And oh, what a day it was (!).

Sean was fine this morning. Ate a relatively normal breakfast and played awhile before we left the house at about 9:30ish. Legoland is phenomenal! So many things, animals, characters, etc.... all built with Legos. Lots &amp; lots &amp; lots &amp; lots of Legos.  And Lego characters running around for photo ops:

The Van had his 15-month well-child appointment yesterday. He is totally healthy and growing beautifully. He weighed in at 26 pounds, 8 ounces -- diaper off (75th percentile). His length is 31 inches (30th percentile! He's growing!). Head circumference is 70th percentile. His ears looked perfect! And the doctor even used that word: "perfect." Awesome!

Kerry, Kim, and I thought it'd be fun to take our kids to the circus. Ummm..... yeah. We won't be doing that again at this particular venue.

My "baby" (who is not really a baby anymore but we won't go there) is 15-months old. I still refuse to cut his hair because it will make him look too grown up, and I refuse to give up the bedtime bottle because I enjoy the cuddle time with him.

Dan &amp; I went to see Rock of Ages this afternoon. There's nothing like going on a date with your husband of 8 years, to a live musical performance that takes you back so far you would swear it's your first date with the guy. I was waiting for that slow "yawn &amp; stretch" that ends with his arm around me. We decided to go to the mall after work tonight to let the kids see Santa. I think a bomb could've gone off and Evan wouldn't have looked away from The Jolly Dude. The Elf has been all over this house and is running out of places to hang out each day. In fact, he stayed in the same spot two days in a row this weekend because "he forgot" to find a new spot. Oops.
