sew the clothing of my nieces and sew the Uniform of my cousin and her graduation dress and I'm glad she like it so much.

Lately, I decided to sew again and here is the sample of the blue spaghetti strap dress that I made. I really want to improve in my sewing everyday so if I can I sew one cloth in one day.
