Hard Candy Review: Sheer Envy Primers (2 of them!)

Hello Beauties!! Continuing with my Hard Candy Review Series (Check out my other reviews here>> Welcome Matte Review )
Today I am reviewing the 2 face primers that I have from Hard Candy!

First things First, what the 2 products look like!

First we have the Sheer Envy (Clear)

I <3 the Hard Candy Packaging!

That's WAYYYY too much to use... Just FYI!

Then what the Purple one looks like:

This is a Skin Illuminating Primer

Once again nice packaging!

Secondly, what Hard Candy promises this product will do?

Directly from the Hard Candy website (this is the clear primer)
Sheer Envy Primer helps to even out the skin while reducing shine. Improves foundation application while minimizing skin imperfections. Make-up lasts longer and skin is left velvety smooth.
Directly from the Hard Candy website (this is the purple one)
Illuminating Primer - A purple tinted, light translucent primer that gives a healthy, luminescent glow. Restores skins natural radiance, smooths skin and gives an overall airbrushed look! Can be worn alone or under makeup.

Thirdly, what does it cost:

Both of these are available at WalMart for $8.00

Lastly, the review! What Do I Think????:

Ok, so I am going to start with the Sheer Envy Clear Primer. This is my go to, grab every single day, use till it's gone, then cry because it's gone primer! It does create a smooth canvas, doesn't seem to add any oil, and just helps my foundation last! *I will repurchase this FOR DAMN SURE!
Now, the purple one. This is Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Skin Illuminating Primer. This is a no go for me. This product seems chunky, does not blend in well, and actually ends up flaking off... The minute I touch my foundation to my face it flakes and looks like I'm peeling... As for evening out the skin and illuminating it, I see nothing of the sorts. *I will not repurchase, I feel like this is a miss from Hard Candy, sadly too, because I can see the potential of an amazing primer here, but somewhere it fails.

Ok my beauties, that is my review of the Sheer Envy Primers, I will definitely repurchase the regular Sheer Envy, but pass on the Skin Illuminating Primer as I feel it is a fail! Have a great day!

FOTD: I'm Buck Naked!

Hello Beauties! Today's face of the day is using my Naked Palette!!! Scroll to see how I got this look!

FACE::

So, today was a different face routine kinda so I'm gonna break it down. To see my daily routine you can still click >>> My Daily Face Routine...
But today, I primed using Milk of Magnesia all over (See my instructions on how to do this here >> How To Use MOM for Oily Skin)
Then I concealed my undereyes using my Physician's Formula Twins Concealers and set with the yellow powder in the e.l.f. Complexion Perfection Compact
Then I applied my NEW foundation: Revlon PhotoReady (Ok, So I am testing this to see how I like it and if it will work on my wedding day!) My shade is 004 Nude (applied using my e.l.f. Powder Brush)
Then I set everything with my *NEW* powder: Milani The Multitasker Face Powder (Another test product for the wedding!) My shade is 03 Medium (applied using my e.l.f. Complexion Brush)

CHEEKS::

I used my e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzer Duo for both blush and bronzer (I applied my blush using my e.l.f. Powder Brush, then I applied my bronzer using e.l.f.'s Professional Blending & Bronzing Brush)

EYES::

I applied my e.l.f. Eyelid Primer in Champagne all over my lid.
Then I used my Naked Palette to achieve the rest of the look!
I applied Naked all over the lid (applied using my e.l.f. Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
Next I applied Buck in the crease and slightly on the outer V (Using my e.l.f. Professional Crease Brush)
Then I applied Smog in the outer V and BLENDED out (applied using my Sonia Kashuk Large Crease Brush)
Then I smudged Creep and Buck under my lid and over my Wet N Wild Gel Liner (Liner applied using my e.l.f. Bent Liner Brush, Creep & Buck applied using my e.l.f. Small Angle Liner Brush)
I highlighted my browbone using Virgin (Using the Urban Decay Shadow Brush)
Then I curled my lashes and applied Rimmel's Glam'Eyes mascara

LIPS::

I applied e.l.f.'s Lip Liner & Blending Brush in Natural all over the lips
Topped that with e.l.f. Essentials Lipstick in Classy
Added a light layer of e.l.f.'s HyperShine LipGloss in Flirt

Hey Beauties!!! My FOTD today was a tough one to decide on! I ALMOST went neutral, which has been my go to for a week now, but thanks to my friends at Beauty Broadcast, I decided to go with a fun cute sliver and pink smokey eye! Check it out below!

FACE:

I set everything with Hard Candy's Welcome Matte Mattfying Powder *You can see my NEW review on this product here >> Welcome Matte... *click me please*

CHEEKS:

I am darkening my foundation due to tanner chest using NYC Sunny Bronzer lightly dusted all over my face (Using my e.l.f. Powder Brush)
I used Hard Candy's Fox In a Box in Hot Flash on my cheeks! (Using e.l.f.'s Complexion Brush) *I will be reviewing this and other Hard Candy products in the next coming days, stay tuned*
Then I contoured slightly using NYC Sunny

EYES: (admit it this is the only reason you read this)

I primed using e.l.f.'s NEW eyelid primer in Pearl
Then I used e.l.f'.'s Cream Eyeshadow in Black Licorice *sliver only* as a base
Next, I used my Wet N Wild Spoiled Brat trio for the colors... but any nice shimmery sliver will work with a BRIGHT fun pink
I applied the sliver from this trio all over the lid to the crease (applied using my e.l.f. Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
I then applied the pink on the outer third, the outer crease, and the outer V and BLENDED BLENDED BLENDED (Applied using the Sonia Kasuk Large Crease Brush)
I tightlined using Wet N Wild's Gel Liner (Applied using e.l.f.'s Bent Liner Brush)
I LIGHTLY ran my Milani Liquif'Eye in black on my lower lash line

I then curled my lashes and applied Hard Candy's Big Curls Don't Cry Waterproof Mascara *Review coming on this soon in my Hard Candy Series STAY TUNED!!*

LIPS:

I lined my lips using e.l.f.'s Lip Liner and Blending Brush in Natural
Then I applied Revlon's Colorburst Lipstick in Warm Me Up
Then topped it with Hard Candy's Glossaholic in Gorgeous! *Review pending... Stay tuned!!!!*

Hard Candy Review: Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder

Hey my Hard Candy loving Beauties!!!!

So, we are stepping into CandyLand today, for the first time. Doing an UPDATED review on... Hard Candy's Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder!

First things first... What the product looks like:


Love the impressed logo <3 swoon

Secondly:
What does Hard Candy promise this product will do??

So, Hard Candy states that this Mattifying Powder with micro-pigment will 'float' over skin, setting makeup, eliminate shine, and last all day!

Thirdly:
This is highly important beauties.... How much does this cost???

$8.00 (available exclusively at WalMart)

Lastly:
The review... What oh What do I *me* Think of this product:

Ok, so I reviewed this product actually twice before, and to be honest I messed up my reviews, I am actually removing them because they just aren't fair! So, I have been using this product pretty consistently though out the HOT HOT Florida summer. *Note: I HAVE OILY SKIN, THIS IS A REVIEW ON MY SKIN AND MY SKIN ALONE, I AM CLAIMING THIS PRODUCT WILL WORK THE SAME ON YOU, BUT THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE* So, to break it down does it live up to the promises Hard Candy makes, well... lets check them out individually...

Does it 'float' over the skin?
Yes, it provides a light setting over my foundation, and evens everything out to matte, seamless finish.
Does is 'set' your makeup/ foundation?
Yes, it sets everything, though I believe almost any powder 'sets' foundation!
Does it 'eliminate unwanted shine'?
YES! YES! YES! YES! I throw this in my purse, and use it throughout the day now to eliminate that wonderful shine that loves to show up after I even stepped outside from it being so dang! hot outside! It soaks up the oil, and re-sets everything to a beautiful matte finish! I also does not seem to add any cakiness on my face!!
Does it 'last all day'?
Um, no! At least not in 100 + degrees! This is the only time I have personally tested this product, and no, it does not last all day! Does it last long, um, I would say I could go about 3-4 hours without touching up. Although, I must say, though it doesn't last all day, I am still finding myself reaching for this!

CONCLUSION::
So, in conclusion beauties.... I definitely recommend this product is your are looking for a mattifying powder at an affordable price. And, in the best recommendation I can give, I will be REPURCHASING this when I hit pan! So, have a beautiful day beauties and enjoy!!!

Hard Candy Review: 1st things 1st, a little history

Ok, so some of you may or may not be familiar with Hard Candy Cosmetics...

So, from some of my research I have determined this company was found in 1995, then sold in 1999, then was sold in duty free shops. Then in 2009, they made a BRILLIANT move and decided to make their product available to all of us beauties by selling it in non other then WalMart. Now, in 1995 the nail polish I believe was the only product and was brought to fame by Alicia Silverstone mentioning wearing it on The Late Show with David Letterman, then the owners appeared on the MTV show House of Style several times.
So, where are they today? Well, they are sold exclusively at WalMart and online through Hard Candy's Website. They range, at least in my experience, from around $4-$10 per product.

So, I own a few products from this company and I must say I am impressed! I love MOST of my products that I have bought from them. Now I have previously reviewed the Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder from them, but I am updating that review in this series....

Hello Beauties!!!!! I'm back! Here's my VERY FIRST FOTD using my Naked Palette!

A fun bronzy neutral eye!

On my nails is sally Hansen complete Salon Manicure in Back to the Fuchisa

And here's how I achieved this look!

FACE:

I followed the steps in my Daily Face Routine found here >>> FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I set everything using my e.l.f. HD Powder using my Powder Brush

CHEEKS:

I applied e.l.f.'s Studio Blush in Candid Coral (Applied using e.l.f.'s Powder Brush)
I applied NYC Sunny all over the face, LIGHTLY!!! (Applied using e.l.f.'s Complexion Brush)

EYES:

EVERYTHING IS FROM Urban Decay's Naked Palette!
I used UD Primer Potion all over the lid
Then I applied Half Baked all over the lid (Using e.l.f.'s Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
Then I applied Toasted on the outer V and Crease and blended all the way into the crease (Applied with Urban Decay Shadow Brush included with the Naked Palette)
Then I defined the outer V using Gunmetal (e.l.f's Professional Crease Brush) and Blend Blend Blend (Using e.l.f.'s Blending Eye brush)
Then I smudged Gunmetal underneath the outer half of the lower lash line (Using the e.l.f. Smudge Brush)
Then I topped the Gunmetal with Toasted (again with the Smudge BRush)
I tightlined using Wet N Wild Gel Liner in 886 (Applied using the e.l.f. Bent Liner Brush)
I waterlined using my Milani Liquif'Eye in Black (HOLY GRAIL)
Then I curled my lashes and applied L'Oreal Voluminous in Soft Black

LIPS:

I applied Milani Lip Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Gloss Pencil in #06 Flashy
Topped with Bonnie Bell LipLites in Cream Pop

And that is it! I will be doing quite a few looks from this palette, including a few possible wedding looks so stay tuned!!

Ok ladies! I am doing all my own stuff for my wedding... so I started working on my centerpieces today... And these are the candles we are considering using.

I bought these UNSCENTED white pillar candles from Wal-Mart ($1.88 a piece)
Then I bought turquoise ribbon and black ribbon and hot glued them on!

I think their so pretty! What do you think?

Neutral with a pop of color under the eye

Once again, I am growing in my eyebrows

So here's how to do it...

FACE:

Set with True Match Pressed Powder

CHEEKS:

I applied e.l.f.'s blush in Pink Passion on the cheekbones (e.l.f.'s Complexion Brush)
I contoured with NYC Sunny (e.l.f.'s Blending and Bronzing Brush)
I highlighted using my Too Faced Candlelight (Fingers)

EYES:

I primed using my e.l.f. Eyelid Primer
I used a purple cream liner as a base (I used Physician's Formula Shimmer Strip Glam Eyes)
Then I packed on Scratch from the Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow Palette all over the lid to the crease (e.l.f.'s Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
Then I placed Underground (same palette) into the crease and outer corner (Using the e.l.f. Crease Brush)
Then lightly placed some Zero (same palette) ontop of the underground and BLENDY BLENDY BLENDY till it was how I wanted it (Using e.l.f.'s Blending Eye Brush)
Then I lined my lashline using Milani's Liquif'Eye in Black then topped with Zero (Using an angled eyeliner brush)
Under the lower lashes I smudged Peace (same palette) all the way under the lower lash line (Using the e.l.f. Smudge Brush)
In the very outer corner of the lower lashes I placed a small amount of Ransom (a small brush...)
Then I applied Milani Liquif'Eye to the waterline
I curled my lashes and applied Rimmel's Glam'Eyes

LIPS:

I applied Hard Candy's Painted Lady Lipstick in Knockout
Topped with e.l.f.'s Super Glossy Lipshine in Pink Kiss

And that's it!!! Hope you enjoy... I think I am falling in love with all my old Urban Decay waiting for my Naked Palette!!!

OMG! So the future hubby, after much explaination as to WHY I need it, let me get the....

So I reached for my Milani Baked Eyeshadow in Girls Luv Pink again! This time its different then my last Girls Luv Pink look though (can be seen here >> Girls Luv Pink Look 1) So keep reading if you wanna see more!

If you haven't noticed my eyebrows are out of control... WHY??? Cause I am going them out to reshape them :(

In addition to my daily face routine I dusted NYC Sunny Bronzer all over my face using my e.l.f. Total Face Brush
I followed my daily face routine which can be seen here >> Michele's Daily Face Routine
I set with Hard Candy Welcome Matte today

CHEEKS:

I used the blush from the e.l.f. Contour Blush and Bronzer applied to the cheekbones (Applied using the e.l.f. Complexion Brush)
I contoured using NYC Sunny Bronzer (e.l.f.'s Blending and Bronzing Brush)

EYES:

Testing out Hard Candy's Eyeshadow Primer so I applied that all over my lids
I used Revlon's Illuminance Creme Shadow in Wild Orchids (the third color from the left) as a base
I then packed on Milani's Girls Luv Pink all over the lid (Using e.l.f.'s Eyeshadow Brush)
Then I used the brownish shade from the 100 Eyeshadow palette from e.l.f it's the color 6th row from the left 5th color from the bottom (Using e.l.f.'s Crease Brush then BLENDED out with the e.l.f. Eye Blending Brush)
I smudged that brown color under the lower lashes from the outer corner to about half way in (Using e.l.f.'s Smudge Brush)
I applied Physican's Formula Gel Cream Liners Shimmer Strips for Hazel Eyes in brown to the outer half of the upper lid (Using the e.l.f. Eyeliner Brush)
Then I smudged it on the directly under the water line using the same brush
I curled my lashes and applied Rimmel's Glam'Eyes Mascara

LIPS:

I applied Milani's Lip Flash in Flashy all over the lips
I topped that off with e.l.f's Hyper Shine lipgloss in Fairy!

FOTD 7/12/11... Pushing Petals Mix Up...

Ya...Not really feeling the other side of the Petal Pusher Palette from WnW.... Kinda feel like I have a purple sparky eye that's not to crazy... I don't know...

I mean I like the look... but I don't think it was anything I couldn't achieve with purples from any company :(

Simple today, just used Milani's Baked Blush in Dolce Pink (Applied with the elf Powder Brush on the cheekbones)

EYES:

So I used the RIGHT SIDE OF THE PALETTE only when indicated by RS and LEFT SIDE when indicated by LS
Primed the eye using elf's Eyelid Primer
I applied the 'eyelid' color from the RS of the palette all over the lid (applied with with elf's Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
I used the 'crease' shade from the LS of the palette on the outer half and outer V of the eye (applied with elf's Professional Blending Brush)
I applied the 'definer' shade from the LS of the palette in the crease and blended it out (applied with elf's Professional Eye Crease)
I lined my eyes using Physician's Formula Gel Cream Eyeliner in Black from the Green Glam Eyes Shimmer Strips collection on the tightline.
I smudged the 'crease' shade RS of the palette under the OUTER HALF of the lower lashline ( applied using elf's Smudge Brush)
I waterlined using the Physician's Formula Gel Cream Eyeliner in Purple from the Green Glam Eyes Shimmer Strips collection
Curled my lashes and applied L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Soft black

LIPS:

I used NYC (bullet lipsticks) in #301 Cafe
And applied Elf's Shimmer Gloss in Pink

Oily Skin?? Want a FIX?? Try this CHEAP and AMAZING Product!!!

Ok, beauties, so SOME of us are dealing with this dreadful OILY skin problem.... I know I have fought the battle all my life and have spent TONS of money on products that just really don't solve the problem....


Guess that's one way to fix it LOL!

So, what is my new Holy Grail, can't live without, must have, reach for daily, now go to product?


You're eyes are not fooling you!!

Yes, that is a bottle of Dr. Phillips Milk of Magensia. This stomach aid is an amazing product for blocking oil! And I am far from the first blogger, guru, or even person to use this... as a matter of fact, look at how Dr. Phillips used to promoted

Yes, it was printed in the papers like this... (as far as I can tell)

So, for $4.99 a bottle (the larger one) available at pretty much any drugstore, grocery store, or most places you shop on a regular basis... you may be thinking ok but how do I do this?? Well here's how I do this...

DAILY:
Daily, I use milk of magenisa as a primer. I apply it AFTER my moisturizer BEFORE my foundation. I take a VERY VERY VERY VERY small amount on a cotton ball and dab a dot on each cheek, nose, forehead, and chin, then blend it into my skin.
Now, if you use too much you will get a sorta chalky finish, so play with it a little bit.

3 TIMES A WEEK:
Now, M.O.M. is also an amazing face mask! So 3 times a week, I apply a thicker layer all over my face, and allow it set for about 15 minutes. Then I rinse with lukewarm water, and then splash cold water on my face. This tighten the pores, helps reduce the reddness, and at least with me helps with any breakouts, and seems to help lighten some scarring that I have!

And here my lovely beauties is how I did it!

FACE:

Moisturized... Oil-Free Moisture SPF 35 from Neutrogena
Milk of Magenisa as a primer... I will be doing a review on MONDAY of this!
Under eyes: Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream in 07 Natural Beige mixed with PF Concealer Twins in Yellow/Light (Blended out with elf Concealer brush and fingers)
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in 103 True Ivory (Applied with elf's Powder Brush... the Flat one)
Everything set with elf's High Definition Powder (Applied with included puff) only LIGHTLY pressed in all over the face!

CHEEKS:

elf Blush in Candid Coral (applied to the apples using the elf Complexion Brush)
Contoured using the darker bronze in the NYC Sun 2 Sun Bronzing Powder (elf Professional Blending Brush)
Highlight the cheekbones using the 'eyelid' shade from the LEFT side of the "Comfort Zone" Palette

EYES:

Prime the lids using the 'Primer' side of elf's Line Sealer & Primer
Apply WnW IdolEyes Cream Eyeshadow Pencil in Pixie all over the lid
ALL SHADES ARE ON THE RIGHT side OF THE PALETTE!
I applied the 'eyelid' color all over the eyelid (Packed on using the elf Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
Next I used the 'crease' shade to go halfway through the crease, to the middle of the eye, and lightly on the outer V and BLENDED it the hell out (Using elf's Professional Crease Brush & elf's Professional Blending Eye Brush)
Then I used the 'definer' shade to DEFINE the outer V and go onto the very outer part of the lid (Using the elf Professional Eye Crease Brush) and lightly blend it out
Then I applied the 'browbone' shade on the browbone and on the inner corner
Next I tightlined using PF's Glam Green Eyes Shimmer Strips Custom Enhancing Gel Cream Liner I used the GREEN shade (Applied with my elf Eyeliner Brush)
I used Milani Liquif'Eye in black on the waterline
Next, I smudge the PF Green Cream Liner under the lower lash line from the outer corner to halfway in.
Then I curled and applied my L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Soft Black (I"M IN LOVE WITH THIS MASCARA)!

LIPS:

I applied WnW Wild Shine in 203 or 601... I think I hate that they don't have names
Topped that off with elf Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 in Pink Kiss

FOTD 7/7/11.... I'm a Funky Punk Today!

Hello Beauties!
So I am day late, but I was doing hair yesterday so I was a little tied up! But I am posting my fun, funky Punk Funk Look from yesterday! Check out this bright fun look!

I love the pop of blue....

This is probably really dramatic... but I loved it!

FYI for those who have asked... those are my lashes I own no fake lashes!


I had a crease... I fixed it after this picture!

FACE:

I started with Neutorgena Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 35
I used a new primer today... MILK OF MAGNESIA!!!!!! I will have a review of this SOON!!!
I used elf's Tone Correcting Concealer in Light Beige under the eyes and on the blemishes
Next I applied Rimmel's Lasting Finish Foundation in True Ivory (Using elf Powder Brush)
I set everything with elf's Mineral Booster in Sheer (Applied with elf Stipple Brush)

CHEEKS:

I used elf's Contouring Blush and Bronzer
On the cheeks I used the Blush (Applied with elf's Complexion Brush)
I contoured using the Bronzer (Applied with a contour brush)

EYES:

I applied elf's Eyelid Primer all over the lid
Then I applied elf Eyeshadow Cream Duo in Black Licorice (Only the SLIVER) all over the lid and blended slightly into the crease
ALL OF THE COLOR ON THE LID IS FROM ELF'S EYE BRIGHTENING QUAD IN PUNK FUNK
I took the pink of this quad and packed it on the inner half of the lid (Applied using the elf Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
Then I cleaned off the brush and used it in the purple of this quad and packed that all over the outer half of the lid
Then I took my elf Professional Eye Blending Brush and blended the two colors together to get rid of the harsh lines!
Next, I used the blue from the quad as a definer and outer V shade and BLENDED BLENDED BLENDED (I used the elf Professional Eye Crease Brush)
Then I used the whitish color from the quad to highlight the browbone and the inner corner. (No branded, just a flat soft brush...)
I then tightlined using elf's Cream Eyeliner in black, while making it thicker on the outer corner then the inner corner (elf Professional Eyeliner Brush)
I used Milani's Liquif'Eye Liner in Aqua for my waterline, going from the outer corner and halway in.
Then I curled my lashes and applied L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Soft Black

LIPS:

elf HyperShine Lipgloss in Fairy

FACE:

(Now including my moisturizer because I am reviewing one) So I started with Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 35
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer
I mixed Milani concealer and elf Tone Correcting concealer
Then I applied my Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation (elf's Powder Brush)
Set everything with my Hard Candy Welcome Matte mattfying powder

CHEEKS:

I used my elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer, using the blush on the apples of my cheeks (elf's Complexion Brush
Then I contoured using the bronzer (elf's Blending and Bronzing Brush)
I highlighted using elf's Shimmering Facial Whip in Spotlight (Applied with the fingers and blending with the elf Stipple Brush)

EYES:

Elf's eyelid primer all over the lids
Then I applied Milani's Girls Luv Pink all over the lid (elf's Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
Then I applied elf's eyeshadow from the Neutral Beauty Book (the middle row, 3rd color in from the left) in the crease and outer V (Applied using elf's Professional Crease Brush)
Then I BLENDED BLENDED AND BLENDED some more (elf's Professional Blending Brush)
I then tightlined using the Wet n Wild cream liner (Using the elf Bent Liner Brush)
I waterlined using Milani's Liquif'Eye in Black
I used elf's Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Mascara on my brows
Lastly I curled my lashes and applied Rimmel's Glam'Eyes mascara

LIPS:

I accented my cupid's bow and upper lip with white liner (elf's Eye Widener Pencil)
I applied elf's lipstick in Classy
And topped that off with elf's HyperShine Lipgloss in Fairy

My Target & Big Lots Haul!!!! elf, Wet n Wild, Rimmel!!!

So, I have a Haul today!! Keep reading beauties!

So, first up is the elf Beauty Book! I have been messing around with the idea of a whole palette of neutrals for a while, and $4.50 was a lot better then the Naked palette for $42!

They're all nicely pigmented and blend beautifully!

Next we have elf's Eye Brightening Quad in Punk Funk! Can't have just neutrals here!!! ($1)

Next, we half elf's Contouring Blush & Bronzer! I have been so excited to buy this because everyone says it's a dupe for NARS Orgasm & Laguna (?) And I LOVE Orgasm.... and I must say I think it's a decent dupe!


I love the NARS like packaging too!


So pretty!!!!!!


Once again, the swatch provides little justice for the beautiful color!

Next, we have elf's lipstick in Classy!


I'm not so hot on this packaging... a little cheap... But it was only a $1!

I liked a little more out of the plastic... but still UGH about it!


I'm in love with this beautiful pinky color! I cannot wait to wear it!

I have nothing really to say because I haven't tried it yet... But I am looking forward to seeing how it works

Next, something from Rimmel! Rimmel's (new?) Glam'Eyes Mascara in Black

Claims to be ultra voluminous high definition mascara!

I'm in LUV with this brush!

And the packaging is so adorbs!


LOVE IT!

Next we have a couple Wet n Wild products, starting with Wet n Wild's Cream Liner

And then 2 Wet n Wild Wild Shine Lipsticks

They came together, with no actual names or numbers on them... but I found them at Big Lots!

This is the darker red

It goes on nicely!

Pretty dark pink!

We're Pushing Petals Today with The FOTD!

So my newest FOTD is using Wet N Wild's 8 Pan Palette in Petal Pusher. Such pretty purple look.... Keep reading to see how I did it...

And here's how I did this... I am making a video on this too...

FACE:

I primed with elf's Mineral Infused Face Primer
I concealed with elf's Tone Correcting Concealer in Light Beige
I applied Revlon ColorStay Foundation (Custom mixed) in 180 & 200
I set everything with elf's Complexion Perfection

CHEEKS:

I applied elf's Studio Blush in Pink Passion on apples of the cheeks
I highlighted today with elf's Shimmer Facial Whip in Spotlight

EYES:

I primed my eyelid using elf's Eyelid Primer all over the lid to the browbone
I USED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE Petal Pusher Palette so correspond with that...
I applied the 'eyelid' color all over the lid to the crease
I then applied the 'crease' color in the crease and the outer V, and then Blended it out
Next, I used the 'definer' shade to define the outer V and blend lightly.
Then, I used the 'browbone' color underneath the arch of the eyebrow and on the tearducts.
I then lined the out half of the upper lashes using the black cream eyeliner from the Physician's Formula Glam Green Eyes Shimmer Eye Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Cream Liners (Stack of 3)
On the lower lash line I used Milani's Liquif'Eye in black on the outer half of the waterline
I then smudged the 'crease' color on the outer half of the lower lashes
I then curled and applied mascara to the lashes.

Lips:

I applied CG Outlast Lipstain #425
And topped that with NYC lipstick in Glam.

Today's FOTD is from Wet N Wild's Comfort Zone 8 Pan Color Icon Palette. I'm loving this sorta antiquey looking goldish eye... It's from the LEFT side of the Comfort Zone...

FACE:

I started off with Hard Candy Sheer Envy Face Primer
elf's Tone Correcting Concealer in Light Beige under the eyes and on any redness.
Next, I applied Rimmel's Lasting Finish Foundation in True Ivory (Applied with elf's Powder Brush)
I set everything with Hard Candy's Welcome Matte powder (Dusted on with elf's Total Face Brush)

CHEEKS:

I applied Milani's Baked Blush in Dolce on the apples of my cheeks (Applied with elf's Powder Blush)
I contoured with NYC Sun 2 Sun in Bronze Gold (Used elf's Blending and Bronzing Brush)

EYES:

I started out by applying elf's Eyelid Primer all over the lid.
AS I STATED: I USED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE COMFORT ZONE PALETTE... So follow this as that side ONLY
All over the lid I applied the 'eyelid' color (Applied with elf's Professional Eyeshadow Brush)
Next I took the 'crease' color and BLENDED BLENDED BLENDED it into my crease and outer V (Applied with elf's Professional Crease Brush then blended using elf's Blending Brush)
Then I applied the 'definer' color in the outer V and BLEND BLEND BLEND on the outer V and the crease slightly. (Applied using elf's Eye Blending Brush)
Lastly, I used the 'browbone' under the brow, and the inner tear duct. (Using elf's Eyeliner Brush)
I tightlined with elf's Cream Liner in Black
On the lower lid, I smudged the 'eyelid' color halfway underneath the lashes (Applied using elf's Smudge Brush)
I waterlined using Milani Liquif'Eye in Black
I filled my brows using elf's Eyebrow Kit in Dark
Curl and applied mascara (CG LashBlast Length)

LIPS:

I applied elf's Lip Liner and Blender in Natural all over the lips and blended out
Then I topped it off with elf's Shimmer Gloss in Pink

And that's it... I hope you like this look... and once again, the eyelid color in this side of the palette is said to be a dupe for Midnight Cowboy from Urban Decay... Which I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

So, I've been on this HUNT for a dupe for Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy & Midnight Cowboy Rides Again... So I bought some things at Walgreens and here they are...

Wet N Wild Comfort Zone 8 Pan Palette

So, the eyelid color 2nd from the left on the bottom (of this swatch) is supposed to be a Midnight Cowboy Dupe

Ok, I love this eyeliner from Milani. This is the Liquif'Eye Metallic Eyeliner in Black

Milani Liquif'Eye in Aqua (Dupe for Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On in Electric or Flipside depending on how you layer it)

Swatches... FYI Would not remove until I used Makeup Remover

This maybe my fave new eyeshadow... Looks a lot like Midnight Cowboy, but with more controllable glitter

Milani Runway Eyes #05 Girls Luv Pink (and I Luv This Color)

Swatched, no primer, no base... I LUV this color...

Ok, so it may not be an exact dupe, but I cannot say that I do not love Milani's Girls Luv Pink... It's pretty, shimmery, pink, and very very similar to Midnight Cowboy at least in my opinion. What do you think?
